Making funny faces with my kids and niece. It was really a fun time to remember.

Anyway, my heart will go on…I need to continue. Yup, I need to continue searching on how a Bluray DVD players work. I was also wondering what is the difference between a Bluray DVD and a regular DVD aside from the price. Ciao for now!

Happy 81st Birtday Mickey Mouse!!

During the three undercard events, I felt so sleepy but I did enjoy each bout. The first undercard event showed some smart boxing between Jesus Soto-Karass vs Alfonso Gomez. The second one was also exciting because underdog Yuri Foreman (who was booed when the fight started) won the fight against Daniel Santos. The third was indeed a special feature. Seeing Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, the son of the legendary boxer Julio Cesar Chavez Sr, who was dashingly handsome fought against Troy Rowland.

When the fight between Manny Pacquaio vs Miguel Cotto came, all were excited. At first, I was really scared since Manny Pacquaio was the challenger and Miguel Cotto was so physically big compared to him. Anyway, as the round progressed, I became more confident that Manny Pacquiao will win the fight especially when he knocked down Cotto on the second round. The fight was stopped by the referee at the 12th Round win Cotto could no longer punch back. Cotto’s face was badly beaten by the hard blows Pacquiao gave him. He might need more than a wrinkle cream to fix his wrinkled face from Pacquiao’s combination of left and right hand hooks!

Anyway, Manny Pacquiao is the first boxer to get seven championship belts in different divisions. He is indeed the best pound for pound boxer in the world. Now, I wonder if Manny Pacquiao vs Floyd Mayweather Jr boxing fight will be a possibility for next year. That I am sure I am going to watch again!

Unlike today, many contest platforms have emerged to give unsigned talents an opportunity to showcase their ability. Contests like Philippine Idol, Pinoy Big Brother, and now MTV Emerge which have started recently. MTV emerge is a MTV, Jeepney Music, and Department of Tourism collaboration. They have put this up for Filipino talents to showcase their art of music in different genre. All participants will be subject to public voting. The grand winner will win a one year contract with Jeepney Music.

I went and voted for RapNoPhobia who raps from the island of Mindanao. It looks like they have a great talent and deserves to have a break. Based on their entry, they really worked hard to attain it. Yup, I have a new blog called “Photo Memeries.” The word memeries is combined from the words meme and memories. It is a blog that feature photos taken by me personally or any members of my family. Some of these photos are submitted to weekly memes found in the blogosphere and some are uploaded as remembrance for life happenings that I don’t want to forget but be stored online for lasting memories. My photos are not of high resolution since most of them are taken by old digital cameras and lousy phone cams, some are scanned from old pictures.

Anyway, I was really surprised when I found out that there are many dishes that can be made with cheese not only the ordinary pasta and pizza recipes. I also have found out that India was added to Guinness Book of World Records for being able to prepare 4,668 dishes with cheese! What a cheesy event! Yumm…yumm!
