New OpenMRS.org Website Template

OpenMRS has adopted a new logo. It hasn't gotten widespread adoption yet mainly because the openmrs.org sites aren't using it. We would like to convert the mediawiki, phpbb, and wordpress header files to use this new logo and look. Upon request, all of the current theme/files can be given out. See this forum post for Burke's mockup of the website with the new logo.

WYSIWYG Form Designer for Html Form Entry Module

The Html Form Entry Module has several advantages over the Infopath FormEntry module: it requires no installed software, and filling out a form happens directly in the web browser. But it has one big shortcoming: you need an html programmer to be able to build a form. We need a tool that allows non-programmers to design html forms. The easier version of this project would be to create a page that allows you to pick a widget type (e.g. checkbox for concept question and answer) some concepts, and gives you back the html to paste into notepad (e.g. <obs conceptId="123" answerConceptId="456" answerLabel="Malaria"/>). The much cooler version of this project would be to take TinyMCE or FCKeditor, and create some custom widgets, thus giving a true WYSIWYG experience, along with complete integration with the OpenMRS widgets for picking concepts, etc.

There should be an option on the administration page to remove all module data when removing a module. This would require a change to OpenMRS Core code as well as changing existing modules to include this feature. See ticket #643 (http://dev.openmrs.org/ticket/643).

When multiple systems are being used together, unified authentication (single sign-on) can greatly improve the user experience. An LDAP module for OpenMRS would override the existing authentication scheme and instead use a connection to an w:LDAP server to authenticate users within OpenMRS.
