Achieving Your Dreams

While most people spend most of their lives struggling to earn a living, a much smaller number seem to have everything going their way. Instead of just earning a living, the smaller group is busily working at building and enjoying a fortune. Everything just seems to work out for them. And here sits the much larger group, wondering how life can be so unfair, so complicated and unjust. What's the major difference between the little group with so much and the larger group with so little?

Despite all of the factors that affect our lives – like the kind of parents we have, the schools we attended, the part of the country we grew up in – none has as much potential power for affecting our futures as our ability to dream.

Dreams are a projection of the kind of life you want to lead. Dreams can drive you. Dreams can make you skip over obstacles. When you allow your dreams to pull you, they unleash a creative force that can overpower any obstacle in your path. To unleash this power, though, your dreams must be well defined. A fuzzy future has little pulling power. Well-defined dreams are not fuzzy. Wishes are fuzzy. To really achieve your dreams, to really have your future plans pull you forward, your dreams must be vivid.

If you've ever hiked a fourteen thousand-foot peak in the Rocky Mountains, one thought has surely come to mind "How did the settlers of this country do it?" How did they get from the East Coast to the West Coast? Carrying one day's supply of food and water is hard enough. Can you imagine hauling all of your worldly goods with you . . . mile after mile, day after day, month after month? These people had big dreams. They had ambition. They didn't focus on the hardship of getting up the mountain.

In their minds, they were already on the other side – their bodies just hadn't gotten them there yet! Despite all of their pains and struggles, all of the births and deaths along the way, those who made it to the other side had a single vision: to reach the land of continuous sunshine and extraordinary wealth. To start over where anything and everything was possible. Their dreams were stronger than the obstacles in their way.

You've got to be a dreamer. You've got to envision the future. You've got to see California while you're climbing fourteen thousand-foot peaks. You've got to see the finish line while you're running the race. You've got to hear the cheers when you're in the middle of a monster project. And you've got to be willing to put yourself through the paces of doing the uncomfortable until it becomes comfortable. Because that's how you realize your dreams.

How To Place Value On A Business

To understand how to place value on a business opportunity you must first understand the four (4) principles of business – or what to look for in a business.

Huge Expanding Market. It doesn’t matter how good you are in an industry that is eroding.
Unique Consumable Product. If you don’t have a unique product you will compete on price and convenience. Who has the best price and who is closet to the customer? If you have uniqueness people will come to you. If you want repeat sales the product should be consumable. A non-consumable product means your unemployed till the next sale.
Timing – This means timing trends. Throughout all cycles of the economy there are people who are making money and losing money. The makers are those in front of the trends. The losers disregard trends. How you get in front of large trends? You must study what creates them. Without any hesitation in today’s society it’s the Baby Boomer generation that creates the largest trends. The Baby Boomers are those groups of babies born between 1946 and 1964. In the USA 70,000,000 were born during this time period and a billion were born worldwide. Why is this group so talked about? It is because they represent only 1/3 of the US population but control 65% of all the money. So what will be the next big trends? (1) Health (2) Looking Younger (3) Education (4) Retirement (5) Security (6) Money. If you want to be brilliantly compensated you must focus on industries and companies that have positioned themselves in front of these trends.
Ability to Create Leverage – We are not taught leverage in our society. We are taught to get a good education, build a résumé and exchange our expertise for someone else’s dollars. The problem with that is if we are not exchanging our expertise we’re not making any dollars. So vacation time is costly! A walk around a golf course is costly! Family time, although extremely important, is costly!

I must say it has been a growing and rewarding experience.

I had to build a bridge a number of times and get over things beyond my control.

I am a Veteran network marketer with twenty years experience researching this industry and 15 years in my Primary network marketing business.

How many times do you go through life status quo?

You go through each day with tunnel vision.

When you are talking to a prospect you need to get into their head and ruffle their feathers a bit.

People seem to think I will do it tomorrow, I can always achieve my dream and goals tomorrow.

I say take your dreams off that dusty shelf and start the journey of realizing them today!

There is no better time to make a start and have the vision of time and financial freedom for your future.

Do you realize how many people you would impact if you had the time and resources?

You need to look in the mirror and make changes Today!

Getting "inside" your prospects' heads.

Our job is to get our message past the filters and barriers of our prospects' minds. If we don't, we are wasting our life's breath just talking into the wind.

We only have moments before our prospect makes a decision to listen or not to listen to us. What are you going to say in those first precious moments?

Most amateur distributors don't figure this out. They just talk.

Pros practice, test, and use different opening sentences to see what will get past the skepticism and filters of their prospects.

So work hard on your first sentences . . . and your business presentations will be much easier.

Want an example of a first sentence that has a good chance of getting inside your prospects' heads?

"While you are working for someone else, you could be working and building your own company. Same effort, just a different project."

Give your prospect the "truth" guarantee.

Prospects are afraid to take risks. That's natural.

We attempt to soothe their fears by saying things such as:

* "Try our business. We have a 30-day money-back guarantee."

* "Try our product or service. We have a 30-day money-back guarantee."

Did you ever notice that these guarantees seldom close the prospect? The prospect feels embarrassed to take advantage of a refund, so the prospect never makes the initial commitment to try the product, service or business opportunity.

You've noticed that, haven't you?

So why not try this? Give your prospect the "truth" guarantee. It will shock your prospect and create a "fear of loss" motivation. Say:

"I have one guarantee about our business. If you don't try anything, you are guaranteed that nothing will change. The commute time to your job won't change. The limited time you have with your family won't change. Your current paycheck won't change."

How Important are Emotions when Building your network marketing business?

Why do you think there are not more people in this industry of network marketing?

Think about it.

Eric says Emotions are of top importance.

I agree they are Important.

When someone says No to you, or quits their business, or you plant seeds and it seems like you are not getting anywhere.

Your emotions ride high and you panic.

I have been there, the most important activity to do is to roll it off your back and build a bridge.

This is what truly separates the entrepreneur from the work for Today money only.

When you work for someone else you do not have to deal with these emotions for the most part.

If more and more people would understand network marketing takes patience, effort, and keep your emotions in check then more and people would be more economically stable for their future and experience personal growth beyond belief!

When you take your last breath what do you want to be known for?

I would much rather trust and believe in people that want the best for me.

When it comes to meeting and conquering the negativity in your life, here is a key question: what can you do, starting today, that will make a difference? What can you do during economic chaos? What can you do when everything has gone wrong? What can you do when you've run out of money, when you don't feel well and it's all gone sour? What can you do?

With those gifts, you can change anything for yourself that you wish to change. And I challenge you to do that because you can change. If you don't like how something is going for you, change it. If something isn't enough, change it. If something doesn't suit you, change it. If something doesn't please you, change it. You don't ever have to be the same after today. If you don't like your present address, change it—you're not a tree!

If there is one thing to get excited about, it's your ability to make yourself do the necessary things, to get a desired result, to turn the negative into success. That's true excitement.
