A few weeks ago we asked you for any questions you might like to ask the band. With just one day to go until they embark on their largest stadium tour to date, we're happy to publish a selection of their answers. Keep an eye out in the tour programme for the rest :).

- I need your love.

What did you write on the orange during the making of T2L?

- Probably something encouraging Dom to dig a little bit deeper to get that hi hat sound just right. He needs a little motivation occasionally.

Muse Release Mysterious New Video [UPDATE: SECRET GIG?]

Muse have released a short video containing the message, 'There Will Be No Warning'. The font used for the letter 'Z' is the same as that used for the upcoming WWZ film, hinting at possible ties with the soundtrack.

Muse will be performing a special concert after the premier of WWZ on the 2nd June in London. We'll keep you updated.

Muse Cause Ricoh Arena Fire False Alarm

Ricoh Arena is NOT on fire. Muse earlier today caused a flurry of panic on Twitter after onlookers posted photos seemingly showing the arena ablaze. The West Midlands Fire Service responded:

whilst Ricoh Arena later confirmed:

Just to confirm there is no fire here at the Ricoh Arena. They are just testing everything ready for Wednesday night's Muse concert.

Muse in China

China Music Radar, a website dedicated to rock music in mainland China, reports that Muse may have signed a contract to play in the People's Republic.

The article links to a screenshot of a (now deleted) tweet from Matt, showing a document written in simplified Chinese. However it also describes some of the issues related to foreign acts playing in China, such as the extreme difficulty in obtaining performance licenses. It also cites the less-than-harmonious nature of some of the band's lyrics. During their 2010 concert in Hong Kong, screen footage of then-president Hu Jintao during United States of Eurasia led to a sharp intake of breath from some in the audience.

Controversies involving foreign bands are common: The Rolling Stones and Suede were both forced to edit their set lists during concerts (the latter cutting their setlist to one hour, with almost all of the hits omitted), whilst Elton John and Bjork both caused outrage with political statements onstage. Oasis also had a concert in Beijing called off at the last minute, although it was scheduled only a few weeks before the band split up.

Despite the size of the country, the market for foreign acts is fairly small since international music is not promoted extensively and the live music scene is not yet well developed, therefore it is not yet a very cost-effective place to tour. However the situation is changing: Travis and even Public Image Limited have played sold-out concerts in Beijing and Shanghai during the past few months.

Muse are currently scheduled to play in the Far East in August, with a festival appearance lined up at Japan's Summer Sonic.

Muse Plan To Celebrate 20th Anniversary in 2014

Muse recently announced that they plan to celebrate their 20th anniversary in 2014, hinting at a "little club show" to mark the occasion.

Dom Howard recently told XFM - "Hopefully we will do some special shows for it or something. It will be nice to celebrate and play some little club and go: "Jesus Christ, can't believe we're 20 years old as a band."".

Panic Station Video Released

The official music video for Muse's 4th single from The 2nd Law has been released. It features the band crawling on the streets of Tokyo, searching for 'Panic Station'. Enjoy!

Panic Station Video [UPDATED]

The music video for Muse's new single, Panic Station, will be released on Monday, 22nd April.

Filmed a few months ago in Japan, you might expect it to be suitably off-the-wall! Check out Muse's Tumblr for a few sneak previews.

Panic Station Single Released - June 3rd

Zane Lowe has chosen Panic Station as the "Hottest Record in the World", for the week starting Wednesday 17th April, and announced on the show that it will be released on June 3rd. The release date was later confirmed on his blog, along with a Madeon remix of the track.

The blog states that the music video was shot in Japan and is expected to be released "soon".

Muse: The Movie

The long expected fan made film about Muse has now been released. Some of you might be familiar with the trailer, uploaded almost 3 years ago.

It was a long production process, taking over 4 years to edit and produce! The movie was originally uploaded on takeabow19's YouTube channel at the end of 2012, however was soon-after taken down due to supposed copyright violations.

You can watch the first 24 minutes here.

The full movie (2h+), will be availible to download on MuseBootlegs.com (seeding starting today at 7pm UK time).

New Proshot From Japan

A 94 minute video has recently surfaced on Youtube, showing one of Muse's performance in Tokyo (Saitama Super Arena). The full set (minus a few tracks and some slightly wonky audio) is available to watch here (or just below this!).

Muse Tour DVD Coming Soon?

Animals Video Competition Update [VIDEO 3]

Remember that Animals competition which kicked off a couple of months ago? It's drawing to a close, and a winner will be announced shortly.

Timelapse of Muse Stage Being Built

Wired are featuring a fantastic timelapse video, showing Muse's 'The 2nd Law' stage being built at Manchester's MEN arena. Head on over to take a look at all of those shiny lights.

Shepherd's Bush Director's Cut

Muse have uploaded a high definition recording (alongside some images) of their intimate Shepherd's Bush gig, which took place in partnership with War Child last week.

Muse Unlucky at BRIT Awards

Accompanied by a 300-piece orchestra (reportedly costing �300k, despite 'cutting back'), Muse performed a spectacular rendition of future single, Supremacy, at last night's BRIT awards.

Muse were nominated in the 'Best British Group' and 'Best Live Act' categories, losing out to Mumford & Sons and Coldplay respectively.

Muse Ordered to Scale Down BRITs Performance

Muse have been ordered to scale down tonight's BRITs performance, over health and safety fears.

MUSE were furious yesterday when their big Brits opening performance had to be scaled down for health and safety reasons.

The rockers are kicking off proceedings tonight with a dramatic set showcasing 60 musicians on stage and a huge firework display at London�s O2 arena � albeit a slightly less dramatic firework display than the one originally planned.

The group, renowned for their epic light shows, were rapped by Royal Borough of Greenwich council chiefs who have now ordered them to dramatically tone down the pyrotechnics.

Muse frontman Matt Bellamy, above, guitarist Christopher Wolstenholme and drummer Dom Howard had originally planned for around 50 fireworks to go off in the direction of the audience.

But the band, who are up for two gongs, have been told they will only be allowed to fire 10 of the multi-coloured rockets.

A source said: �Bosses were concerned over the amount of pyrotechnics being used on stage so told Muse in no uncertain terms to cull the fireworks. There will be around 20,000 people inside the O2 and organisers couldn�t risk causing a blaze or injury.�
