Deekline; DJ, producer, mega hot remixer and founder of Rat Records, Hardcore Beats, Cut & Run, Hot Cakes, Booty Breaks, and Sludge, has come along way since his smash hit "Don't Smoke The Reefer" back in 1998. His unique and ground breaking sound blows up parties the world over, sending shockwaves through the industry leaving others inspired and following in his footsteps.

His single with Ed Solo and Darrison ‘Touch Your Toes’ was signed to Norman Cook’s ‘Skint’ label and went on to full release in the summer of 2006. Ed's first release was "125th Street" and "The Danger" , co produced with label boss Dave Stone, the pair went under the name "Click and Cycle" and the tune became the second biggest seller on Emotive records. Within Break's Ed has collaborated with people such as Deekline (who he runs Hotcakes with) , Darrison, Skool of Thought as well as mixing down tunes for Freq Nasty, Splitloop and other big names in the breaks scene. Recently Ed has been making waves in the dubstep scene with the anthemic "Age of dub" which is out on a new label he has set up with Deekline called "Sludge". He is also incorporating dubstep into his DJ sets.

Goldie vs. Commix - Envious/Justified

Yep… you heard right. Goldie has teamed up with Cambridge’s finest to unleash this monster! "Envious" is definitely a dancefloor destroyer of the highest order. Commix take control of the flip, "Justified" is a headz-down roller with some moody vocal samples & a bassline that can only be described as deeeeeep! We’ve still got a few promos of this bad-boy in the HeadzStore, but we’re anticipating them selling out pretty fast, so don’t sleep on it!

Spectrasoul - 4 Points/Justified

Promos of this have sold out already, so hold tight for the full release on the 2nd of November. This is Spectrasoul’s debut release for Metalheadz & it doesn’t disappoint! "4 Points" features the vocal stylings of Kenny Notts is one for all the junglists out there. "Guardian" manages to be smooth and soulful, but a deadly roller nonetheless.

We’re also releasing a "15 Years of Metalheadz" compilation before the year is out, so watch this space!

One more release that’ll be touching down later in the year is the "Nothing Ventured : Nothing Gained" EP from Jubei. We’ve uploaded tracks to the Metalheadz myspace so that you can check it in advance & we think you’ll agree that its sounding wicked!
