Dee does not support Paul Ryan. Accordingly, Dee has released this statement to Benjy Sarlin, campaign reporter for TPM in Washington, DC:

I emphatically denounce Paul Ryan’s use of my song “Were Not Gonna Take It” as recorded by my band Twisted Sister. There is almost nothing on which I agree with Paul Ryan, except perhaps the use of the P90X.

Let the boardroom battles begin!

Former American Idol star Clay Aiken and ’80s pop singer Debbie Gibson will be competing on the newest season of Donald Trump’s series The Celebrity Apprentice, an inside source confirms to PEOPLE.

Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice is also reportedly going to be a contestant

In past seasons, Celebrity Apprentice winners have included newsman Piers Morgan, comedian Joan Rivers, rocker Bret Michaels and country singer John Rich.

American Idol has been a real let down since Season 7 when David Cook won and David Archuleta came in second.

Season 8 was a write off with a poor selling winner in Kris Allen and the highly promoted Adam Lambert failed to ignite.

American Idol has been a real let down since Season 7 when David Cook won and David Archuleta came in second.

Season 8 was a write off with a poor selling winner in Kris Allen and the highly promoted Adam Lambert failed to ignite.

Season 9 with winner Lee DeWyze (off key Lee) and runner up Crystal Bowersox holds the record for lowest selling season of all.

Season 10 gave us Scotty McCreery and Nigel Lythgoe must be doing the happy dance. Scotty’s 198,500 isn’t huge for first week sales, Clay Aiken sold 613,000 his first week, but its better than anyone since David Cook’s 280k.

This is a clear cut case of racial and gender discrimination.

Who do you love beyond reason?

I completely lost interest in season 9 and after the mess that was season 8 I [...]]]> I’ve been missing in action for months, I know. I have a good excuse but I won’t bore you with it. I have also become a raving rabid-ass Clay Aiken fan, so sue me.

Who do you love beyond reason?

I completely lost interest in season 9 and after the mess that was season 8 I just lost interest in the Idol show altogether for awhile but I did discover a couple of Idols that I didn’t appreciate before I started this blog.

I also learned to dislike a few, but let’s not go there right now. I’m not going to tell you who you can st@n.

I will resume bringing news and views about American Idol and the Alumni past & present but I want to interact with my readers and I want you to interact with each other, otherwise I’ll get bored again.

All threads will be open to discussion and there will be a free for all thread to talk about anything Idol you want. You can bring news about your favorite. You can promote their projects, discuss their careers and critique the artists, labels, tptb and each other. Its open season.

The grassy knoll is also open for business.

Think of it like MJ’s Big Blog but better because you won’t be told that you can’t talk about previous seasons and you won’t be banned for having strong opinions, for liking an idol she doesn’t like or arguing with each other.

I call it his new sound because this is the first time in 7 years that he will be recorded and presented as the artist he always was in spite of RCA/19’s stubborn insistence of cramming him into the pop music box.

This is the Clay Aiken who recorded 2 albums of this kind of music before he ever thought to try out for American Idol. This is who he was on the show and the not-so-geniuses at 19/RCA thought they knew better than he did what his musical identity should be.

All I can say is thank goodness he is free of their evil clutches and thank goodness he survived their bungling of his career.

Last night, Ruben Studdard announced plans for a “Timeless” tour with Clay Aiken.

Last night, Ruben Studdard announced plans for a “Timeless” tour with Clay Aiken.

Just minutes ago, tour dates were announced.

The best news for central Pennsylvania fans of the season two Idol finalists — they’re coming to the American Music Theater in Lancaster on Aug. 8.

I just spoke to someone at the theater who said an on-sale date for those tickets has not been selected yet. I’ll keep fans posted on that.

In a press release announcing the tour, here’s what the two stars had to say about touring together for the first time.

Said Clay: “I couldn’t ask for a better tour mate. To be able to share the stage with him again is so exciting. He is such a talented artist. He inspires me daily and I think that respect and admiration will truly be reflected in our show.”

Said Ruben: “It is truly a blessing and an honor to be on the stage with my friend. The relationship that we have built over these past eight years will definitely translate into a great show for our fans. And I’m really looking forward to singing the timeless classics every night.”

Clay is coming off a well-received concert in Raleigh, N.C., where he performed songs off his upcoming album, “Tried and True.”

Ruben has a new single, “Don’t Make ‘Em Like U No More,” on the Billboard R&B singles chart. It’s off the “Love Is” album he released last year.

Neither are strangers to the area.

Ruben was in York last year, playing a lead role in “Ain’t Misbehavin’” at the Strand.

Clay played the York Fair in 2004. In fact, he was the grandstand’s best draw that year, with a concert that drew 8,700 people, according to fair officials.

What can fans expect on the “Timeless” tour?

According to the press release, they’ll be performing hits from the past five decades. Fans can also expect “duets and special surprises” throughout the tour, it says.
