I’ve decided to revive my blog, kids. I’m totally digging the Thesis theme for Wordpress. It’s worth the small price for complete customization and support! I’ll be hacking away here in the coming weeks to spiff up the place. Thanks for reading!

This post is primarily for those of you reading via RSS. I’m preparing to swap out this wordpress blog with a simple “About Me” page and switch my blog over to Tumblr. I just don’t blog enough right now to sustain the maintenance required for a wordpress blog. I think it’s more valuable right now for me to have a place where people can learn a bit about who I am and what I’m working on and then interact more deeply if they want to.

Today is a big big day in the life my little startup. We launched our coming soon page! Now don’t get me wrong. Out of the long list of hurdles, decisions and accomplishments of my young company, this was one of the easier things we’ve completed. It doesn’t take much to throw up an email form. But it marks a major milestone. We’ve launched something publicly. I’m making a public commitment to anyone who is watching that NeighborGoods.net is coming soon!

I’ve been working on this project for a little over a year now. Turns out, it can take a lot longer than you think to get an idea up and running. But with a little luck and a lot of perseverance, I managed to get a small bit of investment and was able to hire my friends at XOXCO to build the website. We’ve been working hard and fast and I couldn’t be happier with the results so far.

So if you want to check out what we’ve been working on, go on over and give us your email address and we’ll keep you posted about our private alpha launch.

Oh! And now that we’ve got a name and a URL, I guess I can tell you a little more about what we’re working on:
