Recently I've been searching for the right ingredients to form a set that is true to its roots and reminds me why and how I became a DJ. TWILO was the main reason. Instead of all the mumbo jumbo I played around all these years just to be able to DJ and make a living felt like I was forgetting what this music was actually like.

So I collected these tracks which would represent the real sound that most of us embraced back in the day. They are all brand new tracks but surprisingly they all have that deep, dark, melodic and epic mood we all used to love and cherish.

It starts building reeeally slow, and goes on for an hour with melodic yet thought provoking vibes, and if you bare with me on this, the last half hour will most probably reward you and take you right to the direction of the goooood old night&days...

If I was lucky enough to be offered a Renaissance or a GU cd you'd probably hear something like this :)

A Gizmodo post via the cmyplay blog has been circulating the twitter/reader/facebook/mailgroup circuits lately and I just wanted to make sure people know what we have to deal with here in Turkey as well.

The highlight of the infographic is an entry-level Macbook Pro 13" 2.26. It apparently costs $2068 in Brazil. The list price for the exact same machine in Turkey is 1199 Euro + 18% tax. Which comes out to about $2055.

Not bad, eh? :(

For the price of one of these entry level machines, you can get a Macbook Pro 15" 2.66 in the USA. And that is exactly what most people here try to do anyways. They buy their Macbooks from the US, add a 3 year AppleCare via Apple or ebay and they are set in the warranty department for 3 years as well. The cute white one on the left is Leia. Princess Leia to be exact. She embodies the meaning of survivor with all her being. The sad looking brownie on the right is Findik. The photo was taken on the day we decided to adopt her. She has been a great friend to Leia so far, even though she needs to put up with Leia's antics. :)

We have given them our hearts and they have given us theirs... And they make us feel extraordinary every single day.

M Division's ex-boss Gerhard Richter was devoted to produce only naturally aspirated, high revving, real wheel drive cars. One car they were working on under his guiding light was a new M3 CSL. Sadly he is the ex-boss and the new one Ludwig Willisch scrapped the CSL project and decided to focus on the X5 M and X6 M.

They released this video called "BMW X5 M: Product Testing". It starts with a band of rear wheel drive cars from the M Division's glorious past then goes on to say "M means precision, M means true character..." I thought so too, but this turbocharged four wheel drive two ton behemoth means it's all down the drain. :(

As you may have noticed, I have finally updated the design on this site. The design is based on a theme called teh blog ar (not) dead. As you can infer from the name, the blog posts are kept front and center so that they don't go missing amidst all the lifestreaming going on at the bottom.

There still might be some niggles here and there, so if you run into any just let me know.

Leopard kullaniyorsaniz hosts dosyasini TextEdit ile degistiremeyebilirsiniz. Hosts dosyasini editlemek icin Terminal araciligi ile nano kullanabilirsiniz:

Terminal acin (Applications > Utilities) ve sunu yazin:

sudo nano /etc/hosts

sudo komutu vererek superuser haklari istediginiz icin Terminal sifrenizi soracak. Sifrenizi girdikten sonra Nano acilacaktir.
