CVS finally put their Christmas Clearance to 75% off! I found a few fun things that I will be able to use without them being labeled as Christmas! (I have a horrible picture below) Here is what I found:

When I got my ads for the grocery stores I saw that Smtih's was having a P&G buy 4 get $4 off sale. In the ad I didn't see much and it wasn't until I read that there have been a lot of P&G items that were "unadvertised." I decided to grab my coupons and go take a look to see what I could grab. Here is what I saw:

Old Spice Body wash. Regular price $3.49 each, buy 4 get $1 off each one. Brings it down to $2.49 each. Used the coupon for $2/1 in the January P&G and get each body wash for $0.49!! That is a great price if you can't find a deal to get them for free!
I have a love affair with make up! I even passed it on to my 3 year old who will see make up and squeal, "MAKE UP!!!" in the store. Covergirl regular price $2.55 buy 4 and get $1 off each one bringing the price to $1.55 each. Then use a covergirl coupon for $2.50/2 and pay $0.60 for 2! LOVE IT!

They have Herbal Essence regular price $2.79 buy 4 get $1 off each one. Makes each bottle $1.79 and then there is a $1/1 coupon in the January P&G brings the price down to $0.79 each. Now I didn't buy any of those because HE usually goes on sale for free,but if you like it and you have the coupons it's not a terrible price!

I also saw Old Spice deodorant on sale for $1.99 buy 4 get $1 off each. Make them $0.99 each. There is also a coupon for $1/2 in the January P&G. Brings them down to $0.49 each! Great price if you can't get them for free!

So since you can only use 4 like coupons per transaction. I did 4 transactions. For each transaction I paid $4.75 but I got 4 Body washes, 4 deodorants and 4 eyeshadows. That's like $0.40 per item!

Albertsons 1/6 - Cereal Deal

I can't remember the last time I went shopping at Albertsons. I was on the lookout for a good cereal deal and the stars aligned with Alberstons...kind of.

We have 1 box of shredded wheat cereal after my husband had donated my stock pile of cereal to a family in need over Christmas break. After that we were the family in need...of cereal.

I was reading through my ads and could not find a stock up price for cereal. My stock up price on cereal is $1 or less. The closest I saw was $2.49, but when you buy a combo of 10 items cereal went down to $1.99 a box but that is still WAY to high a price to pay for cereal. Then all the sudden SWAGBUCKS saves the day with coupons!

They had $0.75/1 coupons that brought the cereal to $1.24 a box. Still not my perfect price, but they also gave me $2.50 in box tops for education I could give to my daughters school, so that made it a little easier to buy. Here is everything I bought:

Total AFTER coupons = $12.24 and then $2.50 instant Box tops and $2.50 in attached Box tops! That is a savings of 50% Which is a realistic coupon savings shopping trip.

So, like I said I haven't been to Alberston's in Forever and hadn't participated in their game of savings they are having. After my transaction I received some game pieces and then the person that had been in front of me had given me theirs and they had a lot! So I also grabbed a game board and tried my luck.

I didn't win anything spectacular. I won the CHANCE of winning a $1,000 shopping card IF I send in an index card with my name and stuff and spend the cost of a stamp on a CHANCE of winning. That was pretty disappointing but I will give it a whirl. Wish me luck!

I heard that there were great clearance finds at Walgreens this week, but I guess by the time I got there it was too late. I found NOTHING! I did get a chance to chat with one of my favorite cashiers so it wasn't a total waste. Here is what I picked up:

Box of 50 Candy Canes on clearance. Original price $4.00 then marked 75% off = $1.00

Bio "Something" Conditioner Original price $3.99 marked down to $0.50

Total OOP $1.50

* I didn't NEED the candy canes but I want to try to make some white chocolate peppermint popcorn :0)

Target Christmas Clearance was down to 70% off at Target. 70% is the new 75%, I think they have done away with 75% off...I also hit the dollar spot that was 70% off as well. I found lots of cute deals to snag.

Cars Stickers, Books, and Dry erase board $0.30 each!

Various Children Socks $0.30 each!I had to stock up on these. We never have enough socks?

Tissue Paper that doesn't seem Christmasy $0.60 each

Gift Tags $0.30 each

Hair Accessories $0.60 each.

Not too shabby, and it was fun doing some retail therapy!

p.s. Did you know that if you have a Starbucks in your Target you can use the Target gift cards to pay for Starbucks?? I JUST found that out!

I have been home sick not being able to do any shopping, but I knew there were some coupons ready to expire that I needed to redeem. Luckily my husband has been couponing with me enough times he knows how to get the deals I needed with ease. I had a John Frieda coupon that was going to expire today that I wanted to use since it was for a free hair dye! While my husband was at Walmart getting his battery changed out he did a little bit of shopping for me. Here is what I got...I mean he got:

I have a few posts that I have written about swagbucks that you can go through when you get a chance.

There was a mid-week sale that started on Wednesday at Walgreens. I knew that there were 2 free after RR this week and then the Revlon popped up Wednesday making everything free or

nearly free. I am a sucker for free nail polish!

First I bought the SalonPas Patch for $1 (get back $1RR) and the Goody Hair Bands $2 (get back $2) I paid $3 plus tax out of pocket and got back $3 in RR = FREE

Then I bought 1 Revlon Nail polish $3.99 used $1/1 coupon from Beauty Booklet = $2.99 I also bought a Frosty Sack for $0.13 as a filler. I paid with my $2 and $1 RR from the first transaction and $0.12 plus tax out of pocket and got back a $3 RR!

Then I did it over and over! It's a great deal and the only coupon I needed was the Walgreens one that you can use over and over again!

Baby Alive Doll on clearance for $9.98 and qualified for a $5 gift card when you buy one!! This is what popped up when I price checked it!
Starbucks Coffee $7.99 each buy 3 get a $5 gift card. I bought 6 used (3) $3/2 coupons from the 12/5 SS and got back (2) $5 gift cards!

Bounce Dryer Bars $2.99 each and I used a $2/1 coupon found at my Vets office = $0.99 each!!!

I also used a Target coupon where if you spend $50 before coupons you get a $10 gift card!!

So Before coupons I spent:

$9.98 Doll

$47.94 Coffee

$11.96 Bounce Dryer Bars

Total $69.88

After coupons I spent: $52.88 then I paid with $15 in previous gift cards and I got back $25 in gift cards on top of that! So really I spent $12.88 on everything!!

I was planning on stocking up on the register rewards for this weeks sales but the cashier at my favorite Walgreens was new and I could tell she was having a panic attack and then she messed up my register rewards because she was so disorganized and had a big mess happening so I left without doing all my transactions.

Again using transaction 1 RR to pay for transaction 2 and back and forth. You have to beware that there the register reward for the foot cream and the muscle rub is the same. So if you use one to pay for the other the register reward WON'T print!!

Another fun trip on Thanksgiving Day was CVS! Not only did they have pretty much everything I wanted, but my favorite cashiers were working and we all shared extra coupons we had!

I had a BLAST at Walgreens on Thanksgiving Day! I almost got everything I wanted...my shopping was cut short because my husband informed me at last minute he wanted to get a workout in before the gym closed. I wasn't going to take my toddler with me so I just grabbed what I could and got home as fast as I could.

They had some super awesome deals and then some that seamed awesome but weren't. I was there first thing to grab my Happy Nappers that were on sale buy one get one FREE!! The ad said that the first 130 "customers" got a free movie rental from Redbox. It was really random transactions that got the Redbox code to print. Then the redbox codes expired THAT day. I didn't have time to redeem and watch 15 Redbox movies so those pretty much went to waste which was a bummer...

I pretty much just took register rewards from one transaction to pay for another and back and forth a bunch of times. I don't drink, but the wine was a great register reward and ended up helping pay for other things I was buying so now I have to find a home for that...any takers? LOL!

I also went back the next day to get the revlon lipstick that was on clearance, had coupons, and printed a register reward! There were only 2 left though...
My favorite cashier was nice enough to order those Happy Nappers and have them ready for me when I got there. I took all my receipts and did the survey on the bottom to hopefully help her win a $25 gift card for a contest they are having for the employees.

Well maybe... I was reading online that there is a coupon floating around for ACE Hardware that is 50% off one item. I read that if you take that to Lowe's or Home Depot and they accept competitors coupons you MAY be able to purchase a Christmas Tree for 50% off?! I don't know if I will try it but if you do and it works let us know. I found the coupon while doing my NOSO offer for Swagbucks!

So I was able to pop into Walgreens to grab the Advil deal I told you about a day or two ago! Here is what I got:

I had $2/1 coupons from the doctors office and then there is a $2/1 Coupon from the Walgreens baby coupon book (5520) if you don't have a booklet and your cashier is super friendly you can ask them to type the coupon in. Since it's a Walgreens store coupon they don't need to physically have it in their hands to be able to use it! Then on top of that great deal I also got back $3 in Register Rewards! YAY! None of these expire until 2014! So if they don't get used I can donate them!

So I heard about a really awesome deal on Aveeno Lotions and Soaps. This is great because my daughter has eczema and her hands are so red and dry that I needed to stock up on good lotion and soap for her. I had tons of coupons and Target had a great stock of items so I went to town on this deal!

We have had a pretty tough year (to put it very lightly) with having my daughter in and out of the hospital and Dr. Offices. Our last visit to the pediatrician I noticed an area covered in coupons. I asked the nurse if that has always been there. I have been going there for 3+ years and never noticed coupons laid out on a table before, and me being me, I would notice something like that. The nurse said that I could help myself to any and as many as I wanted. When I took two of each she said if I wanted more to take more. I said that I would leave enough for everyone, then she went and gave me piles and piles of coupons and told me to take them! Sweet! I got coupons for free bottle liners ($6.99 value!) Luberiderm Lotion, Target booklets filled with Target coupons that I can stack with manufacture coupons and then....ADVIL coupons!

Why was I so excited about Advil coupons?! Well Walgreens has a register reward for Advil this week! WOW! I am going to head to Walgreens this week to STOCK UP! Usually medicine will last for at least a year or two!

I am probably going to head on on Wednesday to check out how they plan on setting up for Black Friday and then while I am there do a few Advil transactions!

This week is going to be an awesome for shopping!!

CVS Black Friday Deals!!

One week until the big event. I am starting to plan now and will hopefully have everything figured out before it's time. CVS has TONS of free after ECB items. In my opinion CVS will have way better things then Walgreens, BUT with CVS there are limits and Walgreens there are NOT! So last week I rolled over my register rewards from the week before onto Blistex. This week I took the register rewards from the Blistex and rolled them onto the deals this week at Walgreens. I am all set for Black Friday at Walgreens!! Here is what I got:

I was looking high and low for coupons to go along with the deals. I guess there was an Estroven coupon a while back that is no longer available.

Then for the AZO there is a coupon on their facebook page, but I felt odd "becoming a fan or liking" their page and it showing up on my wall. When I was telling my husband about it he laughed at being a fan or liking feminine itch. Glad I can still make him laugh...

My transaction went like this:

Estroven $9.99

Jello $0.20 w/ad

Total = $10.99 and I paid with (5) $2 RR and $0.99 OOP and got back $10 in RR that expire in 2 weeks!

Same thing with the AZO. Really easy rolling!

Just a quick trip to CVS. I wanted to get the Super Cheap paper towels to donate to my kids classroom. While there I decided to turn $3 into $10...

Here are the deals:

Hallmark Cards. Buy 3 get $3.00 back in ECBs. I bought 3 of the $0.99 cards = YAY! Free Cards!
CVS paper Towels $3.99 ($0.50 a roll!)
Schick deal buy $20 worth of Schick get $10 in ECBs back. I used 2 $5/1 Schick coupons from Swagbucks (NLA) and a $0.55/1 Edge coupon. Subtotal $20.17 - coupons = $9.62 I paid with $6.00 in ECBs = $3.62 OOP and got back $10.00 in ECBs.

I am hoarding my ECBs to get ready for the AWESOME black friday deals CVS will be having! I can't wait!

OH!!! And remember all those Covergirls I bought last week? Well I got beauty club bucks for doing that deal on top of the free gift cards I got!!! I ended up getting $15 in ECBs for that! YAY!!!!!
