10 years ago we started Pegamixels as a community of artists who shared funny/weird internet content before it was really coined “memes”. Then the inevitable took course and “meme” culture via instagram really took off like a space X rocket ship. Unfortunately we never migrated over to IG and we haven’t posted in the past few years. Tumblr dying out and our members being focused on their careers, we couldn’t be more proud of each other and the progression we’ve all made in our crafts/lives.

We never did it for the money, or traffic, or likes, or followers. Wonder what would have happen if we had took this operation to instagram when it started tho. .. Fuckjerry/Daquan/Fatjew… Pegamixels would have been #1? haha nah, who knows. pretty weird that they are making tons of money off found internet content. maybe if we knew it could have brought that much cash in we would have sold out to the IG fame. ..nah.

Pegamixels is ancient in internet tech years. This will be the final few months of the existence of pegamixels.com. it will become just a memory and story for those who enjoyed the legacy. Tell your grandkids about us as they live on to like and share memes all day long.

Somewhere during Pegamixels early existence we released a compilation mixtape that contains pre-famed music from producers who influence the culture today. Click here to download the mix and the beats that made the mix 10 years ago. Included are also never previously release Individual tracks and soundbites of some of our favorite vintage memes. Also a few files that never originally came out on the mix as well. Enjoy.

So.. Farewell my friends/weirdos. Thank you so much for all your support and days of laughter. People out there are idiots and we will never ever run out of idiots to laugh at. Thanks Everyone.
