To me, this is a great song, fantastic interpretation of the song into a video, I almost cried when I watched the video. Anyway, enjoy the song and the video.

One of my favourite songs of Il Divo. All four of them have amazing and powerful voices. Whatever song they sing, they can make it great. Regresa A Mi, The Time of Our Lives, and Amazing Grace (I know this is a well-known Christian hymn, but the song is beautiful, and I love it very much), just to name a few. I don't know why I'm talking about Il Divo and their songs in this entry. To cut a long story short, Il Divo is great.

What do you do when you want to make your unwanted thought go away? It is so hard to make unwanted thoughts go away, isn't it? I just had a good idea last night. I watch the spectrogram visualisation while listening to calming and soothing music. Strangely enough, I feel eased and relaxed. Maybe I should do that more often.

PowerPoint Comedy

This is Tim Lee, a humorist from California.

Tim wasn't supposed to be a comedian. A biologist by training, he graduated magna cum laude from UC San Diego with honors in biology. He went on to complete his PhD at UC Davis. He spent years developing simulation and analytical models of population dynamics before he discovered that this bored him to tears. When he tried comedy for the first time the tears stopped.

He draws heavily on his science background to twist abstract theory into thought provoking comedy.

I don't know how famous he is in the comedian world. I discovered him when he added me as a friend on YouTube. I don't know why he added me as a friend, may be he's just trying to get more audience. Well, I'm honoured that I'm one of those random people that he added. So, I went to his page, watched some videos. I think he's quite good. And his comedy is unique - PowerPoint comedy. Yes, that's right. I did it again. I had a strong feeling that Kris Allen would be the next American Idol, and I was right! Congratulations to Kris Allen, and well done to Adam Lambert.

The blue line is Adam Lambert, and the red line is Kris Allen. Even though Adam Lambert is more popular than Kris Allen on Google Trends based on the average search traffic worldwide, it really doesn't matter. A winner will be a winner.

Why did I say I did it again? Last year, I 'predicted' that David Cook was going to win the American Idol, and he won.

The first season of Malaysian Idol, I 'predicted' that Jaclyn Victor was going to win the Malaysian Idol, and she won.

The fourth season of Akademi Fantasia, I 'predicted' that Faizal Ramly was going to win the Akademi Fantasia, and he won.

The third series of The X Factor, I 'predicted' that Leona Lewis was going to win The X Factor, and she won.

The NeverEnding Story

Just finished watching The NeverEnding Story. I have watched it several times when I was a kid. It really brings back memories of my childhood. This is definitely one of my favorite fantasy movies. One thing that I really love about this movie is, somehow it makes me feel like a child again whenever I watch it. I'm not really good at writing a movie review, but all I want to say about this movie is, it is a really really really wonderful movie. I wish I can ride on Falkor's back too. It looks fun. xD

Random Thoughts For The Day #5

The song is by Hu Ge, and the title is Yue Guang. I purposely put that song in this entry because of the mood of the song. I admit that I don't understand the whole song because it is in Chinese, and I don't speak Chinese. But I know it is a sad song. I can tell by its melody. Correct me if I'm wrong. But I'm pretty sure it is a sad song.

As you might have guessed, I'm a bit sad at the moment. And when I'm feeling sad, I tend to listen to sad songs so that I can be happy again. Its like the concept of positive and negative signs. Positive and positive become positive. Positive and negative become negative. Negative and negative become positive. So, it's alright to listen to happy songs (positive) when you're happy (positive) because you'll be happy (positive). But don't listen to sad songs (negative) when you're happy (positive) because you'll be sad (negative). And listen to sad songs (negative) when you're sad (negative) so that you can be happy again (positive). Haha. Unproven concept. But it could be true. Don't you think?

Other story. I was in operating theater this morning. Including this one, I've been in operating theater four times. The previous three, I only observed, and was allowed to help with anesthetic preparation in the first event. But this time, the surgeon was kind enough to allow me to assist and she talked me through the operation. What did I get to do? Holding various surgical instruments and keeping the incision site open while the surgeon cutting through the body, helping with stitching, and some other things. It was a really good experience. Thanks to the surgeon and the team. I hope I will get that kind of opportunity again in the future (I mean, while I'm a medical student).

She's amazing. That's all I could say. I guess she proves that we cannot judge people by their appearances. Sometimes, a true talent comes from people we least expect. She completely surprises the judges and the audience with her beautiful voice. Go Susan. You can be a star too.

Why does he have to show the mic in the video? A lot of other vloggers don't show the mic (if they use one) in their videos. And of course he is the one who plays the song. He has made his appearance in front of a group of people and played guitar awesomely. No doubt that he is really good. And he's using a Lakewood guitar. I heard that (actually, I read, not heard) a Lakewood produces a really good sound. So, Lakewood + his talent = awesomeness.

P.S. He looks really happy in this video. Maybe he's got a girlfriend now. ^_^
