Small improvement to our order tracking tool

Our order tracking tool now let's you check the status of more than 1 order at a time. This was a highly requested improvement so we're glad to roll it out.

The way it works is still quite simple. Just enter all your POs separated by commas and we show the status for each plus tracking information.

If you haven't tried it yet, check out our order tracking tool. All you need to know is your account number to use it. You can find that on your most recent invoice.

Much larger improvements are in the works. For now, we hope this makes your life a little easier.

Our inability to print on both sides was the 1 weakness of our full color plastic bags. Starting today, that weakness no longer exists. We just added standard pricing for 2nd side printing to our web site for all full color plastic bags. The advantages of full color printing include: 100 piece minimums, free PMS matches, 10 day service and no additional charges.

The 2010 PPAI Expo is history and what a show!

Thanks to those that visited us and saw all that we had to showcase. It really energized us hearing so much positive feedback. In case you missed our show specials I'm making them available for download. We tried to be extra aggressive with the discounts this year so hopefully you find them useful.

ASI Orlando Redux

The ASI Orlando show was a blast. I'm off next to PPAI Vegas. Here are my thoughts on our 1st show of the year.

The economy
As best I can tell, 2010 is going to be an amazingly positive year for everyone. We're excited about our new products, but regardless, you can feel a ton of energy in the industry and we're already experiencing an uptick in sales.

2nd side free on all nonwoven totes
The response from our distributors was great, but I was even more shocked to have a few suppliers stop by to comment on this breakthrough. Obviously everyone is curious how it's possible. For now that's our secret.

Diecut handle nonwoven totes
Our new diecut handle nonwoven tote was definitely the favorite out of our 8 nonwoven options. Someone even called it the "new grocery tote" which I thought was a nice compliment. It's a great option if you need a nonwoven tote that's less expensive.

Memo books
These are already selling like hotcakes! I never saw anything take off so fast. We handed out over 1000 memo book samples at the show! Unreal.

Bumper stickers & decals
If a picture is worth a thousand words then our ability to digitally print photographic images is priceless. Our prices are unbelievably low for these fade resistant, removable stickers and decals.

Full color digital printing
Numerous people referred to us as the "full color" or "digital printing" company. That's super exciting. It's a lot of fun showing people that we offer full color printing on so many products. Bumper stickers, plastic bags, awards, memo books, banners and yard signs to name a few.

Our 2010 pricing for memo books is finalized and we're officially taking orders. If you're familiar with K-R's memo book pricing you'll notice there's no change. You'll also notice that we gave full color memo books a modest boost in print quality.

This is the first of 7 new products that we're announcing for 2010. Six more announcements are coming soon. I promise a few will be even bigger than this one.

Krieger-Ragsdale's memo book line is the newest addition to the Noteworthy family. The memo book equipment is mostly operational, but it will take another few weeks for us to finalize our manufacturing process and make sure everything is running perfectly. We'll keep you posted of our progress and will provide another update when we're ready to take orders.

Just to tease, I made a short video today of the memo book machine running smoothly for the first time since it moved.

Our full color self promotion bags are a big hit. We sell 2 - 3 every week, but this Tuesday was a record. We received 13 orders in one day.

Without a doubt the growth in interest is due to our new full color stock designs. Well with over 100 self promotion bags sold we know with certainty the goldfish is the king of the self promotion stock designs. We sold 4 goldfishes out of the 13 sold in one day.

Of course, I still like superman the best. Superwoman is coming soon.

Free 2nd side printing

Who wants to pay $1.50+ for a bag only to have a 50% chance of being seen? The typical charge for 2nd side printing is $0.50 (A) per color. That fee is unreasonably high and prevents customers from getting full value out of their purchase. How much easier will it be to sell when you can offer printing on both sides every time?

$0.18 (A) per imprint color (first color free)
Everyone loves color, but when it costs $0.50 (A) per color customers can't afford a 2, 3, or 4 color design. What's worse is that charge only includes 1 side. If your customers want 2 colors on both sides it's an extra $1.50 (A) if you buy from anyone else. We keep it simple and only charge $0.18 (A) for each additional color and that includes the second side.

Up to 4 spot colors
We're the first supplier to offer more than 2 color printing on nonwoven bags. We'll print up to 4 spot colors even if you only need 250 bags. And we sell color at a price your customers can afford. A 4 color design printed on both sides will only cost $0.54 (A) extra.

We added the ability to check your order status on our website. Visit the order status page under our resources section to use this new feature.

This feature works in the simplest possible manner. You do not need to login or sign up for an account. Just enter your Account ID and Order ID. We'll show you the status for that specific order.

There's one major limitation with this feature: you can only check status for one order at a time. This limitation is unavoidable until we're able to provide you with password protected access to your order and account information.

We'll continue to gradually enhance our website with more tools that make your life easier. For now, we hope you enjoy this small improvement.

We’re started taking quotes on 2-sided digitally printed plastic bags. For the first time ever, offer your customers full color printing with no plate charges and 250 piece minimums. We’re working on developing standard pricing for 2nd side printing, but for now we’re quoting all 2-sided orders. Get in touch to learn more.

Our self-promo special continues to be a huge hit. We’ll make 250 11×15 grab bags with your full color, custom design for just $99 (net). If you want to print on both sides it’s $139 (net) total. Self-promo stock designs are forthcoming.

Website updates

Our websites received a few pleasant updates. A new resources section is focused on providing you with tools to help you sell. It includes case studies, product images, and client safe versions of our flyers. Our code of conduct is available on our website now too.

New VP of Sales

In our 50+ year history we never had a VP of Sales until now. Chad Majewski is our first VP of sales and we couldn’t be happier about it. Chad is the perfect sales manager. He’s genuine, thoughtful, well-organized, full of ideas, and a ton of fun to be around. He’s the ultimate advocate for our distributors and an endless source of great ideas.
