Twitter just changed the home page design. This new design is completely different from the old one and looks clean. It seems twitter team wants to give more importance to “Search functionality”. So You can find the search box in bigger size and placed in center. Of course the sign up button has its importance and its near the Search Box.

The people who are not twitter users yet, also can search and see the result ( what the world is twitting/ saying on a particular product or service or anything).

However no changes in the functionality. Its only the design. Have a look at the new and old design here.

Before the update it was like http://www.google.com/profiles/117175340794151306329 . You can use this 24 digit number instead of your user name if you don’t wish to reveal your email address.

Verified Domains – You can verify email addresses and choose which domains (the part after the @) you’d like to appear on your profile. Your email addresses will not be displayed. This will help visitors to your profile know that you are the real you. To Verify an Email Address go tohttps://www.google.com/accounts/AddNonGmailAlternate and add your Email if you have one with custom domain.
