MORR Announces Titan Fuel Tanks As Title Sponsor

Abrams, WI (February 19,2018) -Less than two weeks after creating its first MORR contingency offer, Titan Fuel Tanks added to the partnership and now is the title sponsor of Midwest Off-Road Racing. "We've watched the growth of MORR over the last four years," noted Mike Deford, Marketing

Manager for Titan Fuel Tanks. "That continued growth on the track and off made the title opportunity a perfect fit. We believe the MORR partnership will be one of the keys for the continued growth of Titan Fuel Tanks."

The season doesn't begin until June, but competitors are hard at work preparing for another epic season of competition.

Why Titan Tanks?
Our tanks are simply the best fuel tanks that money can buy. Being made of cross linked polymer they do not rust or corrode which means they do not rust, they don't delaminate, they don't get corroded by biodiesel, they don't have condensation problems, they don't have welds that crack apart. They're lighter and quieter than metal tanks. Many of our models are made to fit into spaces that a metal tank simply won't.
In short, our products outlast and outperform metal tanks in almost every measurable way. That, in turn, shows off their real value; because while an aftermarket fuel tank from Titan Tanks costs more up front, the Total Cost of Ownership of a Titan Tank is lower, because there are no maintenance costs and they last years longer than a metal tank. Some of the World's best offroad race teams from Baja to Dakar to the short courses in the mid-west use our tanks, our tanks can handle their abuse, they can handle yours!

Chad Rayford and TORC

The season has been a roller coaster ride for Chad Rayford and his independent CR29 Motorsports team. At times the team has nearly tasted victory as well as faced serious adversity. Rayford's never give up attitude continued definitely won out by the time the final checkered flag was waved at the TORC "Throw Down in the UP".
After experiencing a horrific crash during round six at the start of Round 6, Chad Rayford thanks to the added support of Mike Vanden Heuvel and Flying Dutchman Off-Road had the #29 Kenda Tire PRO-Light ready for the technical layout of Bark River International Off-Road Raceway.
The two Friday practice sessions and the Saturday morning shakedown session saw the CR29 Motorsports team continue to make adjustments to reconstructed race truck.
The start of Round 7 saw the red #29 Kenda Tire PRO-Light grab the early lead. Quickly Rayford knew there was a steering issue as the truck would without warning, jump to one side. This reduced the pace of the truck, but Chad would battle to overcome the handling issues to finish the race in fifth place.
Chad and his crew continued to make adjustments to the truck looking to get the steering working properly for the second try at technical yet high-flying 1.5-mile layout.
Sunday's Round 8 had the red Kenda Tire truck on the front row for the start. This time the Appleton, Wisconsin grabbed the holeshot and immediately knew his truck was much better suited for the track's conditions. Then just before the halfway mandatory caution flags came out, Rayford lost one position to Cody Kleiman. On the restart, Rayford kept the leader in his sights and cruised to a comfortable second place finish. This was Chad Rayford third second place finish of the season.
"Finishing second means a lot to me and my team," noted Chad Rayford. "This was my first time ever racing at Bark River and just getting the truck back on the track after Crandon was victory. The truck just didn't handle very well on Saturday, but we never gave up. The steering issue was corrected, a few more chassis adjustments were made, and then Kenda Mike grooved up a new set of Kenda Tires that really matched the track conditions. Again thanks to Mike Vanden Heuvel and Flying Dutchman Off-Road, Mike Higgs and Kenda Tire, all my guys that volunteer at CR29 Motorsports, Shawn Morris and everyone that lends a hand."
Next race is August 12-13 at Red Bud MX in Buchanan, Michigan. Remember if you can't get to see a TORC event live, each weekend will be streamed live at

Chad Rayford thanks his partners including:
Kenda Tire, Flying Dutchman Off-Road, AMSOIL, FK Rod Ends, National Concrete Cutting, Londerville Steel, Badger Race Wraps, Neverlift Apparel, Boatec, Lincoln Electric, Bob's Engines and Transmissions, Simpson, Odyssey Batteries, and Grip Lock Ties.

DS18 Hydro PR 620x120 Revised

DS18 Hydro Series
DS18 is entering the Marine, ATV & UTV market with its all element series called HYDRO. DS18 realized that the power-sport category was growing and they couldn't resist the opportunity to join the fun! HYDRO is an all-inclusive speaker line that has all the necessary components to make your builds loud and unique. It is IP65 Marine Grade Compliant and boasts 100% UV Protection.

The HYDRO line is comprised of 2-Way Coaxial Speakers in 6.5" and 8" configuration with titanium dome PEI surround tweeters, as well as the option for a 10" Subwoofer. Along with these speakers DS18 has included top of the line towers that can come pre-loaded with their HYDRO speakers, or empty to give the customer the option to fill their stylish pods with any speakers they want. All speakers and towers include built in RGB lights and come in three colors; Black Carbon Fiber Finish (metal mesh grill), Glossy Red (sporty black grill), or Glossy White (sporty white grill).

This Series makes builds different in every way. DS18 thought ahead of the curve and went all in with Hydro, taking it beyond our wildest imagination. Hydro can be used in many applications from boats, jet-skis, side by sides, motorcycles, and even in Jeeps. This is where they got the idea of building the DS18 Jeep, "Mr DS18" as they call it. This Jeep has all hydro speakers in it with a custom made Rear Roll bar to mount 4 Hydro CFTP8 – 8" Tower Speakers facing the rear, and in the middle of the Jeep they mounted 2 Hydro CF8 – 2-way 8" Coax Speakers facing downwards in the factory location, but a custom job was necessary to fit the 8" in the factory sound bar. DS18 also added 2 Hydro NXL6 – 2-way 6" Speakers in the front to replace the factory dash speakers. Remember all the Hydro Series Speakers have built in RGB led lights, so it is essential to have the grill on for protection.

Rayford Takes Second at Route 66 TORC Event

Appleton, WI (May 16, 2017) - Privateer TORC PRO-Light driver Chad Rayford proved once again why he's a threat to finish on the podium every time he gets the opportunity to race. The Appleton, Wisconsin native took advantage of the close proximity of the TORC weekend in Joliet, Illinois to battle door to door with the best PRO-Light racers in North America.
Chad Rayford's support for the team's race program is Flying Dutchman Off-Road which allows him access to the Vanden Heuvel race shop along with track support from Shawn Morris Off-Road Racing. Another valued partner is the team's exclusive tire supplier, Kenda Tire. Even with a limited budget, this season's partnership with Kenda Tire will allow Rayford to compete at every round of the TORC Series presented by AMSOIL. Practically each time out, the performance of the operation gets well noticed among his peers.
The opening weekend of the TORC Series presented by AMSOIL was no different. The Saturday morning qualifying session saw the red #29 stop the clocks with the third quickest time. His starting position on the inside of the second row would be an important key to a good start.
Saturday afternoon's eighteen lap Round One race quickly turned into a dogfight for the second position with Rayford right in the thick of the battle. Throughout the entire race Rayford and both Kleiman brothers were all trying to occupy the second position. With four laps to go, the #29 Kenda Tire PRO-Light took command of the position and came across the line with a career best second place finish.
Overnight and the next morning Chad inspected the truck made a few important changes in the chassis set-up and looked forward to a repeat performance.
Sunday's Round Two race had Rayford on the front row. When the race went green, it looked like the red Kenda Tire hot rod would have another shot at the podium. Then a large plume of white smoke came out from under the truck. A freeze plug came out of the engine block, empting all the coolant. Needless to say the weekend ended early for the team.
"We were really prepared for this weekend and the results showed it," remarked Chad Rayford. "I have to thank Mike at Kenda Tire, Mike Vanden Heuvel, Shawn Morris, and all my friends and family that support this team. Running a part-time schedule is never easy, but I love this sport along with the long nights at the shop and the other sacrifices made to get this truck to the track is well worth it. Especially when you can celebrate on the podium like we did this weekend."
Chad Rayford thanks all his partners including:
Kenda Tires, Flying Dutchman Off-Road, AMSOIL, FK Rod End, Londerville Steel, National Concrete Cutting, Never Lift Racing, Proformance Diesel Repair, Badger Race Wraps, Auto Trans Design, Lincoln Electric, Boatec Fiberglass, Simpson Race Products, Bobs Engines, KGK Photo and Grip Lock Ties.

Next race is June 10-11 at Elk River Action Track in Elk River, Minnesota. Remember if you can't get to see a TORC event live, each weekend will be streamed live at
