Nokia X6 now available in Indian Market for just Rs 14,499 only

So finally Nokia has started flooding Indian markets with new mobile phones every few months without giving their customers a chance to shift to some other brand. Nokia has launched X6 recently in the Indian Market for just Rs 14,499 only & the official announcement of the X6 8GB was made on Twitter by Nokia. . Nokia has launched X6 with 16GB memory card before but later they decided to offer X6 with 8GB with almost same features and the price have been quoted very less compared to X6 16GB.

Nokia X6 8GB is a full feature phone with stylish looks as well. It also has 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen.The handset also boasts the memory of 128MB and is powered with ARM which provides you a processing speed of 434MHz. .The X6 8GB runs on Symbian OS S60 5.0 and has Bluetooth, USB, WLAN connectivity features.It also has 5MP camera with a LED flash and autofocus. Nokia X6 8GB also got a frontend camera.

Nokia X6 8GB is basically a music phone with all the features and options available for the muscic lovers. The dual stereo speakers with high precision music quality remain as highlight for this phone. Nokia X6 8GB supports a high quality video recording up to 30 fps. X6 8GB plays various music formats like MP3, SpMidi, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, WMA and MTP. It plays 35 hours of music and 4.5 hours of video.

For this power pack featured phone Nokia has quoted the price of Rs 14,499 only.

Mobile Giant Nokia has cleared the rumours about Nokia C6. C6 is going to be launched by first week of September and is not available in the indian market still. No reasons as of now is given as such for the delay in launch by Nokia.

Many of you must be unaware of the glossy features of C6 so lets have a quick look at it:-

Nokia India has announced a Tie-Up with Tata DoCoMo ,the GSM brand of Tata Teleservices, to offer Nokia Ovi Life Tools to a larger chunk of consumers in rural and semi-urban India. They will collaborate to offer Nokia Ovi Life Tools services to all Tata DoCoMo subscribers.

This new service is specially designed to provide the customers with information, news, reports, tips and advices on agriculture as well as education. Nokia Life Tools Agriculture service is available across 18 states and in 11 regional languages . Those languages include Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Oriya and English.

To subscribe for such scheme they offer customers with Two plans .

1) The basic plan at Rs. 30 per month, provides daily weather updates and relevant agriculture-related news, advice and tips.

2) There is also a premium plan at Rs. 60 per month, which provides the closest market prices for three crops chosen by the subscriber, as well as weather information, news, advice and tips.

Users can subscribe to their preferred educational service such as learn English, general knowledge or exam tips for Rs. 30 per month.

TATA DoCoMo

Both the companies has decided for this tie-up so that their customers in rural areas can live their life meaningful and satisfactory. Such services will help them to live their life better and can earn their Living. It will help children to get good Education which will be motivating for them . Such a noble cause of this two companies will definitely reduce poverty and increase literacy in our country. Hope people residing in Rural areas use this services and get benefited.

Finnish Phone Maker Nokia is trying hard to save its positon in the market for smartphones but it is not able to do so. Despite Nokia is doing well with low-end mobile phones but not with the high -end smartphones as its profit earning has gone down by 40% in the second quarter. Nokia has a lot of expectation from its N8 which is Symbian based. Nokia’s CEO Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo believes that his job depends on the sucess of N8. He believes N8 will be a come-back for high-end smartphones.

There are news that Nokia is planning to replace its CEO Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo who is working with Nokia since 2006. Its a last chance for Olli-Pekka to bring Nokia phones in line with Apple & RIM. It has further in rumors that Nokia has knocked the door of many CEOs of technology companies in the US. And in light of this matter one CEO of major entity has refused the offer looking at the condition of Nokia in the market.

Instead of leading, Nokia is lagging. It took a year to catch up with Apple’s first touchscreen mobile device in 2007. Now Nokia has reported delays in the technology for the new Symbian 3 smartphones, while Apple has raced ahead with the release of the iPhone 4.

If Nokia decides to replace the existing CEO than who will be to take that position. Will he/she be capable to do that job which olli was not able to do? Will Nokia N8 save olli’s job ? One of the unique E series cell phone, Nokia E75, having a full qwerty slider along with regular keypad is getting a firmware update. Though E75 didn’t get much of a popularity as E71, this cell phone definitely possesses all features which would lure people to get attracted to this device.

Though the firmware has not been declared in all the markets, it has been declared in selected markets. There is no Over the Air update, but the device can be updated via Nokia Software Updater and PC Suite.

The new version is v211.12 and comes with a download of 146MB file which demands good internet connection. We recommend that you back up all your files on your PC via PC Suite and then do the process of software update. Its simple and demands from the user to just follow the on screen instructions carefully.

There are many bug fixes but unfortunately you cannot see them as they are internal fixes. But surely you can feel it in the performance of your device. The update does bring stability and functionality to the device, but it does not have any additional features. All you E75 users, do update us by commenting and letting us know the new features that you come across after updating the firmware of your device;)

In this competitive trend of the mobile phones where local brands are grabbing the market with their Dual sim phones, mobile Giant Nokia is still lagging behind in this. The Indian Brands like Micro Max, Maxx, Spice and others have grabbed a large market share from past 1 year giving the tough competition to Nokia which was ruling the market since long. Those company have understood the needs of the customer of Dual sim phones and they are giving them what they want but Nokia has not done so till now. Nokia’s Dual sim phones C1 & C2 which will be Dual sim phones are still few months away from the launch.

Thought the people are cautious about the brands and they need it,but not at the cost of their choice. They are looking for such phones where they can get everything in one phone. Recently they all are looking for phones which give them facility for two sim cards so that they can minimize their bills by choosing low tariff plans . Indian Brands are giving them this facility while Nokia is still in process.

If Nokia wants its lost dignity back once again than it has to hurry up before they loss more of its customers. According to the law its said that “Survival of the Fittest”. Will Nokia able to survive in this market ? Will it be again in the top position as before? Will it be able to gain its customers once again? We need to wait to answere this.

Nokia N8 which have been in the news since long is finally going to be launched in the market soon. Nokia N8 is first Symbian 3 operating system phone with 12 mega-pixel camera. It is said that it will be available in stores from 31st August. The Nokia N8 has appeared on online retail site Play.com with a pre-order price of £449.99 (inc. VAT) and delivered. Nokia has not revealed the price and the date till now but it is expected round about 24th August . But Nokia site has not revealed any dates for N8 till now but Play is known for getting the jump over other online retail websites just as they did with the Nokia C6 which seems to be backed up by a recent Nokia Online posting.

But since there is a trend to delay the launch even after the dates are announced N8 might also get delayed. Who knows that ?

Nokia might want it fans to wait a little more for N8.
