As I traveled throughout the U.S. on my recent book tour, I kept running into people who would ask me, “Where is Steve Forbes? The economy is melting down. We need his economic expertise right now.”

I couldn’t agree more. Steve’s message in the 1990s of free market ways to create hope, growth and opportunity at home and abroad may have seemed too bold to the GOP establishment at the time. But it’s desperately needed today. His plan to scrap the corrupting federal tax code — “We need to take the tax code and kill it, drive a stake through it’s heart, bury it, and hope it never rises again to terrorize the American people” — and replace it with a simple flat tax that’s a real tax cut for American families and businesses is the right prescription for the the mess we’re now in. Steve was passionate about eliminating wasteful government spending, and eliminating pork barrel earmarks and ridiculous corporate welfare schemes. He had serious plans to advance market-based health care reforms where individuals and families get to choose their doctors, and market-based education reforms so that parents could choose the right schools for their children. In foreign policy, Steve was a strong proponent of missile defenses, and recognized the threat Russia and Iran were becoming before many others in Washington did.

The problem is that few in Washington today seem to believe in such bold, dynamic reforms, or have the courage to advance them. I certainly don’t hear any of the potential 2012 presidential candidates proposing such sweeping reforms to counter the President’s plan to rack up another $10 trillion in debt and socialize much of the American economy, notably the health care sector. As troubling, few are demonstrating Steve’s understanding of global trends and threats or insisting on missile defenses or a tougher stance towards Russia and Iran. Indeed, the biggest news the GOP makes these days are by politicians who have marital affairs and should resign but don’t, and successful governors who shouldn’t resign but do. What’s wrong with these people and this party?

Finally off the road from my book tour, I finally called Steve last week to catch up. The good news: he hasn’t disappeared. To the contrary, he’s spent the last few months working on a fabulous new book, Power, Ambition and Glory:The Stunning Parallels Between Great Leaders of the Ancient World and Today . . . and the Lessons You Can Learn. Last month, Steve embarked on a national media tour. He’s talking about the lessons we can learn from history’s most effective and provocative leaders and how we can apply those lessons to the challenges we face today. This week, the book hit the New York Times hardcover non-fiction best-seller list at #30. I hope it climbs much higher.

Great new book.

It’s a fascinating read. I’ve been most intrigued with the section on the Persian Empire and particularly the leadership of Cyrus the Great, the surprisingly tolerant leader of ancient Persia. It was Cyrus, Steve reminds us, who fulfilled the Bible prophecy by conquering the Babylonian empire, liberating the Jewish people, and giving the Jews permission to rebuild the holy city of Jerusalem and rebuild their Holy Temple. He also gave the Jewish people, among others, the freedom to worship God as their consciences led them, without fear of persecution. “With Babylon as part of his empire, Cyrus could boast he was ‘king of the world,’ and he pledged that all his subjects would be free to practice whatever religion they chosen. This promise was particularly significant for the Jews who had been enslaved when Nebuchadnezzar’s armies had taken Jerusalem…in 586 B.C.” He was, writes Forbes, “one of history’s most gifted leaders and his accomplishments are worth a deeper look.” What a stark contrast to the leaders who are running Iran today.

In case you’re curious, I had no part in writing this book, so it’s far better than you think! I highly recommend it, and I hope this book launch is just the beginning of Steve’s effort to re-engage in the battle of ideas. His message — and his perspective on history, and the future — is needed more than ever. With once-promising voices like Mark Sanford’s and Sarah Palin’s suddenly sidelined, it’s time for a wise and trusted voice to step back up to the microphone and inject some common sense conservatism back into the public debate.

The head of Mossad, Israel’s overseas intelligence service, has assured Benjamin Netanyahu, its prime minister, that Saudi Arabia would turn a blind eye to Israeli jets flying over the kingdom during any future raid on Iran’s nuclear sites.

Earlier this year Meir Dagan, Mossad’s director since 2002, held secret talks with Saudi officials to discuss the possibility.

The Israeli press has already carried unconfirmed reports that high-ranking officials, including Ehud Olmert, the former prime minister, held meetings with Saudi colleagues. The reports were denied by Saudi officials.

“The Saudis have tacitly agreed to the Israeli air force flying through their airspace on a mission which is supposed to be in the common interests of both Israel and Saudi Arabia,” a diplomatic source said last week.

Although the countries have no formal diplomatic relations, an Israeli defence source confirmed that Mossad maintained “working relations” with the Saudis.

John Bolton, the former US ambassador to the United Nations who recently visited the Gulf, said it was “entirely logical” for the Israelis to use Saudi airspace.

Bolton, who has talked to several Arab leaders, added: “None of them would say anything about it publicly but they would certainly acquiesce in an overflight if the Israelis didn’t trumpet it as a big success.”

Arab states would condemn a raid when they spoke at the UN but would be privately relieved to see the threat of an Iranian bomb removed, he said.

Referring to the Israeli attack on an alleged Syrian nuclear facility in 2007, Bolton added: “To this day, the Israelis haven’t admitted the specifics but there’s one less nuclear facility in Syria . . .”

Recent developments have underscored concerns among moderate Sunni Arab states about the stability of the repressive Shi’ite regime in Tehran and have increased fears that it may emerge as a belligerent nuclear power.

“The Saudis are very concerned about an Iranian nuclear bomb, even more than the Israelis,” said a former head of research in Israeli intelligence.

The Israeli air force has been training for a possible attack on Iran’s nuclear site at Natanz in the centre of the country and other locations for four years.

U.S. Vice President Joe Biden said on Sunday that the Obama administration would not stand in Israel’s way should the latter chooses to take military action to eliminate Iran’s nuclear threat.

U.S. Vice President Joe Biden said on Sunday that the Obama administration would not stand in Israel’s way should the latter chooses to take military action to eliminate Iran’s nuclear threat.

White House officials said that the vice president’s remarks demonstrated only U.S. allowance of Israeli sovereignty, and not a change in policy on the part of the Obama administration.

Biden told ABC reporter George Stephanopoulos that Israel has the right to determine its own course of action with regard to the Iranian nuclear threat, regardless of what the Obama administration chooses to do, .

When asked whether the Obama administration would restrain Israeli military action against Iran, Biden responded:

“Israel can determine for itself – it’s a sovereign nation – what’s in their interest and what they decide to do relative to Iran and anyone else.”

Stephanaopoulos posed the question three times, and each time Biden repeated that Israel was free to choose its actions. “If the Netanyahu government decides to take a course of action different than the one being pursued now, that is their sovereign right to do that. That is not our choice.”

White House spokesman Tommy Vietor said Biden’s remarks did not signaling any change of approach on Iran or Israel.

“The vice president refused to engage hypotheticals, and he made clear that our policy has not changed,” Vietor said. “Our friends and allies, including Israel, know that the president believes that now is the time to explore direct diplomatic options.”

During the interview, Biden hinted that President Barack Obama was looking to take a harder line toward Iran over the latter’s contentious nuclear program.

He said that Obama’s offer for dialogue with Tehran remained on the table, but rejected the notion that the U.S. would make concessions for such negotiation to take place.

“The ball’s in their court,” Biden said. “If they choose to meet with the P-5 under the conditions the P-5 has laid out, it means they begin to change course. And it means that the protestors probably had some impact on the behavior of an administration that they don’t like at all.”

Adm. Mike Mullen, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said Sunday, when asked about Biden’s comments, that the U.S. position on Iran and a military strike involves a political decision.

“I have been, for some time, concerned about any strike on Iran. I worry about it being very destabilizing, not just in and of itself but unintended consequences of a strike like that,” Mullen said on CBS’ Face the Nation.

“At the same time, I’m one that thinks Iran should not have nuclear weapons. I think that is very destabilizing,” he said.

As Israel continues its efforts to portray Iran as a regime hell-bent on a nuclear war, top officials in the White House and the US military express contradictory stances on a potential Israeli attack on Iran.

The top US military commander, Admiral Mike Mullen, warned on Sunday that any military strike against Iran would have “unintended consequences”.

Mullen, chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, told Fox News on Sunday that any attack against Iran would be “very destabilizing.”

“I’ve been one who has been concerned about a strike on Iran for some time, because it could be very destabilizing, and it is the unintended consequences of that which aren’t predictable,” he was quoted by AFP as saying.

Meanwhile in the White House, US Vice President Joe Biden said that the US would not stop Israel if it launches an attack against Iran.

The US “cannot dictate to another sovereign nation what they can and cannot do,” Biden said, the Associated Press reported.

Israel, the possessor of the sole nuclear arsenal in the Middle East, accuses Iran of pursuing nuclear weapons and drawing up plans to attack the regime.

Iran denies the charges and says under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), which the country is a signatory of; it is entitled to conduct a nuclear program for civilian purposes.

The US, Israel’s staunchest ally, has for sometime denied Israel a green light to carry out an attack on Iranian nuclear facilities.

Biden, however, told ABC that Israel is able to determine “what’s in their interest and what they decide to do relative to Iran and anyone else.”

A Commons statement by the health secretary, Andy Burnham, marks a watershed in the spread of the flu. No more schools will be closed, unless forced to by the lack of staff or if the pupils are especially vulnerable. Families and people in contact with those with flu will not be given preventative antiviral drugs.

The new policy of treatment for those with diagnosed illness, rather than containment, has already begun in the hotspots – chiefly London, Birmingham and Scotland.

The change of tactic is the predicted response to the swelling number of people infected. There are now 7,447 diagnosed cases in the UK, but the number is doubling every week. If they continue in this way, said Burnham in his statement, “we could see over 100,000 cases per day by the end of August”. He later stressed that the figure “is a projection. It is not a fact. This is how the disease could develop and we don’t know.”

Those sorts of numbers would put a heavy burden on the NHS, which is already feeling the strain in some areas. The new strategy will help keep those with possible symptoms out of GP surgeries.

People who think they may have flu are now being advised to go online and check their symptoms on the NHS website or call the swine flu information line, on 0800 1 513 513. Anyone still concerned after that should phone their GP, who can provide a diagnosis over the phone. If swine flu is confirmed, they will be issued with an authorisation voucher, which a “flu friend” can take to an antiviral drug collection point, which may be a pharmacy or a health centre.

But health officials in Scotland doubt the virus will spread dramatically across the UK, as it seems to have peaked in Scotland, which saw the first big outbreaks, and the first two deaths in Europe.

The rapid spread of the virus has slowed down in Paisley, which suffered the second largest outbreak, and it has disappeared in Dunoon, where a coachload of football fans were infected. In Glasgow, until recently the worst affected area of the UK, infection rates have stabilised. After infection rates peaked at 111 confirmed cases on 25 June, the rate in Scotland has remained steady at an average of about 60 new cases a day over the last week. There is no evidence that infection rates in Scotland, where the virus first arrived in late April, were doubling.

Dr Harry Burns, Scotland’s chief medical officer, said he was “now optimistic that sometime over the next few weeks, the rate of transmission will begin to slow down” [in Scotland].

It was entirely possible, he added, that the outbreaks elsewhere in the UK would also slow down in a matter of weeks.

The fatality rate also appears to be low. In the UK, only three people – all with significant underlying health problems – have died out of 7,447 confirmed cases. Health experts believe more people have caught swine flu but shown no symptoms.

In the United States, the official figures show 27,725 Americans have contracted H1N1, with 127 deaths. The Centres for Disease Control and Prevention, in Atlanta, estimates that a million Americans may have caught swine flu but not been to a doctor, suggesting that fatality rates are as low as 0.012%, Burns said.

The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control reported on Thursday that of 69,177 cases which had been detected worldwide, only 328 people had died – a fatality rate of 0.47%.

However, Sir Liam Donaldson, the chief medical officer, said that it was not yet possible to work out the death rate from the virus, “given the unreliability of the data”, but that it would become clearer in the coming months.

The first batches of vaccine will arrive in August.

Although the UK has ordered enough for the entire population, it will arrive in batches. At-risk groups would get it first, said Donaldson: those especially vulnerable because of diseases which have compromised their immune systems or affect their breathing, such as asthma.

New flu strains cannot be eradicated. They simply become part of the seasonal flu mix. Donaldson said that swine flu could continue to cause extra deaths for five years. “We will need the vaccine in years to come,” he said.

In 2006 an interesting motion picture appeared via Universal Studios: “The Constant Gardener”, starring Ralph Fiennes and Rachel Weisz. The script, written based on the fictional work by author John Le Carre, has all the classic Illuminati elements: corrupt British government officials and money hungry corporate elites manipulate pharmaceutical interests in South Africa such that 62 innocent poor South Africans who live in an AIDS stricken local region die during drug trials to test a new drug for treatment of tuberculosis.

The drug does partially cure TB but often kills the patient as well. A British official’s young wife discovers the ugly truth, tries to reveal it and embarrass the British government into recalling the imperfect drug and correct their flawed formula, and she dies as a result of trying to bring the truth to light. Eventually her grieving husband dies trying to vindicate her murder, but as films most often do, the scriptwriter gives us all a happy ending by writing a story that ends with the evil British officials being revealed and the truth being brought to Light.

One key element in this script really stood out for me when I watched this film again this morning. The Pharmaceutical company who landed the “global contract” to produce the TB cure stood to earn billions and billions of dollars dispensing their “cure” for a new and especially virulent strain of TB.

Let’s fast forward to 2009. We now have more than 500 FEMA concentration camps which have been built all over the USA, replete with stacks of millions of plastic coffins everywhere on the grounds of alot of these FEMA camps. This “camp building” activity has been going on for some time now, several years in fact, (see our site map and links to the FEMA REX 84 page). Citizen journalists have been reporting on it all over the USA, wondering what the FEDS and FEMA were up to. Now we know. They have developed a strain of flu by combining H5N1 and H3N2 flu viruses that will resist all existing treatment drugs except the ones they will offer through selected multinational pharmaceuticals to the infected world population, thus guaranteeing obscene profits for the makers of the treatment drugs, while reducing the world population and implementing martial law to control those populations who are left alive. What better excuse to implement martial law than an illuminati created “global flu pandemic”?

What are we being told these days about the Swine Flu? Are we being told that it could somehow “morph” into a new super flu strain that might resist all known drug treatments we have have, including Tamiflu? Are we being told that a “pandemic” is now imminent, when in fact new cases seem to be proceeding at about the same pace as any typical flu season?

HOW MUCH of what we are reading in the world media about Swine Flu is real, and how much of it is utterly fabricated “public opinion forming” global illuminati propaganda? I’d sure like to know. Below are some links for further reading and research.

Will two flus mix in Indonesia? Experts worry

Mon Jun 29, 2009 2:00pm EDT By Olivia Rondonuwu

JAKARTA (Reuters) – Indonesia’s first cases of the new H1N1 flu have raised concerns that if the virus spreads it could combine with the entrenched and deadly H5N1 avian influenza to create a more lethal strain of flu.

Even if this worst-case scenario did not occur, experts say populous, developing countries such as Indonesia, India or Egypt, where healthcare systems can be rudimentary, will suffer more deaths from the new virus.

Indonesian Health Minister Siti Fadillah Supari, who confirmed six new H1N1cases on Sunday, said she was concerned about H1N1, widely known as swine flu, “marrying” with H5N1 avian flu.

Influenza viruses not only mutate quickly and unpredictably, but they can swap genes, especially if a person or animal becomes infected with two strains at once. The new H1N1 strain is itself a mixture of various strains, genetic tests show.

H5N1 bird flu has been circulating in Asia for years and has hit Indonesia harder than any other country. Although it only rarely infects people, it has killed 262 out of 433 infected globally since 2003, with 141 of those cases in Indonesia.

“We are scared because we are the warehouse of the world’s most virulent H5N1,” Supari said.

“I am worried if the viruses encounter each other in the field,” C.A. Nidom, the head of the Avian Influenza lab at Airlangga University in Surabaya, said.

The World Health Organization declared a pandemic of H1N1 swine flu earlier this month and said the virus causes a moderately severe flu, spreading very easily from person to person. H5N1 spreads mostly from a bird to a person and stops there, but is far deadlier.

The mortality rate for H1N1 is 0.2 percent, according to a study in the New England Journal of Medicine, while for H5N1 it is just over 60 percent.

SERIOUS THREAT

Scientists say usually as a virus becomes more transmissible from one human to another it also becomes less deadly, although this is not guaranteed.

But Kamaruddin Zarkasie of Indonesia’s Bogor Agriculture University said he felt the risk the two viruses might combine was only a random possibility.

Even if they do not, H1N1 may be a serious threat, other experts said.

Ben Cowling, public health expert at the University of Hong Kong, said people with serious infections who would be admitted to hospitals in developed countries and survive might die in poorer countries.

“It would be reasonable to say the mortality rate in underdeveloped settings is likely to be more comparable to the ICU (admission) rate in developed settings, or five times higher than the mortality rate in developed settings,” Cowling said.

“In poorer parts of India and China … people are nutritionally less able to fight infection and they don’t have the drugs that we have in major cities,” said Robert Booy, head of clinical research at the University of Sydney’s National Center for Immunization Research & Surveillance.

H1N1 has killed more than 300 people and there have been at least 67,000 confirmed cases worldwide.

In a press release from McKinney’s Green Party, she said the form states that the their relief boat carrying 21 activists, medial supplies, cement, olive trees and children’s toys en route to Gaza, was violating the Israeli blockade and trespassing its territorial waters.

She, however, insists the Spirit of Humanity, the Greek-flagged relief boat, was in international waters.

“We were in international waters on a boat delivering humanitarian aid to people in Gaza when the Israeli Navy ships surrounded us and illegally threatened us, dismantled our navigation equipment, boarded and confiscated the ship,” she said in a statement, adding that they were immediately taken into custody.”

“Immigration officials in Israel said they did not want to keep us, but we remain imprisoned,” she said.

On Tuesday, The Israeli Navy detained McKinney and 21 other human rights activists on board a relief boat outside Israel’s territorial waters as they were heading to Gaza on a humanitarian mission.

Meanwhile, the 54-year-old former US congresswoman has accused Tel Aviv of violating the international law by seizing an aid vessel in international waters.

“State Department and White House officials have not effected our release or taken a strong public stance to condemn the illegal actions of the Israeli Navy of enforcing a blockade of humanitarian assistance to the Palestinians of Gaza, a blockade that has been condemned by President Obama,” McKinney said.

Ron Paul, the popular Republican Congressman from Texas, is ripping into the president and Congress for what he sees as their “goal” with round after round of stimulus: complete economic collapse.

Ron Paul, the popular Republican Congressman from Texas, is ripping into the president and Congress for what he sees as their “goal” with round after round of stimulus: complete economic collapse.

“From their spending habits, an economic collapse seems to be the goal of Congress and this administration,” he said in his June 22, 2009, weekly address.

He added that Democrats who voted for the president’s war funding request, which gave an additional $106 billion to military operations in Afghanistan and Iraq — among other, unrelated items — were actually voting in favor of the wars, not just authorization of the president’s agenda.

He called it an affront to everyone who believed a vote for Obama was a vote for a peace candidate.

The president’s insistence on including an additional $108 billion in asset exchange with the International Monetary Fund is merely “buying global oppression,” he said.

Paul added that, “this [bill sent] $660 million to Gaza, $555 million to Israel, $310 million to Egypt, $300 million to Jordan and $420 million to Mexico; and some $889 million will be sent to the United Nations for so-called peace keeping missions.”

In other words, the latest U.S. war funding was an “International bailout,” he said.

The legislation’s provisions for the IMF included 100 billion dollars for the New Arrangements to Borrow (NAB), a credit instrument providing the multilateral institution with additional resources to deal with exceptional risks to the stability of the international monetary system.

They also include an expansion of the nation’s special drawing rights by five billion SDRs, adding roughly eight billion dollars to the IMF’s financial firepower.

The 100 billion dollars for the NAB acts as a credit line for the IMF in case member countries need emergency loans that exceed the institution’s resources. As such, the money is not considered an immediate budget expense.

Sen. Jim DeMint (R-SC) had proposed to strip out the IMF funds, but his measure was defeated in May by a vote of 64-30.

“Not only does sending money to the IMF hurt citizens here, evidence shows that it even hurts those it pretends to help,” Paul said. “Along with IMF loans come IMF required policy changes called ’structural adjustment programs,’ which amount to forced Keynesianism. This is the very fantasy-infused economic model that brought our own country to its knees.”

I was amused to read some more Zionist propaganda lies about recent Iranian elections with the victory of anti-Zionist Ahmadinejad – in an interview published by the most powerful pro-Israel Jewish think tank, Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) on June 24, 2009 under the heading “Reform and Women Rights Movements Intertwined in Iran”.

The propaganda is based on two Zionist Jewish bigots exposing their self-denial nature – the CFR’s Senior Fellow, Isobel Coleman, projected to be “a leading expert on women’s issues” and her interviewer, CFR Consulting Editor, Bernard Gwertzman. The so-called “leading expert” believes that since a large number of women took part in protests in favour of the West’s hoax of ”election fraud” – is an indication that “if Ahmadinejad’s victory stands”, people will see more restrictions on both the Reformist and Women Rights movements because they’re intertwined. Now, I guess, it would be a waste of time to enlighten the “leading Women’s Rights expert” – that women also participated in the Islamic Revolution (1979) more than they participated in any western revolution and since the establishment of the Islamic State – the number of women graduates has out-numbered many of western countries – and that Ahmadinejad’s administration has one female Vice-president, Fatemeh Vaez Javadi PhD, a position women still has to achieve in the US, France, Australia, and Russia.

Isobel thinks that Mir-Hussein Moussavi could be more pro-Women’s Rights due to his wife’s influence: “…he has a very prominent wife, Zahra Rahnavard, whose independence and prominence preceded his (Moussavi). She was a very well-known academic and who played a very active role in the campaign…She made statements on the need to respect women’s rights, so we could anticipate that women would have a better hearing under Moussavi presidency than Ahmadinejad presidency…”

How immoral these anti-Ahmadinejad Zionist propagandists are – can be seen by the dozens of their websites and blogs still busy printing lies about the wife of their “preferred presidential candidate” – Zahra Rahnavard PhD – who along with her husband Mir-Hossein Moussavi – are being labelled as “terrorists (for being among the students who captured spies in the US Embassy in Tehran)” or “radical (for her writing a play, calling Salman Rushde, a ‘Devil’)”, and recently “anti-Semite (for her saying: “Our main and everlasting enemy is Israel,” while campaining for her husband at Tehran’s Shahid Beheshti University)”.

Isobel also said that both Ahmadinejad and the Supreme Leader Ayatullah Khamenei are viewed by both the Reformist and women’s Rights groups as “anti-Women’s improvement”. Maybe be she suffers from amnesia – Ayatullah Khamenei was also the Supreme Leader during West’s favourite “Reformist” president Ayatullah Mohammad Khatami’s eight year rule (1997-2005)!

According to Isobel, the death of Neda Agha Soltan has already become a part of Iranian hagiography. But such lies are expected from the so-called “experts” embeded with the Zionist lobby groups. A rational mind on the other hand would like to know – why Neda’s wounded body was displayed in the street by the protesters to be videoed – instead of being rushed to some nearest clinc? Why the video ended up with pro-Shah Iranian contact in Netherlands, BBC and VOA? It do point fingers toward CIA-MOSSAD behind the shooting.

In 2003 – I read a report prepared by another “expert on women’s issues” – Cheryl Benard, the Jewish wife of Jewish Lobby’s favourite Afghan, Zalmy Khalilzad – is a senior analyst with Zionist think tank RAND. She in her report “Civil Democratic Islam: Partners, Resources, Strategies” – proposed that the only way to “deal” with Islam is by promoting Modernists (as such accepted by the Israel Lobby) as role models and leaders, criticizing traditionalism (Pity, Dr. Tariq Ramadan was still banned from entering the US for being a threat to country’s security!), encouraging journalists to highlight any report of misdeeds by institutions that can be linked to traditional Islam, and promoting the idea that religion and politics can be separated in Islam without endangering the faith.

A Muslimah’s views on women’s rights titled Barbie Girls and Barmy Muslims:

“With all its talk of the first, second and third wave of feminism, the unspoken truth is that feminism has betrayed western women. Whilst it gave them the vote, rights of ownership and equal opportunities, when it came to providing a moral compass on how to live your life in the post-religious west, all that feminism could muster was a blurred template formed from the detritus of male society.

In Islam women have the best of both worlds. We have been granted our rights by the Creator of the universe who has also shown us how to live so that we are not left to squander our lives in a futile attempt to satiate our never-ending desires.

Opponents of Islam who seek to “fix” Islam by introducing the western concept of feminism would be better advised to save their resources and fix feminism first. To those Muslim sisters who make a living role-playing the exasperated best friend of Muslim women – rolling their eyes in fond vexation at our own folly of clinging to “backward” notions of hijab, modesty and chastity – I would advise them to reflect well on the motivation of their actions and whose agenda they are fulfilling by carrying them out.

For the rest of us women, caught between the west’s scorn and pity and some of our own brothers and sisters who earnestly tell us that we can discard vast tracts of our religion, we should reassure ourselves that our rights and responsibilities are not man-made but God-given and we should not cast aside this gift like an unwanted doll and start looking around for something better.”

In conclusion – I would like to quote Father Roland de Vaux from his book – ‘Ancient Israel: It’s Life and Institutions’ (1961) – for the benefit of these “experts on women’s rights issues” – not to throw stones on Muslims while sitting inside a glass-house themselves: “The social and legalized position of a Israelite (Jew) wife was inferior to the position of a wife occupied in the great countries round about….all the texts show that Israelites wanted mainly sons to perpetuate the family line and fortune and to preserve the ancestral inheritance. A husband could divorce his wife; women on the other hand could not ask for divorce. The wife called her husband Ba’al or master, she also called him adon or lord; she addressed him, in fact, as a slave addressed his master or a subject, his king. The Decalogue includes a man’s wife among his possessions … all her life she remains a minor. The wife doesn’t inherit from her husband, nor daughters from their father, except when there is no male heir. A vow made by a girl or a married woman needs, to be valid, the consent of father or husband, and if this consent is withheld, the vow is null and void. A man has a right to sell his daughter. Women were excluded from succession.”

Nothing of the above have changed in the so-called “only democracy in the Middle East”. Rabbanic courts still don’t accept wife’s right for divorce – and in 2004, sex-slavery accounted for US%i billion trade. Both Amnesty International and the US State Department have reported increase in sex-slavery in Israel – but I bet these experts in “women’s right issues” would not dare to raise their voices in support of those Jewish and Christian women – in fear of being targetted as “Self-Hating Israel-Threatening (S.H.I.T.)” Jews.

“When you read the history of Israel from objective sources, you discover that it is an outlaw state, created by the powers that be by stealing the land from its original inhabitants, and systematically exterminating them ever since,” – John Kaminsky, a Jewish historian.

We have been spoon-fed for the last six decades that the very country which was established by the European terrorists on a stolen land from its Natives – is the “only democracy in the Middle East”. However, contrary to western concept of democracy (in which religion is separated from politics and equality for all its citizens irrespective of their religion and race….) – Israel was founded on Judaism and has survived on shear racism. Several Israeli parties have no elections within them and are domains of their founders – a sort of ‘family dynasties’ as in Pakistan, India, Egypt, Syria, Libya, etc. For example, Rabbi Ovadia Yosef (a racist Jew to his last bone) is the founder and the ‘Supreme Spiritual Leader’ of Israel’s one of main political parties, Shas – who have more powers than Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatullah Ali Khamenei. The Rabbi appoints the party leadership, nominates party’s MPs in the Knesset and have never allowed elections within the party.

Have we ever heard of anti-election demonstrations in Israel as we have seen recently in favour and against the victory of Dr. Ahmadinejad, where hundreds of thousands of Iranians came out in the streets to express their views – right or wrong? Why, because, in Israel, the citizens don’t vote for a candidate but to some two-dozen odd political parties – religious, secularist and communists.

We, recently, brought ‘democracy’ in Pakistan – by installing a corrupt and jail-bird Asif Ali Zardari by pushing his wife, Benazir Bhutto, to her death in order to get sympathies for her party PPP. Zardari is now pushing Zionist agenda to nuetralize nuclear Pakistan as a possible ‘Muslim-threat’ to Israel and India.

We also have succeeded in ‘democratizing’ both Iraq and Afghanistan – not through free elections, but by occupying those two Muslim-majority countries through wars.

Can you imagine Iranian-style protests turn out in Cairo, Amman, Riyadh, Algiers, Tunis, Rabat, etc. where thousands of Islamists are living in jails without trail for their crimes of being opposed to rulers’ subnission to foreign governments.

Canada, has its own brand of democracy when it comes to history. For example, the ‘Dominion Day’ national holiday was changed to the ‘Canada Day (July 1)’ on July 9, 1982 – by 12 MPs out of 282-member Parliament who showed-up for work on that day. Interestingly, the ‘Dominion Day’ – the 1867 marriage between the British province of Canada, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, was baptized under Biblical verse (Pslam 8:72): “He shall have dominion from sea to sea and from the rivers unto the ends of the Earth.” In 1926, the notorious Jewish author of the Balfour Declaration (1917) – Lord Balfour, declared Canada to be a ’self-governing’ dominion within the British Empire.

In February 2009 – we succeeded in a ‘violent regime-change’ in Haiti with the help of US Marines – by replacing country’s president Jean-Bertrand Aristide with our puppet prime minister Gerard Latortue and others.

We are allergic to democracies which, like Iran, are rooted in the ordinary and less-fortunate people – and like the US democracy are not monopolized by the millionaires and foreign lobby groups (AIPAC, ADL, AJC, etc.). Therefore, we are told by the Zionist-controlled mainstream media that there is no democracy in Venezuela and that President Hugo Chavez is a “dictator”.

Sure, the so-called “western democracy” is not practiced in Islamic Republic of Iran. It’s a mixture of religious and secular doctrines. The Constitution is based heavily on Islamic Shari’ah (Jafaria jurisdiction), which is protected by a Supreme Spiritual Leader (Ayatullah Ali Khamenei), and the day-to-day State’s affairs are run by a President and the members of Majlis (Parliament) elected on ‘one-man-one-vote’ basis. However, everyone is accountable under the Constitution. In contrast to western political systems – every candidate is judged on the bases of his or her honest, integrity, piety, and corrupt and scandal-free record. A candidate found to be associated with lobbying the interests of a foreign country (as it’s the most important political-plus in the US) – is disqualified for running in the election.

“In Iran, however, there are elections, and how! They are more frequent than elections in the US, and Iranian presidents change more often than American ones. Indeed, the very protests and riots show how seriously the citizens there treat election results. Israeli elections are clean, more or less, even if after every election people claim that in the Orthodox Jewish quarters the dead also voted. Three and a half million inhabitants of the occupied Palestinian territories also held democratic elections in 2006, which former President Jimmy Carter described as exemplary, but Israel, the US and Europe refused to accept the results, because they did not like them” - Uri Avnery, former member of Knesset and supporter of Mir-Hussein Moussavi against Dr. Ahmadinejad. In his June 27 article titled Between Tel Aviv and Tehran, he wrote: “It is reasonable to assume that Ahmadinejad genuinely won…..I AM not an admirer of Ahmadinejad. Mousavi appeals to me much more…..”

Iran, surrounded by threatening enemies and the daily recipient of dire threats from Israel and the United States, has absolutely no history of aggression: it has started no conflicts in its entire modern era, but naturally enough it becomes concerned about its security when threatened by nuclear-armed states. As for the other regular source of threats against, Israel, it is a nation which has attacked every neighbor that it has, at one time or another. In the last two years alone, it has killed more people in Lebanon and Gaza than the number who perished in 9/11. It is also a secret nuclear power, having broken every rule and international law to obtain and assist in proliferating nuclear weapons,” – John Chuckman, retired chief economist for Texaco (Canada) inAhmadinejad won, indeed, and the real source of interference in Iranian elections is likely the United States

The books of Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Revelation are explicit on this subject. Skeptics and cynics abound, to be sure, but the fact is Babylon is being rebuilt right now, in part with U.S. taxpayer funds. Iraqi leaders hope that eventually millions of tourists will come to visit, and real progress is being made. Consider today’s edition of Stars & Stripes, a U.S. military publication. They have a fascinating story this morning headlined: “U.S., Iraqi experts developing plan to preserve Babylon, build local tourism industry.”

Soldiers with the 172nd Infantry Brigade are exploring the ruins as part of a U.S.-Iraqi effort to preserve the ancient city and plan for the return of Western tourists.

Members of the brigade’s 2nd Battalion, 28th Infantry Regiment escorted a group of U.S. heritage tourism experts to the ruins last week for the first of several visits to develop a preservation and tourism plan for the area. U.S. and coalition troops have been criticized in the past for damaging and contaminating artifacts. In a 2006 report, the head of the British Museum’s Near East department said that, among other things, military vehicles crushed a 2,600-year-old brick pavement, and sand and archeological fragments were used to fill military sandbags. Now the rapidly improving security situation in surrounding Babil province has persuaded the U.S. State Department and the Iraqi State Board of Antiquities and Heritage to embark on the preservation project, dubbed the Future of Babylon Project.

The State Department and the World Monuments Fund have committed $700,000 to the project, which will see U.S. and Iraqi experts develop a plan to preserve the site and develop a local tourism industry, said Diane Siebrandt, the U.S. embassy’s cultural heritage officer. The Babylon project is one of several that the State Department is involved in to conserve ancient sites in partnership with the Iraqi government, she said.

Two people with expertise developing tourism plans for historic sites in third-world nations, Gina Haney and Jeff Allen, have been employed by the State Department to run the U.S. side of the project. They visited the ruins for the first time last weekend. Haney said the pair will involve the local community in the plan’s development, as they did with a similar project encouraging Western tourists to visit Ghana’s Gold Coast. “You could throw money at it and do all this work, but unless you can create a sustainable situation, your opportunities for tourism will run out,” Allen said. “The idea is to develop something that is going to be here 30 to 40 years from now and has benefits for the local people. We don’t want something that will only benefit outsiders.”

The Iraqi government will be involved in the planning as well. “If you have 200,000 people a year coming to this site, you will have people staying at hotels, visiting restaurants, buying souvenirs,” Allen said. “The site is in some ways a revenue generator for the local community.”Babylon could be comparable to the Egyptian pyramids, which draw millions of tourists each year. But the area lacks the tourist infrastructure that has been built at sites such as the pyramids, he said. “There is nothing for tourists here, but if you interpret and present it in the right way, you can spark interest,” he said.

Allen, who has experience designing walkways and signs for other heritage sites, said detailed planning won’t happen until authorities have worked out how best to preserve the ruins. The crumbling rocks of the original city are surrounded by more elaborate and modern fortifications, including a maze-like collection of interior walls built on top of genuine ruins during Saddam Hussein’s time.

“Some of the past restoration work hasn’t been very good,” he said. “Saddam was trying to inherit the power of the ancients and continue that legacy. His restoration methods helped reinforce that vision of himself, and he created a pattern of restoration and repair work that benefited a certain agenda.”

Last month, a British art publication had a story headlined, “Controversial move to reopen Babylon: State board of antiquities and heritage believes site needs more protection.” The story indicated that Babylon would be open for tourists on June 1st. Another recent story out of Taiwannoted that a Taiwanese tour agency is starting to take people to Iraq to tour — among other things — the city of Babylon as it is being rebuilt. As Iraq becomes increasingly stable and secure, foreign direct investment is going to flood in, and Iraq will become the wealthiest country on the planet. Skeptics take note: the Bible is coming true, one prophecy at a time.
