Nickelodeon Punta Cana Resort

This was our best family trip by far!

We booked this trip for our 10 year anniversary. We counted down the months and days! The kids were so excited! Who am I kidding, Mr M and I were even more excited!

Waking up at 5am to go to the airport was so exciting. Baby M had no idea what was going on and loved every second of it.

MrK even got to meet the pilots! He told them he was finished SK and going to grade 1!

The plane ride was good. iPads and candy for entertainment. Baby M got a little restless but napped a bit too so that helped!

The bus to the hotel from the airport was about 30mins.

When we arrived we were soo impressed with our room! Swim up pad suite!

They had it all ready for us, with a sofa bed and baby crib too

Soo nice! They thought of everything here. The space was perfect. Fully stocked mini fridge with beer and pop and water and snacks! Oh and the room service. Amazing.

Our pool connected to the swim up bar and a snack bar too. We would swim over for drinks and food then swim back to our room ha!

The first thing we did when we arrived was swim! Of course! When you open your sliding door to a pool! ** Safety locks on the door** Little K said this was the best part of the trip haha. Second was the Nickelodeon aqua park! More on that soon!

The one thing I love about vacations, especially resort vacations is the no schedules! No alarm clocks. Letting the day guide you. Just relax and have fun! No cooking no cleaning ahh can I go back!

Some mornings we went out for breakfast, other mornings we ordered room service (with a baby in the room and some days taking longer to get ready, the room service was such a great touch) and spent the morning in our swim up pad. We just did whatever we felt like that day!

The restaurants at this resort are a 5+. We enjoyed the food and the vibes. They were beautifully decorated sheek and modern. Never crowded and never any line ups. I loved that they had the baby puree pouches everywhere. They were a great cool snack for the kids.

Our favorite day time stop was the cafe.

Wok wok was so very good too! We got sushi, and pad Thai and Mahi mahi fish.

Spacewalker was pretty cool restaurant too, kids loved taking pictures with this astronaut

Oh and I can't forget the big beach party they had with the most delicious food! And awesome party!

One night The Mr and I even got to have a romantic candle light dinner on the beach. The kids went to the Just Kidn daycare which was awesome. An indoor playground. They had fun, the staff I s so great and parents don't need to worry at all. We had a wonderful anniversary dinner.

The service was outstanding and our romantic dinner menu was soo good!

Ok enough about food! How about all the super fun things we did!

Aqua park was definitely a fun place to be. Lazy river, water slides, drinks in the pool. Nickelodeon character visits daily!!! What's not to love about ALL this!

Aqua park is a little walk from the main part of the resort. But I loved the walk, I got my tan on while baby M would have a quick nap in the stroller ha!. They had shuttles constantly going, so if you didn't want to walk just hop on the shuttle!

And SLIME FUN!

So daily they do a draw and pick 10 rooms that will be slimed that day. Our room got picked on our 5th day!

Little K decided he would pull the lever instead of sitting with us. Poor baby wasn't impressed.

Daily at 3pm they have the water park slime. Which everyone loved ha!

The weather was awesome when we went (June 2017). We had one cloudy day but the rest of the days were sunny bright and hot!

SPF 50 was lathered on us all!

Ha or just cover yourself with sand and hide from the sun heehee

One night there was a foam party in the lazy river. It was crazy fun for all!

The nightly entertainment was awesome. They had 2 different areas with entertainment. One for kids and one for adults. Both were very good. Perfect winding down and relaxation for the end of the night.

When we first got to our swim up suite, little k needed his floaters because it's a bit deep for him. But by the end of the week he was a pro and swimming back wall to wall on his own and he was soo proud!

The Beach to the infinity pools to the swim up pad to the food to the staff the list goes on! 5 star everything.. Parents, this place has it all. It's a perfect family resort!

Great Wolf Lodge

Another great time at great wolf lodge!
We spent last weekend at great wolf lodge. This time of year it was all decorated Christmassy and the kids loved it.

My boys definitely loved the swimming and arcades the best.
This year my sister’s fam joined us!

We arrived at around 12pm and stayed in the water park till about 5pm. We got the food package which is totally worth it. We had lunch in the water park then the buffet dinner, and buffet breakfast. More than enough food! The only extra we bought was coffee and beer!
There’s sooo much to do here, the kids are always entertained! It’s non stop fun!

Then end the night at the arcades! Fun for all ages :)

Last year we got one paw pass just for MrK , this year we got one for them to share. So the kids would have one stuffy each and one wand each.

The morning before we left, we enjoyed playing magiquest and bowling!

The kids had a wonderful time and they didn’t want to leave! It was the perfect kickoff to Christmas!

GREAT WOLF LODGE NIAGARA

Our Family Review on GREAT WOLF LODGE Niagara!

This was our first time there. We heard great reviews from family and friends, so we NOW know why!

It's soo much fun!

We booked for 2 nights ($$$), 1 paw pass ($64) and the meal package that was an extra $125 for our family. Their online booking is super easy and clear.

Check in is at 4pm, but you can get there earlier at 1pm to enjoy the water park. So we did that. Although the room wasn't ready until 4pm, we needed to get a locker in the water park for all our clothes/shoes/purse. That was fine tho. We did leave our luggage at the front desk and they brought it to our room when it was ready. Check in was super quick and easy too.

We then spent 4 hours splashing around in the waterpark!. (We ate lunch before getting there so our tummies were full)

We went on water slides and spent a lot of time in the pool and wave pool, ohh and we loved the lazy river too!

Since we had the food package we went to our room, washed up quickly and went to the buffet dinner. Which had everything! Ribs, chicken, pasta, chili, fries, pizza, the list goes on. Yummy dessert too. Buffet was yummy and worth it, BUT with small kids that just wanna be on the GO. Quick meals are most likely the better way to go. So in saying that, I don't think we will add the food package next time. However may be good for the older kids. Something to think about!

The water park is open 9am-9pm. We were waterparked out from the afternoon. So we spent the rest of the evening going through the Paw Pass items, Arcade and had fun with story time and the dance party in the lobby!

Story time was really cute and interactive for the kids. Make sure they bring comfy PJ's!

The paw pass was really neat. Little K loved going around crossing off the items on the pass.

Like making a stuffy. You can pick which stuffy you like and stuff it! We got a dragon of course. Little K stepped on the peddle to stuff it! Funnier when he stepped on the peddle when she was done and all the fluff went flying in her face. Oops

They fell in love with this dragon.

Which we brought around with us everywhere after that!

Oh the ears is one item too you get with the paw pass, which I wore the whole weekend.

We called ourselves the Wolfpack all weekend and we had a blast.

They also got a wand for the magi quest game.

Which they loved. Walking around the lodge opening treasure or pointing at a painting that came to life. 2 floors of interactive fun with that wand.

They also got another gift and they chose light up sunglasses, with the paw pass they got a fudge bar, 20 credits for the arcade, 2 bowling games and some crafts in the cub house and a 5x7 photo.

My boys loved the arcade, of course! We spent hours each day in there. Haha

Our Room was COZY! Going to bed was not a struggle with the kids.

We got the Kid Camp room with bunk beds.

The kids had their own tv they watched from the bunks.

The room was nice, clean and comfy.

How cute is the set up. Mr K thought it was the coolest!

We brought some snacks and water from home so we could have snacks in the evening when we were back in our room.

The next day we used our meal plan for the breakfast buffet. It was a little busy, more than the dinner buffet so the line was a bit long for impatient kids. The lunch was good, from Buckets in the waterpark area we got chicken fingers, hotdogs and burgers and brought it back to our room after the morning swim.

The last dinner we had there we wanted to make the most of our evening and not spend much time in the buffet. So we ordered a pizza located outside the waterpark and brought it back to our room to eat before heading out to the evening events.

They pretty much have all that you need there. Prices are pretty good I think. Not overpriced. They had a good cafe too for that much needed latte us parents need.

We saw others go out and bring back Tim hortons coffee and donuts , it's just around the corner. As are other restaurants /fast food. But it was freeezing outside so we loved that we could just stay in the Lodge and have everything we need.

Sunday morning after breakfast we also spent some time winding down at the cubs corner. Kids colored and played.

These boys loved our weekend at Great Wolf Lodge!

Overall our experience was great. We made some great memories and the whole weekend went smooth and super fun and entertaining for all of us.
