This is a travel group (of one) that grew out of a travel site so, yes, I will be doing things in the real world. I have <a href="http://upcoming.yahoo.com/user/1160418/" rel="nofollow">a page on Upcoming</a> that will be closely tied to this group, on which I'll mention some events that I heard about and am planning to attend. Travel should be a chance to meet people, I think, and Yahoo's Upcoming service is one that I think could help with that, if people are open to trying it.
