Claremont Village Expansion just keeps getting better wit a few new additions. This week I had the pleasure of going to the Beer Belly Deli for lunch on the recommendation of a co-worker. I asked a co-worker to join me for lunch. She is always happy to hang out in Claremont. Beer Belly Deli is on the Claremont Village Expansion side, located at the west end of the Packing House.

Taking a wrong turn can sometimes end in a nice surprise. I was headed to a place near Cal State San Bernardino to have lunch, but wound up taking the wrong exit and before I knew it, I found myself right near Tony's Diner in Devore. I have seen Tony's Diner dozens of times as I zipped by on the 215 freeway, and wondered about it.

I headed to the San Bernardino Santa Fe Depot to try the Iron Horse Cafe on the suggestion of a co-worker. Sounded like a fun place for lunch - a bite to eat, watch the trains and check out the historic depot.

This week I ventured to San Dimas for the first time and found a place that fits the mission perfectly. It's the Sidekick Cafe, located in San Dimas Business Center on Allen Avenue.

Fontana is home to many strip malls, but the Fontana Village strip mall, on Foothill Boulevard just east of Sierra Avenue, is a little different. It has a very nice Asian restaurant hiding in plain sight called Khunyai Asian Grill.

This week was bittersweet. I took the plunge towards being a full-fledged senior. I finally decided it was not so bad to order from the senior menu. The adorable server didn't check my driver's license, either. Ugh!

Find a bit of Argentina at Boca Burger in Claremont

Things are always changing in Claremont. The Claremont Village and the Village Expansion has many places to dine, but this week I went a bit farther up Indian Hill Boulevard and found a place called Boca Burger with a Bit of Argentina on in the Old School House Center, near Trader Joe's.
