Nokia N8 coming to US on 30th Sept?

It seems that there is some confirmation on the launch date of the much awaited smartphone form Nokia, the N8. It is being rumored that Nokia would officially launch the N8 in US on 30th September. Thats not all the E7 (N8 with a qwerty) is said to be around the corner and an announcement may come any moment.

The N8 is a typical symbian touchscreen with heavy specs like 12MP camera, HDMI out, HD video recording etc. However during our hands on the UI and interface didn’t impress beyond what we have seen in the N97. Lets wait for a proper review upon launch!Similar Posts:

Whoa, last we heard Nokia was betting the touchscreen game on MeeGo. Intel and Nokia’s joint effort to get a good smart OS up and running seems to be attractive, however given the fact that WeTab was spotted at IFA Berlin running a build of MeeGo OS we are worried if Nokia wouldn’t be the first one to debut the OS? Nokia is all set to go aggressive in the low end of the market. Given that feature phones and mid range smartphones are the best bet for them currently, Nokia has outed perhaps the most affordable quality phone sporting a 5 megapixel camera. The X2 adds on to the list of C series phones that are targeted at the low end, but this one comes with the Ovi integration and runs Symbian S40. The screen is 2.2″ and the pricing remains pretty affordable at Rs 5999. While we aren’t very impressed with the prospects of Nokia N8, these C series and X series phones are here to steal the show!

Want to format your Nokia Symbian phone?

Nokia phones are mostly built on Symbian platform. So if your Nokia phones is giving you problems like handing over and again,restarting or virus than you should go for formating your cell. This option will help you to solve your problem. In Nokia Symbian based phones there are two type of formats:-

1) Soft Format

2) Hard Format

We recommend you to first go for a soft format and if your problem is not solved then go for a hard format.

Precautions Before You Go For Any Format

1) Back up all of your data and contacts.You can use nokia PC suite to do so.

2) Make sure that your phone battery is full.

3) Do not switch of your phone while phone is performing a format.

Now here is a step by step complete tutorial with all the tips and tricks on how to format symbian mobile phones.

Soft Format: This will erase all the data in the internal drive.

1) To perform you have to close any background application if running.

2) Enter *#7370# in as you enter any phone number

3) Now your phone will be formatted.All your internal data is lost.

Hard Format: Well! this might make your phone unusable if your battery get empty during this format.So first Charge your phone or put a charger because it drains a lot of battery.You might require help of one person to

1) Switch of your nokia symbian phone.

2) Then hold down these tree keys simultaneously.Green (call key),* key and 3 button.

3) Now Switch on your phone while holding these keys.And format will be started.

4) When the message “Formatting” appears on the screen then release these keys.

5) Wait till the format is complete. It may take a while.

Password Recovery of your memory card without loosing your data.

So have you ever faced a situation in which you have forgotten your memory card password and than you are left with no option but only formatting. So by formatting you loose your data. We have a trick by which you can recover your password without formatting and without loosing your data. There is a trick in which you can get back or hack your memory card password if locked in minutes in latest Symbian mobiles its easy to hack or restore passwords.

Here are some few tricks for you:-

1) In your symbian mobile make sure you have installed file explore i recommend to use x-plore this trick is to reset your memory card password to default.

2) Launch or open x-plore application and now press 0 and select or check it(“slow system file”).

3) Now goto c:/Sys/Data/Mmcstore using browsing files in c:

4) after that press 3 now make the open with in Hex-Viewer format and save it.

5) Now this open file may contain like this text line of code! TMSDO2G(c??”?x???9?8?7?6?5) ignore all symbols for this text now your password is 98765.

Thats it you got your password for your memory card with loosing your data. Just follow the above steps and it will be done.

It feels good to see your Nokia N97 Mini running many applications together like other N series devices but when you continue to do so for many days you must have observed your battery life getting weak. The battery which is used in N97 is BL-4D which is longer and thinner than Bl-5C which is used in other devices.

Here there are few tricks,which will help you to save your battery life.

1) Theme (Should be limited to phone memory only) :- Normally we use Themes in our handset to enhance the look of the phone screen and inner pages which is normally downloaded from the memory card of the phone. When such features are in use it keeps on using the memory card. So its better to keep the Themes(which are smaller in size) in phone memory so that there is less usage of battery while keeping the memory card activated.

2) Don’t keep on switching your phone on/off:- You have N97 Mini with you that does’t mean that you have mini computers with you as they are smartphones. When you continuously switch On/OFF your handset it eats up the battery as every internal application and function has to stop running or Start every time when you do so. So when you find your phone battery low than you should use your phone in the offline profile and activate the power saving option. After doing so your phone is nearly off.

3) Reduce the Backlight Time:- Every Nokia phone has settings to increase/decrease the backlight time. So you should reduce the time of the backlight in your phone to save the battery life. Also in phone display settings you can play with light sensor settings which when not needed can save good amount of battery life.

4) Offline Mode when you listening to only Music:- generally when you travel the best thing you do is listening to music so at that time you can keep your phone on offline profile as it would keep the phone in static as the searching of network is not done in that mode. So it will help you to save your battery life.

Nokia has gone official with the launch details of its C1-00 and C2 dual SIM phones in India. Starting as low as Rs 2000, the C1-00 features colour screen and FM and makes a handy entry level phone. On the other hand the C2 comes in with both SIMs working together (normally you can only use one SIM at a time in most low end dual SIM phones). C2 costs Rs 2500.

We already knew that Nokia is gearing up to launch Dual SIM phones under the new C series. The need for the same comes from competitors like Samsung already taking the dual-SIM route and at the same time increasing competition from chines local phones and local manufacturers like MicroMax, Lava, Karbon etc. India has given a huge reception to chinese phones with little quality but features like a loud speaker (really loud!) and dual SIMs.

Swype Text input now with Nokia N8

We have been waiting for this since long when Nokia invested in swype along with Samsung. Samsung has already implemented this technology in its high end phone which is Galaxy S. But Nokia has not implemented it till now but we look forward to be implemented in N8. All must not be aware of swype. You must be thinking what this swype is. swype is something which reduces your donkey work in writing. Its not that easy to get use to swype but once you get use to it i bet you will not be able to put tour hands off. And if you don’t get use to it than also never mind any time you can switch it off and use the keyboard what Nokia gives you with N8.

Nokia will include swype is not yet confirmed by Nokia itself till now its only a rumor assuming that since Nokia has invested in swype it will be implementing it. It will be surprising as well as new experience using swype in Nokia’s handset.

Lets see a small video which shows the difference between a handset with one swype implemented and other not.

1) Connect your phone as a USB mass storage device,or by taking the memory stick out and putting it in a card reader

Nokia and Apple are desperately waiting for tomorrow as it’s 31st August Deadline for BlackBerry Services. So do you thinkRIM will get an extension regarding its services in India? The government has asked the RIM to give the access of its corporate e-mail and messenger services which the company has denied to do so. Security of the nation is very necessary for the government so it has ordered RIM to give them the access or else all their services will be ban in India. The deadline is 31st August if they don’t come to any decision than BlackBerry market will loose its significance in the Indian Market. If so happens Nokia and Apple will gain the market share and they are waiting for this golden opportunity only.

There are million BlackBerry users if they don’t take decision in favor of govt they will loose all of its customers. All the way they have started loosing their customers from the day when the company had denied access of the communication to the govt and in return govt threatened to ban their services.

So all are waiting for tomorrow. What decision RIM will take? Will it give access to the Govt? Will BlackBerry loose their market in India? Do you think Govt will give some more extension to RIM? Lets wait and watch about the decision by the Govt.
