Create tables in Blog without free or white space

Hi, here I am giving you how to create tables, because it is difficult to the new people to understand and create tables in blog post. When you create table in post area, you will get some white space between your table and content (don’t fear by seeing that white space in your post, this is the problem which everyone face while creating table, here I am explaining you to remove that white space).

Creating tables in Blog can be done in 2 ways.

Creating Tables in Layouts
Creating Tables in Draft.blogger.com

Creating Tables in Layouts:

If you choose this one (means you’re using layouts and not switched to new Draft blogger), follow these two steps.

Create your table (forgetting whitespace for some time) with all your requirements whatever you have to do for them, like adding data, shaping, colors, borders, etc and finalize your table is finished and no need to make any changes.
Once creation of your table is complete then remove all spaces from your table. That is while creating table you may use enter button in your keyboard, this each press of enter key will create one new line before the table and creates more white space. If you found more white space above your table means you have used space bar and enter key in your keyboard for many times.

For example:

Here I am creating table with three row and three columns:

A - If I enter table code like this in Edit HTML:

So what you have to do is create table first and remove space between the codes from html, then whitespace will be removed before the table in post area.

This problem will not come when you add a widget to page elements.

Creating Tables in Draft.blogger.com:

If you choose this one just log into draft.blogget.com, then make it your default dashboard, then all table problems are solved and not that much adjustment are required in your table. New draft blogger will support all raw html and java code in post area.

But the problem only is you will not get proper preview for post when we create table, you can’t enter into “compose mode”, and finally you should save your post mannually, otherwise there may be chanses of getting errors and web will close.

So, you have to decide which one should be followed.

Adding & Removing Authors and Members to Blog

To add an author or a member to your blog do this:

Log in to your blog,
In your Dashboard click on "Settings" button, for which blog you want to add (if you have more than one blog).
Now it will open Settings tab
Here in this tab, you can find "Permissions" section at right side, click on this.
In this "Permissions" there is a blue colored button "ADD AUTHORS", click on this.
Now you will get "invite more people…." box, in this type the email address of the persons whom you want to add as an authors.
Then click on "INVITE" button.

Now you have added a person to your blog as an Author and the person to whom you have invited he will get an invitation in his mail box like "You have been invited to contribute to XXXX blog". Here he will get one link like this: "To contribute to this blog, visit: http:// www. blogger .com/i.g?invite ID=658469528475&blog ID=69845752684555 "

He need to click on this link. When he clicks on this he will be taken to new window with "XXXX has invited you to contribute to the blog".

Now he should enter his email id and password, then has to click on "Accept invitation" button. (if he don’t have Google account need to create one)

Now he will be taken to "Sign up for Blogger" window, here 1. enter display name and 2. put check mark for "Acceptance for Terms", now click on "Continue".

Now he enters in to his Dashboard. Here he can post to blog or can remove him self from the blog. With this one person additon and acceptance is finished.

Giving Admin privileges to authors:

To give Admin privileges to an author do this:

Log in to your blog,
In your Dashboard click on "Settings" button, of a blog for which author is related (if you have more than one blog). Now it will opens 'Settings' tab
Here in this tab, go to "Permissions" section at right side, click on this.
Here click on the "grant admin privileges" blue colored link,
You will get popup box saying "Grant admin privileges", click on this red button.

Now you had given Admin privileges to an existing author. To do this author should exist in your blog, otherwise add him first as an author, then do this.

Revoke Admin privileges(Cancelling admin privileges):

To cancel admin privileges to an existing Administrator:

Just go to the "permissions" section (if you dont get it follow 1 to 3 steps in previous section),
here click on "revoke admin privileges" link,
you will get popup with "REVOKE ADMIN PRIVILEGES" red color button, just click on that.

Now admin privileges for a person had been removed.

Removing a person permanently (Author or Admin) from the blog:

In the same "permissions" section click on "remove" link on right side of a persons name.
You will get conformation box, here clink on "remove"

He will be permanently removed from the blog.

Precautions in using New or Third party templates for blogger

Hi friends,

All of us very interested to use new templates those are good at look and appearance. But when you are using these templates from outside sources it is very important to you to take some precautions. This is especially to the new bloggers and those are non-technical and not good at html language. If you you’re a member of AdSence then it is very important to you. Because, the main reason for this is, one resent issue which is faced by one of my friend.

What happened is (main issue) he had downloaded one good template from one website and uploaded to blogger. Template is very good and nice looking. But what happened is he keeps his AdSence ads in 3 fixed locations every time. There is one ad which is displaying just bottom of post area. When he sees it in layout elements there is no widget with AdSence code. He knows that he is using only his two ads on blog and he never kept any add in the blogs post area. One of his ads is not displaying just it is blank but there are totally 3 ads are there on the blog. He surprised for the add appearing at the bottom of post, and thought that it may be the new feature of blogger. On one day he found that one of his ads is displaying inactive status in his AdSence account.

After few days, in general discussion his friend asked him when he had changed his blog address and themes of posts. That friend had subscribed to this blog but getting post etc form the provider of template. This we came to know that after big investigation.

Finally we concluded that these all are happening from the new template, which he is using. From this issue we realized new things. From that I like to share some precautions to use new templates with all of you and want to give few tips.

Here I am giving few issues and precautions to use new free templates’ in our blog, provided by third parties.

The problems which we face and need to check before or after uploading new template are:

1. AdSence placements: Template provider will show some example placements to demonstrate how to keep and where to keep your ads, by incorporating their ads.

2. Search box code: They will put search box with their own code as an example in a fixed location by adding it to the body of blog or creating special wrapper for that, instead of keeping search box code in Widget or Gadget.

3. Subscription box or link code: For this also they will keep a place using their own code as an example especially in header area or in some place where visitor can look at it to subscribe easily to your blog.

4. Example Links provided by template creator in template code: Template creator use their own links in Menu bar or Navigation menu (if they are include in template) or some other area, to show as an example for us.

This free stuff available is very good and helping us to use new template in proper manner. Many template providers they will give clear instruction to use their template and how to modify them according to our requirements. But many cases we are unable to do all of them, which lead to some bad results for us.

Even after all these instructions we have to check these things after using template to our blog.

What to do for these things? See bellow:

Step-1:

Before going to use new template first complete this points.

Please take backup copy of your old template (For more instructions see this)
Take a copy of all your Gadgets or Widgets code one by one separately in to a Notepad or somewhere else and save it in safe place. Use this widgets code again to replace in new template after finishing updating procedure. All your posts will come automatically in new template and not require any backup.
3.After saving a copy of all your widgets code remove all of them from your old template (That means there should not be any widget in your old template while uploading new one). This is useful to simplify the process of replacing your old template with new template, and helps you to reduce your xml errors while uploading new template. If you remove all widgets from old one it is very easy for you to recognize those are widgets provided by your template creator and can be removed easily from your blog, otherwise your widgets will mix with template providers widgets and makes confusion as well as creates errors at saving template.

Step-2:

Now upload your new template to your blog (For more instructions see this)

Step-3:

Once you finished your blog uploading process, remove all widgets from your new template those are provided by template creator.

Step-4:

Now start considering our issues.

Issue-1: Check is there any Ads or AdSence code is displaying in your template in any widgets are in any location (For these entire better use preview button). If any ads are there in template even after removing widgets, verify where they are there and remove them or replace their code with your AdSence code, because these ads are not your own, they came form template owner. (For AdSence they will not see that code is your or some others just they will see how many ads are there in the page). If you didn’t remove them from your template you need to share your money with someone and you will becomes a free host of others business.

a. Sometimes these ads will be in fixed location, like in the bottom of your post or at the top of your post or may be in header or footer locations. These will not go even you remove widgets. These places should be replaced by your ads code.

b. For finding these location see in “edit html” tab and find where they are and remove them.

c. If you unable to find even in template code then they will be in side of your template, for that you have to put check mark for “Expand widget template”, now search for the code and replace it with your own.
d.Finally decide that there is no AdSence code other than your or no other ads in your template.

Issue-2: Now work for search box in your template. You had removed all widgets from your new template so if any search box code provided by your template creator it will go. If it is kept on fixed location in body, it will be displayed even there is no widget. For this they may create a table and puts code in that or creates separate wrapper for that and keeps in some place in the body. So find it in edit html tab and replace it with your search code.

Search box code also provided by AdSence, so if you didn’t replace it with your search code your visitors are not searching in your search box, just they are using or searching in template owners search box even if they are searching on your blog.

Issue -3: Now take a look at Subscription box or link: many cases this subscription box will be at the top of page and inside of header. For this also there may be a table or separate wrapper will be created and kept in particular lactation. If there is a menu bar in your template one of the links may be subscription link or it may be in sidebars as a badge or as a link. So first find where it is. If it is included in widget you had removed it in your first step (because you had deleted all widgets provided by new template), if it is not in widget then they will be in your blog at somewhere else. If you find it then replace it by your own link or if you don’t want it make it as dummy or delete it. If there is no link for subscription, then there is no problem at all.

If you miss to replace or remove this subscription link, your blog visitors will get subscription to the template creator’s website or blog. Simply you’re sending and making your visitors as subscribers of others.

Issue-4: Template creator will provide few example links for external websites or their own website to show you how it will work and links to other pages of your blog or outside websites. Their main idea is to demonstrate how it will work. This links will come especially when there is a menu bar or navigation menu is there in your template. So all these links should be replaced and modified by you to suit your needs and should lead to one of your blogs page or the destination decided by you. If any unwanted links are there remove them.

If you didn’t remove these links, your visitors may click on them and will leave your blog and lands on other website. That means you’re sending your traffic to others without knowing to you.

So remove all links in your new template which is not relevant to you and provided as demonstration.

(Most of the cases there may be information and links relating to the template creators and details of their website address etc. at the bottom of your blog template, (like The template created by XXX and available more for free distribution etc.) This is the information that they are the original creators or owners of that template and it is courtesy to keep the information of template owner, because they provided it for us at free of cost. This may be the small favor which can be done for them.)

Step-5:

Now you had completed all checks or taken precautions which will not lose your money or your fame for free to others.

Step-6:

Now add all your widgets or gadgets or your template wherever you need them and finish your work relating to new template.

Your safety work is completed now towards your blog (relating to these issues only). Now just enjoy your new template, without any worries. This is the small effort and care which we can take in changing our new template.

If there are any unsolved issues in new template, even after taking all these precautions you can contact the provider of your template. If you get response from them ok, otherwise better not to use that template, just go for another one or be with your old one which is gold.

Adding HTML or Java script to the Blog template - Solving XML errors

When you will get some html code or java script from third parties, you need to add it to the blogs template like in head section or body section. This code may be relating to conformation for search engines or may be some other.

You can add this code in two ways:

1. Adding this code in widget, instead of template (if it is not very important): add your html code in html widget. And see your html functionality is working or not. If it is working, then there is no problem, and you will not get any xml errors. For this choose footer section to add widget, because the widget which you are adding is jus html or java functionality related and will not display anything in the page, so better to add at bottom of page.

2. If it is important code like Google webmaster tool conformation tag, etc, you need to add it in the blog template. Here when you add you will get xml errors.

To solve these just do in this way

For example: your code is like this

<meta content='46n9XCzgejre0Fiy8J2dfumfklkf=' name='verify-v1'>

In this case you will get error for not closing this with closing tag.
To close this just put “/” (slash) before “>” (greater than symbol) and preview or save your template.

After this adjustment code will looks like this:

<meta content='46n9XCzgejre0Fiy8J2dfumfklkf=' name='verify-v1' />

The change is just you have to add ' / ' before > simbol.

Even you’re unable to clear your errors then do in this way:

Just replace all these 3 symbols < > “ with their values, i.e.,

‘<’ with ‘ < ’ means < is equal to <

‘>’ with ‘ > ’ means > is equal to >

“ with ' " ' means “ is equal to "

For opening and closing Quotation marks value is same.

Now save your template. But, please take care while doing this, because if you do small mistake it will not work properly. Before doing this better keep one copy of original code separately.

Adding New Template to the Blogger

Hi friends,

Generally we are interested in stylish blog templates. These are available for free from many websites. We can download these templates and upload to our blog. Sometimes we may add some html code to the blogger template for specific purpose.

So the main thing is when we try to upload these 3rd party templates, or adding some html code to the Blogger we may get XML errors, that is they are not properly parsed or tags are not closed properly, etc.

To avoid all these errors you need to take simple care while you downloading the template from the websites or adding html code. For that follow these steps and tips.

Before going to do these, please take a back up copy of your existing template code.

A. To take a backup copy follows these steps:

1. Log into your blog this will take to your blog ‘dashboard’

2. Here click on ‘layout’
3. Now it will open layout tab, click on “Edit HTML”
4. Here you will find a blue colored link “Download Full Template”, click on this link to get your template code

5. Save this file in the safe place. After this better take another copy in Notepad format for this follow next step

6. Here in this ‘Edit HTML’ there is a check box with name “Expand Widget Templates”, put check mark for this

7. Now copy the whole code and paste in Notepad. (You can use this to get full data of widgets also if previous one fails)

8. Apart from this take a copy of all your widgets code to Notepad and save it to your computer disk. This can be like search box code or AdSence code or any other widgets code if they are added earlier to your template by you. Because, you will lose these widgets data and codes after upload new template to your blog.

Now you had done safety things for your template. So proceed to the next section.

B. For uploading new template:

Template providers will give a link to download the template which we want. When you click this link it will open a popup and asks you to save, if you save it, the file will be saved to your computers disk or it will open in another window in the form of XML file.

When it is saved to your disk (may be zipped file) check the file, is it in the form of Notepad or XML? XML file will looks like this:

If it is opened in the another window as XML file, from your browser in ‘File’ menu click ‘save as’ option and (give the name for file if requires) select format of file as XML or put file extension as .xml, then save the file to your disk.

a) If the file is Notepad do like this to upload new template:

1. Copy the total code from that new template file (Notepad file) which you had downloaded

2. Now go to your blogs ‘dashboard’

3. Here click on ‘layout’

4. In layout tab, click on “Edit HTML”

5. Here in this ‘Edit HTML’ there is a check box with name “Expand Widget Templates”, put check mark for this

6. Now Paste the code which you had copied from Notepad, in edit template place. (For this you can press ‘Ctrl +A’, then press ‘Ctrl+V’). Please check that old code should not be there, if some old code is left it will create new errors. That means you have to replace your existing template code with new template code.

7. Click on “Preview” button to confirm no errors are there in the code. If you don’t have any errors you will get preview of your template, otherwise you will get errors. If errors occurred, do the same steps again by coping properly the new template code. If no errors are there go to next step.

8. Now click on “save template” button. Here you may be asked to delete some widgets content. That means here it will save any existing widgets from new template and deletes widgets and their content which you had added to your old template. (For this purpose I had suggested you to take a copy of widgets, so that you can add them again back to your new template.)

Now template uploading is complete.

b) If the file is in XML format do like this to upload new template:

1. Go to your blog ‘dashboard’

2. Here click on ‘layout’

3. In layout tab, and click on “Edit HTML”

4. Here there are 2 push buttons, “Browse” and “Upload”. Click on the browse button

5. Now browse to the place where you had saved your new template XML file and select it, then click open

6. Now click on “upload” button

7. Now you will get the message “Your changes have been saved. View Blog”.

8. Now click on ‘view blog’ it will show your blog.

9. Once it is ok, click on “Save template” button. If any old widgets are there it will ask you to confirm to delete them and save new template, so click confirm, this may happen in step 7 also.

Now template uploading is complete.

Now you did your work. So see your template and enjoy it.

New Error messages while saving template:

Hi there is a new problem happening since few days for many blogger s at the time of adding new template. To resolve this i will suggest you one workaround for the time being, but it is some what technical:

1. Before adding new template take the copy of all your Gadgets code into Notepad and keep it safe (so that u can add all your gadgets code again to u r new template).

2. After taking the gadgets code delete all the gadgets from the template and save it. It will look like as below:

3. Now upload your new template (for this follow the above procedure). select the Preview and see if is there any errors, if no error then save the template. At this time it may ask you to confirm the existing widgets to be deleted (these widgets are from new template), so confirm the message and save.

If u get same error even after doing this, then u need to remove gadgets in new template provided by template designer. then it will work. To delete Gadgets in the new template follow as bellow (it worked for many but for you just experiment..)

Background:
We use this to display particular color or image as a background of web page or text or particular element like main wrapper or sidebar wrapper.

The values for this are:

background:#006699;
background:$bgcolor;
background: #ffffff url("here you need to give the url of image");
background: $bodybgcolor url("here you need to give the url of image");
background: $ bodybgcolor url("here you need to give the url of image") repeat-x;
background: $ bodybgcolor url("here you need to give the url of image") repeat-y;
background: $ bodybgcolor url("here you need to give the url of image") repeat-x top right;
background: $ bodybgcolor url("here you need to give the url of image") repeat-x bottom right;

*instead of #006699 you can use $bgcolor if you have defined it in variables.

Now we see when each of this is useful for us:
background:#006699; (this is for displaying color as background. If we didn’t define this body background become as default or browser displays white color as background)

background:$bgcolor; (this we use when we defined color as variable and like to use in many place and wants to change at a time in all places)
background: #ffffff url("here you need to give the url of image"); (this we use when we want to display an image as background, by giving #ffffff browser shows this color if image is not available or restricted by browser settings)
background: $bodybgcolor url("here you need to give the url of image"); (this we use when we declared color in varible)
background: $ bodybgcolor url("here you need to give the url of image") repeat-x; (this we use to display image in x-axis, i.e., to repeat only right side or in horizontal)
background: $ bodybgcolor url("here you need to give the url of image") repeat-y; (this we use to display image in y-axis or to repeat in vertical)
background: $ bodybgcolor url("here you need to give the url of image") repeat-x top right; (this we use to display image horizontally and top side only)
background: $ bodybgcolor url("here you need to give the url of image") repeat-x bottom right; (this we use to display image horizontally only bottom side)

Font:
This we use to define font of an element. Generally this is not required.

Color:
This we use to define the color of font. This can be defined as follow:

color: #999999; or
color:$pagetitlecolor;

Where ever we use text color will be displayed in the color what value we given here.

Text-align:
This we use to define the alignment of text. Values for this are:
text-align: left; (it aligns text to left side)
text-align: right; (it aligns text to right side)
text-align: center; (it aligns text in center)
text-align: justified; (it aligns text in justified manner)

Text-transform:
This we use to transform the text to uppercase or in lower case. When we use this text will be transformed into the defined value, irrelevant of case we typed.
Values are:
text-transform: none; (if we use this text will not be transformed)
text-transform: uppercase; (if we use this text will be transformed into uppercase)

Change width of Blog template, sidebar, main-2

Width:
We use this for giving width of a particular item. If we didn’t given this, by default it will take 100% of available area. It can be given in px or in %.

You can give this value like this: width: 100px; or width: 25%;

If you give in % it will take count from total available screen area. It is not 25% of particular item in all the situations, so be care full.

While giving this you have to decide how much should be the padding and margin for your item. Padding value includes your width and reduces your original usable area. Margin value will not affect your usable area but increases the total width of your defined item.

Height:
This feature we use to restrict the height of a particular item.
You can give this value like this: height: 100px; or height: 25%;

Float:
We use this to float or send particular item in one direction. For example if we say float: right; for sidebar means we are saying that sidebar should float towards right side.

You can give value for this:

float: right; or float: $endSide;
float: left; or float: $startSide;

If you say float: right; for main wrapper and sidebar wrappers both will go on right side of screen. To display gap between these two elements we need to use margin attribute.
If you given margin: 5px; to main then you need to give margin for top and left or right and bottom for sidebar on the basis of its location in body structure to display equal gap between main and sidebar.

Otherwise gap between main and sidebar will be more.

Border:
We use this to display boarder to particular element. The value of boarder is exclusive to the element, i.e., it is an extra to the defined value of item.
Ex: if u say width: 500px; for main wrapper and border: 1px; then the total width of main will be 502px. (500px+2px of border (1px on left side and 1px on right side))

We can give values for this as follows:
border: 1px solid $bordercolor; or border: 1px dotted $bordercolor; etc.
for detailed understanding:
border: 1px; (if we use this we get general color to the border to specify a color follow next one)
or
border: 1px solid #999999; (here we are giving the color of border for this particular one only)
or
border: 1px solid $bordercolor; (here we are declaring the color of border in single time and can use in many places, when we use a declared value, we can add it many places and when we change the color of $bordercolor automatically change takes effect all the places where ever you used it)
or we can restrict it to a side like this:
border -left: 1px; or border -$startSide:1px;
border -right: 1px; or border -$endSide:1px;
border -top: 1px;
border -bottom: 1px;

If you say: “border: 5px;” (particular item will get 5px margin on all the sides in single declaration, i.e., top, right, bottom, left )

If you want to restrict it for a particular side or sides then you need to use these:
border -left: 1px; or border -$startSide:1px; (only left side it will get 1px border)
border -right: 1px; or border -$endSide:1px; (only right side it will get 1px border)
border -top: 1px; (only top side it will get 1px border)
border -bottom: 15px; (only bottom side it will get 1px border)

For example if u give border -top: 1px; means only top it will give 1px margin and remaining sides will be 0px.

#main-wrapper
In general this is the post area which we use to post all our content. Generally this is one column in webpage. Another column is sidebar. So these two shares the space side by side in outer wrapper and aligns after header in body of webpage. So you have to decide how much width should be your main wrapper.

Ex: if you want 500px exact usable post area for your main wrapper then give width as 500px. If you want some space on all sides to your post content then give padding for that, say 5px. When you give padding 5px your net usable area will be 480px. If you want exactly 500px for your usage purpose, then change width of main-wrapper form 500 to 510px, so that you will get 500px content area and 5px on both sides of post as padding and looks good also. If you want some space between your main and sidebar then give margin. This margin will not share your main-wrapper-width, it will take extra to the given value. That means if you give 6px as margin to main wrapper, then your main wrapper width becomes 500px+10px padding+12px margin=total 522px.

If your sidebar is on right side of your main wrapper, then you no need to give margin on left side of your sidebar. Just top, right and bottom is enough, because main wrapper already it had 6px margin on all sides.

For this we can use these attributes: Background, Width, Margin, Padding, Float, font, color and text-align.

#sidebar-wrapper
This is second column of your web page. For this also all the rules of main-wrapper will hold. So follow all the rules from main-wrapper section.

For this we can use these attributes: Background, Width, Margin, Padding, Float, font, color and text-align.

#footer
This is the last one in webpage. For this also all the rules will apply like main wrapper. Generally this will not share its width with others wrappers. So we can take its width like exactly the width of header wrapper. So the look of web page can be uniform.

For this we can use these attributes: Background, Width, Margin, Padding, Float, font, color, text-transform and text-align.

Now we will see the attributes of these elements of web page:

Each of the above elements it will have its own features. These features are like: Margin, Padding, Width, Height, Float, Border, Background, font, color, text-align, text-transform. We can use all these for any element.
Now we see how each of these features will work and then we will go to the page elements how to change these features for them and how they will behave for each change.

Margin:
We use this feature for giving margin for particular item excluding its value. This means if your main wrapper width is 500px, and you had given 5px margin means total width of your main is 500+5px margin left side+5px margin right side = 510px total width of your main wrapper. And height is your main height + 10px margin inducing top and bottom.

Margin has values like this: We can give values for this as follows:
margin: 5px; or
margin-left: 5px; or margin-$startSide: 5px;
margin-right: 5px; or margin-$endSide: 5px;
margin-top: 5px;
margin-bottom: 5px;

Change width of Blog template, sidebar, main

This is a big question for the people those are blogging newly. For these new people I am giving a simple and easiest procedure to make changes for template and its attributes.

To do these changes you need to understand few html concepts (don’t fear this is very simple to understand), which will appear in your template. If you understand it then it will becomes very easy for you to change your template.
(The main idea of this is to make a common person literate and understand about their blog template, to make simple adjustments and change it, but not to teach html or follow its rules, so there may be few mistakes in the name what I am calling them.)

So, first look at this picture:
Our template will look like this and contains these elements in body:

Now we see each one of these in detail, we discuss how to use their attributes.

Body:
It is the total displayed area or the full or maximum screen size and original background of our webpage.
For this generally we can use these attributes: Background, Margin, Padding, font, color.

#outer-wrapper:
This is the original size of our webpage for which we can define width and height.
Generally the size of any commuters’ screen size will be displayed in 1024*768 px. In this 1024 is width and 768 is height of your computers monitor display setting. Height can be scrollable easily with the help of mouse scroll button, but width is not good to scroll, it seems to be odd thing to many people. So you can set your web page size as not more than 1000px. (This is the maximum size of your webpage; you can also define more width but need to scroll in horizontally, which may give some bad effect on your website visitors.) The remaining 24px will goes to scroll button on right side of monitor screen which defaults from operating system.

So you have to decide how much will be your outer wrapper or page width. This should be including margins etc. i.e., your main wrapper, sidebar wrappers and any other columns size including margin, padding and border, can be equal to this outer wrappers size.

Ex: outer wrapper is 800px. So, main is 500px which includes 5px padding (net main usable size is 490px) and margin is 5px, then total width of main is 510px including margin. Now you left with 290px. If your sidebar size is 260px (includes padding 5px, with net usable area or width is 250px), margin 5px, then total width of sidebar is 270px. Now you have 20px width of free space in your outer wrapper. This you can utilize to give margin on left and right sides 10px.
Like this you have to do adjustments to your webpage.

For this we can use these attributes: Background, Width, Margin, Padding, font, and text-align

#header-wrapper
This we use to display title of website or for any other purpose. Its width should be equal or less than the outer wrappers width to look good. The width of this can be calculated by subtracting from outer wrappers width (after removing padding if any for outer wrapper).

Ex: outer wrapper is 800px with padding 10px for outer wrapper on the left and right side. Now header wrappers width can be 780px.

For this we can use these attributes: Background, Width, Margin, Padding, Float, font, text-transform and text-align

Adding AdSense code inside the blog post content

Hi friends,

One good news for all Bloggers.

Now on words you can simply put your AdSence code within the post area.

Till now it is not possible to put AdSence code in the middle of post along with post content in new templates, even if we try to put we used to get 'xml' errors or (if we ‘parse’ it to accept) ads are not displayed in the post.

But now onwords we can add AdSence code anywhere in the post area, in any available format or size, and it will mix with your post content/color.

For this new feature you need to login "Draft.blogger.com" instead of "Blogger.com". Otherwise you can't use this feature. After your login, you have to make blogger in draft as your default Dashboard.
To login into Bloggerin draft click here.

After loging into your dashboard it looks like the bellow picture. Here you need to put check mark for "Make Blogger in Draft my default dashboard".

Now you did all required things to display your AdSense ads in your blog post area along with your content.

Now you can paste your adsense code where ever you want to appear in the post content. On the basis of your post area width you can paste any size of add fits well with your content.

One more thing is, you need to paste this code in each post manually, there is no automatic mechanism.
But you can paste different ad codes in different pages on the basis of space availability etc.

You can see this page as a live example for ads appearing within the blog content which you are reading now.
