Wubbzy, his friends Widget and Walden, and a cast of other adorable critters present preschoolers with easily understandable challenges and how to overcome them.  They work out problems like how to stay friends while also remaining individuals, how to be true to yourself, and the importance of looking out for each other.  These are big concepts that are handled with a light touch along with lots of fun!  We own several of the DVD collections plus watch the show on Nick Jr., so I was happy to get this opportunity to review this new Christmas collection. I have the trailer to share with you!

They come with this orange figure who Kaitlyn named “The Professor” (she loves the Powerpuff Girls) and she carried that figure around for DAYS.  The only toy that didn’t hold her interest was the Shape Sorter ball, which I’m saving to pass down to a friend. Everything else was a big hit!

I love, love, LOVE the refrigerator I was sent to review by Frigidaire, through a campaign organized by MomCentral. We had a tiny fridge with a horrible shelf layout that made it hard to see all the way to the back of the shelves, so we were constantly throwing out spoiled food. Our new fridge has clear shelves and a bright interior that make it easy to see what’s on every shelf.  The best part? The tallest shelf is big enough to hold THREE gallons of milk!  No more running up to the convenience store every other day, now I only have to go every four days

Besides getting the fridge to keep, my only other obligation to Frigidaire was to write a few posts sharing my honest opinion. I’m not getting paid nor will I receive anything else for this. Funky Kidz is a CD of familiar kids’ songs with a New Orleans funky-jazz twist. Artists include Ivan Neville of the Neville Brothers; The Radiators; George Porter Jr. of The Meters; and Bonerama. What I love about this CD is how these familiar songs have been jazzed up to appeal to both kids and adults. You can definitely here the New Orleans influence in the songs. Our favorite tracks are Papa Grows Funk’s version of The Beatles’ “Yellow Submarine”, Theresa Andersson’s “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”, and Amanda Shaw’s version of “Garden Song”. Our favorite episodes on this box set include Christmas Every Day, Super Bike, Information Stupor Highway, and Scary Godparents. Well worth the Amazon price of $35.98.
