The New York Young Republican Club is proud to endorse Ramses Frias for New York State Assembly, District 39. This district is home to some of the most diverse communities in the country, with many immigrant-owned small businesses and families. The people of District 39 face challenges such as violent crime, illegal street vending, affordability and a sharp decline in quality of life. Residents of Corona, Jackson Heights, and Elmhurst have endured a lack of authentic leadership for far too long.

Ramses Frias is a lifelong Queens resident, father, community advocate, and healthcare professional running for New York State Assembly in District 39, representing Corona, Elmhurst, Jackson Heights, and parts of Middle Village. Born and raised in Elmhurst, Ramses has spent years fighting for safer streets, better quality of life, stronger schools, and affordable healthcare for working families.

Ramses is the founder of Citizens United, a community-based group dedicated to elevating the quality of life for NYC residents. He is also a member of the Let’s Improve Roosevelt Avenue bipartisan coalition, which advocates for improvements along Roosevelt Avenue. Additionally, he has helped hundreds of families access and navigate community healthcare resources. His grassroots activism has earned him regular appearances on Fox News and other local and national media outlets, where he discusses issues affecting the streets of Queens.

Running against incumbent leftist radical Catalina Cruz, Ramses is campaigning on a platform focused on public safety, lowering the cost of living, supporting small businesses, improving education, and delivering real results for Queens neighborhoods too often ignored by Albany politicians. His campaign message is simple: “Safer Streets. Lower Costs. Stronger Queens.”As an Elmhurst father, community leader, common-sense advocate, and club member, Ramses Frias is the every-man Queens needs to represent New Yorkers in the State Assembly. The New York Young Republican Club is proud to endorse Ramses Frias for New York State Assembly, District 39.

The New York Young Republican Club is proud to endorse Mike LiPetri for Congress in New York’s Third Congressional District. NY-03 is the only district to unite Queens and Long Island and represents the beating heart of the American dream. Its working and middle-class families deserve a fighter in Washington, not a swamp creature. That is why the New York Young Republican Club is proud to endorse fellow Young Republican Mike LiPetri for Congress.

Mike LiPetri is a Long Island native who has already proven himself in Albany as a State Assemblyman. He stood firmly against legislation that would have undermined law enforcement, consistently opposed tax hikes on middle-class families, and pushed for investigations into Andrew Cuomo’s disastrous nursing home scandal. President Donald J. Trump recognized Mike’s dedication to the people of Queens and Long Island and has endorsed him in this race and so do we.

In 2024, Mike LiPetri ran against his radical opponent and gave him a run for his money in one of the closest US House races in the country. Now with a contentious gubernatorial race and a national environment favoring House Republicans, the time for victory and generational change in the NY-03 is now more than ever. NY-03 is being failed by its current radical Democratic Representative. Illegal immigration, crushing taxes, and economic stagnation demand bold leadership for the people of Queens. Mike LiPetri will bring that leadership to Congress. The New York Young Republican Club, the oldest and largest Republican organization in the United States of America is proud to stand behind Mike LiPetri and urges our members across Queens, Nassau and Suffolk counties to do the same.

This weekend, President Donald J. Trump made his mark on the Orient. Without conceding ground, President Trump secured commitments from China to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, purchase more American exports, and mutually cut tens of billions of dollars worth of tariffs. The moment brings to mind the great President Richard M. Nixon’s trip to China in 1972, which rewrote the geopolitical landscape for the next 50 years. When President Nixon pried open the Chinese markets, it struck a mortal blow to the Soviet Union and cemented American economic dominance. President Trump is creating the same conditions today.

In the last six months, President Trump incapacitated Venezuela and other Chinese and Russian allies, crippling America’s main geopolitical rivals. The Chinese Communist Party, which relied for decades on cheap oil from its allies to support its global ambitions, suddenly found itself with no reliable supply of oil. Forced into a vulnerable, pliant state, President Trump’s delegation swooped in for the kill. His visit last weekend put distance between China and Russia and is forcing the CCP in line.

The New York Young Republican Club recognizes President Donald J. Trump as the Richard M. Nixon of our time. Nixon, a proud NYYRC member, used his brilliant geopolitical acumen to bring China into America’s sphere of influence. President Trump’s moves this year are no less significant. Thanks to our President, America’s enemies are weaker than ever and our international influence is stronger. Xi Jinping, the tinpot dictator of the Orient, has been brought to heel before the might of the American Nation. The legacy of Richard Nixon lives on in 2026.

America’s big stick is back. We should use it to improve the lives of the American People.

NEW YORK, NY — After the Supreme Court eliminated race-based gerrymandering last week, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), a low-IQ individual, declared the Supreme Court “illegitimate” and accused President Donald J. Trump of rigging the upcoming midterm elections. The Voting Rights Act, which allowed Democrat-led courts and legislatures to arbitrarily redraw Congressional voting maps to create majority-minority districts, was a key pillar of Democrat election strategy before the Supreme Court declared the law unconstitutional. Responding to Jeffries’ unprecedented attack on the Supreme Court, President Trump remarked that, “After saying such a thing, isn’t he subject to Impeachment? … Where are you Republicans? Why not get it started?”

Well, Mr. President, here we are. As the largest group of organized Young Republicans in New York State – and, indeed, in the United States – the New York Young Republican Club supports President Donald J. Trump’s initiative to expel Minority Leader Jeffries from the House of Representatives. Republicans should understand that Democrat extremism will continue until Republicans show spine. Initiating proceedings to expel Jeffries from the House, while not dispositive, will give Republicans credibility as the November elections approach.

“Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries will forever be remembered as a discount Barack Obama,” said NYYRC President Stefano L. Forte. “He shouldn’t be a Congressman, let alone be two seats away from the Speaker of the House. For stoking the flames of insurrection and violence against our great President Donald J. Trump, Jeffries should be removed from office immediately. I am proud to be joined in this call by the Honorable Republican Chairman Liam McCabe of Kings County and the Honorable Conservative Chairwoman Fran Vella-Marrone.”

“In Brooklyn, we keep it simple,” said Brooklyn Republican County Chairman Liam A. McCabe. “If you hold high office, you uphold the Constitution — not tear it down when decisions don’t go your way. Hakeem Jeffries has proven himself unfit to uphold the Constitution he swore to defend. His attack on the Supreme Court is a direct assault on the rule of law. Congress should initiate expulsion proceedings without delay to defend the integrity of our institutions. ‘Horrible Hakeem’ is Brooklyn’s Biggest Embarrassment and we are happy to join the NYYRC in helping to end his sad career.”

“Hakeem Jeffries should stay in his lane,” said New York State Assemblyman Lester Chang. “The Supreme Court has done its job. It’s time Jeffries does the same for once. Politics in our country should not be viewed through race, but through dedication to our Constitution and national values. Congressman Jeffries is sadly lacking in both, and we don’t need people like that in office.”

“Hakeem Jeffries has time and again overlooked large parts of his district in southern Brooklyn,” said Kings County Conservative Party Chairwoman Fran Vella-Marrone. “Now, he is upset that the Supreme Court has rightfully gotten rid of the kind of racial gerrymandering that he and left-wing Democrats have used for years. Brooklyn could do a whole lot better with someone else in that seat.”

Hakeem Jeffries crossed a dangerous line this week with his rhetoric. As a Member of Congress, Jeffries must be brought to understand that the Supreme Court is no more legitimate than he is. Attacking a co-equal branch of government, while ignoring the basic 14th Amendment prohibition on race-based gerrymandering, was uncalled for and is an illegitimate use of Jeffries’ office. House Republicans should respond with more than rhetoric. Expulsion proceedings should be initiated against Jeffries, who is unfit to represent New Yorkers in the storied halls of Congress.

As Democrat Extremists continue to make attempts on the life of our dear President, it would behoove Hakeem Jeffries to tone down his rhetoric. If Jeffries cannot understand this, he is unworthy to serve as an elected representative of the good people of New York.

The New York Young Republican Club is urging New York’s Republican delegates to the House of Representatives to oppose, reject, and organize against H.R. 4393, the DIGNIDAD (Dignity) Act of 2025. Co-sponsored by 20 Democrats and 20 Republicans, including Rep. Mike Lawler (NY-17), this legislation would give legal status and working rights to up to 45 million Americans who are in our country illegally. Passing this legislation would be an unprecedented betrayal of Republican voters.

As the oldest and largest Young Republican Club in the United States, and as the first organization in America to endorse President Donald J. Trump’s 2024 bid for reelection, we state unequivocally that MAGA Republicans, Young Republicans, and the Republican electorate in general, forcefully opposes mass amnesty. In 2024, the first item on the Republican Platform was to “Seal the border, and stop the migrant invasion.” If this wasn’t sufficiently clear, item two was “carry out the largest deportation operation in American history.”

While we understand the urge to broaden our Party’s political base, we cannot sacrifice our own values, identity, and country to achieve this end. Tens of millions of conservatives, both Republicans and Independents, are more inspired by a Republican Party that is fighting for them than by the 20 GOP co-sponsors of the Amnesty Act, who would abandon their interests, platform, and values.

The New York Young Republican Club calls on New York’s Republican elected officials in the House of Representatives to represent the interests of their constituents by rejecting this proposed legislation.

Read our full letter to Congress here.

At last, the murderer of hero police detective Jonathan E. Diller, will spend time behind bars. But although the Queens jury convicted his killer of manslaughter, a lesser charge, it acquitted him of his true crime: first-degree murder. On a cheery March afternoon, almost exactly two years ago, Detective Diller approached an illegally-parked car for a traffic stop. In the car was repeat-convict Guy Rivera, who opened fire on Diller at point-blank range, inflicting mortal injuries. The entire incident was captured on body-cam.

Make no mistake about it; Guy Rivera and his partner in crime, Lindy Jones, are the vile results of left-wing policies and culture. Instead of leading a life of education, hard work, thrift, productivity, and a commitment to excellence, they had been arrested a combined total of 35 times in the past, and Lindy Jones was even out on bail. In lieu of abiding by the law and following the instructions of police officers to exit their vehicle peacefully, both men accepted the bizarre left-wing notion that St. George Floyd, Eric Brown, and countless others espoused that one has the right to resist violently the lawful commands of law enforcement.

Although the entire incident was captured on camera, and there can be no mistaking Rivera’s crimes, the New York jury refused to convict the killer. The jury in effect stated that it believed that Rivera did not intend to murder Detective Diller, but rather only to cause serious physical harm, displaying more compassion for a stone-cold killer than an upstanding officer, a husband, and a father. Detective Diller truly represented New York’s finest. After being shot, he fought to protect his fellow officers and New Yorkers until the very end, as he successfully wrestled Rivera’s gun away from his vicious, murderous hands before collapsing on the ground.

“This is bittersweet.” Troy M. Olson, Sergeant-at-Arms of the New York Young Republican Club, said. “Detective Diller’s life is worth so much more than one more day of freedom for either Rivera or Jones.”

The New York Young Republican Club mourns the loss of Detective Diller, a hero of New York. Our City deserves better, and life will improve only when the brave men and women in law enforcement are given the respect they deserve. While we are grateful the killer will do time for his crime, justice was not served today. May God rest his soul and deliver the justice his murderer deserves, in this life and in the next.

Isten, Család, Haza. God, Family, Homeland.

The New York Young Republican Club proudly endorses Viktor Orbán for reelection as Prime Minister of Hungary. Prime Minister Orbán is Europe’s most experienced leader and at this moment of crisis for Europe, his steady hands are Hungary’s best hope for a strong future. Orbán first held the prime minister’s office from 1998-2002, and since resuming office in 2010, established Hungary as the European capital of conservativism. As the Hungarians bravely held off the Ottomans so many centuries ago, today the Fidesz party has successfully held off the globalist order that has left so many once-glorious European countries in shambles.

Unlike how globalist Europe is retreating from Western Civilization, Prime Minister Orbán is steadfastly reinforcing it. He is not shy that Hungary is a Christian country. In 2013, he declared that his government’s motto was Soli Deo Gloria: Glory to God Alone. In 2018, the Fidesz government passed a fundamental law declaring that: “The protection of the constitutional identity and Christian culture of Hungary shall be an obligation of every organ of the State.” Is there a better expression of the duty of government outside the American Constitution? Today, the simple motto “God, Family, Homeland,” Isten, Család, Haza, is the lodestar of Orbán’s government.

While Europe is decaying from within, abandoning its Western and Christian heritage, Hungary is restoring these identities to their rightful prominence. While Europe invited at least 87 million migrants into its borders, Hungary built a wall to keep them out. While Europe is baiting Russia into a world war, Hungary is holding the line for peace. While Europe is destroying its own culture, Hungary threw the George Soros-funded Central European University out of its country. And while Europe is abandoning its energy security on the altar of climate change, Hungary is investing heavily in nuclear power. There is a trend here: Europe is struggling, but 20 years of Orbán’s visionary leadership is breathing new life into Hungary’s restoration.

The NYYRC’s relationship with Hungary stretches back to at least 1958, when we condemned the cruel murders of Imre Nagy and General Pál Maléter by the Soviet Union. In 2022, we issued our first ever international endorsement for Prime Minister Orbán. Since that year, an NYYRC delegation has attended every CPAC Hungary conference – including this year. Americans and Hungarians must stand together because we are stronger together, and Prime Minister Orbán has been a good friend to President Donald J. Trump and the United States.

Today, Americans admire the strength, faith, and conviction of the Hungarian People, the Fidesz party, and Prime Minister Orbán. Despite the difficult times facing Europe, Orbán has shown strength, courage, and wisdom navigating his country through these challenging times. In this moment of choosing, the New York Young Republican Club calls on all patriotic Hungarians to ensure a bright future for their country by reelecting Viktor Orbán as Prime Minister of Hungary.

On April 12, 2026, vote for Viktor Orbán for reelection as Prime Minister of Hungary.

Mike Muñoz is no stranger to service, and the moment for his service to the people of our state has arrived.

The New York Young Republican Club is proud to endorse Mike Muñoz for the New York State Assembly in the 67th Assembly District. A decorated United States Army veteran. A tireless advocate for those who have served. A proven community leader. And a common sense alternative that the Upper West Side and Hell’s Kitchen need in Albany.

A former Sergeant in the United States Army, Muñoz served fourteen years on Active Duty and in the Reserves as a Radio Transmissions Specialist and Geospatial Imagery Intelligence Analyst. He deployed to Iraq twice with the legendary 101st Airborne Division, the Screaming Eagles, during Operations Iraqi Freedom I, IV, and V. He supported USSOUTHCOM, USNORTHCOM, and USCENTCOM. From the deserts of Iraq to the defense of the homeland, Muñoz answered the call.

Why does a veteran deserve to represent the people of New York City? Because a man who has risked his life for his country will never hesitate to fight for his neighbors. Because a man who’s led his comrades into battle understands the stakes of security for our families, our businesses, and our public spaces. In Muñoz, we have an ally who has seen the consequences of failed leadership abroad and will never tolerate it at home. In Muñoz, we have a coalition partner who can withstand attacks from left and right, and follow through for his constituents. And Manhattan residents in the 67th Assembly District are fatigued by twenty years of high-tax, high-crime liberal rule.

That spirit of service did not end with the uniform. Muñoz is the founding Commander of American Legion Post 917, the first new American Legion Post chartered in New York City in over a decade. Under his leadership, Post 917 has become a vital institution, advocating before the City Council’s Committee on Veterans and providing a community of purpose for those who have served. Now, as Chairman of our Veterans Caucus, Muñoz has recruited and mentored veteran members into new leadership roles, rising in defense of our individual rights, our community values, and our limitless opportunity. Michael Muñoz leaves no veteran behind, and no creed forgotten.

In Zohran Mamdani’s New York, public safety remains an afterthought, small businesses are strangled by regulation, and veterans are an invisible constituency. We know Muñoz will fight for veterans’ healthcare access and veterans’ dignity. We trust he will stand with law enforcement to restore safe streets and clean public spaces. We expect he will cut the red tape and the tax burden that suffocates the small businesses which bring life and commerce to the streets of Manhattan. Mike Muñoz knows that prosperity starts with us, the people of this city, not with Albany’s ever-expanding bureaucracy.

The New York Young Republican Club is proud to endorse Mike Muñoz for the New York State Assembly in Assembly District 67. We encourage all New Yorkers on the Upper West Side, in Hell’s Kitchen, and across Clinton to cast their ballot for the only common sense candidate in this race. The stakes have never been higher.

Vote Mike Muñoz on Tuesday, November 3rd.

The New York Young Republican Club proudly endorses Tom Stanten for New York State Senate in District 26.

Tom Stanten is exactly the type of candidate needed to represent the men and women of Brooklyn. As a retired NYPD Detective, Tom dedicated his career to protecting New Yorkers and upholding the rule of law in one of the toughest environments in the nation. His service as a U.S. Navy veteran and K9 bomb detection handler further demonstrates his bravery and dedication. His dedication has also stretched overseas while deploying aboard the USS Carl Vinson for critical counter-offensive operations in the Arabian Sea following the September 11 attacks. His extensive education in Security, Public Administration, Behavioral Science, and Communications only builds on that.

In Albany, he will bring real-world experience to the State Senate, advocating for stronger law enforcement, support for veterans and first responders. Push policies that restore common sense and security to our state.

The New York Young Republican Club is excited to support Tom Stanten’s campaign and calls on all voters across Brooklyn to join us in electing him to represent District 26. Tom is the fighter New York needs and we are proud to stand behind him.

The New York Young Republican Club is proud to endorse Etan Harris for Civil Judge in Kings County (Brooklyn) in Municipal District 8.

Etan Harris is a dedicated, homegrown New Yorker with deep roots in South Brooklyn, where he was born, raised, and continues to live and serve his community. Harris is a licensed attorney with almost 2 decades of courtroom experience in New York City. He has built a strong reputation through his practice at Harris Legal PLLC, which he founded. He has fought for the rights of tenants and property owners throughout the city and has tried to represent justice in a city that often suffers from corruption. This balanced background, representing landlords and tenants alike, gives him a rare, practical understanding of the everyday disputes that flood New York City’s Civil Court system.

Kings County residents deserve better than the status quo of unopposed or default judicial selections. For too long, voters in Brooklyn have had limited real choice on the bench where judicial decisions affect everyday lives. Etan is stepping up to provide that choice as principled, experienced conservative voice committed to fairness, the rule of law, and impartial justice without political favoritism. or activist overreach.

Etan understands the unique challenges of representing Brooklyn. Whether it is housing shortages or tenant-landlord tensions he will bring common-sense conservatism to the bench. He will respect property rights, uphold contracts, and enforce the law as written. Under his keen eye, he will help to ensure the court serves as a neutral arbiter rather than an instrument of political favors.

The New York Young Republican Club therefore proudly endorses Etan Harris and we encourage all eligible voters to support him for Civil Judge, Kings County Municipal District 8.
