Sasha Fierce is back — and better than ever! New mom and World’s Most Beautiful woman, Beyoncé, shined on stage Friday night at the newly launched Revel resort in Atlantic City wearing one-of-a-kind Ralph & Russo designs.

Clad in fine form, Beyoncé, who confessed to a case of nerves prior to her first performance since giving birth to Blue Ivy, revealed her amazing post-baby body in custom-made costumes truly fit for a Queen B.

The inspiration for the sexy concert looks was “modern showgirl,” Ralph & Russo designer Tamara Ralph tells PEOPLE. The designers worked closely with the singer to create the four couture pieces worn during the sold-out shows. “Beyoncé wanted us to be really creative and create fun and edgy designs that had an ultra-glamorous feel to them,” Ralph adds.

A team of 20 couturiers worked around the clock to complete the looks, which were embellished with more than 500,000 crystals from Swarovski Elements, in just four weeks.

“The most elaborate design was the black and silver pinstripe vest,” (left) Ralph says, “as it has a corset base and sharp structural detailing which was constructed with stretch to allow for movement.” Perfect for the singer’s highly charged concert comeback.

“Beyoncé always delivers energetic performances and therefore we take into account the comfort and flexibility of each outfit and the ease of getting in and out of the pieces with quick costume changes,” adds co-designer Michael Russo. “It was an absolute pleasure to work with her to create exquisite pieces that dazzle on stage.” Tell us: What do you think of the sexy concert looks?

To makeup artist Carmindy, a beautiful face is all about the lash line. “It defines your eyes, gives you a youthful appearance, makes everything else stand out,” she tells PEOPLE. “We talk about skin, blush, lipstick, shadow, but a thicker, beautiful lash line is all you need to walk out of the house and look like a million bucks.” So how does one accomplish this?

Liner. The What Not to Wear star — a Latisse spokeswoman — recommends smudging your eyeliner. “My favorite way to do it is to sweep a pencil along the upper lash line, as close to the roots as possible, then wiggle it between those roots. Take a flat angle brush and smooth over the liner, so you don’t have a perfect line, but just a hint of smudge, which makes it look more natural.”

As for colors, “opposites do attract,” Carmindy says. So use chocolate-brown liner on blue eyes, deep navy on brown eyes, eggplant or plum on green eyes and forest green on hazel eyes. (She suggests saving black liner for dramatic nighttime looks.)

Eye creams. To preserve peepers, Carmindy recommends using an eye cream at night starting in your 20s. “Pick one that’s nice and moisturizing and nourishing,” she says. In your 30s, choose a product with retinol, which helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines. “You always want to look for products chock-full of antioxidants, acai, Vitamin C,” she says. “You’re feeding your skin.”

And when applying eye cream, use your ring finger. “It’s the weakest digit on your hand, so it doesn’t pull on that delicate area around the eyes,” she reveals. And don’t forget that SPF. “Kiehl’s does a great sunscreen for the eyes that you can even put on your lids,” she says.

Shadows. “In your teens and 20s you can play with shimmer, glitter, bold colors,” Carmindy says. “But as we get older, the texture of our eyelids changes.” So once you hit your 30s and 40s, be sure to prime your eyelids with a liquid foundation and a bit of powder. “It allows the eye shadow to last longer,” she recommends.

Try a long-wearing shadow, too, and be sure your “shimmer” shadow isn’t too glittery. “Put a bit of shadow on the back of your hand, walk into the daylight, and if you see chunks of mica, it’s too glittery,” she says. “You want it to be glowy or opalescent.”

Simplifying. “Right now the trends are about lips, cheeks and lashes,” she says. “You can even create an amazing lash line without using shadow.” Carmindy recommends doing one sweep of aqua, teal or purple liner across the lash line — and pumping up your lashes — and adding a coral cheek and lip. “That’s the key to summer,” she says.

CELEBRITY MAKEUP ARTISTS REVEAL BIG BEAUTY SECRETS

It seems Lenny Kravitz has taken a cue from Cinna: in between touring and acting, he somehow found the time to design a line of shoes for TOMS.

The singer-turned-actor got involved with brand (known for its charitable mission — for every pair sold a pair goes to a child in need) after being pushed by his daughter Zoë Kravitz, a longtime fan of the company.

“The thing a lot of people don’t know about Lenny isn’t just his amazing personal taste in fashion and style, but he also designs wallpaper and furniture, and he sees a bigger picture,” TOMS founder Blake Mycoskie tells the Daily Mail.

Kravitz’s collection is made up of several different styles, including pairs with prints, a departure from the company’s basic, yet classic design. Lyrics from Kravitz’s song “Let Love Rule” inspired one of the designs, too.

“They remind me a little of the shoes my mom would wear in the ’70s,” Kravitz tells the Daily Mail, adding that the shoes fit seamlessly into his wardrobe. He even keeps fresh pairs on hand for guests to wear around his home.

The rock star hopes to join Mycoskie on a TOMS “shoe drop” in Brazil or the Bahamas this summer, just as Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen — who designed their own TOMS — did last year.

We love Katy Perry for her over-the-top onstage fashion choices, so it’s no surprise we feel the same about her rehearsal gear, too — especially her Kanye West T-shirt.

MTV Style spotted the pop star sporting the tee in a teaser (below) for her new concert film Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D. The cheeky graphic tee shows West (who guested on Perry’s “E.T.”) as an Egyptian pharaoh — a caricature we’re sure the rapper-turned-fashion-designer would approve of.

The company behind the silkscreened creation is New York City-based Deer Dana. Other celebs that have been artistically interpreted for the sake of fashion include Justin Bieber as a Greek god, a busty — yet realistic — Kim Kardashian (West’s current girlfriend), everyone’s favorite royal redhead Prince Harry and more.

It’s nice to know that even Perry’s most low-key outfits are just as entertaining as the rest of her looks. Check out more of the singer’s style choices when her first film hits theaters July 5.

SHOP STAR LOOKS — FOR LESS!

It’s on! Britney Spears and Demi Lovato appeared at the first round of X Factor auditions in Austin, Texas, Thursday — and both definitely brought it.

Spears stepped out in a plunging hot pink mini by Brian Lichtenberg, paired with basic black pumps, minimal makeup and beachy waves.

Lovato chose a similarly bright color, covering her patterned neon green dress with a black leather jacket and finishing the look with peep-toes and a high blonde bun.

Both ladies seemed to enjoy their first day on the job, with Spears Tweeting, “Loving @TheXFactorUSA auditions so far…” and Lovato saying it was “such an amazing day…can’t wait to do it again!!!”

Spears and Lovato were announced as the new X Factor judges just two weeks ago; they join existing judges Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid. Alicia Silverstone‘s new beauty line is just like the actress: totally organic. “When you go to put things on your face, you want to treat it the same way as you’re eating,” the actress tells BellaSugar.

To pave the way, the Suburgatory guest star teamed up with Juice Beauty to create her own collection of organic and natural skin and beauty products. “Our bottles are actually made from 95 percent recycled material,” she explains. “Anything that was going to end up in a landfill has been reused and re-purposed for these bottles.”

It’s not just what’s on the outside of the products that’s all-natural, but what’s inside, too. “The ingredients are like shea butter, avocado, sesame seeds, champagne grapes, passion fruit, fruit juice, aloe vera — really yummy, good, nourishing ingredients,” the actress shares. “There’s nothing harsh going into your skin, yet they perform just as well as everything else out there.”

The actress is known for her eco activism, so the line is something she felt strongly about. “You can get really overwhelmed with all the choices out there,” she explains. “But when you have some sort of guidelines — like ‘I don’t want anything unhealthy, and I don’t want it to hurt the planet, and I want it to be amazing and be delicious and work great’ — well here’s your answer.”

Up: Pretty pointy-toe pumps. Instead of the staid platforms, Kristen Bell breaks from the mold in a pair of baby blue pointy toe pumps to complement her bright orange 3.1 Phillip Lim summer frock.

Remember that crazy haircut Robert Pattison debuted last summer? There’s an outfit to go with it.

In the actor’s upcoming film, Cosmopolis — it follows one man’s action-filled, 24-hour odyssey across Manhattan for a haircut — he wears a signature Gucci suit, the black two-button notch-lapel Signoria. The suit is paired with a fitted white cotton shirt, slim black tie, leather belt and black leather shoes, also by Gucci.

The film’s costume designer, Denise Cronenberg, collaborated with Gucci to dress Pattinson for the film. “The concept I had in mind for Rob’s character was decided as I read the script,” she explains in a release. “It would require an elegant, expensive suit, white shirt and slim tie.”

Needless to say, Gucci was happy to oblige. “We are so pleased to work with Robert on Cosmopolis and to create an effortless and classic style for his character,” the fashion house’s creative director, Frida Giannini, shares.

Well that was fast! Just a few weeks after showing off a half-shaved hairdo, Rihanna debuted a brand new look on Wednesday night’s American Idol — dreadlocks.

Prior to her “Where Have You Been” performance during the big finale, the pop star Tweeted a preview of her new hair, along with a caption saying, “Wake bake shake dem dreads.”

It seems as if the Bajan beauty switches her look as often as she changes her signature hats.

Just this year she got rid of her Loud era’s red hair and opted for a more natural brunette hue, then she went blonde back in February and most recently went back to black.

Although she didn’t dye her mane, the new dreadlocks are definitely different — and possibly here to stay. Rihanna Tweeted that she’s wanted them “since I was 14, but mama Fent’z wasn’t havin it! Hehe.”

Apparently, the mane is also quite heavy (though that didn’t slow down her performance Wednesday night); she compared the weight of the dreads to, ahem, “Goliath’s balls.”

Only time will tell how long this new style will last, but what do you think? Does she pull it off? Or is this too over-the-top?

TRY STAR HAIRSTYLES FOR YOURSELF IN INSTANT MAKEOVER

What a gem! For his surprise proposal on American Idol Wednesday night, Ace Young selected an 18-karat yellow gold, platinum and diamond engagement ring to present to longtime girlfriend Diana DeGarmo.

The David Webb sparkler, which features a 1-carat fancy yellow center stone, also boasts two side diamonds weighing .2 carats.

Young helped to design the ring, after hearing DeGarmo drop a hint. “A month ago, she said, ‘Gold needs to come back,’” Young told PEOPLE after Wednesday’s finale. “I was like, ‘I agree,’ so mental note. Her favorite thing is a sunflower and she loves yellow, so one of our dear friends [helped me] put together a ring that has a yellow diamond, a gold band and two smaller diamonds on the side that are clear, so it’s like a sunflower.”

The couple, who’ve been together for two years, met in the spring of 2010 when both signed on to costar in the Broadway revival of the musical Hair. DeGarmo appeared on Idol season three, while Young was on season five.

Just because she’s a Revlon spokesperson doesn’t mean Halle Berry wears a lot of makeup. “I hardly ever wear makeup,” Berry admitted to PEOPLE. “I like to give my skin a break — let it breathe.”

However, she definitely wears a product or two when filming and promoting Revlon’s new ColorStay products.

“I actually have this on today in the ‘Honey’ color,” the spokeswoman said at a recent New York press day, pointing to Revlon’s ‘Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains.’ “I love it — it’s creamy and yummy, not drippy and sticky.”

Revlon is releasing several new ColorStay products this summer — balm stains included — as well as its new ‘ColorStay Whipped Crème Makeup’ foundation, which Berry has actually nicknamed. “I call is soufflé,” the bride-to-be joked, “because when I first saw it, I felt like I wanted to eat it!”

The ageless actress is 45, yet she doesn’t look a day over 30. Her secret? Using Kinara Spa skincare products and staying healthy. “It’s cleansing your skin, watching what you eat, no smoking, not too much drinking, no sugar — just simple,” she admitted. “And using sunscreen! If you don’t have a good base, then it doesn’t matter what you put on it — it’s not going to look as great as it could.”

While Revlon is rolling out new cosmetics, the actress has rolled out something new, too: a curly hairstyle. “I actually did it for work,” the star revealed, adding that it’s for her latest film, The Hive. “But I also look at hair as an accessory, just like a handbag or a pair of shoes. It’s something you can put on, play with for awhile and then take it off and try something different.”

Berry is simple in the sense that her beauty must-have is a “good lip balm,” so it’s not surprising that she likes her hairstyle’s ease. “When you have short hair, sometimes you have to play with it a little to make it look good,” she explained. “This [pointing to her hair] is what you call wash-and-wear beach hair. It’s ready to go!”

If you’re looking to get past the velvet rope at a hot nightclub this weekend, Giuliana Rancic definitely knows how.

“It’s all about confidence,” the E! News host tells PEOPLE. “It’s not always the skinniest, tallest, or prettiest but it’s the most confident that gets let in.”

Rancic teamed up with Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy (Heidi Klum is the brand’s new face) to star in a “Best Night Ever” TV vignette (above), which reveals what it takes to get into exclusive hotspots. “I play a bouncer, and it shows me letting people in — and I tend to focus on the person’s hair,” she explains.

To prepare for her role, the news anchor and reality TV star said she used some of her own experiences. “When I first moved out to L.A., I was going to all the hot clubs,” she reveals. “Me and my friends would walk right to the front of the line and lie to the bouncer and say someone was waiting for us — 90 percent of the time it worked!”

Rancic says long and wavy hair makes her feel the most confident now — but she used to sport a very different do. “I had long, bleached-out blonde hair with dark roots — it was pretty tragic,” the Fashion Police star jokes. “The first week I started working, a high-profile producer told me I should chop off my hair to my chin, get my roots done and try a softer blonde. It looked quite cute actually.”

Although Rancic liked the cropped look, she’s in no rush to chop off her luscious long locks. “As you get older, you want to milk that window of where it’s appropriate to keep it long,” she quips. “Because eventually it’s going to look desperate.”
