Coupling Song “Communication” Revealed at Kanro Pure Gummy Press Con

The b-side to Perfume’s anticipated new single Spring of Life has been revealed! Our girls’ next endorsement endeavor comes in the form of Kanro Pure Gummy. The song 「コミュニケーション」 (or Communication} is a reminiscent stacatto tune of Perfume’s earlier days. Check out the CM below. You can also watch it on the official Pure Gummy website as well as the Making video.

Perfume to host MTV’S VMAJ 2012 and Unleashes Spring of Life Teaser

Fans were surprised to know that Perfume will be the hosts of this year’s Video Music Awards Japan. Concept photos for their appearance feature flowing  avant garde red dresses, symbolizing a mixture of “COOL” and “Japan”. Their 2011 hit Laser Beam was also nominated for Best Dance Video and Best Choreography. The VMAJs are scheduled to go live June 23, 2012.

The cover artwork and teaser for Spring of Life has also been released. Perfume is definitely going forward with the futuristic and robotic for their next single. What do you think?
