One of the things I like when I shot people in my pics, is get theirs natural expression and I likes this one just because the man was laughing as a mad man in the middle of the Independence Square at Quito, Ecuador.

I don’t know if someone told him a joke or something like that, but for sure if you was there you would see the man laughing

I’m not sure if this man works for any intelligence secret agency in Ecuador, but when I was shooting my camera, one of the things that makes me shot this one was the attitude of this man, he was watching all the people. he was moving around the park and went from one side to another one, he took a sit for a couple of minutes and then he continued moving around there. Listening and watching all the people at the square.

One common single action around the whole world is to watch a man sitting waiting for someone on Sunday afternoon in a public place. In fact is so common this image and that’s the reason why I’ve shoot this one. I’m not sure how much time he spends there, but during the 30 minutes I was taking photos in there, he continued waiting.

Do you have a good friend around you? In fact I just have one really good friend around me, my wife Donna, but of course after hers I’ve got many people and friend’s to talk with them. A woman and a man talking in the middle of a public square is a really common action around the world, but what are they talking? I don’t know but I liked’s to take this shot, just because both of them was sitting and suddenly she stands up after he says something. She’s took hers plastic bag and gets out there, he follows she after a couple of minutes.

Plaza de la independencia

One of the most emblematic squares at the old city’s Quito. Is for sure the “Plaza de la independencia” –independence square— just because this square was witness of the last 12 years of political movements here at Ecuador.

So, if you come to Quito, Ecuador this is a nice place to visit, especially on weekends. During these days you could find many free events at the square.

This nice picture was taken at “Centro Cultural Metropolitano” –Metropolitan Cultural Center— in the old’s Quito city.

Here at the Centro Cultural Metropolitano, you could find a lot of expos during all the year and many of them are for free, so you just must check their web site before to go to.

One of the things I likes to walk around the old Quito’s city is find things like this one. In fact this is a close-up of the central statue located at the “Plaza de la Independiencia” –Independence Square—

For sure if you come to visit Quito, Ecuador you need to visit this place and here you can understand a lot of things about our history.

Airplane at the park

This shot was taken at Cayambe, Ecuador in a park where you can find a plane in the middle of it, in fact this is a plane used by the Ecuadorian Air Forces so many years ago, and they decided donate to the community to be exposed in the park.
