Have you read some of hubs? I already talking about how to start blogging, how to writing articles and why blogger need to be informative. Now today another episode I want to share with you guys about email marketing. Once you already setup your blog, start writing your articles and promote some of your product, you need to have this. Earning big bucks from AdSense isn't hard. All you need is well-placed ads and traffic - the more the merrier. So take my tips and then find some articles about improving your traffic and, who knows, you might be able to retire on your AdSense cheques in a year or three.

Do you want to have a money making blog? Who doesn't? All you need to do is go to Blogger and create a blog on a topic of your choice, add Google ads to it, and then when someone clicks on the ads you make money. Sound's simple right?

Of course, this scenario could be possible, however, most likely not possible. There's a couple of things missing that would be of great benefit. First of all, you need a product that you know is in demand. Second, you must drive traffic to it. Now, it stands a chance of being a money making blog.

Did I know any of this when I began? No I didn't, so I wasted a lot of time and effort trying to sell something I liked or was 'passionate' about. It's okay to be passionate about something, but it may not be in demand by anyone else and they're the buyers. The bottom line is there needs to be a market for it.

These are simple things, no doubt about it, and many veteran marketers know this stuff, but new comers aka newbies don't know anything about a money making blog. They think like I did, make blogs and the money will come.

Then there's the traffic issue. How in the world do you get people to the blog? You need to think about this and know at least a couple of ways or maybe more. To have a money making blog you will need traffic. No people no money.

The key though isn't just any traffic, but targeted traffic; people who are hungry for your product and will buy it. Where are they and how do you get them? The answer is advertising. You can do it the free way or you can pay for it.

It's possible to have a money making blog and not pay for traffic or advertising, although, it does require time and work. You can write articles and submit them to article directories with a link to your site; this is one of the best ways to get free targeted traffic.

Google Buy Twitter?

It sounds like one of those deals that's too big - or at least too obvious - to be true; Google in talks to buy Twitter.

TechCrunch reports three sources on acquisition talks, with scant detail including price. The assumption is that it would be more than the company's internal valuation of $250m, and a more secure figure than the $500m in stock deal that Twitter turned down from Facebook last year.

But talks for what? Would this be an outright acquisition, part acquisition or a search deal?

I said when Facebook talks were reported that it would be sad to see Twitter lose its independence, though it is perhaps inevitable. Twitter is backed by some extremely influential investors who, despite their apparently unwavering support for the firm, will want a meaty return on their investments at some point. What could be more reliable in the web world than hard Google cash, with some shares thrown in for good measure?

It could be for a stake in the firm, which would mean Twitter retained control and that precious independence. Real-time communication and search, along with social media context, are going becoming crucial to the web - as Google knows. It's not inconceivable, you could argue, that those dynamics could push Twitter to same heights as even Google one day, and then they will wish they had that precious autonomy.

The third scenario is a partnership between the two around real-time search, and as TechCrunch says: "Google doesn't even have a horse in the game", referring to the once-rival Jaiku that it bought but later closed. You can guarantee that the two are talking about a search tie-up at least.

Though much of the recent media buzz around Twitter has been outside its control (Twitter has only just stated recruiting a PR...), it has also created intense interest in the site and no doubt helped bolster its valuation claims.

What else does this say about Twitter? With the big 'if' caveat - if this is true - it vindicates Twitter's regular assurances that there really is money in them there hills. Google clearly sees where the money lies, and it will be fascinating to see what unfolds.

How to start writing articles when u have no idea! I had spent the last 20 years of my life in sales and marketing positions and had been told by a friend to get into writing articles but where to begin. I was so scared I had never done this before and didn't know where to start. Apart from writing essays and dabbling in a little of writing captions for advertising to help out a friend that was it! Your worst enemy is always yourself and i had a fear of making a fool of myself and people laughing at my attempts. So I bit the bullet as they say and just did it. HOW!

First of all I went online to see what other people were doing with their articles, what was being published and what made them so good. In other words why would I want to read them - basically - keep them easy for the average person to read and make them interesting. What subjects do they write about, do your homework and take notes as you go to add into your article. Just try to keep it in your own words and of course original. I spent so much time reading other articles it gave me the confidence to realize you didn't have to be a genius nor was it rocket science! Just plain communication and doesn't everyone do this every day. It is just talking to people but on the net - even shy people can do this It's all about having a CAN DO attitude.
