Possessed of extra-ordinary power; freezing the time, read people’s mind, ability to fly and of course healing.

Usually composed of two opposing sides, one faction should be a team of bad guys, the so-called power monger maniacs while the other group – surprise, surprise… the good guys.

They have to battle each other for supremacy by displaying their powers in public (it is very important there should be a witness to what they can do). At some points the bad guys seems to dominate the game but lo and behold, the good guys will eventually prevail victorious.

As they work for strategies to nailing each other, twist has to come out automatically (a standard for a serial stories, you know). And to unlock very important clues, they need to travel back time or going ahead to the future, depending on the plots.

Along the way, some have to lose control of their powers while others have to die but don’t worry they always comes to life (ala Professor X).

And here comes the most exciting part – witch-hunting, of course this should be commissioned by the government. These ordinary people with only guns as their protection will be taking down, one-by-one these so-called individuals with extra-ordinary power and locked them in a concentration camp.

Of course this is not the God Loves, Man Kills saga of the classic Claremont X-MEN story. I am talking about the HEROES season 3. For nearly a week, this has been my nightly routines after office work. Thanks God I was able to finish last night.

A story about ordinary people who each battles a pressured life after discovering they possessed superhuman abilities. This American science fiction TV drama series created by Tim Kring was premiered on September 25, 2006 and was easily a big hit giving NBC their highest rating TV drama series in five years.

The series emulates the aesthetic style and storytelling of American comic books by using short and multi-episode story arcs to create a larger and encompassing plot.

For someone who regarded comic books as the bible (lol), this TV series easily wins my heart, the first time I seen the program over RPN 9. Watching the series is like reading the X-Men titles. Well, what do you expect when Jeph Loeb co-writing and co-producing this TV drama. For sure he incorporates some of the plots he did when he was writing the X titles plus those twists on his Detective Comics.

Erap seeks re-election in 2010

Sixty three days before Christmas yet the atmosphere do not suggest about the holiday season. Of course, Ondoy and Pepeng spoiled the spirit but then again who are we to blame mother earth when we don’t even give her the highest respect she deserves. These atrocities are simply the product of our greed and disrespect to the god of nature.

And speaking of gods and surely I am not talking the American gods whom Neil Gaiman told us about. I am referring to the gods closer to home that walks among us in different colors disguising to be friend but ready to stab us on our back any minute.

These so-called gods I am talking about are the politicians whom we have to endure each day with their never-ending clash on powers instead of improving the lives of those they have promised when they first seek the office.

And as the November 30 deadline for filing the candidacy is nearing its end, the other day, ousted former president Joseph “Erap” Estrada formally announced his candidacy for 2010 election before the crowd of 10,000 supporters in Tondo, Manila.

In his statement he said that the bid could be the last performance of his life so he sworn to give his utmost effort not to fail those who believed in him. He further added that his platform will still focus on the welfare of the masses of which he promised again to help improve their way of living. His mission is to deliver the country from poverty and eradicate corruption in the government.

During his 1998 inaugural speech as the sworn-in president, he promised to deliver “the greatest performance of his life”. Two and a half year after he was ousted and convicted for plunder.

Despite, issues on the legalities on the status of his candidacy of which the constitution clearly states that an elected president could no longer run for re-election, Mr. Estrada is confident that he will win the battle for he believes the voice of the people is the voice of God, and that voters should be the final judge.

Joining him as his running mate is Makati mayor Jejomar Binay.

Weekend Getaway: Punta de Fabian, Baras, Rizal

Since we have started a very top secret mission (lol), my friends and I are always on the road on weekends. It’s either scouting for anything worth for the mission (it’s really a top secret, I swear haha), planning for any strategies or just simply for plain craziness – I mean, a weekend of road tripping.
Despite coming from flu, I still had a mild headache and an occasional dry cough when I woke up Sunday morning. But you see I have sworn-in to carry out and protect anything for the mission (ahaha).

Reluctantly, I forced myself to teleport at the rendezvous. And as always, I am the first to arrive. I hate this idea, it’s a pain waiting for someone and for crying-out-loud we have agreed for the time in the first place, my superpowers were on the verge to manifestation, the good thing I was able to keep my feral state at bay (lol).

Few more minutes and they’re sprouting in the nearest port key. We’re set to travel Baras, Rizal. It’s my first, so I’m kind of excited. We’re going to Punta de Fabian; one of our friends had already booked a day ahead of us.

I didn’t know Rizal was actually far, I thought we’re just going somewhere near Antipolo. The road trip was like climbing Baguio with all the zigzagging roads. And if I were to describe Rizal it’s definitely a province of waiting shade (lol), it seems to me that in every 500 meters apart, waiting shades can be seen along the national highway, (with a distinguishable letter “Y” for Ynares, their governor).

Twenty minutes past ten and we’re knocking the gate of Punta de Fabian. The place was lovely and very inviting. Located on top of a hill overlooking the Laguna Bay of which until this very day still flooding in its surroundings, some of the houses are still submerged to water and that the only visible part was the roofs.

Punta de Fabian, definitely an enchanted place, the rooms are cozy; and at 6.5K per night, you can have this room (see image above). It’s a good place if you want some hormonal (lol) moments with your partner. It’s very serene and the landscape was awesome. I heard it’s one of the properties of ERAP.

UE tied the series, Winner-Take- All on Thursday’s UAAP Finals

They want it bad and so they worked hard!

Warriors’ first Finals victory since 1985, the year the team won its last championship under Allan Caidic.

Underdog in this 72^nd UAAP finals when early favorite, defending champion, the high-spirited Ateneo Blue Eagle is set for a sweep to aim its bid for a back-to-back title after having claimed the first game of the best of three series.

Yesterday at the historic Araneta Coliseum, the Warriors not only came back but also displayed a flawless game to win big and tied the series, forcing a winner-take-all game on Thursday 08 October 2009 before the stunned Ateneo fans.

The dynamic duo of Espiritu and Llagas instrumented the aggressive offense of UE that crippled Ateneo’s solid defense. Yesterday’s game could be the last time the duo would be wearing the team’s Jersey if not for the win as the two will be retiring this year.

UE started claiming the first basket of the ballgame courtesy of Acuna at 9:63 of the time clock. Maintained the lead but at 4:31 remaining in the first quarter, Baclao made a basket and tied the game with 11-all, the first deadlock of the game. UE never intimidated, bounced back and taking the first quarter with a three-point advantage 18-15.

Second quarter was a tight ballgame. Combinations of three points shots from Monfort, Al-Hussaini and the buzzer beater three point shot of Jai Reyes gave Ateneo a two-point advantage at the end of the first half with 38-40.

In third quarter, UE was unstoppable dominated the game as the combination of Espiritu, Llagas and Lee working earnestly to gave Ateneo a ten points deficit at the end of the quarter. UE further strengthen the lead at the final quarter when Espiritu and Llagas firing hot at the three-point territory to finally tied the series with a final score of 88-68, the biggest lead in a final.

UE Red Warrior Terminated FEU Tamaraw Advances to the UAAP 72 Finals

Thanks to back-up forward Rudy Lingganay for coming-out of his shell, in time when UE needed it most. And like a wounded warrior he fought hard with conviction and helped sending his team all-the-way to the 72 UAAP finals.

In yesterday’s, 24 September 2009 do-or-die match-up before the crowd and spectators at the Araneta Coliseum, the FEU Tamaraw and UE Red Warrior had to battle once again after FEU having the twice-to-beat advantage was defeated by UE in their first encounter on last Saturday’s game, 24 September 2009.

It was the Tamaraw who have enjoyed a convenient lead in all of the first three quarters of the game but at 8:10 to the final canto, UE forward Rudy Lingganay started a five-straight points run and helped Pari Llagas for a go-ahead lay-up basket to finally grab the lead with a 70-68 advantage, first time since the game started.

Determined to win, the Warriors finished the game with a 78-72 victory. Paul Lee and Val Acuna both collected 17 points each while Llagas, Lingganay and veteran Espiritu contributed a total of 37 points. They will be facing defending champion Ateneo Blue Eagle for the UAAP crown.

Warriors’ last UAAP Finals appearance was in 2007 after posted a 14-0 record in the elimination but swept by the DLSU Green Archers in the finals.

The last time UE Red Warrior won a UAAP Championship was way back in 1985 under the duo of PBA legends Alan Caidic and Jerry Codinera.

UE Red Warrior on the Road To Redemption

Always a contender in the prestigious four but for 11 years they have always failed to win a game in the final four, their last three seasons were even painful and frustrating courtesy of the champions. And we’re not even counting the famous or was it an infamous one (oh well for UE squad), the three-point buzzer beater shot of ADMU Jec Chia.

Just last year, they were easily booted off by champion ADMU Blue Eagle in the final-four with Blue Eagle having the twice-to-beat advantage. In 2007, despite sweeping the eliminations winning all 14 games; in the finals they were defeated by DLSU Green Archers. And in 2006 while having carried the twice-to-beat advantage they were frustratingly sent packing by the UST Growling Tigers.

And now on its Road to Redemption and the will to erasing the stigma, after the 11-year spell (it’s the longest in UAAP history), yesterday 19 September 2009, in their first of the scheduled two meetings with FEU Tamaraw as the latter having the twice-to-beat advantage, the UE Warriors finally won a final-four with a convincing score of 84-74.

The last time they won a final-four was way back in 1998 with an 81-68 apparently with the same team FEU Tamaraw, the Tamaraw had also a twice-to-beat card but eventually in a do-or-die match-up the FEU won the game.

Uh I hope history won’t repeat itself. Bring back the glory that once belongs to you for chissake. Lol!

UAAP 72 Final Four Clincher Ends, Blue Eagle Remains on Top

Defending champion and this season #1, ADMU Blue Eagle face-off with FEU Tamaraw, league’s #2 to finally closes the search for UAAP season 72, Final Four. Although Final Four was already revealed earlier after last year’s runner-up DLSU Green Archer’s failure to secure its place to the prestigious four, giving the slot to UST Growling Tiger. This year’s Final Four teams include, ADMU Blue Eagle, FEU Tamaraw, UE Red Warrior and UST Growling Tiger.

Due to the current league’s point system, last Saturday, 12 September at the Big Dome (Araneta Coliseum), two top teams have to face each other for the #1 slot. While ADMU has an 11-1 score card compare to FEU’s 11-2, still the Tamaraw has the chance to claim the top rank if they beat the defending champion by more than five (5) points.

On Saturday’s main event, a breath-taking game filled the Big Dome with mostly blue enthusiastic crowd cheering for their team. Blue Eagles made the first basketball point in the game but half-way through the quarter the Tamaraws pulled-off dominating the game and ending the first quarter with an 11 points advantage.

The Eagles came back with an 8 more points in second quarter but not enough for its first two quarters combined total to be in the lead having a half time score of 35-32 in favor of the Tamaraw. Tamaraw then strengthened its lead in third quarter with a 15 points lead but it was in the final quarter that the Ateneo squad finally back to the game with a 10-0 run but still not enough to cut the lead.

At 4:19 remaining, Jai Reyes (the Jainamite) made a three-point basket to finally claim the lead of the game with 62-61. It was after that shot that the Eagles started to soar high and never look back ending the game with a final score of 74-73.

Being the #1 and #2, both Ateneo and FEU has the twice-to-beat advantage against its rival on the road to the finals. FEU will be facing the #3 seed; UE Red Warrior on Saturday, 19 September while #1 Ateneo will schedule to battle the squad of this year’s MVP Dylan Ababou, the UST Growling Tiger on Sunday, 20 September.

FEU Cheering Squad, 2009 Samsung UAAP Cheerdance Champion

In an estimated crowd of more than 20,000 screaming fans, Big Dome was filled with blue, red, yellow, green and maroon supporters on Sunday, 13 September for the 2009 Samsung UAAP Cheerdance competition.

A consistent top 3 finisher in the last 3 years of competition, FEU Cheering Squad, this year’s UAAP host had finally pulled-off and becoming UAAP season 72 cheerdance champion with a winning average of 86.1%. FEU Cheering Squad is well-known for its synchronicity and original moves. The Tamaraw being the last group to perform started strong with flawless routines and continue with a perfect ending.

ADMU Blue Babble Battalion, another breakthrough performance in this year’s competition climbed higher taking the 1^st runner-up trophy, their highest placement ever being consistently trailing behind at #4 in the previous competitions. Blue Babble Battalion got an average score of 83.4%. The moonwalk lift, stunts where-in the girls carried by its men and doing the Michael Jackson signature moves in the air saved its day, a new and a trademark move for the babbles. Meanwhile Blue Babble, Sari Campos was named the Samsung Stunner.

Last year’s winner UP Pep Squad failed to retain its title, was announced 2^nd runner-up with an average total score of 83.1%. They started strong but failed to sustain it to the end, a couple of misses in the pyramid made them to land in # 3.

The biggest upset of this season goes to the UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe, title holder of 8 championships – 5 straight in this decade, and last year runner-up, ended outside the top 3. Came in with a huge crowd but lost somewhere in the middle, their routines are original but not a stunning one, an Egyptian inspired routine, capped off with a human pyramid with two dancers on top amidst the fire-like banner did not wow the judges, though the performance was okay.

Noynoy Aquino in 2010

So he was finally tempted! 40 days (apparently, it was on the 40^th day that The Temptation of Jesus happened, Matthew 4:1-11 but of course Jesus wasn’t tempted) after former president Cory Aquino was laid to rest. Senator Noynoy (Benigno Simeon Aquino III), ex-president’s only son and expected to continue his parents advocacy (yes, even this too soon) has finally announced that he will be running for the 2010 presidential race.

In a much awaited announcement after persuasion from various groups for the young Aquino to run for president. Earlier developments has prompted Senator Mar Roxas (Noynoy’s party mate and supposed to be Liberal Party (LP) standard bearer for the 2010 election) to withdraw and sacrifice his bid for presidential race, in spite of the effort he has given to his campaign just to give-way for Sen. Noynoy as growing numbers of out-cry and petitioners calling Aquino to run for president, to spearhead the CHANGE (well, Obama is bald and he’s starting lolz) in our political system.

Although he accepted the challenge, other presidential aspirants are still comfortable with his addition to the list adding that he needs to top the survey first before they will consider him a threat.

Meanwhile in his announcement, he further added that he will be choosing Senator Mar Roxas to be his running mate (as if he can afford not to pick him) but the senator has yet to confirm the offer and that according to him he won’t spoil Noynoy’s moment and so therefore we have to wait (again) for the even more anticipated announcement (Oh, please with the drama).

In Suspended Animation

The morning is chilling! I’m sipping my now lukewarm coffee that is still half-empty while staring blankly at my desktop. Tuesday, and I’m suppose to be animated, it’s suppose to be a start of the new week after a long vacation break. The bad weather, the freezing temperature of the room and the mess inside (installer CDs, slithered network cables, and damaged hard-disks are scattered – a job left by our resigned technical support) must have contributed to my idleness.

I opened my facebook but not much going on with my profile except from some friends leveling-up for their Farmville while others were busy buying friends from FFS. I have a message from my inbox, from a friend asking when I’m going to paid him a visit. Then a posted comments on my wall, it’s always a joy reading wall comments especially when it was posted by the ever hilarious friend and ex-employee, our then Finance Comptroller. Her jolliness is very infectious.

I started the day opening my mails and have been very pleased after receiving a payment from Payperpost. Then there’s job waiting for me at oDesk that need to be started but I’m still useless at this time, maybe tonight hmp.

What is a GERD?

I was talking to a friend last night and he told me he needs to resign from his work. He’s a fresh graduate and he just accepted the job just three months ago so I asked him what is the reason behind and he said he needs to rest for some health problem. He looks very healthy physically, he’s a jolly person; a very animated one. But behind the aura, his system seems to be too sensitive. His heart is weak; he cannot expose himself from too much work. On rainy days his nose acting weird and a whole lot more which of course I won’t list all.

Lord (my friend’s name) has this disorder called GERD. Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease, a condition in which acid, bile and partially digested food in the stomach back up into the esophagus.

Food we have eaten when digested contains strong acid that also contains powerful enzymes that break down food. This acid and enzymes when come into contact with the esophagus may cause irritation, inflammation, pain and other symptoms. Because unlike the stomach which have special protective layer that protects from acid attack, esophagus is not design to have these protective linings making it vulnerable to damage from stomach acid and digestive enzymes.

Heartburn is the most common symptoms for GERD. It’s a burning sensation right behind the breastbone that may move upward toward the throat. Often worse after meals and bending over or lying down may make it worse. It may also often occur after going to bed at night. Other GERD symptoms include burping-up or regurgitation of sour-tasting acidy substance into the mouth, difficult or painful swallowing, sore throat, hoarseness and/or cough.

Although it is treatable, person with GERD must be in strict diet and must impose lifestyle changes, medication or surgery for worst cases.

The doctor advised Lord to take a very light meal every two hours interval and have those prescribed medicine without a miss.

I am teasing him how yummy the crispy pata, lechon kawali and chololates are but he just grinned and said, sorry to disappoint you but I am not crazy about those foods.

Roxas Gives Way for Noynoy

Senator Mar Roxas the brain behind the Tax Exemption for Minimum Wage Earner, also responsible for amending the Cheaper Medicine Law and consistent critic of the president; tagged as the Mr. Palengke has been very vocal about his aspiration for 2010 Presidential election. Matter-of-factly he’s one among the most geared-up candidates in terms of early campaign with his informercial, Ramdam ko Kayo (I Feel About You) Campaign, a 20 seconds advertisement that talks of how it feels to be poor and by that he assured them that he will do something about their concerns.

And now when all seems to be in perfect place, Sen. Roxas ambition to be the next president of the Philippines was suddenly in jeopardy as the recent turn-of-event unfolding before his very eyes that made it difficult for him to continue its bid; and opted instead to step down for someone.

Right after the passing of the great former president Cory, as people still mourning for her death and fresh from public sympathy; public clamors from various organizations and civil society are growing everyday for the young (Noynoy) Aquino to run for president and continue his parents dreams for a better Philippines. Noynoy being a party mate (Liberal Party) and the most favored to be the bearer of the party; a scenario that only triggers after the death of Pres. Cory (can you imagine the people behind our political party these days?).

Yesterday at Klub Filipino in San Juan, Sen. Mar Roxas made it official by announcing his cancellation for running the presidency in 2010 and that the sacrifice is to give-way for Noynoy’s candidacy of which he will supporting him all the way.

Noynoy a reluctant candidate will be announcing his plan later today. Let’s wait and see then.

Oh yes blogging is somewhat fun and it is not just a hobby about making lists of your daily rants and misfortune. But do you know that you can actually monetize this activity?

The New Entrecard

Entrecard is in new management after it has been acquired by Ziprunner. And part of the changes is the cleaning-up of its databases. This is good news for us bloggers who had issues with previous management. My account was terminated due to violation of their TOS. My blog for no reason started showing pop-up ads and even after I have fixed the problem, Langdom’s team was reluctant to re-activate my account, the annoying part my blog is still in their database.

After hearing the news about the new acquisition, I gambled myself to register again, lo and behold I was in again and waited a day for them to check my blog if my blog do not violate the TOS. After my by blog was accepted, advertisers started queuing my dashboard, oh I am missing this scene. The good thing except for the paid ads, its auto-approve no need for me to comeback often for the new advertisers to be approved.

Entrecard is a free advertising exchange network and by putting entrecard widget is a good way to market your blog of which users can advertise their own blog with in entrecard network for free. Weekend Getaway: Destination Manaoag and Baguio

At 30 minutes past three in the morning, I received a text from a friend with a message gising na (wake-up). I wasn’t sleeping the whole night, my usual sleeping habit is 1:30 in the morning and we have to leave Manila by four, so I refrain myself from sleeping because it’s going to be impossible for me to wake-up that early if I have to sleep. Instead I drowned my self from watching boring movies being played over at HBO.

At exactly four, my friend was already at the gate to pick me up - it was a chilling morning, I had no choice but to put my jacket on and headed downstairs. We need to pick another friend at Quezon Avenue, EDSA; it’s going to be a threesome trip to Baguio lol. It was originally planned to be a foursome road trip but out of the blue, the night before Sunday, one of our companion had to backed-out from the team in favor of watching his favorite boxing match scheduled on Sunday.

We left Manila at thirty two minutes past five exactly; we are not familiar with the place so we brought maps, a map of entire Baguio and the other one - map of Luzon Area. I serve as the navigator as it was always my task every time we have to travel outside of Manila. Uh and mind you, I think I am very promising that I swear we could stand a chance of winning the Amazing Race lolz.

First destination - Manaoag, traveling to Manaoag was fun, we took the Concepcion route instead of the usual Mabalacat, and so at 8:30 in the morning we found ourselves lighting candles inside the Manaoag church. After we offered prayers to the Lady of Manaoag, we scouted the area for anything worth buying. Lots of fruits were displayed outside the church. We bought a kilo of Atis, Mango and Santol. Parking was a serious problem in Manaoag it takes you an hour to find one.

The Manaoag adventure was done, so we unanimously agreed to climb Baguio, and we’re crazy about the shortcut so we took the Kennon Road. We have traveled so fast that in no time we’re in Baguio, well we have a crazy driver, and she’s a psychopath of the road lolz.

We’re all starving upon entering Baguio that we actually forgot to pay attention on the Lion’s head lols, we decided to have our lunch at Camp John Hay, and we ended dining at one of the diners at Mile Hi Center. After the much needed break we went straight to the church (the Cathedral) to offer some prayers after that we headed to the market place at Session Road to buy pasalubong.

It was a wet weekend, it’s raining around Baguio at that time, and we’re exhausted from walking the steep terrain of Baguio (lawet dila). After buying the pasalubongs we set to leave Baguio, we are following the Kennon Road sign but were surprised after realizing that we are actually following a Victory Liner bus, and buses I think are not allowed in Kennon Road.

We stopped at the tunnel and asked the waiting commuters what road we were taking, and they unanimously said, Marcos Highway. Uh oh, we ended laughing and continued the travel as we passed the zigzagging road of Marcos Highway. Heavy rains started to fall; a long and tiring travel back to Manila.

Twitter Follower Widget

Let’s face it, Twitter is everywhere these days. It’s the most favored micro-blogging platform in the net. Thanks to the media exposure, celebrities and famous people who uses this application. A couple weeks back, Iran used twitter to assemble her people and marched on the street and let their voices be heard.

Lady Gaga last night after her one hour breath-taking and a night to remember show at the Big Dome (Araneta Coliseum) tweeted and extended her appreciation by thanking Manila for the warm reception.

More and more third party applications and widgets are sprouting everyday to ride the popularity of Twitter. And speaking of third-party apps, I have found a new application that would let you add a widget on your website or blog about your twitter followers.

I find this really cool because usually, widgets about twitter will only give you the total number of your followers and the status on your current tweet. In short it won’t give you the thumbnail of your followers like the Google FriendConnect or Facebook NetworkedBlogs.

Zhuyo, pronounced [zoo-you] is a Chinese term meaning ‘assisting friends’, Zhuyo.com has a very nice and neat widget about your Twitter follower which you can select from different color scheme you want. The only thing I don’t like about Zhuyo, is the font used for the status tweet, the good news you can change it by amending the CSS code but of course there’s a bad news, the link to it is broken lolz – it’s not working, so for now obviously we’ll gonna wait for them to be fixed.

And by the way, Zhuyo is now in its close beta but if you really want the widget you have to follow them on Twitter to get the invitation code. Here’s the example of the widget, please take a look.

Putting a widget on your website is one way to attract traffic and if your website content is about making money then it only means that this traffic could be a possible business partner and therefore an increase to your profit.

Last SONA of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo

Small, yet fierce and firm woman, dressed in her usual terno as she gives one-by-one her so-called achievements during her time as the president of the Republic of the Philippines.

In her last SONA (State of the Nation Address), President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo summarizes her accomplishments despite criticisms from various groups. And instead of giving us the scorecard of the projects she have achieved for the last year, since this will be her last term, she enumerated the long term programs that she started, inherited and finished and together with the policies she have implemented during her term.

On Economy being her strongest asset, she said that inspite of the global crisis brought about by the financial meltdown all over the world, Philippines has managed to maintain and continue its growth.

And I agree with her, while its true that Philippines has merely suffered a decline in growth but still maintain a positive growth rate as compare to its neighboring countries who were experiencing a negative growth rate in GDP.

Still on economy. During her term she cut the debt of the government corporations from 15 % to 7% and foreign debts from 73% to 32%.

This is good news that she managed to cut our foreign debts having been a burden to us every time the foreign currency fluctuated, a debts that’s been a problem since the time of Marcos administration.

On Infrastructure. She claimed that in her administration, we have airports of international standard, upgraded domestic airports, built seaports and the roll on/roll off transport system.

Well what can I say; tourism industry is growing as I’m hearing about it. So these trends could attribute to our better infrastructure projects.

On Education. She cited various development on education, the increase in number of school buildings, teachers, government scholarship grants and the plan to increase college to five years; two pre-university and three professional years.

I disagree with this one. Additional year of College would only lead to the increase of household expenses and is unforgivable at this point of time. Why won’t the government instead put focus by monitoring schools to make sure the quality of being feed to the student?

On cheaper medicines. A good move that will beneficial to the poor and our senior citizen who are in need of maintenance prescription.

On her travels. She reiterated that in her every travels she always brought home foreign investors to strengthen our economy. Encourages OFW to bring more remittances for investments. But unlike other any government officials her travel expenses were always the target of criticism.

On her critics. She had unleashed her acid-tongue by lambasting two of her very vocal critics who both eyeing for presidential election.

A hard worker despite the negative public perceptions, deals the harshest criticisms yet manage to stand on her feet and continue to work, to make Philippines a better place in the face of the planet. And as she bids goodbye, I am proud and convinced, I have made the right decision (ooops ooops ibaba ang mga kilay walang pakialaman ng trip ahahaha). Well, I have voted her to be the president of this country.
