But the fact that i was born and still alive is probably the best thing that has ever happened to me.

As i always do during this time of the year, here are my words of encouragement to all those who want to get "A PERSPECTIVE OF LIFE IN THE EYES OF A 21YR OLD"

1. Always look forward to the future and dream about it. This will help you overcome the stress of worrying about the environment around you.

2. Don't mind so much about what other people think about you. The stress from worrying will kill you. Just do what you think is right so long as it does not hurt other people.

3. Look forward to the future but don't worry so much about it. The future will always sort it's self out. There is a way around most things.

4. The things you worry about most might have the simplest solutions and the ones you worry about least might have the toughest solutions.

5. Life is short. Have fun, you can be gone anytime. but of course enjoy responsibly.

6. You can never achieve perfectness everywhere. Just do your best and see what your efforts yield. Don't blame yourself when things don't go as expected. At least you gave it your best.

7. Everything happens for a reason. What seems to be a bad choice now might turn out to be a good choice in future.

8. Do what you love. Don't care what people say. Some people don't wish the best for you.

9. Be care careful who you trust. There are lots of bad people out there. Even those closest to you might betray you.

The Future
Right now, it's hard to predict the direction my life will take after my undergraduate degree.

In my experience, life doesn't always turn out the way you want it to be. I just have to wait and see what happens.

Check out The Main Section

It’s been 3 years since I started posting on this blog way back on January 29th 2007. 3 years might not seem like such a long time but lots of changes have happened since. So today I am going to review some of these changes.

At the time when I first posted, I was stressed out and I had lots of things to deal with. This was my first post

At the time, I was 17 and since I didn’t have much to write about, I decided that the mode of posting would be by short few line entries.

I didn’t visit the Web much so I decided to make each post equal to a quarter. Meaning I would add entries to the same post for three months then I would create a new one in the fourth month. So in total I would have 4 posts a year.

As time went by, I increased the number of visits I made to the Web. I was in High school and I had lots of stories to share. So after the first post (quarter), I decided to make each post equal to half a quarter (1.5 months).

So the first half of the quarter would be called part one and the second would be part 2.

Before 7th February 2008, every entry lacked time

but now every entry has time

This gives the reader an idea of what time I always post.

Before 4th quarter 2008 part 2, I used to add entries coming from up to down. So the latest entries were put under the old entries.

I was posting this way because I wanted every post to be like a continuous story but now it seems very dumb because it’s very obvious that new entries would always appear on top and old entries below.

I also have changed the title of this blog many times. The first title was “LIFE SUCKS”. At the time, my life really sucked and I had lots of issues to deal with .

Then I decided to change the title to “J2’s DIARY” then I changed it to “TALES OF A DREAMER” because I see myself as a dreamer and I have lots of ambitions. Then I finally changed it to the current title “My Story, My Life: The Story of Joash Mabs”.

I chose that title because I think of this blog as a story of my life. every entry I add means I am telling the world about myself so i am telling them My Story.

As time went by posts became larger and larger so I decided to make each post equal to a month.

So unlike the previous 8 posts per year, it’s now 12 posts.

That’s a summary of what has gone down in the past 3 years. Of course there is lots more but it isn’t possible to review everything. So I guess that would do for now.

Looking forward to many more years and Happy Anniversary to myself.

Check out The Main Section

Another Year gone by!!! Time does surely rush these days. When I was a Kid, Years used to take forever to get finished. But now, a year is like a few months. I think it’s because I am really busy all year round but I will get used to it.

Actually, this year has gone by so fast that I don’t remember most of the things I did. All I remember is that at the beginning of this year, I started a new semester (2nd Semester, Year 1), it went by very fast, did exams and had a long vacation. Then 3 months later, I started another semester (Semester 1, Year 2) and now it’s also over. That’s basically what I remember but if I think harder, I can do a simple recap on this year’s events.

At the start of this year (Jan 29th), the main section of this Blog, turned 2 years. 2 years is a short time but it feels like a long time for this Blog and lots of updates have been posted ever since.

In about 1.5 months (Jan 29th 2010), my Oldest Blog will turn 3 years. I am very certain that this blog is here to stay and it’s going be here for lots of years to come. On the 3rd Anniversary, I am going to do a Recap of the 3 years since the Blog started in 2007. its going to be timeline of events and changes that have happened. You surely can’t miss this. It’s going to be up 2 months from now (Jan 29th 2010).

Also this year, I read a few books since I’ve been quite busy all year round. I read only 3 books (“Angels and Demons”, “Da Vinci Code” and “The Lost Symbol”). I hope to read more books in 2010.

Probably the biggest achievement this year is setting up my New Homepage. It wasn’t that hard to create. All I needed was an idea of what I wanted and the right hosting and knowledge (only HTML, CSS and a little JavaScript was needed).

A few weeks back, I made some changes to it and more changes will come regularly. All this is aimed at making it a better homepage because it’s my Home on the Web. It has to give a good impression when someone visits. Check it out at http://mabsj2.host22.com.

In future, i will give it it’s own domain (joashmabs.com) and more cool stuff will be added.

Another achievement is that my GPA rose this year because I performed well in last semester’s exams. Not that I expected it to drop, but the increase was so good that I am now at a better position this semester.

I am expecting another increase this Semester since I am doing less Courses. I have had more time to study each of the Courses in detail.

This year I participated in two marathons. Not so big but it’s unique because I always participate in one run a year.

During the year, I applied for Field Attachment at 3 organizations. I am expecting to be contacted at the beginning of next year (2010).

The 40th Anniversary of Moon Landings which happened in 1969 were yet another highlight this year. It was memorable and lots of events took place to remember the historic event. Mars is our next destination.

Also this year, I was named one of the best 100 science twitterers, which is certainly true if you visited my Twitter page. if you like my Tweets, you can follow me and I will surely follow you back.

As you already know, this year I completed my first year at College (Recap Year 1), and started the Second Year (just finished the 1st Semester of Year 2). The First Year was unique and had its challenges. Year 2 is here and I am certain it’s going to go well.

The sad moment this year was the breakdown of my PC. The monitor blew up so I can’t use it now. I haven’t gotten time to repair it but I am hoping it will repaired in 2010.

2009 has been a unique year in lots of aspects and it surely will always be one of those years i will never forget. During the year i have learned a lot about my self and also about my environment. 2010 is going to be another great year i hope and looking forward to experiencing more stuff.

Check out The Main Section

So every new person you meet is special in their own way. They might be insignificant now but they might be significant in the future. Life is full of surprises.

Sometimes I think “LIFE IS A STORY”, every new Chapter that you turn teaches you something new. Something you never expected to learn. And everything that you learn now is important because its going to be useful in the future.

Everything in life happens for a reason, you might ignore something that happens now but it might be important or even shape your life in the future. Its those small things that we ignore that turn out to be very important in the future.

Somethings in life don't happen by coincidence. “SOMETHINGS HAPPEN FOR A REASON”. We might not realize this now but we shall in future.

In the past 20 years of my life I have learned all these things and they have turned out to be much more intriguing and confusing than I thought.

I seriously don't know how much more am going to learn or experience, but whatever it is I welcome it with open arms because I believe it's going to be important to me in the future.

We all have Dreams. Some might seem unrealistic but when we hold onto them, we should use the experiences that we have learned in the past to achieve them. Because I believe life is all about achieving your dreams/goals, experiencing and learning things.

Check out The Main Section

Remember this

" 29th JANUARY 2007
Started well no problem got so far. And hope its going to continue that way.

Ma computer tried to piss me off but surely I finally put every thing under ma control. I am now trying to collect info for ma upcoming CD :) BUT looks like everything just sucks as usual. Just last week some jack stole ma very expensive BIOLOGY TEXTBOOK plus ma CD bag that i had bought just a day before.

That very day ma parents scolded at me and it surely hurt a lot. I was down the whole day wondering how life sucks. regretting why i was born into this earth. every bad thing happens to me. every one steals from me, i have failed to hook up with a really nice girl that i will love all ma life, every time i hook up with one i always mess up. one day I am going' to give up on chics and GOD knows what i will do. Please pray for me. :( :( "

That was the first entry of this Journal back then on this day in 2007 and today marks 2 years since that day.

When i set up this Journal, i had no idea it would turn to this. All i wanted was to have a Blog like other people but i didn't know what to put on it.

I never imagined it would one day be a Journal where i update about the events that go on in my life. i am happy it turned to this because its a good way of documenting what goes on in my life.

Actually the first entry on this Journal was a question that no one responded to. i was mistaking a Blog for a Forum. i thought when i returned the next day, i would find dozens of replies but i never found even a single one.

i later realized that a Blog was a site where you get to express your views, opinions and experiences. A Blog is like your personal TV channel where you tell people your views and about your life.

After realizing what a Blog was, i now had to decide exactly what to add to the Blog. First i thought about adding posts on Science News. But i wouldn't just add anything without verifying its source. it was also much harder to dig up news at that time.

At that time, many things were going on in my life and most of them were not good. During that year, i was preparing to attend my last year in High School and i was facing lots of problems. like someone stole my only Biology Textbook that i was using for exams. i had no notes and that book was the only thing in biology that i had. so losing it was a crisis. i also lost my CD bag and several CD's that were in it.

At home, i had problems with my parents and i was broke too. if you read my first posts you would notice that.

With all those problems, i decided to start a Blog telling the World how my life sucked and the first title of the blog was "LIFE SUCKS". Later i realized things were not as bad as i thought. so i changed the title, which turned it to what it is today.

Ever since i started this Journal, lots of things have happened. Like later in 2007 i had to sit my Final High School Exams, so i had to prepare for them all year. The results returned last year (2008) and they were not as good as i expected.

The time of waiting for the results was no easy time, i had to endure lots of pressure till finally on 29th February 2008 when i got the news that the results had returned.

Then it came to applying for College. it was clear that i had not qualified for the Scholarship so the only way to enter college was by Private Sponsorship. i felt so bad about that but i had no choice.

Finally in August i was admitted and i was relieved though i still felt bad for not getting the scholarship. The only consolation i had was that they had given me the course i wanted most, BSc in Biochemistry, Botany and Zoology.

In late August i joined College and it went fine. In December, College was done and i had finished the end of Semester exams. i am now waiting for the results which i am expecting next month. Unlike High School, i am now more calm and very certain the results will be good.

Lots of other things have happened during the years like in 2007 i celebrated my 18th Birthday and it went good. in 2008 i became 19. though not great like Turning 18, its went good.

Well its amazing how fast time goes by and now its already two years since my 1st entry. My Journal is still strong and i am sure it will continue growing for a very long time.

For all those who have been with me all these years, thank you and please continue reading. i got lots of great new ideas and i will be introducing them soon. For all new readers, welcome and come back soon for more updates here and at The Main Section.

Check out The Main Section

Recap 2008

Finally 2008 has come to an end and as a Tradition here, I recap all that happened during the year.

Its amazing how fast this year has gone but when I think deeply about the things that have happened, it seems like this year has taken so long to come to an end.

2008 has been an amazing year for me and the rest of the World I guess because lots of things have happened both good and bad. From the Financial Crisis, the Obama Victory, political crisis in some African countries, the Beijing Olympics, to the Successful Phoenix Mission and other NASA Missions, Breakthrough in Stem Cell Research, Global Warming and Changing Fuel prices. 2008 has been a year to truly learn from and I don’t know if there will ever be another year like 2008.

On my side 2008 has been Amazing. Lots of things have happened in such a short time and I am hoping for lots more next year.

This year has been filled with lots of achievements and learning. This year, I was able to graduate from High School, Join College, Purchase my first Domain (joashmabs.com) and successfully finishing the first semester of College.

2008 has seen lots of failures too and they are all killing me. Yea cool, I was able to graduate from High School but I didn’t graduate with the results that I wanted. I expected to do very well and get a scholarship but unfortunately, that did not happen!! I did not perform very well and I missed the Scholarship so I had to join College by Private Sponsorship.

That’s a True failure for me because I always dreamed of a scholarship. Well no time for regrets now, just have to accept what I have now and do my best to Graduate with high Grades from College because I believe everything happens for a reason.

Graduating from High School wasn’t as easy as easy as it seems. If you read my entries of 2007, you should surely know the Night Mares I went through to make it through High School. Thank God I made it.

Purchasing my first Domain (joashmabs.com) has been my second greatest Achievement this year after Joining College. This might seem small for some people but it’s big to me. I mean, 2 years ago, I barely knew much about the Internet. But in less than 2 years I have been able to learn much more than what anyone would learn in 4 years (if they took a Course). Considering that I had to balance my High School and College studies with learning about the Internet and related technologies, it’s been a true Miracle.

All I knew about the Internet was that it was this place that people would go to check their Email, get Lyrics and View Pictures. I knew very little about the Internet. I actually thought designing a Website or making a program was the hardest thing you could ever do and I totally knew nothing about the basics of the Internet.

Now I know all a beginner needs to know about the Internet (the Basics) and also learnt some more Advanced stuff. I have also learnt some Programming and I am hoping to learn more next Year. I have set up a number of Blogs this year, designed a number of Websites and also purchased a Domain and set up my very own customized Email (@joashmabs.com) thanks to Google Apps.

In 10 years time, I picture my self as a Fully fledged Scientist (Biochemist or Zoologist), Computer Programmer, Web Master, Astronomer, Astronaut, Navy Sailor, Father, Boy Friend and also doing Amateur Radio. I have lots of dreams and achieving them is my Mission in Life.

Joining College is my biggest Achievement this Year. And best of all I am doing a Science Degree. Well I wanted to do Human Medicine before but after many considerations I decided to drop it.

Doing Medicine would require me to study for about 5 years and do a Masters for 2 years. That’s a total 0f 7 years at College.

For person like me that has big dreams, I cannot afford to waste all that time. So I needed a Course that was short as long as it was Science. A course that would be as good as Medicine but shorter. So I chose to do Biochemistry, Zoology, and Botany (dropping Botany after 1st year).

When I graduate successfully, I am going to become a Biochemist or Zoologist and my work place is going to be the Lab or Out Doors. It might seem odd to some people to work in such places but that’s exactly what I like. I hate sitting in office all day with nothing but a computer infront of you. I prefer being more practical like doing experiments in the Lab or being outdoors carrying out tests. That’s my dream.

Now that I have successfully completed the first Semester of College, I am surely destined to achieving that dream.

2008 has seen other minor Achievements like,

Making over 1000 friends on Myspace

Meeting new people at College and on Internet

Setting up new Blogs and Sites

Making 19

And joining Twitter, Snapvine and others

And Upgrading my Facebook, Myspace, Google, Journal, Blogs and lots more sites.

It’s impossible to remember all the things that I have achieved this year but what I know is that this year has been a true success.

The only failure I remember is failing to get a Scholarship for College but I still managed to join so it doesn’t matter.

2009, is here and I have to brace for it. Can’t predict what might happen but I know its going to be an extra ordinary year just like 2008.

In 2009 I am looking forward to being more active on Forums, and citizen science sites like galaxy zoo. I am also looking forward to learning new stuff.

I am also starting my second semester at College and later move on to second year (Sophomore year). Looking forward to lots of new achievements and will update on every thing as it happens.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Splendid New Year.

Contact Me
Check out The Main Section
Check out My Web Portal

National Exams Update

Food and Nutrition Planning
cool, no problems encontered. i chose 9 dishes which include.... dry fish in groundnuts, steamed bananas, steamed vegetables, mixed orange passion fruit drink, pineaple crumble, custard sauce, baked irish potatoes, meat balls and gravy sauce. hope the practical goes well.

Food and Nutrition practicle
the steamed bananas - cool but i did not put enough water so they got burnt at the bottom.

fish in groundnuts, meat balls, baked potatoes, fruit juice, custard and gravy sauce - perfect, no complaints

pineapple crumble - cool but too much fat in flour.

steamed vegetables - fair but they shrunk and i did not put salt. so they were tasteless.

Physics practicle.
went very well though i did not finish everything. but i managed to complete the largest number of work.
i did 2 numbers in Electricity and Mechanics.

in Electricity i was supposed to determine the resistance and resistivity of a bare wire. i did every thing perfectly but i did not finish the calculations because i got caught up by time.

in Mechanics i was supposed to determine the mass of a meter rule. i did it perfectly and i did not get any problems. i am expecting great results in this practicle.

General paper
now this was one of my best papers. it went very well and i am expecting great results.

i did an essay on Brain Drain and a Logic number where i drew a graph. everything was perfect.

Biology practicle.
we were supposed to begin this paper at 9:00am but we began at 10:42 am. the paper had 3 numbers and this is how they went.

number 1 was okay. we were given a toad and we were supposed to dissect it. we were told to draw blood vessels that drain blood from the left half of the abdomen and structures that remove waste materials from the body.

now this number is tricky if you label any structure that is not supposed to be there, then you fail the whole diagram. so you miss all the marks. well i hope i did not draw any unwanted structures.

number 2 was a physiology number and we were supposed to test for the action of enzymes in a potato tissue on hydrogen peroxide. then we were supposed to determine the presence of starch, reducing sugar and proteins in 2 different potatoes of different age. this number was okay.

now number 3 was my worst. we were given a bryophyta stem and supposed to determine the presence of lignin in its tissues and types of tissues it contains. i had very little knowledge on this number so it did not go well.

well its hard to say if it went good or bad. lets just wait for the results. all in all biology practicle was fair.

Physics 1 and 2
given all the time i was given to prepare for physics, paper 2 did not go well.
paper 1 was cool. it had 3 sections. section A has mechanics and it has a total of four numbers. section B is heat and thermodynamics and has 3 numbers. section c has modern physics and has 3 numbers too.
we are supposed to choose 5 numbers from all the 10 including at least 1 from each section but not more than 2 from every section. so i did 2 from section A, 2 from section B and 1 from section C. they all went well just that section C was a problem. time too was a problem. my best number was planetary motion (mechanics section) where i did keplers laws of planetary motion.

paper 2 was not okay because i failed to do most numbers. like paper 1 it also has 3 sections. section A contains optics, section B has magnetism and AC circuits, section C has ELECTRICITY AND ELECTROSTATICS. the question lay out is the same as that of paper 1.

so i did 2 from section A, 2 from section C and 1 from section B. section B was a problem and i failed to do the number i chose so i lost lots of marks. my best number was from section C. it was a number on capacitors. that's how physics went.

Chemistry practicle.
it was one of my best papers. i did all the numbers perfectly. the paper had 3 numbers. number 1 was a titration number and we were supposed to standardise a solution of potassium thiosulphate and later use it to find the molarity of potassium manganate 7. it all went good.

number 2&3 were about qualitative analysis. number 2 was an inorganic section and we were supposed to
determine the ions present in a given compound. it also went well.

in number 3 we were given an organic substance and we supposed to determine its nature. it did not very well to my expectations but it was not bad. everything was cool.

Biology 1 and 2.
thursday we had to battle it out with biology. now biology is the widest subject i have ever done. even if they gave you a month to read it, you can not finish it satisfactorily. you read a topic and you have forgotten it in no time. now that's what happened. paper 1 was cool.

just that i didnot read some topics and i had forgotten some. it has 2 sections A&B. section A has 40 objectives which went well. Section B has 6 structured questions. i managed to do most of them but i was blique of others.

paper 2 was i must say quite challenging. it contains 2 sections too. section A has one number which
is compulsory. it carries 40 marks. you are supposed to draw and explain biologics graphs. it was okay.
section B had 5 essay questions. you are supposed to choose 3. i chose a number on nuclear division (meiosis & mitosis). it was my best number in this section. i chose another number about hormonal action and the meneustral cycle. it also went well.

the 3rd number was my worst and i left a major section of the number undone, meaning i am missing all those marks. it was about evolution and genetics. well i still have hope i am going to pass it.

Chemistry 1 and 2
friday we had chemistry 1&2. i do not know if good luck was on my side but honestly speaking, chemistry has been my best exam so far. all papers have been okay.

paper 1 contains 2 section A&B. you are supposed to do all the 9 questions in section A and chose 6 from 8 questions in B. it was okay.

paper 2 is an essay type paper containing essay questions. it also has 2 sections A&B. A has 5 questions and B has 3 questions. you are supposed to choose 3 from section A and 2 from B. a total of questions. it also went well.

Food and Nutrition 1 and 2
on wednesday 5th december i had FN paper 1.

well FN has always been a subject to pass and as usual it did not go any bad. it all went well.
paper 1 had 2 sections A&B. both sections had 3 numbers each a total of 6.
we were supposed to do 2 from each section meaning we were supposed to do 4 questions.
i managed to do all and time was enough.

on thurday 6th december i had paper 2. it had only one section and we were supposed to do 4 questions from 6. i did all the questions but time was so little for me. nevertheless i managed to finish.

well that's how the national exams have been. most of all i want to thank the good LORD for enabling me do
them successfully without any hurdles. i also want to thank my parents for paying all my fees on
time and for the moral support they have given me.

then finally a big thanks to all my friends and every one who has made me finish high school successfully. may the good LORD award you abundantly.

MOCK UPDATE
Biology - paper 1 was kinda hard but paper 2 was okay.

Food and nutrition - paper 1 was okay but paper 2 was not because i entered late for it. so i was kinda disorganized.

Chemistry 3 - it was not so hard but it had mistakes in it. it took me long to realize they were mistakes so it did not go so well for me.

General paper - okay

Chemistry - both papers were not hard but i did not read much for them. so the results might not be so good.

Physics - okay but did not read so much for them.

Biology 3 - went very well. no complaints

Physics 3 - fair though i did not finish one of the numbers

Food and nutrition 3 - made 9 dishes... queen cakes, pilau rice, exeter stew, custard sauce, tamato sauce, sausage rolls, mixed fruit juice, vegetable salad and croutons.
the stew was good, just that i put too oil, rice was good too just that i put too much salt. sausage rolls, stew, juice and rice were my best dishes.

which failed include queen cakes, custard sauce, vegetable salad, croutons and tomato sauce.

Contact Me
Check out The Main Section
Check out My Web Portal

TUESDAY 1st MAY 2007 is probably one of those days you would call special. not because its a public holiday (labor day) but its when i am celebrating my 18th birth day.

i cannot believe how far i have come to make it to this day but i have been looking forward to it most of my entire life. i am so exited about it because i am TURNING 18. so that means i am going to become an adult on that day.

of course every special day must come with celebration. so to make it special, i am going to the cinema to watch some movies, and write about it on the internet.(and that's exactly what i am doing here) i am planning on doing lots of other things though i am still figuring out what.

the sad thing about it is that i have no one to celebrate it with. (well that will go down in history as the only birth day that i had alone) i got nothing much to do about it.
but who says that being alone means boring. well u guessed wrong dude, though i am having it alone, trust me i am going to have more fun than you can ever imagine. its sad to end like this but i got to go because i need to make this work out.

AGENDA FOR MY 18th BIRTH DAY.

8:00am
left home and went to the library.

8:30am
got a computer and connected to the internet.

9:00am
still on the internet writing here

9:30am
still at library

10:00am
still at library

11:00am
still at library

12:00pm
left library for quick lunch

12:45pm
back at library

1:00pm
still at library

2:00pm
left library for lunch (again)

2:30pm
in for lunch (had FISH and a BURGER)

3:00pm
heading for mall

4:00pm
at mall and surfing the internet

5:00pm
still at mall on the internet

6:00pm
still at mall waiting outside the cinema

7:00pm
in cinema (watched PERFECT STRANGER)

9:00pm
left cinema and headed home

9:30pm
at home

Contact me
Check out My Web Portal

On 1st May 2008, I turned 19. Being 18 was quite challenging and tough, so I couldn't wait to turn 19.

I am sad because it’s going to be my last year as a Teenager. Being a teenager has been fun for me and I have managed to accomplish lots of things

I have gotten to learn a lot and I know in future I am going to look back and I will be proud of myself and what I did.

On the other hand I am very glad I am finally going to stop being a teenager because it’s been tough on me sometimes. I had to deal with lots of things as a teenager. So I am praying so hard that at 19 (my last year as a teenager), bad things that have happened in the past won’t happen again.

Let’s look at what I have achieved at 18.

Before I start let me say that being 18 has been good for me and I managed to achieve lots of things. Things I never imagined I would achieve this early.

Though not attained total Independence, I have managed to attain some degree of independence. For example, my decision making is very independent. Now I get to make decisions without having to consult with any one. But if I am confused about my decision, I always consult for help. That’s a tick for me.

At 18, I have established my mark on the Internet. When you try to run a search on my nick name (mabsj2), you will find lots pages started by me. From Blogs, Diaries to social networks, Forums, Portals name it all. I am everywhere. And what’s more striking is that I have achieved that in just 1 year. So I guess it’s a big achievement.

To be more elaborate on that, I have over 20 websites and these include a Homepage, 3 Blogs (including this one), a Journal, social networks, forums, a Web portal, an Information Portal and lots more. For links to all these sites, go to my WEB PORTAL

At 18, I managed to successfully finish High School. Though I went through a lot to get there it was all worth it. All the hard work I put finally paid off and I am very proud of that.

I also qualified to join college since my performance was good. The only thing I regret not getting is a scholarship. I think its bad luck that denied me that chance but I am still hopeful those results will return.

I also got to meet lots of people especially at High School. Though my relations with some of them did not end well, it was great getting to know them and I am glad I got to meet them.

Naming all the achievements at 18 would take me a lot of time but that’s just a tip of the ice burg of what I managed to achieve.

Of course lots of bad stuff happened but I will not put that here because it’s all supposed to be sweet. SWEET 19 right……..

As I turn 19, I expect to achieve lots of things. Here is a summary of what I expect to achieve.

Of course as you all expect I am joining college at 19 and it’s great. I am hoping to do a science course like Chemistry, Computing or a Science based course .

I also hope to get a scholarship if my Foods and Nutrition results are got early.

I also hope to become more independent since I am going to grow older and hopefully I might have a place of my own. That’s if I get a well paying job.

As I mentioned above, getting a Job is one of my priorities. It must be good and well paying. But if it’s okay I will have to take it.

We all expect some one to become more reasonable and wiser when he/she gets older. So definitely when I turn 19 I expect to get exactly that.

Meet more people and also meet someone special that will sweep me off my feet. It’s a she definitely and she must be very different from all other girls. She must intelligent, reasonable and of course beautiful. We also must have a lot of things in common because that’s a key factor in a relationship. Well I am hoping it’s all good luck this time.

Achieve more success on the Web and I am hoping to grow even more………..

Turning 19 is one of the best things that can happen to anyone and personally it’s going to be a good experience for me.

Like any teenager, I feel sad that I am about to stop becoming a teenager but that’s nature. There is nothing much I can do about it.

All I can do is to embrace the idea and hope the future is going to be good and it will all turn out to be SWEET 19.

check out The Main Section

Like 1st may 2007, 1st may 2001 is probably another very special day for me. Of course it was my 12th birth day. Of all birth days I have heard this particular one was unique.

Well it was not sweet as the title might suggest but it was full of very many sad and good memories. You might all be wondering what happened to me on this particular date, but do not worry I am going tell u every thing.

Well during that time I was in grade 6, and was going to do my middle school promotion exams. These were exams that were supposed to promote me to middle school(grade 7-9) if I performed well in them.
I was in a boarding school at that time and it was my first time there. I got to meet lots of people there but as any kid of that age will say, every thing was not good for me.
I was so used to my mum so being away from her was so much stress and painful. Later I got used to it because I had no choice.

The morning of 1st may 2001 was cold. I remember I woke up abit earlier than normal because we were supposed to do some house work. We were supposed to clean our dormitory and also clean our personal stuff.
I was so lazy that day, so I did all my stuff very lazily.

After the house work I went back to my bed to rest, but something of mine was missing!!! I realized that my keys were missing, so I could not open my suit case.
I searched every where but all in vain…. I did not have any slight idea of where I had put them. I got so stressed and I remember trying to break the lock to my suit case.
I failed to break it since it was very hard.

The situation got out of hand and I remember regretting why I had come to that dormitory. I think some one had stolen them just to hurt me. Worst of all it was all happening to me on my 12th birth day.

I had gotten over it when someone told me that he had picked them from somewhere. You had no idea how happy I was and finally something good had come up on my birth day. Later in the day my mum sent me a cake and lots of other stuff just to wish me a happy birthday. I shared every thing with my friend and finally the day ended well.

Turning 12 was also unique because apart from being promoted to middle school (grade 7-9). I think I had my first crush.
I am not sure if I had felt any crush before but there was this girl at school in the same class with me that I liked a lot. She was nice but I never talked to her because I was shy. I will not get into much of the details, but if u want to read more on that check out my online diary

That crush did not end into anything since I have never seen her since then.

At the end of 2001 I sat my middle school (grade 7-9) promotion exams. We had 4 papers which included MATHS, SCIENCE, ENGLISH and SOCIAL STUDIES.
My favourites were science and social studies and in the exams I performed best in social studies, then science and English. My worst was math because I was not good at it. It has been a night mare for me.

The next year I moved on to middle school and that year I turned 13…………..

check out my WEB PORTAL

May 1st 1989 is the most remarkable day of ma life. Yeah you guessed right its ma birthday.
Well may 1st 2007 is even more special and remarkable because guess what i am turning 18.
It has been so long since I waited for this day and finally it has come. A day when i am finally going to be recognized as an adult and be able to make ma own decisions without objection.

Turning 18 is the best thing that can happen to anyone, well not every one desires to become 18 because some people hate getting old.
Well so sorry for them because each second that goes by makes us older and u can never reverse or stop time its ever moving on.
Well I think becoming older makes some one wiser and more intelligent. Compare your self to the person you were 10 or 5 years ago. Your are very different in terms of thinking.

Turning 18 means I can become independent and start renting ma own apartment, paying my own bills, buying my own property, going out whenever I like and doing whatever I like.

Turning 18 does not mean I have to give up ma teenage life because even if I’ve become an adult, I am still a teenager. I will only lose that right the day I turn 20. so I can do what other teens do.

Well turning 18 is going to be even more remarkable because I am GRADUATING FROM HIGH SCHOOL at 18. high school has been a very challenging part of ma life. Lots of good and bad things have happened and I surely cannot forget that. So finishing high school at 18 leaves me with both good and bad memories. But I think the good out number the bad.

Well I hope to join MIT for college and that makes turning 18 sweeter because I’ve never thought of any other college other than MIT. at MIT i want to do ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING, COMPUTER SCIENCE, BIOLOGICAL ENGINEERING, NUCLEAR ENGINEERING. name it all.
it seems like too much but to me nothing is too much.

through out my whole entire life i have achieved lots of things. one thing worth mentioning is my education. though challenging, education has been one of my greatest achievements of all time. through education i have learn't lots of things that i can put into use in the real world.
Though i still have more years in school before i achieve my ultimate dreams, education will always be one of my greatest achievements.

Turning 18 presents lots of challenges which I must face like making big decisions which affect other people’s life, raising enough money to pay ma bills and lots of other challenges.

Turning 18 also makes me eligible to some things like applying for some job posts, accessing some information and getting some privileges.

Apart from being born, joining high school, first kiss, first date, first love, graduating from high school, joining college, first job and getting married, becoming 18 should be one of those u surely cannot forget.

™ mabsj2 © 2007

check out my WEB PORTAL
