Ok, here is something you need to know: Your own photo makes you appear more attractive than the male model photo, BUT I bet the male model photos are better taken. I have attractive guy friends that do NOT choose the best photos for themselves when posting them on the profile. I fear you could be in a similar situation. You are tan, with straight teeth, and an athletic physique. The other guy looks kind of douchey (sorry). So, don't feel ugly! :)

Let's be realistic here. You are talented at statistics, but look further into the psychology of it all. It's human nature, and there is enormous pressure due to our society that "looks" are of significant importance. After all, this is a person you will potential become intimate with, not just a buddy to hang out with. Everyone has a different perspective of what good-looking is and what it means to them. Those expectations vary by location, outside influence, type of relationship desired and a hundred other variables. For instance, you look about 8 years younger than the other guy and are attracting a much different demographic, perhaps a younger demographic that doesn't use Match as much at this point in their lives. I'm also really curious what you wrote on your profile, compared to what you wrote for him. I think you may be underestimating the significance of that data... I'm just saying there is a lot more to it than just picking a model's picture and judging that females are shallow. I'm sure your luck will change. You are a nice looking guy and obviously intelligent, and the "right" girl will appreciate both of those things equally.

DUDE. I'm wondering why on earth anybody would say anything like that. The work you did in this post is absolutely FABULOUS. As English is not my first language, I didn't understand quiiiiiiite well as it all works at the first sight, but I'm all fascinated with. I've been looking for a way to do something EXACTLY like this only with CSS3, but everything I've ever tried and found used also JS. Did you create the Event Label in Google Analytics or it was done so automatically? I'm not sure how the code communicates with Google Analytics, unless the Google Analytics code picks on on this script automatically and then generates a report?
