Hiya everyone...

Yes, I know I have been MIA lately. I simply don't have the energy to write at the moment. I will be back, I haven't left you forever. I am plumb tuckered out. I am using all the energy I have to get to England and see my hubby! I will tell you all about my adventures when I can!

I miss you all and will be back soon. I don't know how soon, but soon!

My car hates me....

Hello all of you!!! You will definitely be laughing with me this week!!! Let me tell you a little story about a girl and her car!

It all started about two months ago. Our little blue car went kaput! Just went kaput. No little light came on or anything. It just stopped! The car happened to be on base. We got it towed to a shop nearby. They informed us (me and hubby) that it would cost near 1,000 dollars!!! 1,000 DOLLARS! YIKES!!! We got it fixed. What were we going to do? We had no other transportation!

All was well. We had our car back, life was good! Hubby was getting ready to leave. The movers were scheduled! Yeah, it was good!

The movers came and packed up all of our belongings. In record time too, but that is another story for another time! I was heading out to leave. I was going to go to C's house. I tried to start the car. It made a loud screcheey type noise. Not a good noise. Also, smoke was coming out from under the hood. I stopped the car, opened the hood and stared into my engine. At least I think it was my engine. I had no idea what I was looking for or at! I called my best pal C right away. She and her hubby came to my rescue. Well, they came in about 2 hours! We all decided that my little blue car needed professional help.

We got the car to a GREAT shop here in town. They looked at it and said that they could fix it. Ok, I thought. Everything is going to be ok now. 966 dollars later, my air compressor/alternator belt thingy was fixed and the car was running!

Whoo hoo!!! I was a girl who could tackle the world!

Nope, wrong again! I was driving to go get my mail on base. I had the windows open, my uber cool shades on, and the tunes cranked up. I had lunch at Chipotle. I was doing good. WELL... On the way home, my check engine light magically appeared. I hate that little light. It is a horrible little thing. let me tell you. When that light comes on it cost me lots of money!!! Anywho, back to the story... my car had that little light on, and was slipping in and out of gear. I almost made it to C's house. Almost. I had to pull over because my car wouldn't go any more. Luckily, I had a safe spot to pull over. Once again, I called my best pal. Her rescue time improved by about 200%. She got there in 20 minutes!!

We called the shop again and triple A. They looked at it and told me that the transmission had blown up! OI!

I can't afford a new tranny. We had the car towed by the missing link himself to C's house. My car is now deader than a doornail and useless. It hates me!!!!! At the moment, I hate it!

Things will get better! I won't need a car soon!

I have been searching my brain for something interesting to write about today. I can't think of a darn thing. SO, here's the plan. You all are going to read my blog and tell me that it is ok and everybody gets writer's block. And, you'll come back tomorrow to see if I have have gotten out of this slump!

I hate dishes...

I hate despise dishes!!! I can't tell you how much I hate them. I don't even think that hate is the right word. I will see if I can come up with a different word... Ok, I have just been searching for another word and I can't come up with one! I would rather clean toilets! Toilets! I can't believe I just said that! Well, It is true! I would rather clean a disgusting bathroom than do dishes. Maybe if I had a dishwasher I would change my tune. Washing dishes by hand SUCKS!!!! Your hands get all pruney and dry and icky. When I eventually get a dishwasher, I will jump up and down and start screaming! People already think I am weird, now they will that the even more!!!!

I am lucky enough to have a best pal. She and I are two peas in the pod. We go together like PB & J. We think alike. It is scary sometimes how alike we are. We married men that are very similar. We laugh at the same things. Each other, mostly! And everyone else!

We aren't talking about the fact that I am moving. When one of us brings it up, the other puts her fingers in her ears and does the "LALALALALALALALALALALA" thing. Then we both giggle.

I am really going to miss her. She is my best pal. I haven't had a best pal in a really long time. She is amazing. She helps me plan and scheme. She brings out the best in me. She challenges me and makes me think. She is the sister of my heart.

C, you are amazing and beautiful. I love you very much! Now, the whole blogosphere knows that you are awesome!!
