PRK Hulu Selangor : Saya suka jumpa rakyat dari berdebat dengan pembangkang, kata Najib

Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Najib Razak berkata, beliau lebih suka berjumpa rakyat daripada memikirkan mengenai cabaran berdebat dengan Ketua Pembangkang. Najib berkata, beliau tidak mengambil kisah mengenai cabaran tersebut kerana apa yang perlu diutamakan ketika ini adalah memberi masa depan yang terjamin untuk rakyat.
“Mana ada dalam perancangan nak berdebat dengan Anwar Ibrahim di Kuala Kubu Baru. Tak ada. Saya lebih suka kalau dapat jumpa dengan anda kerana lebih banyak faedah yang diperolehi daripada berjumpa dengannya.

Oleh itu kita jangan ambil kisah apa yang dilakukan pembangkang kerana mereka lebih mementingkan politik daripada memperjuangkan agenda rakyat,” katanya ketika berucap pada majlis kenduri rakyat di Kampung Melayu Rasa di sini, hari ini.
Hadir sama Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Jamil Khir Baharom, Menteri Perdagangan Dalam Negeri, Koperasi dan Kepenggunaan Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob dan Anggota Dewan Undangan Negri (ADUN) Batang Kali Mohd Isa Abu Kasim.
Beberapa kain rentang dipasang di sekitar pekan Kuala Kubu Baru (KKB) yang mendakwa Perdana Menteri akan menyertai debat perdana dengan Anwar di stadium mini KKB pukul 9 malam ini.
Najib berkata, perdebatan seperti itu jelas tidak akan menguntungkan mana-mana pihak malah rakyat juga tidak seharusnya dilibatkan dalam permainan serta helah politik pembangkang yang tiada kesudahan.
“Tidak ada gunanya saya menyertai debat yang tidak bertujuan dan belum pasti apa faedahnya. Kita ada gagasan, kita ada dasar, kita ada kemahuan yang telah pun dibuat. Saya akan teruskan pembaharuan ini,”katanya. — Bernama

Keputusan Pilihanraya Hulu Selangor P94: Pakatan Mendahului BN

Jika semalam Ilham Centre dalam kaji selidiknya mendakwa kemenangan akan memihak kepada Barisan Nasional, kajian sebuah lagi pertubuhan bebas menunjukkan pengundi Hulu Selangor mula mendekati Pakatan Rakyat.

Kajian Zentrum Future Studies Malaysia, mengenai Analisis Kajian Mikro Persepsi Kepercayaan Politik menunjukkan Pakatan Rakyat yang diwakili PKR berada di hadapan dengan sokongan 51.7 peratus berbanding 48.3 peratus yang diperolehi Barisan Nasional.

Perbezaan tipis 3.4 peratus itu masih membimbangkan kedua-dua Pakatan dan BN apabila menuju penghujung kempen yang mungkin akan pengaruhi bagaimana pengundi membuat keputusan esok.

Keputusan kajian yang diperolehi sebelum tengah malam semalam menunjukkan BN memperolehi 51.4 peratus sokongan manakala Pakatan pula mendapat sokongan 48.6 peratus pengundi.

Ia akan menjadi menarik bagaimana keputusan malam terakhir hari ini sebelum pembuangan undi samada dapat memberi gambaran jelas siapa mendahului.

Zentrum yang diketuai pengasas dan presidennya Abu Hassan Hasbullah, dari Universiti Malaya mengumpulkan data secara harian kerana ia merasakan perubahan tertentu boleh mempengaruhi sentimen pengundi.

Menurutnya sokongan kecil memihak kepada Pakatan atas alasan komunikasi dan peranan media baru, di samping kain rentang, poster dan ceramah yang kini dikatan memberi kesan.

Zentrum berharap kajian ini boleh dijadikan rujukan untuk menentukan corak pengundian pada masa depan.

Pemuda sokong Pakatan

Kajian Zentrum menunjukkan 61 peratus masyarakat Melayu memilih BN manakala sokongan kaum India adalah sebanyak 54 peratus.

Namun sokongan kaum Cina kepada PKR berada pada tahap yang tinggi, iaitu 78 peratus.

Golongan lelaki pula dilihat sebagai penyokong kuatan Pakatan dengan 58 peratus manakala wanita (69 peratus) menyokong BN.

Apa yang lebih menarik ialah kajian menunjukkan 37 peratus wanita Melayu masih belum membuat keputusan sejak semalam berbanding wanita India dan Cina yang kebanyakkan mereka telah membuat keputusan.

Turut mencuri tumpuan ialah kajian mendapati 57 peratus golongan muda iaitu responden yang berusia antara 21 hingga 30 tahun menyokong pembangkang manakala 58 peratus daripada golongan mereka yang berumur 31 hingga 40 juga menyokong calon PKR.

Manakala golongan tua dan warga emas seperti mereka berumur yang 40 hingga 59 serta golongan berumur 60 ke atas adalah penyokong kuat BN.

Peranan media baru

Kajian Zentrum juga menunjukkan 72 peratus penduduk kawasan bandar bergantung pada media baru. Manakala kajian juga menunjukkan media baru berjaya menembus 42 peratus ke kawasan pendalaman.

Beberapa faktor mempengaruhi corak mengundi setelah tempoh berakhir kempen hampir tamat iaitu:

• pengaruh dan kehadiran pemimpin berpengaruh,
• pengaruh media baru dan tradisional,
• pengaruh atmosfera demokrasi seperti ugutan kepada kakitangan awam, masyarakat dan keluarga serta,
• pengaruh budaya dalam isu agama.

Kajian juga menunjukkan faktor yang akan menentukan kemenangan seseorang calon bergantung pada faktor pengundi yang akan keluar mengundi. Ia mengambil kira faktor umur dan jantina mereka.

Sementara itu, semakan dengan Zentrum Future Studies Malaysia, mendapati Pakatan terus mendahului BN apabila mereka tiba di penghujung kempen.

Hari ini pada pukul 12.00 malam... ulangan setiap isnin -rabu 12.30 malam ASTRO Prima akan menayangkan episode terakhir Dyesebel. Apa yang teruja sangat bukan kerana pelakon nya yang lawa bab model tetapi jalan ceritanya yang banyak berkait sampai kan boleh dalam satu rumah. Bab kata Mam Guada Fredo adalah segala kunci apa kuncinya itu.......

Kunci nya adalah Pertemuan dramatik antara Dyesebel hinggalah berlakunya satu emosi yang tiada pada manusia iaitu Cinta Pertama dan selama nya. itu adalah satu terapan emosi yang telah hapus mungkin mitos berlaku pada manusia arinie. Manusia rinie banyaknya hipokrit dan materialistik untuk menjalinkan satu hubungan jenis.

Niezom amat kagus terapan dan daya fikiran Marvelos kerana dari situ maka terbongkar satu -satu kait semasa waktu muda terutama Lucia. Lucia Juga seorang ratu dimana cinta nya telah menjadi satu trauma hingga disitu sudut psikologi memainkan peranan, kerana emosi dan cinta seseorang manusia boleh hilang ingatan, itu ada dalam sudut hipnosis pakar jiwa.

Dari sudut gaya kehidupan elit manusia dari Sir Juan membawa dirinya kepada kepentingan diri, kerana baru dia sedari bahawa dia adalah suatu pemberian kepada insan sitimewa kepada semua keluarga kerabat Serenea.

Antara isu yang sering dimainkan media ke atas gerakan Islam seperti PAS adalah dakwaan kononnya Pas anti hiburan. Mesej yang cuba dibawa dari dakwaan tidak berasas ini - amat berbahaya untuk memberi kepada gerakan Islam seperti Pas . Memberi sokongan kepada Pas ertinya menyokong supaya industri hiburan ditutup. Tiada konsert, tiada filem, tiada nyanyian. Begitulah fitnah yang sering dimainkan oleh musuh gerakan Islam.

Tidak dinafikan jika yang dimaksudkan hiburan itu adalah satu bentuk keseronokan yang bebas sepenuhnya dari sebarang sekatan dan kawalan maka Pas mengaku bahawa ia memang menentang hiburan sebegitu. Jika yang dimaksudkan dengan hiburan misalnya adalah nyanyian atau lakonan yang melibatkan pergaulan bebas lelaki dan wanita yang tidak terkawal , pakaian yang menjolok mata, senikata dan skrip yang tidak membina keperibadian manusia sepertimana yang ditonjolkan oleh Hollywood atau Bolywood dan ditiru oleh industri hiburan tanahair maka hiburan yang seperti itu akan pasti ditentang oleh Pas meskipun seluruh alam membenci Pas.

Bagi Pas hasrat manusia untuk berhibur adalah satu fitrah manusia. Memandangkan ianya satu fitrah maka adalah mustahil untuk Pas melarang perkara tersebut. Sebaliknya hiburan itu patut disuburkan bagi membantu manusia lari dari masalah dan kerunsingan yang mereka hadapi. Bukankah itu matlamat hiburan ?

Tetapi pangkal persoalan di Perak ialah DUN kini dianggotai oleh kekuatan yang hampir seimbang antara dua pakatan politik iaitu Barisan Nasional dan pakatan pembangkang.

Ertinya tidak akan wujud satu kekuatan politik yang boleh dianggap sebagai mempunyai "kuasa majoriti muktamad". Paling ideal ialah supaya DUN Perak diperintah oleh parti politik yang mempunyai majoriti muktamad.

Tetapi umumnya mereka berpendapat, satu pilihan raya baru pada masa ini tidak mungkin dapat melahirkan DUN seperti itu.

Pada masa yang sama kata Sivamurugan, pakatan pembangkang boleh menggunakan masa yang ada dengan menunjukkan teladan sebagai pembangkang yang konstruktif dan sekali gus memperlihatkan keupayaan menghormati demokrasi secara berhemah, beradab dan beradat. — Utusan Malaysia Iu kata Utusan kata rakyat lain adalah...

Ini yang mahu dicapai oleh pihak pakatan, antara yang boleh meneruskan kerja untuk rakyat atau mempertahankan kuasa, rakyat menjadi bukti bagaimana mereka menjaga kuasa daripada menjaga kebajikan untuk rakyat. Nie lah masa nya , mereka ada buktikah bahawa Pakatan ingin memecahkan sedang ianya untuk membantu carapemerintahan yang swajarnya bagi mereka yang faham akan pemerintahan .itu sjare

Kita selalu dihidangkan dengan perjalanan Dun di Tv, malah kita hampir terlupa bahawa kita masih dahagakan perkara sbenar melain

Mengingat akan niezam tentang bagaimana collapse comment semasa tengah hot dari pengkarya ubah blogspot. Niezam sememang nya setia dah lama menanti tentang engineer ..heee dari blogger terutama blogspot. semasa tengah berjumpa dari blog dari sebebrang lantas cuba juga mencari bagaimana nak ubah script kepada read more collapse... tapi pihak blogger telah dulupun mencantas perubahan ini.. nampak gaya mcm indon plak aku punya posting nie.. Tetapi akhir..akhirnya tidak ketahuan bagaiman sih cara nya .. Kemungkinan scrip itu dicipta balik atau boleh diubah sahaja. Namun dari segi blogspot banyak yang ketinggalan jauh dan tidak keterlaluan boleh dikatakan tidak peka semasa keadaan saigan dari facebook.. mereka banyak engineer pakar..tetapi mendahului kepada keadaan tranformasi..kata org gomen ..transform.. media terkini... tapi kalau google ada keja kosong di Malaysia..Nizam nak mintak reply ler ...hehehehe... macam tererist sgt..

Dalam Takwim Hijrah, terdapat 12 bulan. Setiap bulan mengandungi 29 atau 30 hari, tetapi lazimnya tidak dalam turutan yang tetap. Secara tradisinya, hari pertama setiap bulan akan bermula setelah anak bulan (hilāl) kelihatan ketika matahari terbenam. Jika hilāl tidak kelihatan selepas 29 hari pada bulan tersebut, sama ada dilindungi awan atau langit di ufuk barat terlalu terang apabila bulan terbenam, maka, hari tersebut dikira sebagai hari yang ke-30. Pencerapan atau rukyah tersebut haruslah dilakukan oleh orang yang dipercayai dan dan mengakuinya dihadapan pemimpin.

Dengan pencerapan begini mendorong Muslim berkecimpung dalam bidang astronomi, yang meletakkan Islam terkehadapan dalam sains tersebut buat beberapa kurun. Amalan tradisi ini masih diikuti di negara-negara lain seperti Pakistan and Jordan. Walau bagaimanapun, kebanyakan peraturan astronomi negara Muslim membenarkan penggunaan calendar dan tidak tertakluk sentiasa kepada cara ini. Malaysia, Indonesia, dan beberapa negara yang lain memulakan bulan ketika matahari terbenam pada hari pertama ketika bulan terbenam selepas matahari terbenam. Di Mesir, bulan bermula ketika matahari terbenam pada hari pertama yang bulan terbenam sekurang-kurangnya lima minit selepas matahari terbenam.

Banyak para-para hacked smiley di Blogger. Dan banyak Nizam cuba untuk mencari jawapan yang baik untuk para blogger. Bagi mereka yang gunakan templates acuan Kaie ..adalah sesuai dan Hans am nya.

Seperti mana Nizam post dan cuba mengajak para pembaca untuk cuba sendiri hacked dari deepa. ternyata bukan lah code yang baik seperti mana jangkaan Nizam. cuba la lihat error code nya'.

Lagi pun dia deepa,menggunakan templates yang lama , (before beta).
Apakah kelemahan tutorial nya dan tutorial yang baik untuk semua template yang kunun nya dicipta nya sendiri dalam pengakuan di blognya? Ternyata banyak classic Blogger code-code nya. kategori classic adalah sesuai untuk menceritakan code ciptaan nya kunun tuh.
Ikuti siri Nizam mengkaji code orang lain untuk kebaikkan New Blogger (all Blogger Templates)

Sebelum nie Nizam banyak post dari beberapa penghacked di Blogger yang lain.
Style Nizam adalah mengcopy terlebih dahulu dan cuba bincangkan samada sesuai atau tidak untuk beberapa jenis templates di mera-rata Blogspot yang baru.

2. Lihat keberkesanan
3. Bincang dengan para pemerhati
4. Boleh guna siri hacked code tersebut ( laju, fungsi yang baik, script tidak jejas dengan new Blogger)

Have you ever experienced after searching and googling to a comprehensive website, then lose track of where you are, and what you are really looking for? I did, many times. To quote a page on the Yahoo's Design Pattern Library: "When the page displayed is within a hierarchy of pages and is not the topmost page," the reader needs some sort of "understanding of where she is in relation to the rest of the site."

The breadcrumb trail at the top of a post provides a nice solution to this problem. In a breadcrumb, you can always click on the label/category before it, or click the "Home" link to go back to the front page. More importantly, the user knows where she is, something that other navigation widgets such as the out-of-the box label, or my previous "tab hack" are not able to address (yet.)

Below are two easy steps to install the "Breadcrumbs Hack" on your blog.

Step1: Embedding Function Definition and Function Call.

Go to Template->Edit HTML, then check the Expand Widget Templates checkbox.
Look for the Blog1 widget (<b:widget id="Blog1" locked="false" title="Blog Posts" type="Blog">), then locate the main includable:

Add these function definition lines in between the closing includable in front of main and the main includable itself.

One thing to notice, if you have multiple labels, only the last one will be shown on the breadcrumb. Also, if you forget to add label to any post, the breadcrumb of that item would mysteriously disappear.

To hack this one out, my first thing was to outright stealing almost the entire code from the label section (at the end of the post,) then make a function out of it. Inside this function, originally there was a loop that goes through each possible label to write out. I didn't want to do that, but instead utilizing the if check to see if we are reaching the last label, if so then printing the label, along with its link. On the other hand, the "Home" link is very easy, since data:blog.homepageUrl is a global variable, and the current title is also available as data:post.title . Once all of the above are working, the rest is just icing on the cake, such as making a function call, or adding a css class to match with the site's design.

This is basically an addition to Hoctro's breadcrumb hack (in fact if the user has javascript disabled they'll just see Hoctro's hack in place of mine). Hoctro's hack looks something like:

This hack assumes a few things (in other words it won't work otherwise).

~~First it assumes that Settings -> Formatting -> 'Date Header Format' is set to one of the following formats:~~

~~November 28, 2006~~

~~28 November, 2006~~

~~Basically it needs to have the full month name, and the full 4 digit year at the end~~ This is no longer an issue

It also assumes that Settings -> Archiving -> 'Archive Frequency' is set to Monthly

Your posts should also have a title, ~~and the titles can't include the quote character (")~~ This is no longer an issue

As it stands now, this will also only work with English language blogs (Settings -> Formatting -> Language), although theoretically if you were to edit the english month names then it would probably work. For example a spanish blog would translate July to Julio. This is no longer an issue

First, go to Template -> 'Edit HTML' and check the box for 'Expand Widget Templates'. Now go and find the Blog1 widget. It'll start with

Then keep scrolling down to the following position as pictured below

and paste the following line as shown

Now scroll down to the end of this widget (as pictured below)

Organise your comments with numbers

What is the happiest thing that can happen to an average blogger?..8-> yes.. you guessed it right.. to get some comments for the post Imagine how thrilled you were when you got the first comment for your first post..Then came a time you started receving comments (users with names and also anonymous users) and you were trying to reply to the a certain comment and got misunderstood by a different commentor... left you wondery why :-?

How about numbering the comments so that you can say exactly to which (rather whose) comment you are refering to..Still confused with waht I am saying.. I suggest that you click on any of the posts so that the post opens in a diffrent window along with the comments displayed..See any diffrence..The comments are all numbered

Flickr Badge - Your pesonalised photo gallery

There have been times, when you are just bcak from a vactaion..or you have captured some really intresting moments in you camera , its only natural that you would like to share them with the friends online..If its one or two pics, you would include them in a post with a small description..The drawbacks being

This is advisable for min number of pics ( 1-5)
More number of photos will put more load on the browser
As you make the newer posts.. the pictures( in the specific post) are pushed down the archive
Eventually, it will dissappear from the view of the ordinary reader
This gives only limited viwership with limited number of photos

However, inorder to avoid these.. you may host your pictures in online photo-albums like Web-shots , Photobucket , Flickr, Gallery,Slide, JAlbum and then provide the link to the album at the respective sites..Yet again.. this would redirect the viewer from your page.

So, how would it make you feel..if you had a photgallery right in your sidebar..at all times..so that..the viewer sees the preview of the pictures and click on the pic that intrests him the most.

The most singular option that came to me is the Flickr Badge,You can see the gallery in action in the Right-side-bar immediatly above the Shout-box .This is simple, Easy to do, and does not involve any kind of HTML skills . Just follow the instructions carefully

INSTRUCTIONS FOR FLICKR

Signup with Flickr
Primary signup is using your yahoo ID..however you can choose your own flickr Id in the subsequent steps
After Signing up, you may upload your pictures (declare them as Public or Private and categorise them using Tags (..they are just like labels.. you name a certain bactch of pics as vacation , Birthday, nature, etc etc )This tagging comes handy while we do our gallery
Once you are satisfied with the uploaded photos , tagged them wisely we can proceed to make out Flickr Badge
You may choose to have a HTML-Badge or Flash Badge
- My personal choice is Flash badge..as i feel its compact and puts less pressure on the browser
Next you may select a certain-batch-of-Pics that you want to use in the gallery by giving the Tag name
- i.e you may create individual galleries for the various categories of picture you may have
- You just need to tag them appropriatively
The Next part is easy..You just need to give color to borders, texts etc..You may even choose not to have a backgound / border
Finally.. you just copy-paste teh code given by flicker to your sidebar HTML widget

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SLIDE

Clik on MAKE SLIDE SHOW

If you already have an account with Flickr , Myspace , Photobucket etc.. you need not upload the pics again.. you can give directly upload them to silde from your photo-sharing network

You may give various customisations like Style , Themes, Skins, Size etc..While giving the size specification..take care the Width is atleast 5px less than that of your sidebar..That way you can avoid the sidebar / post section from dropping down

Once you are satisfied with the pictures and given them appropriate captions..,Click SAVE

Change the image when the cursor moves over it

Many of you would have noticed that in certain websites,especially the ones with Advts, when you move the cursor over a certain image, it changes to another eye-catchy image.Now you too can give that kind of an effect in your blog with pictures that are chosen by you.Still a bit hazy,.. just move the cursor over the images below
NOTE:- You must have Javascript enabled in the browser

We shall be using two images to get this kind of the effect.

There shall be slight modifcations in the code depending on
1. Both Images have SAME dimentions (width & height)
2. Both Images have DIFFERENT dimentions
3. The Images LINK-TO another URL / site

So if you plan to have more than 2 sets of such images , then its necessary that you have different NAME in the < IMG NAME =
And use the corresponfing NAME only in the respective < A tag

Please referthis earlier postfor all other details. Just now I found a bug in this one. ThestripHTML function strips any HTML from the quote text and replaceswith a blank space. This is not acceptable.

What I should do is, first replace all the <br> and/or <br/> tags with a blank space and all other tags with empty space. Comments please :)

Please follow the instructions as mentioned in my QOTD widget post.

This and this. I dowanna debate on who came up with the idea first. Its obvious that you guys also got the idea from somewhere else.

Advantage
over the above ideas.Any number of quotes and no hard coding of the quotes. You can change them on the fly with some effort.

Disadvantage
Some extra network bandwidth is utilised each time it is displayed. Not too much. Depands, if 100Kb is too costly for you.

Things to do first

* Go to your blogger account settings page and enable full feed. By default, blogger gives only the first para or 256 chars. Change this settings to full feed.

* Create the quotes file with quotes in it. Quotes should be delimited by "%".e.g file contents below.

This should be enough for you to know the quotes file format.

Note that, "%" should not appear before the first quote and after the last quote. This can be handled in js but i am bit lazy now to do it and got lot other work too.

* Create a new post, go to the html view and paste the contents of the quotes file there. Publish the post. If you dowant the post to appear on front page, change the post date back to your school time.

* Go to the quotes page and copy the post id form the comments link. e.g :

http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=~~18356831~~&postID=~~358823621417987856~~

Red coloured number is blog id and blue coloured is the post id. Make a note of it.

* Add a page element to your template and add this js code where you want to quote

Wait, dont close the widget editor. Replace DDDDD with your blog id and OOOOOO with your quotes post id.

* To add flavour, add css for the quotesDiv if you want.

* Next time when you want to change the quotes, just edit the post and change the contents and republish it.

You can see it working. I followed the same steps. Still if there are any typos, let me know.

You can change the quotes whenever the whim strikes you. You can even add more quotes...just follow the layout and increase the 'Array(6)' for each quote. Note that even though it says 'quote 5', the 'array' says 6. That is because it starts with 0.

first got the idea for this after seeing Hoctro's similar hack. Unfortunately his requires that you change all your post titles to have the same prefix for related articles. I wanted one that would show related posts based on labels. I also wanted to do something with the new JSON format. I also looked at some of the already made hacks from

Beautiful Beta to figure out how to parse the JSON properly.

FYI, this probably won't work correctly if your labels use any reserved url characters, like question marks (?) or the slash character (/). I'm not url encoding anything here.

First of all, go to Template -> Edit HTML and paste the following into the page header:

Save it, and now go to Template -> Page Elements and add a new HTML/Javascript widget. I added mine underneath the main blog posts widget. You'll need to add it after (in the page) the above codebox for it to work correctly. Paste the following into it:

There's a few numbers you can tweak to show more or less related posts. In the first codebox there's a part that says i < 20 and the 3rd codebox has a part that says max-results=10. You can play around with these numbers if you want. After playing around a little these numbers seem to give a good trade-off between the speed of page-load and the number of related posts displayed.

This tutorial will show you how to use your Feedburner feed with your Blogger (out of) beta blog.

1) Feed Auto-Detection
First, go to Template -> Edit HTML and towards the top you'll notice a line that says

For your blog, you'll wanna copy & paste those lines from your blog's page source (the actual code it spits out will be different for everyone so DON'T JUST COPY & PASTE THIS!), then go ahead and edit the href's on the 2 lines that say rel="alternate" (as shown in bold) with your Feedburner feed

2) Replacing Clickable Atom Feeds
Go to Template -> Edit HTML, check the box to Expand Widget Templates and find the following

This will make that link point to your Feedburner feed for all pages except for the permalink pages which points to the per-post-comment feed for that post. Just replace the part in bold with your specific Feedburner feed.

Labels as Tabs-DropDown Menubar

So let's get going, shall we?

Step 1: The Javascript

Simply copy the following line into the head-section of your template:

Make sure that you don't insert it into the style definitions. Of course you can also replace the link if you decide to upload this file to another host.

Step 2: The CSS-definitions

Nowwe will define the look of the menubar, so click on your Edit HTML-taband go to your style section. Depending on the desired color of yourbar, you will have to copy one of the following definitions:

chromestyle.css - silver
chromestyle2.css -blue
chromestyle3.css - green
chromestyle4.css - red

Simply paste the code into the stylesheet, before the
]]></b:skin>

Step 3: Positioning the menubar

Okay,now we should be able to insert the last bits of our code to place themenubar. So let's talk about the possibilities we have: theoretically,we could put the bar everywhere, but I want to show you two ideas ofinserting the menubar:

a) below the header, over the rest of your content:

Thisis the main idea behind the concept, making it to one of the mostimportant elements on yoursite. Search for the end of the header-section and the beginning of your content-wrapper,this is the place where the following code goes in:

Aninteresting approach: replacing the navbar with your own, personalmenubar.It's not that difficult. You will have to add this line of code into your stylesheet:

}

Then you will have to search the opening body-tag and paste the code from step 3.a there.

This is it. We will customize the contents of the menubar in the next step.

Step 4: Filling the menubar with your widgets

Asyou can see, the menubar has now five elements in it: Home and Content1-4. Rename the contents to your preferences. You can also add otherlinks or more content-elements (these will be our dropdown-menus) byadding new lines to the chromestyle-div.
Decide which widgets youwant in your menubar. I assume that feed-links, blogrolls, categorylinks, etc. are ideal candidates. In order to get a widget in there, goto its code and add the bold lines of code in there:

Of course, the ID 'dropmenu1' should only be used once. You then have to change the number to dropmenu2, dropmenu3, etc.
Don't forget to delete the following line out of all widgets you put into your menubar, otherwise the layout won't look good:

Itshould work fine with plain linklists and blogrolls, but you will facesome sort of strange layout, e.g. when you want to display yourcategories up there. For this reason I have prepared code that shouldfit your desires:

a) Categories in the Menubar:

As far asI can tell, the menubar only shows one link in a line. So it getsscrewed when you simplay put up a category-widget, because the labelcount goes in an extra line. My workaround is to put the label countinside the link:

I guess I am not the only one using PurpleMoggy's label feed-solution. If you try to pull that up to the menubar, you will soon face the problem
that every feed icongoes in an extra line. For this reason I've put up a customized labelwidget that offers label-feeds and standard post/comment-feeds as well:

to change the look or add new elements to the menubar.
