Cette semaine, NipTech reçoit Alex Farcet, de Startupbootcamp. Alex a héroïquement accepté de nous parler lundi matin, à la sortie du Startup Weekend Copenhague. Ceux qui ont vécu un startup weekend apprécieront le geste à sa juste valeur L’édition était exclusivement dédiée aux applications mobiles. Vous pouvez voir la liste des équipes gagnantes sur le site de l’événement.

Startupbootcamp est un nouvel accélérateur européen, originellement basé à Copenhague et qui s’est depuis étendu à deux autres villes: Madrid et Dublin. Alors que l’édition madrilène vient de débuter, les inscriptions pour l’édition danoise sont désormais ouvertes. Affilié à TechStars, Startupbootcamp s’est construit sur une vraie perspective internationale, avec des équipes qui viennent de l’Europe entière et de plus loin parfois, pour passer 3 mois dans une des ces villes. A la fin de ces 3 mois, les startups présentent leur produit à des investisseurs. Le reste de l’histoire reste encore à écrire pour la plupart des startups ayant pris part à l’aventure puisque le programme est encore très jeune.

Alex nous dit tout ce qu’il y a à savoir sur ce programme, ce qu’il recherche, ce qu’il offre et ce qu’il demande en échange. Passer par un accélérateur n’est pas obligatoire pour une startup mais c’est à coup sûr une option à considérer. Après cette interview, pas de doute que vous aurez une vision plus claire de ce que vous pouvez gagner à participer et du rôle des accélérateurs dans l’écosystème de l’innovation.
