This last tuesday, we (students) knew that there will be a big rally that is goin 2 happen this wednesday. I am so excited and hoping at that day it would turn out good.. So when i got there (in school) i was shocked coz it did'nt turn out good... But it did turn out the best rally ever we've done... When i got there, the rally parade already started.. the students rallied around the intramuros... Waving all different banners and flags they made, students were'nt afraid of the admin and the heat of the sun didnt stop them from rallying...</span><br /><span style="color:#3333ff;">almost all the students wore black yesterday.. some students used their vehicles, to protest against the change of name from Mapua Institute of Technology to Malayan University, just like all students of Mapua..But they used their vehicles to make noise protest and to rally also around the Intramuros and shown that they are not afraid of the admin...</span><br /><span style="color:#3333ff;"></span><br /><img style="WIDTH: 351px; HEIGHT: 302px" height="392" src="http://img209.exs.cx/img209/3729/118rc.jpg" width="324" /></img><br /><span style="color:#3333ff;">After they roamed the whole Intramuros, the last stop was the front of our beloved school, MIT. The United Mapuans led all the students to rally infront of the school and asked all the students to join them in this fight we have and at the same time boycott all the classes we had on that day.. It felt so good because almost all the students followed and rallied in front of the school...</span><br /><span style="color:#3333ff;">This fight will not going to win if the students are not united in one common goal and that is to save the school's name, the Mapua Institute of Technology... I wrote this because I am one of the very concern students of our school... If i knew that these things will happen and the Admin will change the name of the school that i loved.. and we loved.. I might be studying in a new school in a new course.. but because of the name of the school and the honor it brings to the graduates i did go back here..</span><br /><br /><span style="color:#3333ff;">Yesterday's rally was very different rally because it was a peaceful one, almost all wore black, there were intermission numbers from dance groups of MIT.. The NAMA gave us a 100% support for the protection and process of this fight.. It was also touching to hear concerns and testimonials from some concern parents and faculty members.. There were also alumnis from different part of the country attnded the rally and spoke for the students and the admin.. Some alumnis were 60-80 yrs of age.. graduated batch 50's and 60's..</span><br /><span style="color:#3333ff;"></span><br /><img height="280" src="http://img209.exs.cx/img209/8978/187oa.jpg" width="345" /></img><br /><span style="color:#3333ff;">I'd stay there from the begiining till the end of the rally @ 7 pm... There will be again a rally tomorrow.. same time same place.. Id sacrificed my Laboratory class to join the rally and to be with the students' side on this fight... But i took the responsibilities because i know that i have the capability 2 manage or handle the house budget like they say. Both my parents are outside the country, they workin really hard. Sometimes i didnt have much time goin out with my friends because of tghe reponsibilty that i have...</span><br /><span style="color:#cc0000;"></span><br /><span style="color:#cc0000;">Being a Mapuan, I really have to fight,together with my fellow Mapuans, for the name of our school.. We are very serious about this issue that our school is having. If there is a rally going on, i need to be there because i feel like we can win this fight. A lot of students' concern is not being heard by the Admin.. The Admin and the CSC really sucks!!!</span><br /><span style="color:#cc0000;"></span><br /><span style="color:#cc0000;">Having a long distance relationship with my girlfriend, Kristinne Salcines, pushes my limits of understanding and waiting. I really miss her so much! It's been a couple of years since we saw each other, since we smile at each other's face.. My love for her is priceless eventhough i know its expensive to buy load for my cellphone every now and then just to hear her voice, and share our love on the phone.. By the way she's residing in California.. I love you baby!</span><br /><br /><img src="http://img81.exs.cx/img81/6771/babyko8it.jpg" /></img><br /><span style="color:#cc0000;"></span><br /><span style="color:#cc0000;">I am also having a hard time to budget my time not only the money. Coz i've been working my ass off in the gym.
