This isn’t official app from Facebook. When Google+ branded its Social network site, One of the 4 Major features it showed us is the hangout feature, which lets you to group video chat with your Google+ friends. Facebook was missing this feature when Google+ was showing it off. Now, Google+ is going to lose it to Facebook on the hangout feature. The third party app “Oovoo” integrates with Facebook to bring out the group video chat inside Facebook. But thisn’t a official app for Group video chat. Because, facebook default chat has skype integration for video chat, but restricted to one-to-one person. There is No multi user video chat facility yet.

Oovoo is a third party web based app that provides Google+ hangout like feature to people. Oovoo is similar to Google+ hangout, but in a standalone form. Now this third party app called Oovoo, fits the gap. You can do a multi user video conferencing upto 12 people. 4 more than what Google+ offers and It’s completely free and already has 46 million users as its a standalone app.

Now integrating the Oovoo app with facebook, becomes super fun to all the 900 million people as it allows video chat upto 12 of your friends on facebook. This will make people feel that facebook has its own hangout like feature.

Apart from this, Oovoo allows you to record the video chat, upload it to facebook, YouTube, twitter etc. The app is also available for both Android and iOS. The Oovoo call link feature lets you to send a chat invite to your friend and whoever clicks the chat link, can join in the video conversation from the Oovoo web based app.

This isn’t currently the official hangout app for facebook, but if Facebook has an idea to acquire Oovoo, it would surely be a worthful investment than instagram.

Check out their standalone app for Windows, Mac. You can also download their mobile app for iOS and Android devices from their official site. If skype can offer multi way calling for free, then its a positive welcome.

The latest report from The Wall Street Journal/Hay Group Survey of CEO Compensation, which analyzes CEO’s pay from the 300 largest U.S. public companies by revenue between May 1, 2011, and April 30, 2012, puts Apple CEO Tim Cook with $378 million at the top of the list of Highest Paid CEO’s in the U.S. This amount of wealth is entirely depends on the Tim Cook’s million shares of Apple, inc. The best thing is, Tim cook’s base salary is $900K and annual incentives is $900K and the rest is just stock. The study calculated the amount the CEO received include, compensation (salary, bonus), and the long-term profits.

The share package options from Apple comes with set of restrictions to Tim Cook that he cannot sell half of them for the next 5 years till untill 2016 and other 50% untill 2021. It’s not surprising that the man heading one of the world’s most valuable & innovative company with such huge reward. So the package which has forced tied up for the next 10 years is one of the best outcome for Tim cook. Currently, the price of the Apple share is around $560 mark and the experts predict that after the iPhone 5 lauch, which is expected around September the stocks may go above $1000/share mark.

The other highest paid CEO’s in America includes 2nd position Larry Ellison , CEO of technology firm Oracle – $76 million. In the top 5 CEO earners also CEO Les Moonves of CBS – 69.3 million, CEO of JC Penney, Ronald Johnson – 53.3 million, and CEO Sanjay Jha of Motorola Mobility – USD 46.6 million. CEO of Motorola will certainly reduce income after acquisitions of $ 12.5 billion through Google.

Tweet Open Filter is a chrome extension that allows us to control what you want to read on twitter. If you find certain hashtags and tweets following it extremely offensive or irritating, then you can simple zip them using this extension.

Only the new twitter web interface lacks this feature. All other third party desktop clients, twitter mobile apps has this feature to zip all unwanted tweets under one hashtag.

Once installed you will see a new tab on Twitter, when pressed can enter specific words, hashtags and user names that we want to temporarily silence as, for example : #IamSoMiddleClass, #10ThingsILove, some football, cricket fans #IPL, foursquare checkins, Followfriday etc. We can save the settings as a marker, cleaning, activating and deactivating the filters with a single click.

This extension makes twitter more productive, less annoying. The tweets which you hide or not deleted, but hidden. The filter you make, can be saved as a bookmarklet for later use. You can filter out tweets using regular expressions (for example, all words beginning in “auto” using: /\Wauto/)

Once installed, it sits right next to the #Discover button in your twitter web interface. That’s it. It won’t show others that you’ve silenced them.
