Awwww, what a nice husband, bringer of the soup. I hope you feel better soon – it is SO IMPOSSIBLE to get over an illness when you’ve got kids. What would normally take 48 hours of lying on the couch instead takes two weeks of dragging yourself around trying to keep things from falling apart.

For the most part, that’s what we do, but knowing how quickly things escalate we try to but the kibosh on anything involving hands and other peoples’ bodies. It is funny to watch them figure out ways around our rules. Funny now, not so much when they are older ;o)

It never ends well, but you have to let them enjoy that moment. If something bad happens afterward (which always does), then they’ll hopefully learn from their mistake and move onto something ever more silly. Part of being a kid.

So glad that you got there in time & that everything is getting better now. This is a definate message to take it easy for awhile and not overdo anything.

Wow- that CAT scan is not one I’d heard of before. I had my head scanned and it was just a big wheel turning around my head that made me dizzy. Definately no invasive water cleansing stuff going on. Yuck. Sorry you had to go through that one, but at least it’ll add to your experiences for your writing.
