<h1 style="text-align: center;"><strong><span style="color: #ff0000;">It&#8217;s 70% diet and only 30% workouts</span></strong></h1>
<p>Professional Bodybuilders and Models claim that if you were to compare your diet to your workouts it would be a 70/30 comparison. You must understand that your diet is just as important as your workouts. It can even be considered more important than your workouts. You could have the best workouts in the world but if your diet isn&#8217;t on the right track you won&#8217;t receive the results your expecting.</p>
<h1 style="text-align: center;"><strong>Now For Your Calorie Needs</strong></h1>
<p>Before you can know how many calories you need, you will have to first calculate your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) then combine your activity level. Your BMR is the minimum amount of energy your entire body needs to function, in the form of calories.</p>
<p>To calculate your BMR you must use this formula:</p>
<p><strong>Men:</strong><br />
66 + (6.3 x weight in pounds) +  (12.9 x height in inches) &#8211; (6.8 x age in years)</p>
<p><strong>Women:</strong><br />
655 + (4.3 x weight in pounds) + (4.7 x height in inches) &#8211; (4.7 x age in years)</p>
<p>Now that you have your BMR you have to complete the following equation by combining your activity level</p>
<ul>
<li>If you&#8217;re not active or irregularly physical: BMR x 20 percent</li>
<li>If you&#8217;re slightly active: BMR x 30 percent</li>
<li>If you&#8217;re moderately active (exercise 3-4 days a week.): BMR x 40 percent</li>
<li>If you&#8217;re very active (exercise daily):  BMR x 50 percent</li>
<li>If you&#8217;re beyond active (hard labor or in athletic training): BMR x 60 percent</li>
</ul>
<p>Add this number to your BMR and you will get your result. This result will also be the number of calories you can eat  every day and maintain your current weight.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #ff0000;">Now How Many Calories?</span></h3>
<p>To Burn Fat and Build Muscle &#8211; Consume 100-200 calories more than this result<br />
To Burn Fat and Lose Weight &#8211; Consume 500 calories less than this result<br />
To Build Muscle and Gain Weight &#8211; Consume 500 calories more than this result</p>
<p>As you lose or gain weight, you can re-calculate to assess your new BMR.</p>
