Muse Nominated for People's Choice Award

Over in the US Muse have been nominated for a People's Choice award! The band are up for the Favourite Rock Band award alongside Daughtry, Green Day, Kings Of Leon and Paramore. You can vote for them here

The awards will be broadcast on CBS at 21:00 on January 6th 2010.

Muse Help Search for Missing Boy

Andrew, a massive Muse fan, is currently missing. The 'Help Find My Child' organisation are appealing for any help - Muse and their management have been extremely supportive to the cause and are offering the child free tickets and the opportunity to meet the band in person! Muse Confirmed for Jonathan Ross

Muse will be performing on 'Friday Night with Jonathan Ross,' Friday 27th November, 10.35pm, BBC1. Other guests include Peter Kay, Jeremy Clarkson and Laurence Fishburne.

Their shows have received both positive and negative feedback - whilst their setlists contain a cracking selection of songs, they lack in variety and length. From Starlight To Bright Lights

Muse are due to perform in Liverpool on the 5th November. The Liverpool Echo managed to catch up with them and have a chat about their new album and forthcoming live shows!

Muse at Glastonbury?

Before Muse's win at the Q awards last night, Muse were interviewed by In:Demand FM. As well as talking about their new stage design (modern version of 1984), they mention they will be talking to the Eavis family to discuss a possible Glastonbury appearance.

Muse on TARATATA This Week

The footage Muse recorded back in September in Paris is to be featured on this week's emission of Taratata (on Wednesday 21 October at 8:35 PM, Channel France 4).

Songs featured in the show include Uprising, Popcorn, United States of Eurasia and Feeling Good. A preview can be seen on the Taratata website.

Muse Part of Children In Need Concert at RAH

Muse are one of the acts to be taking part in a concert organised by Gary Barlow for Children In Need. The gig will take place on 12th Nov at the Royal Albert Hall and will also include Leona Lewis, Lily Allen, Dizzee Rascal, Cheryl Cole, Paolo Nutini, Snow Patrol, Mika, Katherine Jenkins, Dame Shirley Bassy and Sir Paul McCartney.

The concert will be show on BBC1 that weekend and repeated on BBC3

Muse to be on 3rd Twilight Soundtrack

Muse are apparently fully embracing their status as the "Twilight" band. They've already had their track "Supermassive Black Hole" on the first film's soundtrack, and come Friday, Twilighters can get their hands on the "New Moon" soundtrack, which features the group's remixed track "I Belong to You."

Now it looks like there's a good chance the British rockers will be back for even more vampy fun on the "Eclipse" soundtrack. "It's great to have the feeling of being a new band again in so many people's eyes or minds ... we might even do something for the third one," drummer Dominic Howard told MTV News. "How about that for a scoop?"

Nothing is set in stone yet, but Howard noted that besides being a favorite of "Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer, they also have an in with "Eclipse" director David Slade. ...

Muse To Headline Holiday Havoc 2009

It looks like Muse's trek west doesn't stop in Texas with U2. The band is slowly inching over to Los Angeles starting off by headlining Xtreme 107.5's Holiday Havoc taking place on Saturday, December 12th at The Joint in Las Vegas. Also joining them on the bill are Cage The Elephant, Paper Tongues and Afghan Raiders.

Tickets for this event go on sale this Saturday, October 17th at noon via Ticketmaster but you can buy presale tickets Wednesday, October 14th at Dollar Loan Center in Las Vegas if you're in the area for $35.00 a ticket. There will also be an online ticket presale this Thursday and Friday for those who sign up for Xtreme 107.5's email mailing list.
