<p>Last week, the sun hurled all kinds of charged particles our way and local photographers got out and captured the show.</p>
<p>Here are just a few of the fabulous images we found that were posted and/or sent to us this week. We thought it might be fun to see these all together, just to give you a taste of what was on display that night, June 7. And thanks to all the photographers who went out that night and then shared their images with us.</p>
<p>The first photo, above, is by <strong>Nace Hagemann</strong>. (www.nacehagemannphotography.smugmug.com)</p>
<p><strong>Travis Novitsky</strong> (www.travisnovitksy.com) caught some beauties, too. Here&#8217;s one.</p>
<div id="attachment_4726" class="wp-caption aligncenter" style="width: 522px"><a href="http://www.northshoreartscene.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/travis-northern-lights.jpg"><img class=" wp-image-4726 " alt="travis northern lights" src="http://www.northshoreartscene.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/travis-northern-lights.jpg" width="512" height="341" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text"><em>Photo by Travis Novitsky.</em></p></div>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s a wonderful one by<strong> Bryan Hansel</strong> (www.bryanhansel.com)</p>
<div id="attachment_4722" class="wp-caption aligncenter" style="width: 550px"><a href="http://www.northshoreartscene.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/bryan-hansel-curtains-of-northern-lights.jpg"><img class=" wp-image-4722" alt="bryan hansel curtains of northern lights" src="http://www.northshoreartscene.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/bryan-hansel-curtains-of-northern-lights.jpg" width="540" height="361" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text"><em>Photo by Bryan Hansel.</em></p></div>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Dennis Chick</strong> caught these wild colors. (http://dennischick.com)</p>
<div id="attachment_4718" class="wp-caption aligncenter" style="width: 528px"><a href="http://www.northshoreartscene.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/dennis-chick-purple-northern-lights-big.jpg"><img class=" wp-image-4718 " alt="dennis chick purple northern lights big" src="http://www.northshoreartscene.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/dennis-chick-purple-northern-lights-big.jpg" width="518" height="345" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text"><em>Photo by Dennis Chick.</em></p></div>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>David R. Johnson</strong> (davidrjohnson.zenfolio.com) shot this one on Maple Hill.</p>
<div id="attachment_4730" class="wp-caption aligncenter" style="width: 528px"><a href="http://www.northshoreartscene.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/david-johnson-aurora-june-6.jpg"><img class=" wp-image-4730" alt="david johnson aurora june 6" src="http://www.northshoreartscene.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/david-johnson-aurora-june-6.jpg" width="518" height="343" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text"><em>Photo by David R Johnson</em>.</p></div>
<p>And for delicate subtlety, check out this photo by <strong>Heidi Pinkerton</strong> (www.rootriverphotography.com).</p>
<div id="attachment_4725" class="wp-caption aligncenter" style="width: 490px"><a href="http://www.northshoreartscene.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/heidi-aurora-june-7.jpg"><img class="size-full wp-image-4725" alt="heidi aurora june 7" src="http://www.northshoreartscene.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/heidi-aurora-june-7.jpg" width="480" height="720" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text"><em>Photo by Heidi Pinkerton</em></p></div>
