It looks like 32-year-old Chad Ochocinco, the NFL Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver, will be searching for love in a new reality series. This news comes shortly after the football star was revealed to be joining other celebrities on the Dancing with the Stars reality competition show. Maybe he’s becoming addicted?

It’s been recently reported that Ochocinco, who is the father of 4, signed an agreement with VH1 to do 10 episodes of a new dating show, which will run for 1 hour each episode and be called The Tournament. In this reality love show, the football player will be getting to know 16 women. Each of the women will take part in a dating competition styled like a tournament. The women that win double dates on the show will get a game ball, but the champion will be given a ring. It’s basically like every other dating show on VH1. The network is planning to premiere The Tournament in July this year.

Talking about why he wants to do this show, Ochocinco said that he’s single and has struggled with dating. He also noted only a couple rules that he will go by, although he is open to the reality dating concept. He says that it has to be classy and very tasteful, which is possible with this kind of show. Ochocinco added that he will do it unless they can get Sofia Vergara to date him, the Modern Family actress whom he’s had a crush on. He joked with a shout out to Vergara to call him any time.

British Airways has announced their flight schedule for the duration of the planned strike, which will start on Saturday for 3 days, while the second date is set for March 27 for 4 days. The airline says that they will be able to fly 60% of their passengers during the industrial action, which means some 30,000 passengers a day will not be able to fly.

In a statement on Monday afternoon, British Airways said that all of their flights will continue operating as normal until the first day of the strike. The schedule during the first days of action will include the operation of all flights to and from London City Airport, as well as all long-haul flights to and from Gatwick Airport.

Unite, the union representing British Airways’ cabin crew, has been openly criticized for allowing the strike to happen. Prime Minister Gordon Brown went on the Women’s Hour on Radio 4 show Monday morning, calling the planned industrial action unjustified and deplorable. Transport Secretary Lord Adonis has chimed in his criticism, which was basically the same thing. Neither criticisms have been successful at helping the situation though.

British Airways’ cabin crew are angry with cost-cutting measures put into action last year. The airline and Unite have been arguing over the changes in pay, working conditions and job cuts for months, and talks have broken down between the two many times. Last week, what seems to be, the final talks broke down without the sides coming to an agreement, giving the union no choice but to announce strike dates.

It’s the belief of analysts, the government and consumers that this strike could be the undoing of British Airways. Chief Executive Willie Walsh has said over and over that the cost-cutting decisions were made in order to save the company, and the High Court even agreed. So it looks like the cabin crew are condemning themselves and selfishly taking the rest of the carrier’s staff with them.

Sky has announced that they plan to offer 50 high-definition channels by Christmas 2010. The company will include ITV1 HD, Sky Sports HD 4 and Hallmark Channel HD in their line-up over the next few months, allowing viewers to watch some of their favorite shows and sports matches in high-definition.

ITV1 HD will be launched on April 2, and sports fans will get to see World Cup matches in HD. Viewers will also get to watch Survival with Ray Mears, Britain’s Got Talent and Law and Order: UK in high-definition. Then on April 29 Sky will launch Sky Sports HD 4, allowing supporters to see The Barclays Premier League, UEFA Champions League, The Ryder Cup, The Ashes and Guinness Premiership rugby in better picture.

During the summer, Sky plans to launch Hallmark Channel HD on June 28. Viewers will get to watch high-definition versions of Without a Trace, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Sometime later in the year, the company will also launch Sky News HD, which will be the first European news channel broadcast in high-definition.

With these channels, Sky will offer more than 40 HD channels through the Sky+HD service, which is more than other high-definition services in the UK. Hilary Perchard, the product management director, says that they are increasing the value of their HD service by adding more channels. They have seen a record high demand for HD, she continued, both in the amount of customers signing up and how many programs they are watching in high-definition. She added that they look forward to meeting their target of 50 HD channels before Christmas.

A source is saying that the singer is being told that she shouldn’t take this divorce to court, while Ashley’s lawyers may build a case that she wasn’t the best of wives either. Two very popular Disney stars rumored to be dating for a while have finally confirmed their relationship. Demi Lovato, a singer-songwriter and actress, slipped an admission on Friday that she really is dating Joe Jonas, a singer, musician and actor.

Lovato and Joe have been seen on the road together traveling and have been friends for a long time. They have always kept their relationship a secret, but she let it slip that they are dating on The Billy Bush Show, a radio program.

When Lovato was asked if she had ever dated a Jonas Brother, she replied with a maybe. Then Billy Bush asked her if her’s and Jonas’s relationship was turning from a couple into just friends, but she replied that it’s quite on the contrary, admitting that they are boyfriend and girlfriend. Lovato told the radio host that Joe is her best friend and very incredible.

Reports are also coming in that Jonas feels good about their romance being revealed. A source says that they knew the news would go public eventually. They said that he may have wanted them to confirm their relationship together, but he’s ultimately okay that it slipped out. Lovato and Jonas are taking everything slow, the insider added, and are happy together.

Jonas and Lovato met while filming Camp Rock, the Disney show, in 2007. Rumors that they are dating have been circulating since October since they went on a double date with one of his brothers. There have been questions raised about the claim from a man that his Toyota Prius was subject to the same unintended acceleration events that have been giving other owners problems and also caused collisions, some of which resulted in deaths. Mechanics and technicians have tested the vehicle, but they were unable to recreate the claims.

Jim Sikes called 911 while his Prius sped uncontrollably down a California interstate at more than 90mph for about 20 minutes last week. He claimed that the gas pedal was stuck, and even though he tried to slam on the brakes, he just couldn’t stop. An officer was dispatched to help and told Sikes to apply both the regular and emergency brakes, as well as turn off the engine of the car to get it to stop.

However, investigators are having a hard time determining that the pedal really did stick and cause the Prius to unintentionally accelerate. According to a memo draft summarizing the observations of a representative present during the testing, it doesn’t appear to be possible that Sikes slammed on the brake while the gas pedal was stuck.

According to Toyota hybrid expert David Justo, if the driver applied the brake while the gas pedal was stuck, the engine would shut down. If the engine doesn’t, then the gears would spin past their maximum revolutions and cause the engine to seize, he said in the memo. Justo also added that it’s not feasibly possible - mechanically and electronically - that the pedal was stuck and he was slamming on the brake at the same time.

The Prius was even taken on a test drive, where they tried to duplicate the same incident, but this was unsuccessful. The memo noted that the engine shut off when the gas pedal was put to the floor while applying the brake, and the car immediately began to slow. So it sounds like the whole incident was faked.

British couple Charlotte Lewis, 25, and Ayman Najafi, 24, have been accused of kissing in public at a Jumeirah Beach Residence restaurant and are facing up to one month in prison. The accusation comes after a mother complained to police that they were behaving indecently while she dined with her daughter.

Najafi has been living in Dubai for 18 months, and the two were accused of the act back in November. They were said to be consuming alcohol, intimately touching one another and kissing. However, it’s been reported that the pair are only friends.

After being accused of breaking Dubai’s decency laws, Najafi and Lewis were arrested and their passports taken away from them until they served their jail sentence. However, Khalaf al-Hosani, their appointed lawyer, says that they were released on bail and charged a £178 fine for illegally drinking alcohol. Then on Sunday, the two appealed the court, but won’t get a verdict until April 4.

According to the mother that complained about the couple, she was offended by their behavior. However, Hosani says that the two weren’t inappropriately kissing, but simply greeting one another as usual with a kiss on the cheek.

There have been two other cases where British couples have been accused of acting indecently. The first was in 2008, where a couple was accused of having drunken sex out of marriage. The second was this year, where the couple was accused of having sex out of wedlock. Both of the couples were cleared of the charges - the second couple by producing a certificate of marriage.

Lady Gaga announced about two weeks ago that she will return to the UK for more live Monster Ball Tour performances after making stops in Australia, Japan and Europe. The new dates include two reschedules, for which shows had to be canceled because of logistical issues, and two new nights altogether.

There’s no doubt that Gaga is having a blast on her tour, as she’s expressed her excitement about performing for her “little monsters” in interviews, but she’s not the only one thrilled about the new dates. Live National Global Touring chief executive officer and chairman Arthur Fogel says that they are very excited to be taking the tour around the world, adding that Gaga is an exceptional artist.
