I realized that we (in Indonesia) have too much billboards in the street, but never had I noticed that most of them are about cigarettes. When I saw the music events held/sponsored by cigarettes companies, I thought it was usual. Little did I knew it’s a way of branding themselves to the youngster. When I saw children below legal age buying cig here, I thought it was a usual scene. I missed out that we didn’t have the sign where children aren’t allow to purchase cig.

Things that I thought was usual, because I’ve seen them since I was a kid, was actually unusual and pretty evil. Geez.

If it’s selling products like jewelry making tools, I’ll surely grab the deal. But if it’s service, I won’t put much high hope on the deal.

So, we went to the pretty well-known cafes for the high tea session. The foods was mediocre, some of the pastries weren’t fresh anymore. Based on the taste, it didn’t pass our judgement. But since we’re on discount, can’t complain more.

So it’s back to the old saying that you get what you pay for. Budget airline give us the opportunity to travel more, but sometimes it’s ok to indulge in usual standard airline too.

One of the small airport that I like a lot is Langkawi airport, could also be because it serves International flight as well, hence it has a standard there.

A beach getaway that changed my perspective would be the Perhentian Island trip, dated almost three years ago. Our package include snorkeling, so being my first time I was enthusiast and quickly bought a water-resistant pouch for the digicam, although underwater cameras would give a better pictures.
