I talk to my soul a lot – my soul, God, whatever you prefer to call this energy or higher being we commune together a lot and today during a session with my spiritual coach I was given a profound revelation that I wanted to share.

I always saw myself as patient. Mainly because that is what people would call me… “Diane is so patient” but the revelation was that what I am being is not patient at all but tolerant. I was putting up with people, situations, circumstances until they became intolerable at which point I reacted. I always tell people “you can push me but eventually I will push back!”

For as long as I have been a coach I have done my best to rid myself of toleration because it is a drain on energy, both toleration and intolerance are. So I had to consider what the middle option is between the two and the word “acceptance” is what came up.

The thing is I saw acceptance as something you do when people are being great or spiteful…. “You go ahead and punch me in the face because I am accepting of everything a person does” – so from that view point I would never want to be the divine state of acceptance because I believed it meant I condone what people do.

But it seems I have that wrong too. True divine acceptance says “I am going to allow you to do what you want to do without judgement” – and that is the path I am doing my best to follow!!!!

And why was I being patient/tolerant? Because I had a need. I believed that need had to be met by people – and yes we can get our needs met by family/friends – but I also realized I can meet that need myself which is far mor powerful. My soul can meet that need for me and when it is met by me I no longer need people to meet my needs.

So what happens when people no longer need to meet my needs?

Instead of spending my day constantly needing people and doing things to get my needs met through others I can spend the day doing what I choose to do because I can meet my own needs.

I become in touch with my personal power and authority : my greatness. I can choose to be around people simply because I want to be around them and for no other reason. I don’t need to be around you because you like me, or because you make me happy, or because you do anything for me because I can get those needs met through my soul and when I do I just get to enjoy sharing myself with you.

So I will no longer call myself patient because patience for me is a form of tolerance and I just look at what I am tolerating and why. The why will always be because it fulfils a need and when I fulfil that need myself I no longer have to be tolerant.

All of this came out of a conversation about being sensitive and insensitive. I believed my sensitivity got in the way but in fact sensitivity is a divine blessing. All I need to master is being sensitively detached so that I do not find myself being sucked in to other people’s drama. That only happens becomes I am attached to that person, I need them to approve of me but when I can approve of myself that need no longer exists. If I find myself hurt or upset then I am in fact being too sensitive and again need to consider what the need is that I have. When I can meet that need I am no longer over sensitive. I can conciously choose another way.

What this comes down to is being able to consciously choose my way of being in all situations and when I do that the drama around me stops. As long as I stay attached to it because I have a need it will continue.

When I use my sensitivity in an intelligent way I can use it instead of it using me. Acceptance is detached sensitivity.

It is funny how we have all these emotions that we can’t give definitions for – upset, frustration, annoyance – but when you can’t define them it becomes difficult to conciously choose a divine way of being instead. What we do is walk through life just unconsciously feeling emotions instead of consciously choosing who we want to be. If I asked you “When you feel anger what is it?” how do you answer that? how do you define it?

Finding Happiness

When I applied this to happinesses my coach invited me to choose it conciously by putting words to the feelings that make me happy, otherwise I will spend my life waiting for happiness to come to me because I don’t know where it is and how to connect to it.

When I consciously choose to define it by putting words to it when I realise I am not BEING happy I can conciously choose it and live it.

Finding the divine way

So now I was left with the question – “what is the divine way between patience and impatence” or the third way as my coach calls it. I am going to allow my soul to give me that answer because it always does – I don’t need to chase it, it will surely come.

Being able to conciously define and choose your state of being in all situations is a great gift and a definite journey but I am so happy to be on the journey towards concious creation

I decided to re-read the book Life was never meant to be a struggle by Stuart Wilde (or booklet as he calls it) as a refresher to where I am right now, which I intellectually understand is as a result of my thoughts and emotions rather than on my actions. Because I always highlight the books I read it means when I pick them up again I tend to only focus on the highlight bits which makes re-reading it faster and I take in the main points, although I sometimes wonder what I might miss out on too (that’s the control freak in me!)

Here are some great quotes:

“……… If you accept full responsibility for your life, you will accept that your destiny is created by you. And that your life is basically a symbol of your inner most thoughts and feelings – of what you believe about yourself.

He identifies a number of characters that “live” in the strugglers hall of fame:

The Hero – weakness – a lack of personal acceptance

The Terrorist – weakness – Bears a grudge on society

Professional Wimp – weakness – Does not command life

“Spiritual” Wimp – weakness – huge ego, feels like God dropped him off on earth to sit around being “special”

The Goddess – weakness – similar to spiritual wimp, may dress like a man, act tougher or with a anything you can do I can do better attitude

Wilting Wallflower – weakness – I am not capable please help me (this one was definitely be back in the day!!)

The conclusion of Life Was Never Meant to be a Struggle by Stuart Wilde:

Once you acknowledge and accept the struggles in your life (and it takes courage to identify them) then you have the power to transend.

“Once you accept you are the cause of struggle you can then affirm, with certainty, that all struggle in your life can be eliminated, given time”

Of course the important part of that whole sentence is the “given time” but because transcending what is right now into what you desire will not always happen within days or weeks, sometimes the journey is years long.

I have spent the last 18 years of my life constantly changing as I learn more about myself and sometimes I must admit to just getting plain ole tired of it all!!! Its time to stablize, normalize and just live life. If life was never meant to be a struggle then maybe I should stop attempting to end the struggle and just flow with what is.

No matter what kind of physical activity you engage in, you should make fat burning foods a regular part of your diet. These types of foods can increase the speed at which your metabolism works so that you can burn off excess fat more quickly.

What constitutes a fat burning food?

A fat burning food is a food that requires significant effort to digest by your body. These processed foods are comparatively easy to digest, especially ones which have a high fat content.

Including fat burning foods in your diet is essential if you want to reduce body fat.

Some of the best fat burning foods are:

– Lean red meat, such as beef.

-Poultry with the fat trimmed off

– Fish

– Nuts

-Shellfish and various types of seafood

-Eggs (egg whites only; the yolks are high in fat and should be eaten only in moderation)

– Protein powders: are a effective source of protein and make a good ingredient for smoothies and shakes. These are great as a mid morning or mid afternoon snack or as an after workout meal.

These fat burning foods all happen to be good sources of dietary protein as well. For muscle building protein is an essential element.

These are also foods, which require more energy to digest than processed foods, and as such are good additions to your diet. This requires more energy to maintain therefore more fat burning.

However, not all fat burning foods are good sources of protein; fresh fruits and vegetables are also excellent fat burning foods.

Fruits and vegetables require more energy to digest, and help to reduce the absorption of fat. So the more energy used by the body to digest a food the more likely you wil burn fat.

One essential point for you to remember is that highly processed foods are very easy for your body to digest in comparison. What this tells us is that they are empty calories. The little effort required by the body to digest these foods means very little if no fat burned during the process.

These processed foods are so far removed from their natural state that they contain very little or even no nutritional value. Processed foods can include:

-Canned foods which are high in sodium
-Any refined grains or foods made from refined flours such as white bread, pasta and white rice, for instance
– Packaged cookies, pastries and cakes
-Breakfast cereals high in sugar
Processed meat products

Not only are these foods basically devoid of nutritional value, your body needs to do nearly little work to digest them.

When you eliminate these empty calorie, nutrition-free foods from your diet and replace them with whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables and high quality protein sources, you’ll get all of their valuable nutrients and expend more energy in digesting your diet.

If you’re wondering if a given food is a good fat burning food, simply ask how far removed it is from its whole, natural state. Combining a diet high in fat burning foods with a regular exercise routine means you will start to reduce the amount of body fat you carry.

Thousands of people now have a copy of Stephen Pierce’s free book “Make real money on the internet” and as a result of that and research he carried out Stephen has now opened the Make Real Money On The Internet (MRMI) Super Cash membership site. http://www.ethicalcash.com

What I love about Stephen is the mindset and personal development angle he takes with what he teaches and there are some powerful audios inside the site that motivate you towards taking action as well as a declaration to earn $10,000 or more in 90 days or less – which I am sure a lot of people would love to be able to do.

Of course being the curious cat that I am (maybe I was a cat in a previous life ) I had to go check it out and see if this 90 day claim can come true because I want to break the 10,000 a month barrier and do so on a consistent basis!

With a generous 30 days to check it out for free and some great weekly teleseminars this membership site is definitely worth being part of if you are looking to work from home and build an internet business.

The Make Real Money On The Internet supercash membership site focuses on teaching affiliate marketing, blogging, resale rights, and adsense to make money online and provides systems that can be instantly used by complete beginners.

Past students have enjoyed amazing results

Greg Cesar – $161,158 – in 11 months

Deborah Torres Patel – made over $100,000

There are other stories like that on his website as well as information about his own earnings http://www.ethicalcash.com

His website says that he has over fifty five thousand satisfied customers and that’s a lot of people to satisfy

Stephen Pierce is a real inspiration. Just his story about being a high school drop out who ended up homeless, shot and broke is enough to make you realise well if he could do it then I guess I can too!!!!

The Paradoxical Commandments

by Dr. Kent M. Keith

1. People are illogical, unreasonable, and self-centered. Love them anyway.
2. If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish ulterior motives. Do good anyway.
3. If you are successful, you win false friends and true enemies. Succeed anyway.
4. The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway.
5. Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable. Be honest and frank anyway.
6. The biggest men and women with the biggest ideas can be shot down by the smallest men and women with the smallest minds. Think big anyway.
7. People favor underdogs but follow only top dogs. Fight for a few underdogs anyway.
8. What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight. Build anyway.
9. People really need help but may attack you if you do help them. Help people anyway.
10. Give the world the best you have and you’ll get kicked in the teeth. Give the world the best you have anyway.

Health, fitness and supplements are important topics in the world these days. You can tell by all the health-related magazines, TV and radio programs and Web sites you see everywhere. Health information has become more common because it’s hard to stay healthy in our modern world and people are asking for all the help they can get. I believe they’re confused because of the lack of emphasis on health now that fast food has entered the picture. Eating junk foods that deliver flavor but no nutrition has created a world filled with people who weigh more than they want to and are generally less healthy. We’re also not as connected to what is healthy for our bodies, because in addition to fostering the trend toward eating junk food, the industrial age has caused a shift away from manual labor for many. That combination has created the need to find other ways to stay healthy.

On the surface, people feel much more attractive if they’re healthy. But as you dig down into the heart of the matter, you’ll find there are many other reasons to keep the body in tip-top shape. To begin with, people who are healthy enjoy their lives much more and stay vibrant and disease-free so much longer. Good health allows them to achieve a quality of life they wouldn’t otherwise have. Those are some pretty good reasons to work on your health. If you need more, however, think about your family and friends. I’m sure they’d like you to stay healthy so they can have you around for as long as possible!

One of the ways that people count on to stay healthy is the consumption of nutrition supplements. But are nutritional supplements all they’re cracked up to be? I think you have to answer that based on your own experience but there have been quite a few studies that suggest there is great value in supplements. One good example of this are the studies inspired by World War II RAF pilots whose night vision improved when they ingested the herb bilberry. Researchers reviewed the impact of bilberries on vision health and found that there’s a strong connection. In fact, recent studies confirm that bilberries or bilberry supplements improve visual acuity in healthy people, and can also help people who have eye diseases like age-related macular degeneration (AMD), cataracts and glaucoma. Other supplements also have been proved to have a positive impact on vision care, such as lutein and vitamin A. And these are just a few vision health-related examples. Medical textbooks are full of documentation that details research studies on every possible substance. Of course, I don’t know how many of these other substances had the same glowing research findings as bilberry. It’s important to check for yourself, and make sure you get the latest research results. Remember, supplements carry risks just like pharmaceuticals, so don’t take them lightly. But don’t let that stop you either. Just be thorough with your research and then follow your instincts.

You don’t have to eat rice cakes and plain chicken breasts every day to get or stay in shape. Shake it up so good nutrition isn’t boring. If you know how to make the best diet food nutrition choices, you can eat tasty meals and still stay on your eating plan. Your daily routine can be adjusted to include good nutrition if you make the effort. If you have been overeating all the wrong foods for a long time and decide to start eating good nutrition based foods, you will right away notice a change in how you feel as your energy increases and start to get rid of those fat rolls.

Good Decisions

If you shop around the outer aisles of the grocery store, those will be the most wholesome food options. Everything from dairy products and lean meats to fresh veggies and fruits will be located right in those outer aisles. The middle aisles are where you find most of your processed foods, such as crackers and cereals and cookies, cakes and pies. These processed foods have been stripped of their nutrients. So if you want to keep to a good nutrition program, shop on the outer side of the supermarket.

How to Cook Healthy

If you are going to start eating good nutrition options, then get used to cooking for yourself. Cooking in your own kitchen will ensure that you do not eat something bad for you, that you are served a proper portion size, and also allows you to put up leftovers for the next day’s enjoyment. Putting up your leftovers gives you an alternative to convenience foods when you are in a hurry to eat on the run. If you didn’t have those leftovers, and you’re starving, you might be inclined to order a pizza or to get takeout, which could blow your good nutrition plan.

Eating at Restaurants

Good nutrition habits can be adhered to even when you are out to eat at a restaurant. Simply look for the section of the menu that offers heart friendly selections. With more and more people looking for healthier options, most restaurant chains will have at least some diet friendly items. If you do not see any nutrition information listed on the menu, you can always ask if they have it listed somewhere else. You can stay on your diet plan while eating out if you educate yourself on good nutrition ahead of time and are strong enough to not give into cravings.

Good nutrition can be exciting and it can be easily included in your daily life. You have to make a serious commitment that you will stick with this until you make that goal weight and then will maintain it into the future.

Music, singing, dancing – they all have such a wonderful uplifting effect. Yesterday was a “down” day for me. I just wasn’t feeling myself (who exactly I was feeling is a whole blog post in and of itself )

A skype message from one of my wonderful female friends who I met online AnneMarie Callan @AnneMarieCallan (we have met offline too now) and my mood was completely different.

Its such a great reminder to sing, dance and play music when your mood is less than great.

At the end of our conversation she said the words “who knows……” which instantly reminded me of a song I love from the musicial West Side Story. It is particularly great if you are worried about the future and when something is going to happen for you or turn around

Who Knows – West Side Story

Click here to view the embedded video.

Then AnneMarie shared a song that she loves called Hero by MPeople

Click here to view the embedded video.

They are great reminders to uplift yourself and I sang both of them loud and proud in the middle of my office and danced around the room! You can type in the name of the song and the word LYRICS to find the words if you don’t know them.

Give it a go. Here are the lyrics to Something’s Coming

Are you waiting for a miracle??? Are you waiting for things to turn around for you? Have you put in a lot of work and wondering when you will see the results? Maybe you are waiting for that man to walk into your life (or woman!). Sing the song loud and proud, dance (or shake your body) and let me know how it feels

Could be! Who knows?
There’s something due any day. I will know right away, soon as it shows.
It may come cannonballing down through the sky, gleam in its eye, bright as a rose!

Who knows?
It’s only just out of reach, down the block, on a beach, under a tree.
I got a feeling there’s a miracle due, gonna come true, coming to me!

Could it be? Yes, it could.
Something’s coming, something good, if I can wait!
Something’s coming, I don’t know what it is, but it is gonna be great!

With a click, with a shock, phone’ll jingle, door’ll knock,
Open the latch!
Something’s coming, don’t know when, but it’s soon; catch the moon, one-handed catch!

Around the corner, or whistling down the river, come on, deliver to me!
Will it be? Yes, it will.
Maybe just by holding still, it’ll be there!

Come on, something, come on in, don’t be shy, meet a guy, pull up a chair!
The air is humming and something great is coming!

Who knows?
It’s only just out of reach, Down the block, on a beach, maybe tonight . . .
Maybe tonight . . .
Maybe tonight . . .

So what tune do you love and how does it uplift you?
