It’s a very different reporting beast to what Google Analytics was previously.

First thing I noticed. Where has the bounce rate gone????

GA4 now hides it in favour of taking a more positive approach and displaying the Engagement Rate

If you want to see the bounce rate to your reports you need to show it. But do you really? Not really.

Here’s how to do it if you must see it – https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/12195621?hl=en

The Engagement rate is purely the opposite of the Bounce rate

Netrospect has been very quite this year with communication. My new year resolution is to get back to keeping in constant contact so you know what’s going on with Netrospect and running an online business. The project development side of the business was much higher this year and referrals still stimulate 80% of the new clients that come to Netrospect, for both web hosting and project related work.

As most long time Netrospect members would know, there is always a special Christmas video around this time of the year.

This year my family has undertaken to build on our Christmas light display this is our 3rd year syncing lights to music. It brings the whole family together to help build something that gives enjoyment not only to us but the community around us.

There are 4,200 LED lights across 42 channels (sets of lights) and were programmed to one of our favourite Christmas songs (and movies), “Mr Grinch” – by the Whirling Dervishes. Enjoy.

Here is my first book that I have published. It will be on sale and FREE for 5 days in the lead up to Christmas from 20/12/2012 until 25/12/2012, so grab a copy while you can. This book took me just 15 minutes to fill out the form on Amazon and 4 hours before it was approved and live for sale. Ok so I had the book already written but this should show you that the publishing part of a book is now a no brainer.
