Glenn Robinson is Chief Architect for Infrastructure Services company Qcubed and has been working with IBM systems for over two decades. Glenn is also a regular speaker and technical author for a number of publications, including System iNetwork and iNewsWire UK. 2008 has been a year full of announcements regarding the System i platform. IBM’s new Power Systems strategy unifies the highly successful integrated platform, System i, with their fast growing UNIX platform, System p. IBM also introduced IBM i, the new brand name for the i5/OS operating system, featuring the latest release IBM i 6.1. Glenn has spent his career decoding IBM’s system strategy for his clients and has specialist knowledge of System i, p and x.
