CroogoはPHP/CakePHP製のオープンソース・ソフトウェア。Railsライクな開発ができるという特徴で日本でも人気が高いPHPフレームワークがCakePHPだ。フレームワークを用いることで、余計な設定や開発者ごとの癖をある程度吸収できる。何より開発が素早くなる。

ユーザ画面

さらにその特徴を際立たせてくれそうなのがCroogoだ。CroogoはCakePHPを使って構築されているCMSだ。そのまま使うのはもちろんのこと、CakePHPを習得されている方であればカスタマイズも容易だろう。つまりCroogoをベースにさらに開発を素早くすることができるのだ。

Croogoはユーザ画面と管理画面に分かれて提供される。コンテンツ、メニュー、ブロック、メディア、コンタクトフォーム、ユーザ、テーマ、システム設定が主な機能になる。後は自分で自由に機能を追加すれば良い。もちろんCroogoの書き方を踏襲すれば一体感のあるシステムに仕上げられることだろう。

管理画面

メニューは管理画面から並び替えができたり、SEO対策に分かりやすいURLがつけられるようになっている。設定項目を専用に増やせば、システム固有の値を管理するのも簡単になるだろう。そのまま使うのも良いが、システム構築の際にベースとして用いたいソフトウェアだ。

Mac OSXライクにWebページの一部を切り抜いてウィジェット化「Snippage」

SnippageはAdobe AIR製のフリーウェア。Mac OSXのSafariではWebページの一部を指定してダッシュボードに取り込む機能がある（Leopardから搭載されたWeb Clip Widgetという機能）。うまく使いこなせていないが、ブックマークとはまた違い、見たままに保存しておけるスクラップブックとして使うと便利そうだ。

切り抜き作業をしているところ

そんな切り抜き機能をWindowsやLinuxでも再現するのがSnippageだ。SnippageはAdobe AIRで作られたソフトウェアで、WebKitベースのレンダリングエンジンを内蔵し、表示されている内容をそのまま残しておくことが出来る。

種明かしをすればWebブラウザの一部だけを表示しているのだろう。だがMac OSXのそれと同じように動作する。ウィンドウは複数作成可能で、範囲の指定はマウスで自由に変更することが出来る。さらに表示されている内容を定期的に更新する機能もある。

このように保存される

例えば野球のスコアリングボードだけを切り抜いておけば、定期的に更新させてスコアを確認できるようになる。スクラップブック的な使い方もできるだろう。ローカルに残すのでオンラインのスクラップブックともまた違う使い勝手だ。

Unable to install OS X 10.5.8 combo updater

My Mini 9 was running 10.5.8 with no problems but I decided to install the latest Chameleon bootloader & that's when the trouble started. Unable to get it fixed, I decided a fresh install of Leopard was in order.

The 1st time was with NetBootMaker0.8.2 on an 8GB thumb drive with the 10.5.8 Combo updater on the drive. The basic OS X install went fine but when the 10.5.8 updater was installed the installer script hung with about a minute remaining. After an hour & a half I restarted & tried again but no OS was found.

I made a new USB drive using NetBootMaker0.8.3 & tried again. There was no startup screen after reboot so I restarted & did the -x thing & was able to finish setting up Leopard. When I installed the 10.5.8 updater again it stalled at the same point with about a minute remaining. It's been 2 hours & the progress bar hasn't moved beyond the minute remaining point. It doesn't seem to be frozen because the Spotlight icon is pulsing.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

It's a 32GB RunCore SSD & there's 2GB RAM.

Tab Mix Plus を使わなくなってから、様々なタブ系のアドオンを試しています。

今回試してみたのは、 DomainTab。

このアドオンは、

してくれるというもの。

とてもシンプルだけど、個人的に、理想的なタブの開き方になるので、いい感じです。

シンプルな時計を表示したい方向け。

時計の大きさ、色、透過度、各円盤の幅を自分で好きなように設定できますので、自分のデスクトップにあった時計を表示させることができます。

日付や曜日をメニューバーに表示させることもできるのでSnow Leopard以前の方にもお勧め。

真っ新な状態から自分で譜面を書くこともできますし、Guitar Pro形式のタブ譜ファイル(gp3,4,5など)を開くことができるので911Tabsなどの配布サイトで譜面をダウンロードしてそのファイルを再生させることもできます。

弦楽器の練習に良いのではないでしょうか。

PDFに書き出せるし、メトロノームを表示させられたり、オートスクロール、再生スピード調整機能があり、ギターの練習を手助けしてくれそうです。

フォームから入力した漢字データがPHP文から正しく、MySQLに保存されない。

フォームから入力したデータをPHP文を用いて、取得したデータをMYSQLへ書き込みしていますが、英文字データの場合は、正しく、MySQLに保存されます。しかし、漢字データをフォームから入力すると、MySQLには、何も保存されません。また、エラーメッセージも何らありません。 MySQL　command　Line　Clientから入力した漢字データは、正しく表示されます。 PHPの設定が何か必要でしょうか。

Gitを使ったチケット管理「TicGit」

TicGitはRuby製のオープンソース・ソフトウェア。Gitはここ最近利用されることが多くなったバージョン管理システムだ。個人のプロジェクトから複数の拠点を使う大規模なものまで対応ができ、とても便利なシステムになっている。小規模からはじめられるので、開発分野に限らず導入ができるだろう。

チケット一覧

そんなGitを使った開発に取り込めるチケット管理システムがTicGitだ。開発したコードだけでなく、開発に必要なドキュメントをバージョン管理に入れてしまうケースもある。さらに加えてチケット管理まで入れてしまえばデータの一元管理が容易になるはずだ。

TicGitはコンソールベースで動作する。新しいチケットを作成したら、一覧で見たり、チケットにタグを付けることができる。さらにコメントを追加して意見を交換したり、コーディングをしてチケットを終了させることもできる。チケット管理のためにWebベースのシステムを導入するのが面倒、というケースでもすぐに使い始めることができるだろう。

コメントもできる

TicGitは既存のリポジトリに組み込んで利用する。Gitを使って開発を管理しているなら、そのチケット管理として導入してみるのを検討しよう。
