Making some progress on the house front.  We transformed a dark-stained, curvy-edged frump of a free table into a clean, sleek, white-topped beauty. We&#8217;re still in the process of stripping the 6 old school chairs I scored for $5 each. Raw steel hairpin legs by Ian McLean, pendant from Ikea.

Made with felted wool, the individual forms initially reminded me of barnacles, but now look more like moss.  I&#8217;d like to eventually make enough for a large wall installation.

She transforms simple, common materials and objects in to  works that get even non-arty or museum-y people looking closely.
