Please encourage them to fill out this Trip Form and mail their deposit of $150 to Mike Dziubkowski. Deposits are fully refundable until 11/15/12. There are only 50 spaces available, so please advise your members to enroll soon, as I think this trip may sell out.

The base price for the week is $981 per person, based upon double occupancy. For a Single Supplement, add $245. Deduct $406.50 for no Air, or Land only.

We will also offer a limited number of units with a kitchen. For a Double Queen with Kitchen, please add an additional $49 pp, or for Deluxe Studio with King Bed and Kitchen, please add $95 more per person.

Currently, half of our Air is out of Pittsburgh, and half of our Air is out of Akron/Canton. Based upon availability, we cannot guarantee that everyone can fly out of their preferred airport. We will finalize Air in September, and if we can acquire better airfares for our members, we will do so. If we can acquire 2 free bags each way for our Members, which is worth $120, we may even accept a nominally higher base trip price. Members should not make reservations with their frequent flyer miles, until the final flight times have been confirmed in September.

We also are strongly encouraging our members to enroll in Trip Insurance offered through Travel Protectors. The insurance benefits and premiums are attached above. Members can enroll in this coverage by contacting Myra at Travel Protectors. Once she receives an application and payment, she will email a policy back to the Member and the coverage will begin immediately.

Format: 4 Person Scramble

Requirements: At least 1 MVSC Member per 4-some

Cost for Golf and Dinner: $340 per 4-some ($85 each)

Team Captain will be responsible for $340. Registration accepted at time of payment. Limited to only 11 teams. First come first served.

If you want to come to the meal only you must preregister and pay online. Adults are $30/person and kids (10 and under) can get a chicken finger & fries meal for $10. If you buy a food only ticket you must print your receipt and bring it to the event to get a wrist band for food & drinks.

Two Kegs will be provided with dinner. Dinner includes a center cut NY Strip steak with sauteed onions and mushroom topping. Served with redskin potatoes with kielbasa, peppers and onions, seasonal vegetables, salad bar and garlic bread sticks.

Dinner service will be at approximately 6:16pm.

Prizes will be awarded for First Place Team. Trophies will be awarded for the last place team.

All golfers will be in the raffle for prizes. Teams will have 100% skins payback. Several on course competitions (closest to the pin, etc.).

The ski club is not providing any food due to the overwhelming response from last year.  We will be providing two kegs of beer, wine and champagne.  Feel free to bring your favorite bottle of champagne.

Live Music will start around 7PM.  Music is by The Regular Joes.

PARKING – As of now, there are two options for parking.  You can eithor park outside the gate in the visitor parking and walk into the complex or you can park down at 7springs and ride the bus up to Southwind.  Please note that there is limited visitor parking at Southwind and that most of us will be going to the Matterhorn at 7springs afterwards anyways (so take the bus).  You should plan for this when you are deciding what dish you are going to bring.

ARTICLE IV: DUTIES OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The purpose of the Board of Directors shall be to direct the operation of the Club on a year-to-year basis.
Two-thirds (2/3) of the Members of the Board must be present to transact business and to constitute a quorum.

THE OFFICERS ANF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS SHALL:
1. Declare inactive membership and provide proper notification of all such declarations.
2. Call Special Elections when deemed necessary.
3. Institute special fees.
4. Make decisions on all matters except those that are otherwise designated in the Constitution and By-Laws.
5. Supervise the financial organization of the Club as a whole as follows:
A. Audit books prior to May 31st.
B. Supervise expenditures
1. Expenditures not exceeding five hundred ($500.00) dollars may be approved by the Board.
2. Expenditures exceeding five hundred ($500.00) dollars must be approved by a majority of the Club members present at a General Membership Meeting.
6. Pass on the eligibility of Active and Associate Members.
7. Develop suggested amendments to the Constitution and By-Laws and present same to the Club for voting.

Meet at the bus at 6:30 am at Seven Springs.  We will leave at 7:00 am. We will board the bus that afternoon and home.

Get together 5 of your fastest and most accurate friends for a competition like no other!

Teams of 5 will compete against each other for the podium and bragging rights.

How does it Work?

1. Each team member takes at least two runs on the preset NASTAR course

- The fastest time of the day from each person will be used for competition

- Points will be assigned per person based off of the overall ranking

2. Each team will shoot 125 combined targets at the Sporting clays lodge

- Targets are shot in a 5-stand format, 25 targets per person

- Points will be assigned per person based off overall ranking

- Teams will be responsible for their own transportation showing up 30 minutes prior to their designated shooting time.

- All equipment and ammunition will be supplied. You are welcome to use your own if you wish.

The team with the most combined points in the gates and guns category wins. In the event of a tie, the fastest individual time on NASTAR will be used to determine the winner.

Winners will be announced at the Sporting Clays Grille on the day of the event, February 18, 2012. A small reception of light appetizers will be available from 4:30-6:30. Awards will be announced at 6:00pm.
