Follow these tips and they will greatly reduce the chance of you winding up with an other outbreak:

1.     Drink Cranberry Juice

One way how to prevent yeast infections is by making sure you drink at least a glass of cranberry juice a day.  If you happen to have an oral yeast infection, drinking cranberry juice will help to remove the yeast living in your mouth as well as your bowels, what it does is it prevents the yeast from being able to stick to your insides.

I don’t know what it is about cranberries that does this, but it essentially flushes your system out, just make sure that you’re drinking juice with no sugar added.

2.     Keep Dry

Another way to keep the yeast from getting to friendly is to make sure you remain dry at all times.  You know how sometimes when you get out of a shower and get dressed, sometimes things can be a bit damp down there?  You don’t want any lingering wetness, that will just be an excuse for yeast to run rampant.

Make sure you dry of completely, use a blow drier if needed.

3.     No Sugar

This is a toughie, but sugar is just evil.  It’s evil because all it does is feed the yeast and cause them to multiply further.  Cut sugar out of your diet completely though and you will be able to starve them out of your system.  It’s tough, but you can chew on gum and use sugar substitutes to ease you through the withdrawal.

Hi, I’m Diana Lesky and I’ve been struggling with yeast infections for the past 11 years.  Yeast infections can be a difficult thing to deal with, but they’re 10x worse when you have a yeast infection in your mouth..I mean, there’s no hiding it!

The cracked lips, the white splotches on the inside of your mouth and the tell-tale white tongue, it’s horrible.  People don’t understand that you can get yeast infections in your mouth and when they notice your tongue is white when you talk they just think you don’t brush your teeth properly or something.
