I've been working on my chocolate chip cookie recipe for a while now. I want a cookie that is chewy, but not too flat. Fluffy, but not too dry. It also shouldn't take a test kitchen with mixers and professionals to pull off. After doing some research and tweaking a few key ingredients, I finally think I'm close to the perfect, easy-to-make chocolate chip cookie.

Guys - this is a reminder to make sure to get your wife, girlfriend or significant other some roses. It doesn't have to be Valentine's Day or her birthday to let her know that she's special to you. If even one guy reading this gets their lady some flowers, it'll be worth the post. I got some for Heth last night and her face lit up. It's easy, reasonably cheap and makes a big difference. Make it happen!

Last week I finally broke down and got myself an iPhone . I have to admit, I've loved the way that they look and feel since the first time I played with one at the store. The two reasons I went with the iPhone are:

The hardware is powerful and the interface is great
The app store is huge - and you just can't get anything like it on any other phone

That said, I have always despised the way that Apple rules the app store with an iron fist. There is so much that the iPhone *should* do that it doesn't do. That's where Jailbreaking comes in. After jailbreaking and running for a few days, I have to say that this phone would be about 40% as useful had I left it alone. Jailbreaking is super easy, and relatively safe. There have been a lot of problems with the newly released System Menu 4.2 from Nintendo. Ignoring the fact that it is actually bricking unmoddified Wiis, it erases homebrew and stubs-out cIOS locations. If you have not yet updated to 4.2, DON'T DO IT! You'll only cause aggravation for yourself. That said, what if you've recently purchased a Wii with 4.2 already installed, or updated to 4.2 before deciding to try to hack it? Well people, football season is less than a week away, and I have to say that I love this time of year. Football to me is the true American sport of choice. Like millions of other football fans, I love me some Fantasy Football to go along with the real thing. This year I'm in 4 leagues and having recently acquired u-verse as my cable service, I was quite excited to see that I could view my personal Fantasy Football stats and news right on the scrolling U-bar at the bottom of the screen. When I went to connect my account to my existing Fantasy Football teams, there was just one problem....my AT&T Yahoo account was different than my old-school Yahoo account that my leagues were a part of.
