Planing Your Blueprint

Before you start writing your guide, you want to create a blueprint of how you’re going to do this. You want to create a master blueprint of each step that you’re going to take. One of the biggest mistakes that beginners make when creating a product, is the lack of planning.

Here’s a general product blueprint :

1) Picking the Niche
2) Finding the domain
3) Designing the website
4) Coding the website
5) Creating the sales pitch
6) Web merchant account
7) Affiliate marketing

Finding a domain

Now let’s go through the first 2 steps, which are probably the most important steps within this guide. Finding the right niche for a hungry market can be very difficult. After finding the niche, finding the domain is another step in terms of SEO (search engine optimization).

Let’s go through picking the niche first. You want to find a niche in which a lot of people are looking for, but also a niche that’s easy to rank on the search engines.

Now that we have our niche, we will need to find a domain name. I would recommend getting a domain name on either Godaddy, or Name.com.
We now want to find a domain that is relevant to our keyword(s) that we are trying to rank on the search engines. The reason why we want to rank on the top pages of the search engines, is so that we will be able to get targeted internet search traffic to our website in which will convert to sales.

I would recommend picking a domain without the dashes when creating a product, because this will make it look like an authority site. When finding a domain with one or multiple dashes, it doesn’t seem as professional as a domain without dashes. This is just my opinion, and I do recommend that you experiment with dashes or without dashes and seeing the difference.

Now that we have our domain, we will need to create the website, and the product.

Creating The Product

Now that we have our niche, and the domain for our niche, we will start by creating the product. Now if you have no idea how to copyright, or create an ebook or guide on the specific niche, what we can do is either hire someone, or do it ourselves. I would highly recommend hiring a professional(s) to create the eBook if you don’t know how to do it.

Depending on the product that you will be creating, you want to be able to fulfill the things that you mentioned in your sales pitch. For example, if you are going to sell a “run your car on water” product, then you will want to be able to explain to your customer how to make your car run
on water, and the steps required to do so. You can do this either by video, text, graphics, and other various sources of information in which you will feed to them.

What you want to do with your product is feed them the things that they will be satisfied with. They have purchased your product, and one of the things that you need to do is satisfy their needs in order to prevent refunds. You want to fill their minds with information, and things that you never knew, and possibly that they don’t know.

If you’re creating a weight loss product, don’t just create the ebook.
Add some videos, tutorials, and things that will make them feel like they’re getting a real bargain with everything that you’re going to give them. I have seen many many products in the past before get refunds after refunds because of the quality of the product. Sure their sales page can be phenomenal, but if their product sucks, then expect to give refunds.

Technique #13: The CPA ATM system

The auto-reply CPA system is one of the most commonly used and abused methods, although it doesn’t have to be this way necessarily if you use it the right way. Don’t forget that your main goal is to use legitimate and well appointed techniques, so you don’t have to do anything different here either.

According to this method, you can post an ad and have your email listed. Once people respond to this ad sending an email, they get an auto response that you have already created. The auto response includes an email that you have already written and features a simple CPA offer – depending on the original ad of course. If you posted an ad for a free kitten, then you could
go like this …

“Thanks so much for replying to my ad for the free kitten. I take small kittens that overwhelm their owners and I try to find them a loving home. I am out of the country right now but in the mean time, if you truly care about getting a small kitten in a loving, caring home I recommend getting this great resource. When I give little animals away I only want to give them to owners who understand what it takes to raise and take care of an animal.”

Then the link takes them to an eBook order page or some other type of affiliate program.
The offer could be an eBook, an affiliate program’s product, a service, whatever you are actually promoting. Your goal is to make the whole idea sound interesting and gripping enough.

You can use an eye catching title and just wait for emails to come. As we already mentioned the more imaginative you are, the more effective your ad and your auto response mail will be.

Technique #14: Torrents and CPA offers

There are thousands of people worldwide that use torrent sites to download their favourite games, movies and music albums.
You can get involved in this opportunity as well. You can choose a PC game that is fresh and has good potentials.
Pick something that is relatively popular, such as a simulation game, an action-adventure or a RPG.
You can then go back to the www.blogger.com website and create a blog about this pc game, offering a walkthrough or cheats that will help the gamers finish it or play it more easily.
You will be amazed if you check how many gamers actually do search for walkthroughs every day. You can then collect all these new suggestions, pieces of information and ideas in the
form of a folder, protected by password. You can upload it to rapidshare or any other download platform.

Make sure that you advertise the particular folder on your website- blog, describing what the actual content of this folder is.
Make sure that you inform the downloaders that the folder is password protected – come up with a good reason for that, i.e. that you don’t want the cheats to be detected. Then you need to add a link to the CPA offer – let’s say about mobile phones - and inform the potential visitors that the password is found in the second page of the website where the link takes them. You can say for instance that …

“Once you fill the form and add your zip code you will be able to see a new page with the specifications of the phones. The second word from the end is the password.”

The only thing they need to do, is to add their zip code, or any other data you might want, and they will be able to get the password for free. This requires them to fill a small form – nothing illegal there – which is your CPA offer and brings you some good money.

At the end you need to post the rapidshare link, where they can download the folder with the cheats or walkthrough that you have included. Make sure though that you use something to hide the actual source of the rapid share link; there are some websites that can help you with that, so check the tinyurl.com or the notlong.com.

YouTube Traffic Thieves - Part II

How to monetize the traffic:

1) Domain Parking

Note: THIS is a blackhat technique. In domain parking you just need a domain and a company will build a website for you with ads on it. When people enter and click ads, you are getting paid. Domain parking allow only type in traffic, without any influence from you, as you may know or not. This means that the visitors have to enter the website, writing in their browser your url. This can be exploited by using videos.

Why? Simple because they can not trace the source of traffic. All your traffic will be type in , meaning people typing in the url from your video. Make sure NOT to include any link in the description. This works flawlessly with adult traffic, which it is not allowed by adsense. You just use the techniques described above to drive traffic, and send them to domain parked pages.

They have no potential idea how to find your source of traffic. I have done this and never got banned from it. The only problem you may have is if you send them enormous traffic, without any conversions. But this happens with every service, if you send the crap traffic, they will bust you.
This is the simplest way to monetize youtube traffic and it works great. You do not need to pay for hosting or anything else, just for the domain. They will display ads, you can send also adult traffic, you get paid. That s it.

2 ) MADE FOR ADSENSE websites

A simple page with ads from adsense work perfectly in any niche. Make sure you send traffic, people are not finding what they want in your page, but they may find the answer in the ads, if you know what I mean. For instance, make a video saying if you want to make money online come here. Send them to a page, where there is an article about making money online, but not any real information, just some general shit.

They will be unsatisfied, and they will see those google ads with MAKE 1000000$ in 3 days. They will click them. Simple as that. Of course you can use this with pay per action or affiliate programs, and adsense as well, this way you will combine your source of traffic.

3 ) LEAD Generation

This means that the visitors are supposed to complete an offer for each you get paid.
Depending on what offers you choose to promote, you need to make different videos.
For instance, if you have an offer like win a free iphone, then you can go and make a videos with iphones and at the end put your ad with a link that redirects to your affiliate link.
Zip/ email submits work great, vote for a star, works great as well, almost anything.
You just have to be creative. For instance, if you just have made a video about
Jessica, say at the end: if you love Jessica, go and vote it here. (aff offer)

Make a video with the title: download fifa 2009 full here. Or download Bourne ultimatum here. Etc…
Make a few slideshow telling them if you want to download press the link in the description.

In the description place a link to a rapidshare file. The rapidshare file should contain a folder that should contain an encrypted file with a password, and a doc document.

The document should say something like this:

-In order to get the password, go to www.etc. com, here you put your affiliate link
-ZIP/Email submite, or complete the offer
-At the end of the offer the first word on the left is your password.

They will go, complete a free offer for each you get paid, and then have their password and download their stuff.
In order to ensure that nobody will comment something in the comments section that will give away the password, or will just say that is scam, MAKE SURE TO TURN OFF the comments.
You can always moderate them, but there is always better to just turn them off. No need to receive countless emails from youtube with their comments on the video.

4) AFFILIATE PRODUCTS

This method is very hard. It is very hard to sell to people that are coming to youtube to watch entertainment. The easiest way of selling them, is to collect their emails, and later on send them offers with affiliate products. For instance, tell them, if you are interested in weight loss products, then visit www. Etc. com , and here should be a squeeze page, where you can collect their email. Later on, you can send them emails and they will read it more carefully. You can always try to send them from the video to your aff links, and you may get some conversions, so try to experiment.

Another tip is to embed your url WITH AN EMAIL ADDRESS instead of an url. For instance, if you have just made a video about making money online, then tell them, if you are interested in talking to a real internet marketer, add me in your mess list with this id etc. You will build a list of POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS in your messenger address. Think a little, there you can mass send them message at your mercy, and your ad will be displayed in front of their eyes instantly, you can see how many are online, etc.. A good strategy of marketing that gives better results than the classical email marketing method , at least for me.

5) WEBSITES THAT PAY FOR YOUR VIDEO VIEWS

Imagine being able to promote your product and in the same time, being paid for this.
This works only if you own the full rights to a video. I am going to list the websites that are currently sharing revenue with their uploaders. Constant updates, as well as the latest tips and tricks will be displayed in the forums.

YouTube Traffic Thieves - Part I

DISCLAIMER: In my report, some of the techniques break the video producer copyrights or trademark. Try them on your own risk. I can not be held liable for any actions you may take after reading this report. This is for educational purposes only.

I will try to be as short as possible, without any bullshit techniques, i have seen paid youtube reports trying to explain how to watermark a video, or 20 pages of explanations how to upload a video on youtube, that's lame.

I will not include here simple things like how to download videos from youtube, how to watermark them, or how to upload videos to youtube. If you feel that you need help with these ones, please ask and I will do my best to help you out.

Gaining views to your video

Titles:

Make money online - very bad title
Make 100 000 $ online - it is better
How i made 100 000$ online - it is even better
How i made 101 437$ online in just 2 weeks - i would say this is the best

Sexy girl - very bad title
Sexy girl stripping - better
Sexy girl stripping for you - even better
Sexy girl stripping in front of a policemen - i would say this is the best

Keep in mind: do not use generic terms or generic numbers for a title, since that would not be credible. Use more exact details and people will pay more attention.
Other catchy phrases: Oh my god, THIS is insane, the WORST signer ever, usually demand attention from user. Be sure to include capitalization in your title, but not a full title written in caps letters. Just highlight the most important ones.

You can also use misleading titles: For instance you upload a trailer, but say:

“See the FULL movie here” People will enter to see the video like crazy.

Or, lets say you have a simply sexy strip video: You use phrases like the one mentioned above:

“Sexy girl stripping in front of a policemen” even if your video may be just a simple strip one. The idea is to make the visitors watch the video. Later in the report you will see how you can benefit from it.

Tags

Write as many tags till they will tell you that you have reached the maximum number of characters possible. Simple as that.

Description
First thing your description should contain your url with http://www in front of him Then press enter 4-5 times.
Shitload of text here, take one of those keyword research tools that generates results on an input keyword and copy paste plenty of text here. So far, youtube search engine is based on descriptions but it does not penalize word spam so to speak. This will drastically improve your rankings in the youtube search engine.

Thumbnail

At youtube the thumbnail is just the picture from exactly the middle of the video. Pay attention to this, a bad thumbnail can spoil your video. On the other hand, there are people who got thousands of views just from the fact that they used a misleading but appealing picture in the middle of the video, which appeared as their thumbnail.

Be the first to upload

One of the secret of gaining youtube views is to be the first one to upload a potential viral video. For instance, be the first one to upload a new trailer of a movie or of a game. Be the first one to upload the highlights from champion leagues. Be the first one to upload the latest celebrities’ spoofs. Try to take new videos from other websites and upload them fast to youtube.

Use the youtube search feature and choose to rank the videos by the most recent
uploaded. There you can see potential gem videos. Take them and reupload them and
use proper tags description and titles to make them viral and surpass the original
video.

You can use the same method but at another websites: see the most recent uploaded videos and reupload them at youtube with proper tags.
What i do. I search youtube for new sexy videos, when i see something good i download them and reupload them using extremely well defined tags, titles, and descriptions. After this, I go back and flag the original uploaded video from different accounts as being adult and breaking youtube TOS. Youtube removes that video and there is plenty of space for me to gain the views. Another trick from here: Have an established youtube account, old and with plenty of views. This way, if you upload a shady video, your account is not going to get banned, just the video will be removed.

If a new account uploads an adult video and is flagged, youtube tends to ban the account as well not only the video. If an established account uploads an adult video and is flagged, the video is removed, but the account is not deleted.
Another benefit of established youtube accounts is that you appear more often on
related videos, or more videos by this user and you get more exposure.

How to get honours on youtube?

I have seen recently this only technique being sold for 19$. It is very simple and can be made in 2 different ways:

The first one is to purchase a software on the market that auto comments and auto rates on your video. Tube automator, or tubeinator as I remember where doing this.
You may want to check out in the forum for these scripts as well. You will get plenty of comments and 5 star rates on your video, so your video is going to be honoured as the most voted and the most discussed within its category.

The second one is too make multiple accounts and comment and rate your video manually. This might sound very hard, but the reality is that you need very less comments and stars to get featured as many people do not bother with this.
It is useful sometimes as it can give your video straight thumbs up, but it is not an earth shaker.

Another thing that you can do is to appeal to the people sentiments in order to comment and star your video. For instance, if you have made a video about your dog, say in the video, if you liked this dog please rate and comment. If you put a sexy video say, if you like her, please rate and comment. If you have put a movie trailer, say if you have seen the movie, please rate and comment. This will increase the conversions to your website.

Now, as a matter of fact what are the videos that are usually viewed and go viral:

-sexy
-funny, comedy
-drama = shock, bad accidents, stuff like that
-cute = babies, pets, etc..
-latest games, movies, shows etc.

Why ONLY youtube? There are plenty of other videos websites.

How to convert viewers into visitors:

There are several facts that need to be keep in mind

-First one: COMPLETELY watermark the video with your url. This means from beginning till the end, not just beginning, not just the end, not just in the middle.
Completely. Because there will be other people who will just take your video, edit it and remove your credits, and then add their own credits in order to gain traffic. By completely watermarking the url, you avoid this.

-Second one: Make use of the TOS restrictions in order to drive traffic to your website. For instance youtube videos forbids the adult videos. You can just take a soft sexy video, and at the end of the video, say: “Youtube TOS forbids us from showing more. Please visit our site to see more”

Or you can just take an adult video, cut the introduction part where there is no nudity, and upload that one, with the same message. This is REALLY a killer, you will get plenty of traffic using it. Most of the users are looking for adult videos on youtube, but they can not find them. When you will display such a message, be sure they will become your visitors. You will learn more how to monetize the traffic and this kind of traffic later on in the report.

Or, another example: upload a trailer of a movie, this is legally, and at the end say:
“In order to see the full movie online, visit www.etc.com”. You will later learn how to monetize this kind of traffic.

-Third one: Give them just a little of what they want, and at the end of the video redirect them to your website to see everything. For instance, let s say you just upload a video of a kid walking on a street, when a bus is coming towards him. STOP it before the end, and display the message: YOU wanna see what happens next? Visit www. Etc. com

Another example: Upload a video of a people near a lion, crocodile, elephant, everything. Suddenly, the animal is getting nervous,- you can get plenty of such video on youtube, - and starts to attack the owner. You stop the video before the attack and say: You wanna see what is next? Visit www. Etc. com

Another example: lets say you just downloaded the highlights from a famous soccer game, all the goals and misses everything. Lets say the score was 3-2 . Cut the video and make separate video for each goal. And then upload each goal with the message at the end: if you want to see the full highlights and the other goals, visit us.

The examples are countless. You can check in the forum and share ideas with other people about what work, and what does not.

-Fourth one: Prolong the end of the video and watermark it with your url. What does that means? It means that at the end of the video , there will be like 30 seconds of a background and just your url displayed there. Why is this useful? Since at the end of the video, youtube and other websites display advertisements or related videos thumbnails. IF you just made a video trying to send your visitor to your website, and he sees those advertisments, he may be distracted. By putting a black blackground just with your url on it, you assure that nothing will distract your viewer, at least for the time he is looking there.

Introduction

Throughout the internet, there will be various niches to fill, in which we will make money with. After this series posts, you will be able to create and promote products to fill a certain niche, and ultimately generate a steady solid income flow from these product creations.

What I will go through this guide is simple, straight to the point methods in which you can start your own product with the least amount of time. If done correctly, you should be able to push out a product and start earning an income within the next week.

Now without further ado and excess fluff, let’s get on to the product creation guide …

Filling a Niche

One of the most important aspects in making money online, is finding a niche, and filling it. Now let me explain what a niche is. The definition of a niche, is “a position particularly well suited to the person who occupies it”.

What does this mean in layman’s term? This means that we need to find something that people are hungry for. We need to find out what’s hot in the market, and what people want and need.

There are many popular and saturated niches on the internet that people have been trying to promote for years on the internet such as the “weight loss” niche. What I’m going to show you, how you can find a popular niche, in which you can use to profit from.

Google 101

Now for those who are not familiar with google and the competition levels of certain niches, I am going to go through the basics of finding out a niche’s competition. First thing we want to do when finding a niche is finding out whether or not we will be able to compete with our competitors for certain keywords. For example, if we type in the keywords “weight loss” on google, we can see from the figure below that this keyword is oversaturated, and very difficult to compete with.

When finding a niche, we want to be able to rank for that niche’s particular keyword term. I would say that a good niche to start up as a beginner is something with less than 100,000 search results on Google. Let me explain why we want to find a keyword with less than 100k search results. Usually it is harder to rank for the number one spot on google if the keyword search term is highly competitive. It is usually easier to rank for the number one spot for a certain keyword if the competition is scarce.

Now we will go more in depth with determining your competition for a certain keyword. Let’s use NicheBotClassic.com to help us search for a niche’s hunger. We want to find out how many people are searching for our niche each day. After entering a keyword, and searching NicheBotClassic, we will find a list in which we can see how many people are searching for specific terms each day.

Now we have a general idea of what people have been typing in on the search engines, and how many times per day. What we want to do is find our competition on google. We do this, by finding our keyword, and putting them in parenthesis like “weight loss”. This will bring up our competition level on that particular keyword.

In this case, our competition with the keyword “weight loss” is very HIGH (66 million). We want to find a competition with less than 10-50k search results. This way we will be able to rank high on the search engines, and later on get more traffic and make more money.

Technique #11: Forums and Social Bookmark

Let’s use the same example as before about mobile phones.
You need to create a website, and make up a domain name that refers to cell phones. That could be whatever is free and easy, such as the www.Getafreephone.info . Your job is to generate leads and traffic. Your offers should be enough, once you get the traffic that you need.

Make a really good offer. For instance, you can advertise that you will be offering one of the new and fancy mobile phones once per month for free to those who sign up. The words Free phone (Iphone for examplee) is what will bring traffic to your website.

People like offers and they like free things even more. You can even create banners and flyers and leave them at the local café and other public places where people can find them and see them. It is easy to do, so you should definitely try the method of free offers. It will multiply your traffic within a short period of time, and that will multiply your earned money.

And if you worry about giving a free phone each month, worry not, because with all the money you will be making, this won’t be a problem at all. On the contrary, you will be delighted to see that it works perfectly fine.

Technique #12: Taking Advantage of Searches

If you have visited Yahoo, you have seen this little tab on the right side with the title ‘Popular Searches’. This indicates what people are mostly looking for and what they want to see in a website. The popular searches usually refer to celebrities, actors and singers, movies, awards or events and gossips of all kinds. You might haven’t thought about it, but you can actually take advantage of these popular searches and use them to make some money.

For instance you can check which movies are the most popular for the moment; Slumdog Millionaire, the Dark Knight, the Jonas Brothers DVD are some of the top selling movies right now. Why should that interest you?

It should actually interest you because these keywords – referring to the movie titles – will be among the top searches in all lists. That means that you might be able to get some very cheap Pay per click advertisements, especially if you opt for movies or events that are announced but haven’t happened or released yet.

These are the ones which are expected to get additional traffic in the future, once they are out; if you are pro active and you have already invested on them you are most likely to make huge money easily, taking advantage of the fame and reputation of other people. Why not? It’s simple and effective.

You can simply set up a regular pay per click campaign and create your blog at one of the main blogging platforms, such as the blogger.com. If you create some small and interesting posts that link at www.socialposter.com or www.socialmarker.com you will be able to get huge traffic.

The only thing you will need to do is to create a single page that asks for people to tell their opinion by participating in a simple poll.

Do you think this is a good movie? Do you think that it will get to the Oscars? Simple questions that are fun and easy are always interesting and gripping for people. Whether they vote for yes or no, you will have them redirected to your CPA offer, which can offer a free DVD, or that free mobile phone that we talked about earlier. Don’t forget that the free offer should always be visible, because this is something that will get much attention and traffic.

Pay per Click or Pay Per view are quite popular and common models today. You can visit www.Zango.com which is a really entertaining website. It is a download site with ads. You can simply sign up and join the website and post your ad. The following extract comes from the www.Zango.com website itself and will give you a good idea of what it is all about:

This is one of the most desired win-win cases, as the visitors have fun playing games and watching videos and the advertisers can make some good money promoting their products to people who are actually interested in what they see. Don’t forget that creating well targeted ads is an important part of the advertising campaign. You cannot expect to get attention on a product or service if you advertise in a completely hostile or irrelevant environment.

It is also known that you have to use some popular platforms that will help you acquire some good traffic; why not write a small and interesting article on your niche and publish it on Ezine or eHow or ArticlesBase?

You can add a CPA offer in your resource box and invite people to visit the website and get advantage of the offer. Do not forget that good offers usually go from mouth to mouth, or from email to email. If you manage to start the viral effect, you will be more than happy with the results. FIRST OFF: I see too many people trying to just make money. They're only in it for the money and only want to make some sales.

This is a big problem. Why?

No one comes online looking to randomly buy things. Everyone is looking for an answer to a problem they're having or looking for a solution to something. Remember.. your job is not to make a sale but to solve someone's problem and in turn.. that is what will make you a sale.

So what do you need to make money online?

#1: You need a clue.
Anyone can search google for answers to making money online, but you've got to have an understanding of what you're doing or you'll always be running around searching for answers.

#2: You need a plan/idea.
Brainstorm! You need to have a mapped out vision in your head of your business. Do you plan on purchasing a domain and starting a product on dog health care, buying domains and selling them, selling home made materials on e-bay, writing articles, etc. There are so many options out there for what you want to do, but you've got to have an idea and a plan before you can start making money. Brainstorm in your head and think to yourself..

"What am I good at?"
"What am I knowledgeable about?"
"What is something I really enjoy doing/talking about?"
"How do I plan on providing information on this product?"

#3: You need a website.
Unless you plan on marketing to forums and groups (which isn't a very well played out business plan) you need to establish a website. Before you start thinking "I have no money for a website". You can always start a blogger - www.blogger.com

If you're looking at starting a website, I would highly recommend Host Gator to beginners and novice marketers. The options of managing/running your website are great and at such a low cost, it's hard for me to refuse Host Gator when ever I plan on getting a website.

Hosting at Host Gator starts out at $4.95 so this is great for a beginner's website or just starting out.

Now comes the part I had trouble with when I began. Website Design/Website creation. I am not a HTML savvy guy.. believe me. While I am sure there are many sources you could hire for you to create your website, I believe everyone should learn to create their own material at one point or another.

You need a website with an easy design/layout because anything hard to read or something that doesn't look professional will have a much lower conversion rate than what you hope for.

Remember, when you're writing your sales copy/creating your product... you're speaking out to people that have a problem and are in need of a solution.

Do you see what I am saying? You have to speak to people in the certain niche you're trying to sell in, because you're trying to fix a problem someone has or answer a question that someone has.

In my opinion, fear and hype are two of the biggest sellers there are.

Trying to sell a vehicle? Examine your audience.. a young man will be interested in something fast and loud and will want to impress the ladies in his hot new ride. You have to know who you're selling too and get them hyped, because a hungry crowd always comes back for more.

Don't get me wrong now.. I am not saying a website is the only way you will ever make money period, I am just saying that this is probably the best way to create an automated source of income.

#4: Patience/Consistence.
If making money online was as easy as snapping your fingers.. everyone would be e-millionaires.
So many people quit trying once they find out how much work is actually involved in creating an online business and being good at what you do. You have got to keep consistent.

You've got a killer website but no sales, why not?
Get inside your market's head and view your website not from your point of view but theirs. Do not think "how will this make me money" but "will this solve my problem"?

Be consistent and always add new fresh content and possibly new products to keep your customers/readers coming back for more. A hungry crowd can never get enough no matter how much they spend.

Now then, here are some suggestions as to when you do get a business up and running, but are not mandatory.

E-MAIL LISTS!

If someone opts in to your e-mail list.. chances are.. they're interested in what you've got or curious. A lot of websites don't offer a chance to opt in to an e-mail list and a lot of money is to be made off this. A lot of people who see a website once won't purchase something because they simply don't know the source. A couple of e-mails possibly sending out some free methods/tactics or newsletters might change Curious George into a buyer.

Remember.. Internet Marketing is not an overnight task.

You can either sell your own or someone else's product.

If you're new to the game.. I don't recommend purchasing any products, because I guarantee you that 75% of the information you just paid for can be found on a forum or a blog like this one for free.

The more consistent you are, the more determined you are, the more it will show. Don't give up just because you don't hit the lottery over night because like I said.. if making money online was truly "That easy", everyone would be doing it.

I get a lot of interest in my articles about Google Adsense on Blogger Blogspot blogs. In this article I discuss 6 common myths about Google Adsense that will help you get real about placing Adsense on your Blogger blog.

Google Adsense Myths Every Blogspot Bloggers Needs to Know

There are a number of myths about Google Adsense which can lead new bloggers in particular into believing that they need only slap a few Google Ad units on their blog and they will become instant millionaires. The reality can be a lot different especially when you consider that 95% of all blogs receive less than 100 visitors per day. Adding Google Adsense to your blog can generate some income but there is a need to be realistic. Here are 6 myths about Google Adsense that every blogger needs to know:

Myth 1. Google Adsense is a Get Rich Quick Scheme

False. Only a small percentage of bloggers actually make a living from their blog. It is definitely possible to make some money from Google Adsense Ad units but bear in mind that making money from your blog is commensurate with many factors such as types of advertising, placement of advertising, quality of your content, regular posting, number of articles, SEO, backlinks to your site, number of visitors to your blog to name just a few. The more articles you write, the more posts indexed in search engines like Google and Yahoo which may lead to increased traffic but not necessarily. The bottom line is that for your ads to be effective your blog needs to receive traffic so concentrate your efforts in this area and make sure that your blog is worth visiting once your visitors get there.

Do Your Sums

As Google Adsense itself says it is difficult to predict earnings however there are some general pointers to guide you. For instance if your blog receives 100 visits per day your likely revenue from Google is probably about 10 cents per day assuming that 1 in 100 people click on some form of Google advertising on your site and the page CTR is about 0.20%. Over a year that equates to about $36.50. Not a fortune in anyone's book. Likewise if your blog is fortunate enough to receive 1000 visitors per day you are looking at an annual income from Google Adsense of $365.00.

100 Visitors per day = Earnings $36.50 per year

1000 Visitors per day = Earnings $365.00 per year

5000 Visitors per day = Earnings $1825.00 per year

10000 Visitors per day = Earnings $3650.00 per year

The above figures are an optimistic view. I have not allowed for the fact that many of your visitors will be repeats so the likelihood of a repeat visitor clicking on an ad unit is less than for that of a new visitor. On this basis your earnings could be much less.

Google Adsense and Affiliate Marketing

About 95% of Bloggers would have less than 100 visitors to their blog a day. If your blog is in this category then Google Adsense alone will not allow you to quit your job and become a full-time blogger. You will need to display other forms of advertising on your blog as well before your blog will start to pay. Check out my article on other forms of advertising that may be suitable for your Blogger blog including displaying Affiliate Marketing banners.

Affiliate marketing banners can work as a form of advertising. Consider that if 1 site visitor in 100 actually buys something worth $50.00 you will immediately earn $5.00 assuming you receive 10% of the sale as a commission. Even if only one in 500 clicks through to the merchant and buys something you will still be ahead of the revenue earned from Google ads for the same number of visitors. $5.00 from Affiliate Marketing versus 50 cents from Google Adsense. In many ways Affiliate Marketing is a more profitable marketing strategy than having heaps of Google ads on your blog. However, in my experience a good mix of both is the way to go

Myth 2. Displaying More Ads on My Blog Will Earn More Money

False. Some bloggers mistakenly believe that placing more Google Adsense units on their blog will yield higher earnings. Sadly this isn't the case at all. By putting more Ad units on your blog you may actually reduce your earnings. There is a risk that the highest performing Ad units will shift to positions that are less frequently clicked on. For instance while the top right hand corner is a prime place for an advertising banner because it gets viewed by the most eyeballs it is also a spot that tends to get disregarded by savvy visitors who recognise it as an advertising zone and avoid it. At the same time a 336x280 Ad unit with a higher CTR is likely to display Google Ad units which pay less because the highest CTR has been transferred to the 468x60 Ad unit.

Myth 3. More Traffic Equates to Higher Google Adsense Earnings

Not necessarily. Depending on your blog's content it might not always be possible to drive a lot of new visitors to your blog and you rely more heavily on your repeat traffic. However, due to the familiarity of the ad placement on your blog repeat visitors are less likely to click on your Ad units than new visitors. While you can expect more clicks on your ad units as traffic increases there is no guarantee that Google Adsense on your blog will deliver the kind of earnings you might expect.

Myth 4. The Ad Format of Google Adsense Ads is Not Important

False. The ad format you display on your blog is very important. You can earn more from some ad formats than others. For instance it is generally considered that the wide Google Adsense ads (336x280, 300x250 or 250x250) perform best. I like to position one of these directly above my first post.

Link units can be profitable too if strategically placed. One of the best locations for link units is in or just below your blog header as many people are used to looking there for a navigation menu. A 728x15 linked ad unit just below your horizontal navigation menu will very likely yield good results.

Myth 5. Placement of Google Adsense Ad Units Doesn't Matter

On the contrary where you place Google Adsense can be critical to earning revenue from your blog. One of the best places to position Adsense is above what's known as the fold. The fold is the top area of your blog visible to your visitors without them having to scroll down. A 336x280 ad unit in this space works well because on arrival at your blog the visitor sees what they are looking for and clicks on it. For instance if your blog is about mountain biking then Google Adsense will very likely serve up ads about cycling equipment, cycling tours etc. For the visitor seeing exactly what they are interested in on arrival is a definite bonus which may lead them to click on your Ad unit.

Myth 6. To Make Money from My Blog I Need to Add Google Adsense

False. While Google Adsense is by far the most popular Advertising Network it is not the only advertising option. There are some good alternatives like AdBrite and Chitika. Let the type of blog you have govern your decisions around which advertising mix you employ rather than just going for Google Adsense because its the easiest.

This article will hopefully help you do a reality check and help you recognise that while you may be one of the 5% of bloggers sitting on a goldmine Google Adsense won't transform you into a millionaire overnight.

How to Add a Paypal Donate Button to Blogger

If you want to make a few bucks from all the hard work you are putting into your blog then consider adding a Paypal donate button to your Blogger Blogspot blog. Adding a donation button will encourage all those happy readers to say a big thank you for helping them out. Not everyone will donate but you will get the odd generous soul who will willingly donate some chump change to shout you a coffee.

In this tutorial we will be adding a gadget to the Blogger sidebar but we won't be changing the template. Skill level is rated easy.

1. Get yourself a Paypal account if you don't already have one

2. Login to your Paypal account

3. Click on the Merchant Services tab

4. Choose Donations from the list of key features displayed in the right sidebar of the PayPal Website Payments Standard Option (first of 3 payment solutions)

5. From the Paypal Create a Payment Button screen choose Donation from the dropdown menu at Step 1. if it is not already selected.

6. Stick with the default button unless you wish to customize it

7. Choose your currency depending on your needs and location

8. Choose Donors enter their own contribution amount radio button unless you want to have a set amount

9. Ensure the Secure Merchant ID radio button is selected. This will prevent spammers getting hold of your email address

10. At Step 2 it is worth saving your button

11. At Step 3 Customize your checkout page by allowing donors to write a short comment by selecting the Yes radio button to special instructions to seller

12. Select the No radio button for Customer's Shipping Address

13. Select the Create Button button

14. Once Paypal creates the donate button code copy it by right clicking your mouse and choosing copy

15. Logout of Paypal

16. Login to Blogger if you are not already logged in

17. Go to Layout > Page Elements

18. Click on the Add a Gadget link in the sidebar

19. Choose HTML/Javascript widget from the list provided

20. Paste the button code into the Content box of the dialog box that appears by placing the mouse inside the box and right clicking the mouse and then paste

21. Select a title like "Buy Me a Beer!" or whatever you would like

22. Click on the Save button

23. Drag and drop your new donation gadget into the spot you want it to appear in

24. Click the Save button to ensure your changes are saved

25. Click View Blog to see your new donate button in the sidebar of your Blogger blog

26. Click on your new donate button and you will be taken to the Paypal Checkout screen

Blogging is simply putting your content on a different platform. It is not just a diary, a gimmick or cheap party trick.
Thought they certainly didn’t start out that way, blogs are incredibly useful content management systems when set up properly.

If you are marketing on the web and you don’t have a blog, you will always be beaten down by your competition. You cannot get ahead by using the tools of Web 2.0 without a blog, period.

Beyond a shadow of a doubt, blog content management systems are the darling of the search engines today, especially Google, the #1 search engine on the web.
A blog platform allows you to do things no one else in your market can do with shopping cart and static sites.

Using the platform I use (on many websites I have) to publish online means you don’t just have a web site, you have a search engine magnet and an interactive community builder that will drive targeted, willing-to-buy visitors to your site.
Read on to get up to speed on absolutely the most effective (free) blogging platform you should be on, along with the tools you must use to make that platform perform and drive traffic.

Wordpress

To be an authority you need to run content on a platform that allows for everything Web 2.0 marketing strategies offer us.
We don’t recommend you send all this traffic to anything less than a site that allows you to live up to Web 2.0 customer expectations.

If people find your content on a hip, relevant, interactive, widget-ized Web 2.0 site and they come to your flat, lifeless, hosted blog at some weak blog platform or some other piece of junk, your credibility and their stay on your site are both going to be short lived!

“But Matt Cutts uses Blogger.com!”
Uh yeah, he’s freakin’ Matt Cutts!

Matt could publish on a roll of toilet paper and get more traffic than us mere mortals!
To be able to run the widgets, plugins and do the SEO work you need to do while improving your traffic flow and user experience, such as using the MyBlogLog.com widget, for example, you need a robust and powerful content management system.

But it goes way beyond that. Way beyond.

You need to be able to plug into the open source communities’ ability to create a widget or plugin on demand that will enhance your marketing, conversion, and readership.

Wordpress has more plugins available from third party programmers and more people who program plugins than for any other system out there (there aren’t but a handful of blog systems you can even program plugins or custom “widgets” for anyway.)

This is why I use Wordpress as the base of our authority site publishing system at 99% of my websites.
Though we’ve done more than anyone else on the planet to tweak Wordpress capabilities and turn it into what we call “Wordpress Master” with Post and Rank™ technology, the Wordpress base allows us to do what no other blogging CMS would.

Therefore, if you are going to do all the work involved with plugging into Web 2.0 and harnessing the traffic-driving, ranking-raising power of social marketing, we believe it is a shame to waste time on anything other than the best, even if you have to port your content into Wordpress from another blog platform you currently use.

It would be very much worth the trouble.

Now, to take it a step further, it would be a shame to use Wordpress “out of the box” and some free plugins and only get so far with your promotion efforts. There is a “glass ceiling” over what you can accomplish with Wordpress out of the box and free plugins.

(The ceiling is higher than any other, but it is still there and you are going to knock your head against it eventually after using the tactics in this blog to promote your site!)

Finally, do not get pulled into another blogging system because of its fans. They are just loyal fans of the system they publish on. They have no idea, nor the technical ability to know, how much better Wordpress is if they haven’t used it.
We have tested Wordpress against all other blogging platforms and WP just annihilates them all in the engines.

(Of course we know how to use WP to the Nth degree, so we often beat other Wordpress sites with the same topic focus just because we know how to tune it to rock the engines.)

Technique #9 Make Money With www.WebEx.com

If you hear about some simple ideas, do not underestimate them. Some of them might be actually so simple and so brilliant at the same time, that will leave you astounded.

First thing first, please apply to become an affiliate at http://affiliates.webex.com/

The Meet me now product for example, can be found at www.Webex.com . It is a place where people meet and agree on doing business, or simply consult with each other – it’s something like an online conference room. You can join the team as an affiliate; you start promoting the product in a free trial and you can get 10$ per offer, but if the sale is made you will get 35$ each.

This is a place where people have managed to make some good money. When you join this website, you are starting a coaching program for free. The only thing that you need to do, is to persuade the students you coach to join using the www.Webex.com . The good part is that even if someone starts with the trial program and stops after a while, you will still get paid.

The idea behind this program is that not everyone who starts with internet marketing might know as much as you do, thus, there will be people willing to follow a coaching program for free. In any case, when you set up a program like that you offer them answers to their questions, so there are people who are more than willing to do what you are suggesting them.

Even if you decide to skip the coaching program, you can promote the product, getting 10$ per lead. It’s not bad at all…

Technique #10 : How to Work with Forums and CPA

CPA offers work perfectly, but if you promote them the right way you can actually make even more money easily. Did you know that many people make money just by sending and adding messages in forums? There are social networks, such as the digital point and twitter, or Facebook that allow personal messages.

Some companies pay $20 - $200 a lead. So it’s easy to come as being helpful to people and still get paid.

Some advertisers post messages to the members of the forums, advertising in a simple and not spammy way some of their offers and products. The best idea is to join either big social networks, or some particular ones, specializing in your niche. If for instance you are promoting something related to poker or sports, it is a good idea to search for the networks and forums that deal with this subject.

Some forums that you can add your signatures to are:

www.forums.digitalpoint.com , www.ewealth.com, www.sitepoint.com + others. You can find big forums in your interests by going to http://www.big-boards.com/

Once you find a few of them, you can join and start chatting with the other members. It is quite easy to do so, but even if you don’t have enough time, you can hire a couple of freelancers for very cheap (www.Elance.com , or www.GetAFreelancer.com, or www.GetACoder.com ) even more depending on your needs, who can do this job for you.

Sometimes you don’t even need to send personal messages.

Having a small banner with a catchy title and a link is all what you need.

Once you sign up you need to check which threads are the most popular ones, and which are getting more traffic. You will just have to participate in the conversations there without selling or directly promoting anything. You should use a well appointed and gripping signature to do the job for you.

One little tip that has helped many people get attention is this; depending on the niche and the subject of the forum, you can follow some of the top daily or weekly news and use some of the things you heard in the discussion.

For instance, if you are participating in a forum about mobile phones, you need to add to the conversation something that you read recently; let’s say some news about the new ecological mobile phone that the company X introduced during the recent Mobile Phone Conference. You have to start a discussion about a current issue that you know that can get people’s attention.

Collecting interest to your post means collecting views to your signature which is anyway, the major goal here. If you are upto it, or know the forum administrator, you can ask him to make a serious post of yours sticky, so that it appears always on the front page and gets views all the time. If you talk about something that interests many people, it is most likely that they will click on the signature, or check the website that you are advertising there.

It is that simple sometimes, if you are smart enough, or if you simply know how to do it ;-)

Another good idea is to check websites such as Answers.com or Yahoo Answers. They allow people to answer questions asked by other users and leave a resource link. You can easily find a question that refers to your niche and leave your link as a resource link.

Tips For Making A Web 2.0 Blog Post – CRITICAL!

I wanted to spell out how to create and market a blog post with a Web 2.0 twist. There are, of course, several different ways to market your latest blog post. Below I have outlined a step-by-step strategy for marketing your latest blog post using Web 2.0 sites.

1. Your ping list has to be in order. Check out the recommended ping list if you don’t have a ping list you are happy using. The first part of marketing your post starts with your ping list. Plain and simple. You can also list your blog or website in RSS directories, here is a good list: 42 RSS Directories to list your blog.

2. You must tag your post. Simple Tags is a required plugin for Wordpress blogs. (Wordpress 2.2+ has tagging but the general consensus is that it “sucks”) Simple Tags will allow you to categorize content based on a tagging engine. Without a doubt, Simple Tags is one of the most powerful Wordpress plugins. Each time you make a post add your keywords as tags at the bottom of your post as well as to your Wordpress pages.

3. Tag Technorati throughout your post. For example, this post is about Web 2.0 and blog posts. Using this approach will keep your posts at or near the top of the list at Technorati. There’s a really killer plugin called Tagalize-It that makes tagging throughout your posts really simple.

4. Your post is pinged and tagged properly. Now what? Time to syndicate your post and generate some immediate traffic. Some clarification is necessary here. Web 2.0 sites normally have 2 types of functions. Either they act as bookmarking sites like Del.icio.us or they act as story submission sites like Digg where users vote on the quality of story.

Make sure that when you sign up for accounts at places like StumbleUpon.com or Propeller.com, you look for the buttons they give you to put on your browser so you can easily submit content from your site and elsewhere without logging in to each site manually.

The Importance of Authority on the Web …

In the beginning, it wasn’t that hard to become an authority site. Of course, people weren’t monetizing their sites in any significant way in the early years either.
Once the word got out that someone (whoever it was) was making money with their site, the massive gold rush began that continues today.

But there is one fact that is as true today as it was in the beginning: most people are lazy and unwilling to work to achieve great things with a real online business. Which is to your advantage.

And the most honest, upstanding, even church-going people in the real world will turn into cheating, conniving, cut throat black hat marketers and scam artists online if they think they will get away with it.

Though they wouldn’t mug someone in the real world, if they read a sales letter that essentially sold information on how to pick pocket every visitor to their site (and they thought they wouldn’t be caught) more people than you might think would do it without hesitation.

7 Days to Crush your Competition - Day 7

Today is going to be like an all-day cocktail party, but you can go in your pajamas.

It’s time for shameless self-promotion — the online equivalent of schmoozing at a networking event.

The idea here is to find other people who are interested in your products and services. You want to help them and be friend them, but mostly you want them to help you drive traffic to your Website, your HubPages hub, your Squidoo lens and your other pages.

Start by looking for the top-rated Squidoo entry for your niche. This means clicking on the keywords you cleverly selected, which should show up on the sidebar. You’ll be redirected to a ranked list of relevant entries.

Click on the first one and read it. Comment on the story, then invite them to check out your relevant lens or your profile page.

Each of the other sites has a similar comment system, so repeat this process at HubPages, 43things, etc.

You will be making new friends on these community news sites by throwing around your thoughtful and heartfelt praise. You will also boost traffic to your hubs and ultimately your Web site.

You don’t need to spend too much time on each response, but make sure your comment does not sound like generic comment spam. Really read the entries and respond accordingly.

Also, be careful where you post these comments. Most of the community Web sites have options for sending private messages to users or posting public comments below the article. Make sure you post your comments publicly. Comments are among the most widely read sections of Web 2.0 sites. This means a clever comment with an enticing link can bring even more readers to your site.

Spend about eight hours sending these comments. Then get ready to keep working.
What, you thought you got to kick back and wait for the money to roll in? Not likely. Tomorrow you’ll read the shampoo bottle part of my marketing plan.

Shampoo, rinse, repeat

You think you’re done. You are wrong. Nothing is ever that easy. I gave you a weekly plan, but kind of like your shampoo instructions, I want you to repeat every step — four times.

Yep, this is going to take you one month. Every week for one month, you need to
start over, but with a little twist.

This time, open your Web site’s cpanel, look at awstats and see if Google has brought you any traffic. If so, it will tell you the keywords used to find your site. Are there enough searches every month to make it worth your while to target that keyword? When you search for the keyword on Google, where do you rank on the results list?

What are some other keywords you would like Web surfers to use in finding your site? Using our butter example, do we want “low fat butter alternative” to lead to our Web site? Would you like to target that? Does it get enough searches? What is your competition?

Once you find the answers, repeat the whole weeklong process again with a different keyword. Even if it happens to be a long-tailed keyword.

Just do it. You’re sure to see more hits at the end of each week.

Fill in the ‘advertise on Facebook’ page. The first requirement is for your affiliate ID.

Create your advert with a title of not more than 25 words, the advert text body of not more than 135 words, and add an image from your site. Make sure your title starts with the ‘Free articles, video’ etc.

Target the people to whom your advert goes. Facebook advertising is smart advertising in this. How to Make Money with Google Adsense ?

Google AdSense is the Google program where you can host pay-per-click ads on your Website. When someone clicks an ad, you earn money. Simple as that.

Is it really as easy to make money with Google AdSense as many would lead you to believe? Now that I've become heavily involved with managing Google AdSense programs for my clients, I can see it's not all play and no work.

Unfortunately, a lot of people bought into the idea that there was a lot of easy money to be made and they are now finding out they aren't making nearly as much as they thought they would. Additionally, Google has a lot of prohibited practices when it comes to AdSense, and too many Webmasters are finding out they violated Google's policies after the fact - often because they never bothered to read the AdSense policies in the first place.

Webmasters must not only comply with AdSense policies, but their Websites must also comply with Google's webmaster policies.

Prerequisites for Making Money with AdSense

To make money with Google AdSense you need plenty of traffic coming in to your site or there won't be anyone to click the ads. Website promotion techniques, especially search engine optimization and article marketing will bring more traffic to your site. You also need to have content that will attract the ads with the highest Pay Per Click (PPC) rate that are relevant to that content. Then, you need to lay out your web pages so the ads blend in with your site.

Studies have revealed that people who visit sites that contain ads that use colors that are not in harmony with the actual Web site tend to develop "ad blindness". Meaning no matter how much traffic comes into your site, chances are no one will click the ads because they'll be ignoring them. If no one clicks, you make nothing.

Dealing with Competitors' Advertisements

If you offer products or services on your Website, the first thing you'll notice when you begin hosting PPC ads is that many of the ads are coming from your competitors. Therefore, you'll want to put ads on pages that aren't earning you any money, or do like I did and not put ads on your site until you're so busy anyway you'd rather make a few dollars off of your competitors than to continue turning business away with nothing to show for it.

Google AdSense allows you to specify up to 200 URLs for sites you want to bar from placing ads on your pages. The problem is that most times you won't know the competitors are out there until their ads appear.

Google Money Making Ad Options

Google offers three ways to make money from them:

Google AdSense for Content - A variety of size and shape ads for placing in your content are available. These can be text or image ads or both - you specify what you'll allow. Ad units are full ads. Link units are simply a strip of text links that your visitors might want to click. Google allows you to put up to 3 Ad Units and 1 Link unit on each page of your Web site, provided you follow its policies - both for AdSense and for Webmasters.

Google AdSense for Search - This places a search box on your Web site. When a user enters a term and conducts a search, a search results page opens, that hosts more pay-per-click ads. You can customize the color scheme of the search results page to harmonize with your web site.

Google Referrals - Here you make money by referring visitors to use a Google product, like AdSense, AdWords, the Google Toolbar and other Google software. Just like Google AdSense for Content and AdSense for Search, Google generates the code that you paste into the desired location on your web page. You can choose from a wide variety of buttons and text links of different colors. As an example of how Google Referrals works, if someone goes to your site and clicks the link and signs up for an AdSense account, when that person earns a $100 from Google AdSense and receives a payout from Google, you'll also receive $100 for referring them. This is a great idea to me, because you can be the world's worst Google AdSense advertiser, but if an ad dynamo happens to visit your site and uses your referral link, you can make money anyway!

Google AdSense Payments

Google will not issue an AdSense payment until your earnings exceed $100. Unfortunately, there are loads of Google AdSense Forum entries about website operators who accumulated $90 or more in click through earnings only to get banned from Google and not get paid anything at all before they ever reached $100. This may be because Google doesn't take a close look to see if you're complying with their guidelines until it comes time to pay you. So yes, there's a lot more to the story than meets the eye.

Other Programs Besides AdSense

Yahoo and MSN have similar programs, although those programs aren't as well-developed as Google AdSense and there aren't as many available advertisers to display ads on your site. The fundamentals for making money are the same: You still need plenty of traffic, you still need high-paying ads, and you still need to design your site to harmonize with the ads to get people to click.

1) Personality! Make sure your blog has some as you’ll want to engage your reads and make them relate to you or the character you create. By having a likable personality when writing it will be more interesting that a dull and boring blog. You can engage the reader through competitions, questions/asking for comments and by just writing about interesting stories, techniques and ideas.

2) Make It Sticky – Your blog should have people coming back to it and reading it againand again. Make sure you include RSS reader buttons so visitors can subscribe to the feed. Also opt-in newsletters that offer more than just updates are a good idea but the number one way to get people to come back is to offer excellent likable content.

3) Maximise Your Blogs Revenue – By making sure your blog earns every penny it can it
will mean less work creating new blogs to increase your revenue. Since the beginning of this blog, there’s been a few new ways to maximise your revenue and I’ll be
sharing them inside… So you’ll be able to turn your existing blogs revenue into much
more.

4) Don’t Give Up – I get emails every week from people ready to quit because of various reasons including… They can’t set their blog up, Google dropped their PageRank, Earnings are slumping and even because they’re earning too much and work is piling up. There will be hard times on your journey but you must not give up.
I’ve come close to giving up many times but always remember that I shouldn’t because for every bad day I’ll have 20 good days where I’ll be amazed at how much money is been made and how much fun it all is. Stick to it and you’ll have success.

5) Don’t let your blog die. Flip it instead – I’ve seen huge differences in blogs that are kept updated and offers that don’t get new posts. You don’t have to post every day or even every week but make sure you don’t just set them up and forget about them because they will die off and lose traffic… If you are having problems managing all you blogs. Keep your best ones and sell the others. You should always be looking to sell some of your blogs for the right amount as this will increase your income and wealth.

Almost 4 years since I started blogging, it seems like a lifetime has gone by with all the changes in the blogging world over the last few years. I totally overhauled my entire system and business model which will be revealed in this blog but again in the last 18 months some big changes have happened.

However… I haven’t had to completely change my system like before… It’s just needed some additions, fine tuning and unproductive techniques stripping away. This is what you’re about to read… My million dollar blueprint that has been tested and tweaked for the last 18 months.

First, here’s the 3 big changes I’ve seen in the couple of years that if you’ve missed you need to know about in order to maximise your blogs potential.

1) Blog Advertising is becoming big business … Blog advertising is set to become one of the largest forms of advertising on the web only surpassed by PayPerClick marketing.
This is amazing news for bloggers like us as small companies through to large
corporations will be throwing money into the blogging world and it’s yours for the
taking. Blogging is set to keep the rate of growth it’s seeing and as a student of this blog system you’ll be perfectly positioned to make money from blog advertising as well as using blogs for affiliate marketing.

2) Free Blogs Are Dead … Using blogging services like Blogger or the free
WordPress.com version won’t make you the big money and other serious bloggers are seeing. It’s crucial that you actually own your blog including the domain name and are in control of it by having your own hosting rather than free hosting and a sub-domain like Blogger provides.
Now if you have started a free blog you’ll be able to follow along and take that blog
and turn it into a money making blog using this system.
Now you may be asking to yourself - Why are you using a blogger blog though ???
Simple, just to give you some tips :-) ... this is not my main blog and it's sure not my main income stream ...

7 Days to Crush your Competition - Days 5 / 6

Hope you are well rested. You didn’t stay up all night watching viral videos on your social bookmarking sites, right? Good. We’ve got another full day of work.

The next step could take a while, even though I’ll explain it pretty fast.

You know those articles you collected for the first day. We’re going to use them now while they’re fresh. If you didn’t collect a whole bunch, time to crank some out right now. If you did collect 100, it’s probably worth giving them each a quick read before using them. Reading them aloud is the best way to check for grammatical errors and clunky sentences that just don’t flow as well as you might like. Run spell check, too.

Ready? Good. Let’s start submitting those articles and building up your Web site and other hubs.

The next two days will be nothing but article submissions. Your goal is to submit three each day on your Web site and on each of your other hubs.

So paste three articles on your website.Then add three articles on HubPages.Got your next three articles? Put them on your Squidoo lens.

I think you know where I’m going with this. Put three articles on your Wordpress blog, another three on Blogger and three more on Wetpaint. Don’t forget 43things and Gather. So how about those other Web sites we found this week? You got it.

You’re going back in. The ping directories will take care of themselves (see, you already saved yourself hours of work). But Digg links won’t post themselves. Post some links to some of your articles at the social bookmarking sites. You went to the trouble of deciphering those psychedelic word verification images and creating your accounts.
You might as well use them.

I’ll also add an extra optional step. There are a bunch of article directories out there. I find they are not as effective as the Web 2.0 publishing sites we used on Day ONE or the bookmarking sites, but they will drive some traffic. I won’t go into them in detail here, but look to the last appendix of this article series for a good list of effective directory pages.

Technique # 5: FACEBOOK EASYCASH DOMINATION

Method A

These are white hat techniques. But you should do these methods in moderation and not spamming!
Applying these methods can generate for you in excess of $3000-$10,000 or more a month if you do them correctly.

Remember, please use tools such as FaceBook Friend Bomber. This will make your work a lot easier than adding friends by yourself. Hey remember, AUTOMATION is key!

This first technique involves using ‘Clickbank’. The more ‘friends’ that you have on Facebook the more money can be earned with this technique. 5000 is the maximum number allowed on
Facebook, so let’s assume you have this number for simplicity sake. Steps to making money on Facebook:

- Join a ‘Cost Per Action’ network such as ‘Clickbank’. This is a completely free membership scheme. The CPAs make their money from the selling companies that register with them.

- Seek out and affiliate with products that you want to highlight on your Facebook pages and make available to your ‘friends’.

- Post 1 or 2 promotions on your Facebook pages with your personal recommendation or pointer to it. When your ‘friends’ click through to the promoting company you get a deposit in
your click bank account.

This was fourth in the list of affiliating websites with a keyword search of “house clearances” under the “home and family’ category. The new low price is a promotion opportunity to attract
people to your ‘hoplink’ on your Facebook page.

So just add your friends on FaceBook using FaceBook Friend Bomber, you can try the free version of the software. The other alternative is you can also add friends yourself.

Notify your friends regarding these offers, superpoke them… and add the CPA offers to your signature link!
The more friends you have, the more you’ll make. So it’s best to create a few accounts. Imagine if you have 50 accounts with 5000 friends each. That means that you can add up to a quarter of a million people as friends and people you can sell to. Isn’t that powerful?

Technique # 6 : FACEBOOK EASYCASH DOMINATION

Method B

This technique takes the basic technique A to the next level. The more ‘friends’ that you have on Facebook the more money you can earn with this technique. 5000 is the maximum number allowed on Facebook, so let’s assume again that you have this number for.

Groups are important to making money on Facebook because it’s “TARGETED ADVERTISING”. The people who join your group have an established interest. For example, you can create a group about “Tatoo” and invite those who are interested in Tatoos just by
searching on FACEBOOK.

Then you can promote Tatoos sites on Clickbank and earn an whopping $75 per sale. Steps to making money on Facebook:

- Join a ‘Cost Per Action’ network such as ‘Clickbank’.

- Decide on a product or service that you feel fits in your Facebook community and where companies are registered with Clickbank.
* Clickbank have a huge number of affiliate products and services from “Americas Top Secret Recipes” to “Warcraft Guides” and everything in between.

- Promote your chosen product on your Facebook ‘group’. Aim for a personal introduction to all of your friends. Be sure that your group name includes the keywords for your affiliate
product. For example; “Cooking American style”.

- Now that you have an affiliate partner and a product to promote you need to make your group expand. Getting the ball rolling is the hardest part but it soon builds momentum and gathers people into the group like a snowball rolling downhill.

- Consider buying your own domain name and linking it to your affiliate product via a redirect. The Facebook management do not like the over commercialization of their network so to have a redirect and separate domain name is a neat way to get under their radar. If you have some ‘html’ knowledge this is easily done by inserting the following code between the and tags:

- A good starting point for building your group is to use the Facebook search facility and type in your keywords. For example “American cooking” this will give you a list of all other Facebookers with these words in their blogs. Then you invite each of them to join your group with a simple friendly message such as “Hey I see that you love American food
too. What’s your favorite recipe?”

- Do not be tempted to ‘spam’ on Facebook. It is sure to get you kicked out. So do not add too many people at any one time it will attract unwanted attention to you and could get you kicked out for ‘spamming’.

Note: This method is quite powerful because you can expand your groups and keep selling to them.

How Blogs Make Money ?

Print magazines make money by selling advertising. The larger their circulation, the more influence they exert over people, and the demographics of their readers dictate how much money they make.

Blogs are essentially the same. The more traffic (circulation) you have, the type and quality of that traffic (reader demographics) and the influence you have over your audience, determines your profitability.

This is why bloggers are obsessed with building traffic. It really doesn’t matter how you make money – it might be a contextual ad program like Google AdSense, affiliate marketing or direct ad sales – the more raw readers you have, generally, the more money you can make.

Quality of traffic plays an important part too. If you have a strong influence over your readers, when you ask them to do something, such as recommending they buy a product you promote as an affiliate, more of them will do so.

If you break down the process of blog monetization, the following events occur:

1. A person (blogger) creates a web destination point (blog) that people want to visit, possibly on a repeat basis, because of the value it offers. Initially they find the blog by following a link from another blog or website, through a referral from friends or colleagues, or they come across the blog when it appears in the results of a search-engine query.

2. A proportion of that audience is funneled on to other sites that “pay” to buy the traffic. Payment might be in the form of a per-click fee, a monthly rate, an affiliate commission, or profit on a product or service sale.

The blogger works to attract attention and then sells that attention to advertisers for a fee or uses the attention to profit from their own product and/or service sales.
The key variable here is “attention”. Attention is traffic, influence and the potential to make money from blogging.

So how does a blogger attract attention?

Two Key Ingredients For Attracting Attention

The first part of creating attention (traffic) to a blog, is the age-old advice you will have read over and over again if you study successful blogging:

“Write good content”

So yes, the foundation of a great blog is good content. Where people go wrong is deciding what good content is, given their goals (usually the error is made when determining exactly what the goals are and what strategies will be used to meet the goals) and assuming that just good content is enough.

The other key ingredient is marketing.

Did I mention that all professional bloggers need to have business skills? Yep, that’s right, marketing – the fine art of attracting attention and THE key component for successful business – is a paramount ingredient for successful blogging. It’s through marketing that people find your good content.

I’ll discuss how to market a blog in a moment, but first we have to make sure you avoid the first error I mentioned – not having a strategy in place for producing the right type of good content given your goals.

Why Do You Blog?

I bet right now if I asked you why you are reading this report you would say you want to know how to earn a full-time income from blogging and improve your lifestyle.
Those two things are outcomes of effective blogging, not the reason why you blog.

We want to make money from our blog, so we have to consider profit and the possibility of monetizing our audience. However if you spent all your time attempting to make money from your blog you would end up with no traffic, and no traffic means no money.

No one wants to read a blog that is made up of nothing but advertisements, paid reviews and affiliate promotions. They want to read a blog that enhances their lives.

Your primary motivation when producing content is to focus on enhancing the lives of your readers. After reading your blog they should feel good. That’s a somewhat simplified way of thinking about what makes good content, but at it’s core, that’s all there is to it.

Focus on helping, educating and entertaining through your words and you will have the building blocks – your pillars – for a successful blog.

The strategic part comes in when you consider the type of reader your good content should attract. If you produce good content, but your topics are all over the place, you won’t have enough topic congruency – a niche focus – and consequently will turn people away.

Your goal is to make a very small segment of the population very happy with your great content, focused on a niche topic.

What is a Blog and Why are they so Popular?

Everyone has a different opinion of how to explain what a blog is. I like to explain what a blog is by contrasting it to a “normal” website, since essentially a blog is a website (so there you go, that’s all a blog really is – a website).

Blogs are websites with a few very key differences, namely:

1. Articles are listed in chronological order with the newest article at the top

This is a very consistent element of every blog I have ever come across. Articles are listed with a title followed by the body content, starting at the top of the page with the most recently published article followed by the next most recent, and so on.

This format is a legacy of the “journaling” aspect of blogging. The term blog is derived from “weblog” which essentially means online diary or journal. Diaries have entries made by date and that is how blog posts work too.

An important point to make, despite the journalistic style history, is that blogs today are not all diaries and are not only about the personal lives of the authors. Some blogs still are the thoughts of one author – my blog is, but I don’t talk about my cat or what I had for breakfast. I stay on my chosen topics, Make Money Online, Affiliate Marketing, SEO, CPA, Internet Marketing, Wordpress, blogging tips, and people who are interested in those topics come to read my blog.
Blogs today can be about any subject, written by one or many authors and certainly are not all personal diaries. Personal reflection, opinion and tone all have a place in blogs, but that doesn’t affect the breadth or scope of topics covered.

2. It’s easy to add new content

Normal websites have one chronic problem that kept everyday people from creating one – they are just too technical. Even with sophisticated content management systems, website creation was out of the reach of your average web surfer.

Blogs changed things. They provide a content publishing system so easy to use that the average net surfer, with some practice, can become a blogger and publish content to the World Wide Web. When content publishing became as easy as writing email, the barriers to entry were lowered enough for it to go mainstream and we now have a world filled with millions of blogs.

3. Content is updated frequently

Another major problem that plagues traditional websites is their static nature. Most websites never change and you always come back to the same pages with the same content. The reason for this is point two above – it is too hard for the average person to add content to a website.

Sure, many popular sites were updated frequently before blogs came along, but they have the backing of large organizations with technical staff and writers, or are managed by people who understand things like HTML, FTP and web servers. Most people do not speak this language and until blogs became available it was hard for the average person to publish their ideas online.

Blogs lower the barriers to publishing enough so the average person can do it. As a result the Web is inundated with content producers (bloggers) writing and publishing articles on a regular basis, sometimes multiple articles per day. Websites have never been as dynamic as today’s blogs.

A spin-off effect has been the rise of blogs in search engines. Search engines like Google reward sites that publish valuable content on a consistent basis. Blogs, by their nature, do this (assuming motivated bloggers are running them) and so rise high in search engine rankings.

As a result of blogs “stealing” top search engine rankings, they receive even more attention, capturing the focus of Internet marketers and business owners as they look to blogs as potential marketing tools for their products and services.

4. Blogs allow people to leave comments

A significant evolution when comparing a traditional website to a blog is the addition of the comments function. Each article published to a blog has an input box to allow any person from the public to leave a comment on that article.

This enhancement turned websites from one-way broadcasting devices, to two-way communication tools. Readers can directly communicate with the author of the content, carry on the conversation started by the article and essentially turn a blog into a community.
This last point is more powerful than you think, and here’s why…

5. People “trust” blogs more than normal websites because blogging is a conversation

If you combine all the elements above – the personal journal style of writing, the ease of adding content leading to frequent updates, and the ability to interact with your readers - you have a formula for a very natural communication tool.

Blogs, by their nature, are considered trusted sources of information. They foster a more human relationship and, as evidenced in countless blogs today, some bloggers are perceived as respected experts, whether they are or not, purely on the back of their successful blogs.

This final point is the most significant, yet subtle element that distinguishes blogs from normal websites. If people trust the words written on a blog, if people come to like and identify with the person writing the blog, you have all the elements necessary to create a popular community focused on the creative output of just one person.

This is why any person with a passion, a hobby, or a skill, and enough motivation to produce content on a particular topic, can build an audience, keep people coming back and ultimately, monetize that traffic, establishing the potential for professional blogging.

Much of what I just explained won’t be new to some people, but it lays the groundwork for the rest of this report. If the concept of “blog” is still a bit blurry for you, head online, find some blogs and seek examples of the five points I listed above so you understand the opportunity that exists.

As I mentioned at the start of this report, it’s important to realize the strategy before implementing the tactics. Later I will review the tactics – the methods of making money from your blog that are available to you today and what I currently use – but first you need to know the strategy behind making money from blogging.

It’s actually more important to understand the strategy behind profitable blogging than the different ways you can get paid. Tactics and techniques for making money are always changing and new options open up on a daily basis. However, the fundamentals of why you make the money do not change, so make sure you pay particular attention to this next section.
