Our neighbor, Don, is giving us some tomato plants tommorow. He grows his own seedlings and he only uses one thing in his garden. We saw this cicada at a mailbox at the neighborhood.

The news I saw last week on TV about this family that got burned still lingers in my mind. I felt so bad that most of them burned to death and only one survivor. It was too late when the firefighter finally arrived and even with high quality fire hoses, the house was totally damaged. Firefighters are one of the people that I adore because they risk their lives to save people and property.

I was going to work out at our mini gym downstairs but decided to mow the grass at our backyard. I see someone hiding behind the tulips. Hmmnn, who could that be? Are you peeping Tom? Kidding here folks.

I find this tulips very unusual because my sister-in-law grew these beauties in the Jar with just water in it. They bloomed beautifully with rich colors I have seen in a tulip.

Pomelo

Pomelos always reminds me of my maternal grandparents. They used to have this plant at their backyard and they would always gave us some when the fruits are ripe already. When my Lolo and Lola (that's how we call our grandparents in the Philippines), the pomelo tree also died.

I love what this huge golf-ball like structure has to offer inside. It was an exhilarating adventure to try the Spaceship Earth attraction. The kids are asking us when will be our next time to go there, I told them, it's unknown lol. Unless we play the lottery and win, it would be possible soon hahaha. The problem is that I don't play it so there is no chance. But it would really be a great opportunity if we could do it it.

Longing for the Beach

It's been years since we last set our feet to the beach. Our last time was when we had our island hopping in South Korea. The kids had so much fun building sand castle and soaking their feet in the seashore. The place where we live is very far from the ocean so we have to fly to get there. I can honestly tell you that spending in one of the beaches in the topics would be fantastic. If only we could do magic and have the things that we need and go right away, sigh. But someday soon, who knows we might get a chance to travel again and enjoy the sandy and sunny beach.

The Last Song

I watched the 2010 movie "The Last Song" a couple of weeks ago. Although I am not a fan of Miley Cyrus, I love the the story of the movie. It's a tear jerker drama movie centered on a rebellious girl who spent the summer with her Dad in a Southern Beach. A movie that focuses on second chances, forgiveness, and family. It's an old movie and I am sure that a loftof you have seen it already but if not, it's a must see.

Below is the music "When I look at You" video by Miley Cyrus. I love this song and I think she did a wonderful job singing it. On acting however, Liam Hemsworth outshines her . He did an outstanding acting on this one. It's believable and so natural unlike Miley. But that is just my own opinion.
