The third fight between these two great fighters in the boxing world is just less than 4 months away as Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Manuel Marquez 3 will face next on November 12th, 2011 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this fight Pacquiao will defend his WBO (World Boxing Organization) Welterweight World title with the great Mexican fighter Juan Manuel Marquez. Juan Manuel Marquez is one of the fighters that has a lot of hard work to beat Pacquaio mainly due to the great combination of punches, precision and speed that can possess by Juan Manuel "Dinamita" Marquez. No doubt this is the best boxing match of 2011 and perhaps
many years.

Many boxing analyst and fans are giving their prediction about the upcoming Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 fight and one of them is conditioning coach Alex Ariza. He said that Manny Pacquiao won’t beat Juan Manuel Marquez in their third face-off, he will destroy the Mexican champion. Marquez is like a thorn to Pacquiao and he has to prove that he is better, so I have no doubt that if we will see a great Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 fight because there will be no statues in the ring and Manny will not be a picnic as the ones used to. Marquez has a desire to win, but if you lose either way, we want to take away many questions of who will be better and we will be able to clarify what happened in their 2 previous meetings. The chief of the Nevada Athletic Commission has found a way to review possible lapses made by referees in boxing matches. The solution comes in the form of the instant replay, and for the first time in boxing history, it will be implemented in the third fight between Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez in November. The commission has approved to use instant replays on the Pacquiao vs Marquez fight on Nov. 12 in Las Vegas. Instant replay is the replaying of video footage of an event or incident in a sport event very soon after it has occurred.

Now, it is boxing’s turn to make use of the technology. In essence, the use of instant replay will help determine whether an injury obtained by a fighter was caused by an illegal blow from his opponent. The referee shall then decide whether that blow was intentional or accidental.

If the illegal blow was deemed intentional, the erring fighter loses via disqualification. In case of an accidental blow, the referee shall determine whether the injured fighter is fit to continue.

Boxing fans can't wait to see again Manny Pacquiao in action once again against Juan Manuel Marquez this coming November 12. Tickets to the rubber match won’t be available until the first week of August but Arum said the priciest will retail at $1,200, while the cheapest will be sold at around $200. The 17,000-seat MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas will host the World Boxing Organization welterweight title fight.

The $1,200 ringside seat will be the second most expensive for a Pacquiao headliner. When Pacquiao fought the legendary Oscar De La Hoya in December 2008 also at the MGM Grand, the price of a ringsise seat was $1,500. When Pacquiao faced Shane Mosley last month, a ringside ticket sold at $1,000 and Arum remains optimistic the extra $200 will not matter since Marquez should put on a gutsier stand against Pacquiao.

Arum expects a sellout and make a killing in the pay-per-view owing to the bad blood that exist between Pacquiao and Marquez, who share a storied but controversial past. Pacquiao and Marquez, then featherweights (126 lbs) battled to a draw in May 2004 but Pacquiao escaped with a split decision when they fought again in March 2008 as super-featherweights (130 lbs).

This November, they’ll fight at a catchweight of 144 lbs and a key and very vocal personality believes Pacquiao will handily beat Marquez in the third encounter.

Why Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 will be Exciting?

Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 will be the most exciting fight of 2011. We all know that Manny Pacquiao (53-3-2, 38 KOs) recent fight against Shane Mosley seems to me no exciting at all. Will these time we will see some real action. Pacquiao will fight Juan Manuel Marquez (52-5-1, 38 KOs) for the third time hoping Pacquiao will silence Marquez this time. The Action will be more back-and-forth than fans expect, even when fought at a higher weight (144 lbs.) than the lightweight Marquez is used to.

The 8 division world champion Pacquiao holds two distinct advantages in this bout: explosiveness and speed. I expect Pacquiao to knock down Marquez at least once in this fight.

However, Marquez's counter-punching and side-to-side movement will at times frustrate and hurt Pacquiao, and at times, provide much difficulty for the pound-for-pound king.

While Marquez did struggle at a heavier weight. Marquez looked like he was fighting in quicksand against Floyd Mayweather Jr. in their 144 lbs match. Pacquiao, however, has had success fighting at a heavier weight. They say styles make fights. Marquez's style is the perfect antidote to Pacquiao's offensive onslaught. Marquez matches up very well with Pacquiao. Marquez is a very technical fighter with excellent counter striking. Experts say that Pacquiao is stronger and faster at welterweight and Marquez will be destroyed on November 12. But for me, I don't think so, Marquez still possesses the skill set to give Pacquiao another run for his money.

Their first fight took place inside of the MGM Grand and saw Pacquiao storm out of the gates with three first-round knockdowns before Marquez regrouped to take command in the middle rounds. The second fight was just as wild, as Marquez again overcame a third-round knockdown before turning the tide of the fight only to see Pacquiao close a bit stronger in the championship rounds. Now the two fighters will meet again on November 12 in Las Vegas. Pacquiao vs Marquez 3, is this a competitive fight or a mismatch? If its a competitive fight, you believe that Marquez has proven his style gives Pacquiao fits, and it’s a style unlike anything Pacquiao has seen since his one-point split decision over Juan Manuel Marquez in 2008. If you say its a mismatch, you believe that Pacquiao has outgrown Marquez since their last fight and, at a contract weight of 144 pounds, Pacquiao will be at his most effective and Marquez will be at his least effective.

I’ll be the first to admit that I’d rather have seen the fighters agree to meet at 140, a weight I firmly believe Manny can still make it. But to me, it’s more about what Marquez weighs than what Pacquiao weighs. Marquez, regardless of the contract weight, should still train to be about 135 pounds or so—in shape and comfortable. The better condition Marquez is in, the quicker he’ll be, and the more he can offset whatever poundage he’s giving away.

This is an unusual situation in that almost nobody is picking Marquez to win, but many of us endorse the fight anyway. But what I see here is an opponent who, at any weight, knows how to time and hit Pacquiao. Yes, it’s possible the size difference will influence each man’s ability to take the other’s punch. It’s possible Pacquiao will blow Marquez out, as he nearly did in their first meeting seven years ago. But whatever the outcome, I want to see Pacquiao face someone with a style that isn’t made to order. Marquez might give Pacquiao fits again. That’s good enough to get me supporting Pacquiao vs Marquez 3.

It was confirmed by the chief executive of the Golden Boy Promotions Richard Schaefer that Top Rank sent a formal written letter to WBA/WBO lightweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez offering him $5 million dollar guarantee to fight Manny Pacquiao in his world welterweight title on November 12 in Las Vegas, Marquez accepted the offer and said that” it’s the fight I’ve been waiting for and I want to fight him”

According to Marquez, the catch weight is going to be 144 pounds and not 145 as what they previously outlined as disclosed by Micheal Koncz, the adviser of Pacquiao. Though Marquez had already accepted the fight, it was not yet official on what weight will they agreed to fight. As we know catch weight is a part of the negotiations for a third fight between Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez. The Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 fight will favor Marquez if he wins the fight because he is going to jump from Lightweight to Welterweight and it’s a smooth way to make up his loss on his last fight with Mayweather.

Mexican boxing champion Juan Manuel Marquez said he has become more keyed up for a possible third bout with Fighter of the Decade Manny Pacquiao.

“Pacquiao, Pacquiao, Pacquiao, I sound like a broken record already,” Marquez said in the post-fight press conference. He wore a shirt that stated, “I beat Pacquiao twice,”.

He now boasts of a record of 52-5-1, including 38 knockout wins. In the press conference, Marquez reiterated his call, saying he should be the next challenger to the 8-division champion Pacquiao.

“Yes, he beat bigger fellows but they are all past their prime while I beat younger and stronger boxers like Juan Diaz and Michael Katsidis,” he claimed.

The boxer said he will fight Pacquiao if the latter agrees to fight at 140 to 142 lbs.

“I know he can make that weight as when he fought Margarito, he was just 144 lbs. So if they insist in fight at 147, like Freddie Roach has mentioned, they are again giving excuses,” he said.

Pacquiao’s Hall-of-Famer coach had said that the boxing superstar will only fight next in the welterweight division. He said the Filipino boxer seems more “comfortable” weighing at 147 lbs.

The brash Mexican called on boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao to face him so they could prove once and for all who between the two of them is the better fighter.Marquez made the challenge shortly after disposing of Michael Katsidis in the ninth round of their title fight to retain his World Boxing Association (WBA) and World Boxing Organization (WBO) lightweight belts at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“Pacquiao, Pacquiao, Pacquiao, I sound like a broken record already,” said Marquez during the post-fight interview.

“I will fight him at 140 or even 142 lbs. I know he can make that weight as when he fought Margarito,” added the soft-spoken Mexican. He noted how Pacquiao, his long-time rival, came in at 144 lbs. at the official weigh-in of his recent super-welterweight fight with Antonio Margarito.

The challenge Marquez hurled is just the latest in a series his camp has made on the 31-year-old Pacquiao, the same fighter whom he turned down in 2004 when a rematch was in the planning stage. That controversial title fight had ended in a draw. Pacquiao knocked Marquez thrice in a blazing start in that action-packed bout. But the Mexican stood up each time, rallied in the later rounds, and eventually salvaged a draw to retain his featherweight belts.

A return match was immediately worked on, but the Marquez camp turned down the proposed 50-50 split of the purse. Marquez eventually relented to a second meeting with the Pacman in 2008. It was a bloody encounter that saw the Filipino pride escaping with a controversial split decision, a result that obviously didn’t sit well with the Mexican fighter. Up to this day, Marquez insists he won both times over Pacquiao, now the world’s top pound-for-pound fighter.
